A rousing win for the Reds yesterday as they meet
the Toronto Blue Jays five to four in walk off
fashion in the bottom of the ninth. It looked pretty

he gave up two home runs and three runs total,
and the Blue Jays took a four to two lead

(00:23):
to the bottom of the ninth, But the Reds would
not be deterred. The inning started with a single by
ky Brian Hayes after Miguel Anduhwar popped out. Matt McClain
singled as well that chased Tommy Nants and brought Brendan
Little out of the Toronto bullpen. And then the Reds
appeared to have tied the game with TJ. Friedel hit
a ball into the right field corner, scoring McLean and Hayes,

(00:45):
but after a review, turns out the ball had become
stuck between the pads down the right field line, making
the ruling of ground rule double and meeting the Reds
still trailed by a run. As Noelve Marte came to
the plate, he singled through a on an infield into
left field. McLean and Friedel scored to give the Red
d a five for a victory. Afterward, manager Terry Francona talked

I still got dirt on me from when he slid
it home, and it'll it'll slow down. There was a
lot coming at him today. We were trying to get
his attentions, first step bat to move the runner. He
kind of went right through that one, but those things
will settle down.
