school football. Our WIMA microphones will be at Shawnee as
they won to one. Indians host to one and one
Elida coverage presented by the Apollo Career Center. Shawnee bounced
back from an opening week loss to LCC by thrashing
Kenton last Friday night, and head coach Shane Weierman says

his defense will have to deal with an Elida attack
that has big play capability.

I know they graduated their quarterback last year and they

deep shots that he's afraid to take. He's gonna throw
the ball down the field. And they've made a killing
with their big plays, not just in the air. I

that we make them earn their yards.

As for Elida, they dropped to their WBL opener last
week at home to Van Werd, and in order to
bounce back, head coach Kyle Harmon says his defense will

You know, it all starts with Spiker back there. You know,
he's a dynamic athlete. He does some really good things
and he goes off script. He's very dangerous, but it
comes down to keeping in the pocket, keeping a spy
on him, you know, getting pressure, getting him off his
throwing point. But they run the football well you know
the number zero he runs outside zone. Well they showed
that against Kenton and they have some tracks beat outside.
So it's going to come down and reading our keys,
getting pressure and being gap sound.
