exactly right, and we're going to dive right into it.

So you guys have the Chamber and Young Professional's Business
Brew that's coming up tomorrow at Superior Credit Union, right.

Yes, from eight to nine am, the Chamber and Young
Professionals are hosting our monthly networking event called Business Brew.
That'll be at the Superior Credit Union on Apolloed Drive
here in Wapakeetta.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
And that is just sort of a show up. You
don't need an invitation or a registration or anything.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Nope, you can just show up. We'll have some coffee
and some muffins and I'll just see some casual note networking.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
All right, it's a Business Brew coming up, but tomorrow morning. Meanwhile,
first Friday is here, well, it's not here now, it
will be here on Friday. And with the June and
the summertime, we're going to go with the classic car
theme huh.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yes, in front of the Wapop Theater. They're going to
have a classic cruising So cars, trucks, motorcycles are all welcome.
The lineup starts at four if you want to bring
out your vehicle, but if you want to come just
check them all out. It'll be they'll be parked from
five to seven. They're on Willoughby Street.

And First Friday also includes other things and you do
it every Friday, So just sort of lay out what
First Friday is all about.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, First Friday is the first of every month, so
it's just an opportunity to hang out downtown. The shop
stay open later, you can. Sometimes they even have sales
going on. But it's a fun time to kind of
spend the evening downtown and get some food, go shopping.
And we also have a party in the Park every

Friday through June and that's from seven to ten thirty.
We have food, trucks and live music behind town in
Heritage Park.

So Friday, Wahpawk's the place to be, that's for sure.
So we visit with Lindsay Young from the Wallpark Chamber.
And this weekend it's Friday and Saturday, I think it
is right. The community garage Sales city wide garage sale.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Yes this weekend. Some of them start early on Thursday
and some of them will stay open late through Sunday.
You can also find some of the listings on our
Facebook page under the community garage Sales end. But definitely
just come over, cruise through town and you'll be able
to find some great.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Grud sales going on, no question about it. The Wallpark
garage sales this weekend. Check it out. Also, as we mentioned,
with the weather getting warmer, we want to see the
kids be safe when we take them to the pool
and the YMCA is the perfect place to do that
and they have their yearly program here right.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, the Wapit of YMCA is offering their Splash Around
Water Safety program. It's a free program for kids and
they have it available for different ages and it's pretty
easy to sign up. They have some more information on
their Facebook page and you can also just call the
YMCA or stop in to get signed up for it.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Yeah, it's a pretty well mandatory if you're going to
take the kids swimming to get them involved in that,
make sure that everybody knows how to swim and be safe.
So we encourage people to do that. We're visiting with
Lindsay Young from the Wallpak Chamber and the Wapak Chamber.
Business after Hours is coming up on the June nineteenth,
that'll be two weeks from Thursday, and you guys are

taking it to a sort of a unique place. Where
are you going to have it.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Yeah, we're going to be out at Silver Shears Salon.
That'll be from five to seven pmtwork, working, drinks, appetizers,
So this is our after hours networking event. It'll be
out on their deck and in their backyard of the
salon and that'll be co sponsored by Global Electric Moderific

and Leeve's famous recipes, so we'll have chicken, we'll have
some other great foods there. So that'll be fun and.

Jim Business after Hours. That's every month that Chamber does
that and looking forward to June nineteenth. Speaking of looking forward,
we want to look you ahead because July is even
bigger in Wapa Caneta and it starts right away with
the Saint Joe Festival, which this year is the third
and the fourth with the fourth being on a Friday.

That's a huge event.

Yes, that will be huge, what a great time every
year they always have a big fireworks show, so that'll be.

A blast so to speak, right, yeah, to turn a phrase,
And we really want to plan ahead because the Summer
Moon Festival is the biggest event in Wapacanetta every year.

And it's not long after a Saint Joe Festival, right,
it's a couple weeks later.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yes, it will be here before we know it. That
July fifteenth through the twentieth will be the Summer Moon
Festival and we will have live music, lots of food, trucks,
the Family Fund Zone in Heritage Park, so lots of
fun for the whole family. So come on out and
join us.

It's going to be a great summer in Wapa Canetta
and it gets underway right away with First Friday the
