think this is one thing that you talked about when
you started this for the first time last year. Again,
doctor Juli che is joining us this morning, a day
where they can come out and they can get, you know,
multiple things done that day. You mentioned so many different

(06:10):
opportunities for a vaccine, you know, maybe a different kind
of screening or something. But having that day where people
can come out, you have all these providers makes it
so much easier for those in the kit.

It's really your one stop shop for everything health related,
and again that can be emotional health, physical health, spiritual health,
financial health. We have pretty much every different partner in

us from the Health Department, Richland Public Health. Free Community
Health Day. Put it on the calendar coming up very
very soon, little less than two weeks, so it'll be
here on July twenty second, nine to three. But before that,
you got incarceration next week.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Yes, one of our favorite events that come into town, incarceration.
So my staff is completely at capacity between Free Community
Health Day, incarceration, and so many other big events that
are going around Richland County. It's so inspiring and enjoyable
to see all these wonderful activities happening around Richland County,

(08:41):
and my staff just loves seeing the community and interacting
with everybody. So as you're out and about this summer,
if you see our mobile clinic or one of our tents,
or even just one of our staff members out and
about doing an inspection, be sure to say hello. We
love our Richland County community members, so can't wait to
see everybody out there over the next couple.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Of weeks, Julie, before I let you go, in terms
of incarceration next weekend, what July eighteenth, nineteen twentieth. As
we get into next week, you mentioned your staff's going
to be busy because you have what food vendors, tattoo artists,
all those that have to be inspected by the.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Health Absolutely we're there for the campgrounds, the tattoos, and
the body piercings, all of the different food trucks and
food vendors and whatnot so that everybody can have a
safe and rock and roll in time. So we're going
to have a really busy next two weeks. But hey,
we live for this stuff.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
I was going to say, I know, over the years
they've had over one hundred tattoo artists.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yeah, that's exactly right. And this is something that we
do all these inspections and paperwork and set up and
whatnot all year round. So it's been a long time coming,
and we can't wait to see incarceration come to Fruition
next weekend.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
All right, again, we're talking with doctor Julie Che for
just a moment longer. She is the health commissioner at
Richland Public Health. So incarceration next weekend, you have your
free community health Day and then, oh, by the way,
not too long after that, it's back to school time.
I can't believe you're seeing that. I know.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
And it's going to be football season two even more.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Exciting, right, already prepared for that, and it's a rolling tortoise.
But boy, it just seems to be somewhere just flies
by nowadays. I mean, I know with the Health Department,
you guys are just busy all the time, and I
know that makes the time go pretty quickly.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
It really does. But it's really enjoyable and especially to
see our community flourishing and getting out and about and
enjoying the time together with each other, you know, make
all those moments count.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
All right, Well, let's circle back one final time and
remind people Free Community Health Day. Tell people again when
and where we.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
