(00:30):
The fallout from the nurses ball just continues. Hi, it's Chris.
We are broadcasting live of course from the Metro Court.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Hey there's Ned. Say hi to Ned. Michael. No, Ned's
got a lot of those.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Oh god, Ned, he's not acknowledging you.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
He's not too much going on.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
I think so too much going on.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Guys, there's a lot going on. Thanks for joining Man
and So Podcast. Let me just say this out of
the gate. If Port Charles is a baseball team, they're
hitting walk off home runs right now. They are just
hitting home runs left and right. Unbelievable for just joining.
(01:30):
Appreciate you. Where we continue to grow every week. We've
got a couple of listeners in the Netherlands Netherlands or
Netherlands Netherlands.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Am I right?
Speaker 1 (01:40):
We've got a couple of listeners in the Netherlands as well.
We're growing week over week thanks to you. Appreciated. We
break the podcast down, it's so simple. We break it
down to the good, the bad, the stuff in between.
All that be honest dialogue stuff. Have a lot of fun.
Been watching this soap my whole life, and I am
the most excited I have been in a long time.
(02:04):
There is a lot of good, a lot of good
going on, you guys.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
And it starts. It starts.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
I'm not even gonna wait. I'm not gonna build it up.
I'm not gonna keep you guessing. It starts with the
greatest single recast in general hospital history. And I feel
very vindicated for this too. I'm gonna high five myself
a little bit, but it is the single handed greatest
(02:36):
general hospital GSH recast took place at the finale of
the Nurses Ball, and that is Michael Corinthos. Let's give
him a golf pat Michael, Yeah right, I mean, my god,
I officially love Michael Corinthos. If you've listened to the
(02:57):
podcast before, we've talked about rec cast a lot lately.
Over the last few weeks, we've talked about the best
what were some of the best recasts We had talked
about what we said said that we I like Molly,
we all agreed on Molly, we like Christina.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Right, and we thought that some of the worst recasts
may have been.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Drew and Lulu.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
I'll get into that a little bit.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
But then it comes Michael Corinthos, the new, the improved
Michael Corinthos. I have never seen in all my years
guys of watching General Hospital, I have never seen a
recast so effective from the get go.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
They set him up so perfectly.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
They set Michael up perfectly for the end of the
nurse's ball.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Come on, Wiley, We're going home, and the rest is history.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
We've already forgotten about Chad, We've already forgotten about Chad.
Uallye It's like, I've never seen a recast so effective,
so immediately on impact, right, and it got anything. Do
you think when do you think when Chad Dooley, who
played Michael Carinthos, went into the suits and said, hey, guys,
(04:07):
I'm gonna take some time off. I'm going to you know,
I'm gonna take your breather, and you know, behind closed doors,
they're always they're probably like, no, okay, well, you know,
you do what you gotta do, do what you gotta do,
and then that door close, You're like, oh my god, yes,
he's gone, he's gone. Right, That's probably how it took place.
(04:29):
I have a conspiracy theory too.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
I want to get into Chad Dooley as Michael Carinthos.
But you know, you know, they were like, oh you
sure you want to take time up? Are you sure
the door closes? Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Finally yes, they they bring in Rory as Michael Corinthos.
I can hear it now, all the suits in the
meeting going, hey, man, do whatever the fuck you want
with his character. It's yours. It's yours. And by the way,
you do opposite of whatever Chad Duley did. You're gonna
be golden, do whatever you want to do. You're the
new Michael Corinthos. And now we have a Michael Carren
(05:00):
in those sets expressive, sensitive, still alpha loving, not you know,
don't no, no, you know, when Chad Dewey said I'm
gonna take some time off, you know they're probably like.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Well, yeah, take all your power naps, take them all.
We got a guy, We got a guy.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
And that's my conspiracy theory. I may be crazy. I
think they were letting him go. This is Mike again,
you're a nut bag like me and your conspiracy theres
I think they were gonna let him go and they
gave Chad Dooley. How I'm saying his name right. I
harp on him so much. If he ever sees me,
he's gonna kick my ass. But I think they gave
(05:42):
him a soft landing. I really think they were going
to let him go at some point, right, because you
just can't through scenes right. And I think they gave
him a soft landing for him to announce that he
was gonna take time off.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
That's my conspiracy theory.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
And then they were gonna recast it anyway, and they said,
hey man, you've been then Michael Kordamaine, Michael Carinthles forever.
We're gonna give you a soft landing. You know you
were great and we're gonna miss you. Yeah, summer vacation.
I bet he's sleeping right now. But here's the deal.
They bring in Rory as Michael Corinthos. It's unbelievable from
(06:21):
the get go.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Blown away.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
I now look forward to Michael Corinthos scenes. I want
more Michael Corinthos scenes. Just the way he looked at
Sasha when he came home and she was with the kids,
and he just looked at me and went.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Just his expression in one scene was better than we
got from the other guy.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
For twenty years.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
The way he kissed Wiley's forehead, gentle, like a dad, paternal,
just beautiful. The scenes with him and Jason are like strong,
like I'm engaged.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
It is the the writers hit a home run. They
needed to, but then they did.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
They got a fastball down the middle and boom gone
dead center too, dead center home run. This guy is good.
I know.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
The lady's like I me. He's so handsome and he's
got my cheek bones in his eyes.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Oh I know.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
No, he's a good looking guy. I've been reading. I've
been reading it, reading the threads, reading the community boards.
People love Michael. Now here's the new toy. You gonna
lose it shine at some point, well, I mean every.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
New toy does. It gets a little, it loses its shine, right.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
But right now, baby, it's brand new. It's out of
the box. And he still has that plastic.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Smell you know when you own have that gift and
Christmas you're your kid. Oh yes, it smells so good.
It smells like electronics. It smells expensive. That's what this
guy smells like.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Like just electronics, just expensive, Like it's I want to
smell them.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yes, beautiful, great job on the casting. Oh my god,
I know everyone.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Look at you did a poll right now, You did
a poll right now. The old Michael would be in
single digits. Do you miss Chad Julie it'd be three percent.
And if you are one of those that say yes,
you need to get on the show, because then well
then we'll gang up on you.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
No, but I mean the favorability is great. It's great.
I'm reading so many great things.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
It's nice to see the GH community on board and
have been listening to this podcast.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
What have I been saying for a year now, two
years now, off and on when we're post I have
been saying, Michael Carinthos has to go. I have been
saying it was the worst.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
Character ever, no engagement, no broad appeal, no emotion. And
with one recast, this soap has now has an opportunity
to It's changed the course. Okay, GH got it right.
(09:16):
This guy is gonna be lethal, He's gonna be an
assassin for General Hospital. He's gonna get us out of
number three of three soaps in the rankings. You're gonna
watch a steady climb. I believe, I wish it's my hope.
We want more Michael Corinthos now and with that comes
(09:38):
the fallout, right, I mean that is that is the good,
right there, that is the good.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
It's all good.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Right now when it comes to Michael Corintha, all of
those scenes so good. The post Nurses Ball was earth
shattering events. They continue to have repercussions in the most
amazing way.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
We had a week of bangers again.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Fridays was a little snoozer, but Monday through Thursday it
was it.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Tuesday through Thursday.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
We're in a short week, right, so we got Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
We're like home runs Brooklyn and Don.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
The reveal with Brooklyn and Dante happened, of course during
the Nurses Ball. Thanks to Lulu, it is now official.
It was a great week. Not a great week personally
for Geo, but dang, the acting off was off the
charts this week. Brooklyn and Lois were amazing. Give an
(10:47):
Emmy to Brooklyn. Really now, I've been a.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Little harsh on her as well. I'm gonna walk it back,
bit reversing it.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I'm taking it all back because she's been amazing. She's
been great, and I don't know about you guys. I'm
like a little bit emotionally drained too. It kind of
knocked me out this week, but I was so invested
(11:18):
I couldn't wait to get in because I wanted to
see Michael Corintos, and I wanted to see Dante and
Lois and how Dante really. Dantes had a lot going
on on his plate, between Rocco and the alcohol poisoning
and just a lot of stuff in general, right him
and the Lulu drama. Now he gets hit.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
He's a dad. I thought he was v handled Lois
very well. Michael, what do you think did he?
Speaker 1 (11:42):
Didn't you think he like Dante, Dante got more upset
with Geo over the alcohol poisoning than he did with
with Brooklyn hiding the pregnancy. Like I thought he was
very calm, and he was still in a state of shock.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
But I thought he handled it pretty well.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
What say you? Oh, like the who His whole thing
was like, oh, don't you tell me, you never gave
me a chance?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Right?
Speaker 3 (12:06):
But also.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
She was like sixteen, she was young, she had no idea.
But I think he understands that, right, He's very understanding.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
He's not yelling. I mean, he's.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Calm, He's trying to be.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Right, I see you pulling up the family tree. You
did a great job posting this week. By the way,
you do we have the Geo family tree.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
It's just Geo, Booke and Dante.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Okay, but is there more there or you got to
update it. I'm not trying to put you on.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
The spot, Like, what do you mean update?
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Well, who's give me his? Do we have his grandparents? Now?
Do you have everything up there? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (12:38):
All right, so give me his So give us an
update on the new the family lineage for those and
if you're new to the show, this is a really
good thing, uh that Michael posted. I think he posted
it on Reddit. Yeah, it went viral too, so that
was great because I'm I kind of want to know, breakdown.
Give me the Geo, like the direct lineage, because there's
a lot there's a lot of impact here going on.
(13:00):
So give me his direct and all that. Give me
the stuff. It gets weird, Okay, that's.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
What I'm wondering. Are we going to get a little
weird here?
Speaker 3 (13:08):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Okay, give it to me, give me the direct first
and work your way out.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
So it gets weird, but not not by blood, not
creepy weird, not pepy So. Dio's parents are brook Brooklyn
and Dante right yep. From Brooklyn. His grandparents are Lewis
and Ned.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Lewis and Ned correct and.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
From Dante. The his grandparents are Olivia and Sonny. But
because Ned and Olivia are are.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Married, right, this is my question? This is what give
it to me? What's the what's the weirdest?
Speaker 3 (13:49):
They're just still still grandparents.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Also you have to remember that Sonny is Brooklyn's godparents.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Okay, but not blood because Lois made him. Because that's
the whole bench of Jack New York. Yeah, okay, Wow,
that was my question because I thought, I'm sitting there
watching it and I'm going, wait a minute, something's not
right with Olivia and Ned on this. In my head,
I'm going, something's off, like, oh, they're already married, so
that is kind of weird. Yeah, but fitting. And I'm
(14:23):
sure if we thought about it, then the writers obviously
clearly hopefully right had had had thought about it.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
I think.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
So those are your those those are your direct Yeah. Yeah,
this is really good. Where can people find you on Reddit?
By the way, if they want to look this up,
we should post this on the Instagram to did you
did you get.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
You go to our Lincoln bio. It'll be under a
d H family tree.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Okay, yeah, and it's really really good. You had a
lot how many likes?
Speaker 1 (14:53):
I mean you had a lot of people like over
you have like five hundred thousand views on it or something.
I think, So, I mean that's really good stuff, really
good stuff.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
So that's been the good all week long.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
And Dante is now hold up with Emma in some
cabin somewhere.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
I think the scenes have been intense. Poor Lois. My gosh,
she could jump off a train. No one would care.
No one I would care right now?
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Well I would too, but my god, people are picking
on her. Man Ned came in firing Brooklyn. Of course, Dante,
of course.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
I say, yeah, I'll go have nothing that can be
done that will say in my mind that Lewis did
the wrong thing.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Right because and she even explained you were young, you
were sixteen, like she she keeps having.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
To defend herself.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
Yeah, but this is also a normal reaction, like how
did you hide this from me?
Speaker 2 (15:41):
Too?
Speaker 1 (15:41):
So if I'm Brooklyn, I get the anger, but I
don't think it's like I'm going to not.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
I'm not I'm not going to kick my mother out
of my life for this.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Well, she is on the verge of I know, until
I know Grandma. What's her name.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
I don't know, but it's John Travia sister.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Yeah. I can't wait till next week and see that
a whole blooh.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Yeah, I mean, and we talked about this, what are
we talking about the last couple the last week, all
the fallout?
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Yeah, you're seeing fallout.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Curtis and Portia fallout, right, uh, Dante and Lulu major fallout.
We've kept saying Lulu was binding off more than she
could chew, trying to be a PI, trying to be
a hero, and we knew it was not gonna end
well for her. And I think Cody even said to her, man,
(16:35):
we probably could have did this a little differently.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Well, how could do you do it differently?
Speaker 1 (16:39):
Well? You mind your own freaking business is what you do.
And that's the common theme. Soryone's been telling even that.
I said, mind your own business? And then't they They
left off Thursday going you're out of my life? Right, yep,
they're done.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
We're just gonna co parent uh rocco.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Right, that's that they can't be out of each other's life.
But there they're romance that that's done.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
It's over. Lulu and Dante are not falling in.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Love in six months.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
So I really hope not. I hope that they give
someone better for Dante. I really liked it.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Dante and Sam cannot stand Lulu. Lulu is like, Okay,
she's about as appetizing as warm jello. Like she is,
like she's warm jello. It's like and from what I've read,
by the way, after I saw your post, and I've
been reading other stuff, like on the Reddit forms, and
no one likes Lulu, no, no one. No one's gonna
(17:32):
sit there and go, this is the greatest recast ever. Yeah, right,
I think they had.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
No one's gonna say, Louis Lulu was right to uh
expose this and like.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Call it and call her odd at the nurse's ball. Yeah,
and you don't remember this because it's before your time.
The other Lulu was great, and then there was another
Lulu before that, I believe. So this is the third Lulu, okay,
and the third car League, which I think we've talked about.
So when you're talking about recast, this one bar none
is just the worst one. It's hard for me to
feel sorry for her. She's just not likable, Like if
(18:05):
you're a likable idiot, okay, Like I'm a likable idiot.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
People like talking stuff crap about me. Yeah, but I'm
also lovable.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
I'm a good guy, like I mean, well, like I
am very lovable. Right, people will be like, oh my god,
Chris is a little bit of a shit show, but
we love them Lulu.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
There's just nothing give me something redeeming about Lulu.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
And I hope and pray that they're not gonna try
to pair her and Cody together.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
I've read that maybe, and I'm you know, obviously I'm
teen Cody.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
And may I think that's gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Right, I don't know what they're gonna do with this, Lou.
They might run her out of town, by the way.
They they might like because another thing maybe, and you're
new to this, if enough people don't like you on
the show, the GH writers do listen, Like I know
that they're listening to this podcast, and they're making they
recast Michael because of us.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
I'm just kidding, but they might write her careture out.
They might. I could see it.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Happening I could yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
Yeah. But also back on the Lewist train, yeap, she
had a rough week. Yeah, but she was completely in
the right to keep this all secret film Brooklyn.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Okay, and like she was for changing her at the time.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Is.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
But also when Geo eventually comes back to the house
and gets in our argument with Brooklyn, like she didn't
want him, right, yeah, like she can't, she can't say like, oh,
I want to do I just there was no thing
(19:47):
I could do. No, it was her idea, I think,
to to do something with a baby. But like she
didn't want an abortion, and so she like, I'm going
to give away the baby to a loving family. And
Lewis like, okay, I will give you a loving family,
but you'll also be with your son, right even though.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
You know what you don't know, but you grew up
in a loving family. And Lois has said that several
times in argument, right, like he grew up in a
loving home right there in benson Hurst or whatever.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Son. He didn't even know he was. He thought he
was the uncle.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
I thought he knew it.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
But no, that's what he said.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
No he didn't.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
That would have been weird. I'm glad he didn't.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
But he's always taken good care of his uncle, what
he thought was his nephew, and now it's his grandson.
Now he's going to really spoil him, you know, if
and when they reconcile, h is Geo. So here's a question. Then,
is Geo overreacting to the news? Does he have a
right to?
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Who does? If you're Geo, pretend you're Geo, you have violin?
Oh it's broke. You can't, it's cracked. He broke it.
If you're Geo, who are you?
Speaker 3 (20:56):
Pissed up?
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Who are you?
Speaker 1 (20:59):
Who are you the most I'm mad at? If you're Geo,
I'm just curious, what's your take?
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Who would you? I'm Geo? Who the hell?
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Knowing?
Speaker 2 (21:06):
What?
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Like what I know? Like from dio'spective, or like what
I know right now?
Speaker 1 (21:12):
What you know?
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Now?
Speaker 1 (21:13):
I mean, Okay, after all this, he's angry at everybody?
So who should he be? Is is he overreacting? Or
should he be anger at everybody? Or who should he
direct his anger to?
Speaker 3 (21:22):
He should be angry at everyone.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Except Emma.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Except Emma. But I think from Geo's pitsctive, everyone knew
about him.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Right, it's everyone against him?
Speaker 3 (21:40):
I think that I think he should be mad at
loo Uh.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Brook Well, he also feels like his whole life's been
a lie. Yeah, I mean that easier for us to say,
all get over it. Well, no, he's he's hit hard
and a life changing event in his life that happened.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
Yeah, okay, I would I would be mad at I,
Like I would also be mad at Lewis because she
was a constant in his life. But I would also
be more mad at Brooklyn, right because from geosit that
(22:28):
he he thinks that she knew. So I would be
more mad at her if like saying, you knew who
I was, but you didn't claim me. You didn't go
up when I was like six years old and say like,
oh I'm a mom.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Right, No, that's true. That's true.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
It's gonna be interesting say how he internalized how it
plays out, because right now he only feels like he can.
You know, e was said, you're the only person I trust, Emma,
She's like, I thought you left. He goes out, You're
the one person I'm not gonna leave right when he
went out of the cabin. So you know that's the good.
The bad is clearly Lilu right now. That's the bad
you know. I thought one of those scenes that really
(23:07):
got me and hit me in my fields this week.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
And I got a little, I got a little, I
get attle, I get a little cry out loud, I do.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
I thought when Tracy found out that Geo was his
great grandson and he wanted to Oh.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
My god, okay, I got me in my fields.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
It got me.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
You don't go this is your great grand she's showing hell,
she's showing photos.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
This is your this is the quarterman I mean.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
And she went down, Oh my god, those are greats
that would come on, tell me you didn't have the
CLEANICX to that that and that's the Tracy I love.
That's the Tracy I love. You don't go anywhere this
And then she let him gouse.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
She understood.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
But the way she broke down the photos and this
is Leilah and it was just a beautiful It was
one of the best scenes this week.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yeah. But then she went back immediately to her h
Tracy ways and like, well we should be mad at Lewis.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Yeah, yeah, I love it. She was, oh my god,
I have a relationship with Sonny. Now I have a
bloodline to Sonny. Corintha. I thought that was funnyh yeah,
like fuck.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Yeah, I thought that was just that was just really
really really good stuff there. You know, I don't really
have a lot of bad from this week. Lulu and Drew,
sorry Willow Andrew. Michael really makes them seem so like tacky,
(24:49):
so petty and oh god, and it.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
Drew like a little weasel waiting in the car, how
to go? How to go?
Speaker 3 (24:58):
How to go?
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Michaels saying you gotta leave Drew if you want to
see the kids, and she goes, well, I you know,
I mean he said I have to.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
Well you're not. I may have to leave you to
see the kids. Well, you're not going to do that,
are you? And again, even then, he's still conniving in
that scene.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
He's such a scumback, so so manipulating. So yeah, it
really well, you're not going to do that, or we can,
like know, Michael is a bad guy.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Look at him.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
He's wedging his he's using his kiss as a wedge. Yeah,
he's You're not gonna You're not gonna do that, are you.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Yeah, Like we're so in love, like you're not gonna
you're not going to do that. We're so in love, Like.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
No, I want to give Amelia this ring someday, like
brainwashing her, grooming her, grooming her, And I don't know
why they cut her hair.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
I I like you.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
I like like the haircut that Karen cut. Cut at
the Karen cut, Like why cut? Do you think they
cut it to make her look older? Because she looks
like Drew's daughter with longer hair or is it just
maybe just a style thing. I don't understand why they
cut her.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
I don't think she looks older. I think she looks
exactly her age.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
I like her with the other hair though, it's just
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
The other hair she looked older.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Really Okay, interesting take, But.
Speaker 3 (26:13):
Also I love how Drew it's like trying to really
keep her right. Oh yeah, you have to realize they're
twenty years apart. Yeah, no, I know that's he's trying
to keep the young gun.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Oh of course he is.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Absolutely, His character has turned into such a degenerate.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Like I wish you were able to experience the old Drew.
You would have loved the old Drew. But what do
we say every week on this show that what we need?
We is he a villain? He's a douchebag? Is he
a villain? I mean, are they grooming him?
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Because we know what he Nobody likes Drew if you
like Drew the strengths, and that's what Well, he's a
minute feel he's grooming. That's what a villain does, right right.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Now, that's true. So maybe we have our villain on hand.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
But what do you think about and Nina figuring out
that Michael Man.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
Well, okay, father, yeah, okay, so here's here. Okay, So
it's funny that you say that. So I was about
to say last week, but we are still on ammord
with Michael curnthas, I still am. I want more Michael
crinthis like I wish my mother are alive right now.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
She's like, oh my god, isn't cheek bones don't?
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Why don't?
Speaker 1 (27:30):
He's a good looking to He's easy on the ice.
The ladies must love him. He's intense. Yes, last week
we didn't get to this because we just got we
got hit her with the nurse's ball stump. I was
gonna say one character that that had to go when
I got burnt on it. Maybe I didn't mention just Sasha.
The character of Sasha perplexes me, I did say, and
I did, And now I'm an idiot. I'm going to
walk it back because now I get it. I don't
(27:50):
know if the writers are smart or just happened to
fall into their hands with a Nina reveal. Now Sasha
needs to stay. Now she's a major player because she's
carrying the kid. Yep, right, And even his scenes with Sasha,
Michaels scenes are way better than the other Michaels there
already better. He's caring, he's sensitive, right, Yeah, And now
I think I was gonna say last week, I guess
(28:10):
I did say it, like I think her character was like, huh,
she could. They could take her and the baby and
go off with like you know, what's his name? What
was the doctor that Gregory's son that we love the
alcohol I'm forgetting his hair?
Speaker 2 (28:28):
What's his name? Finn? Finn? So it's like Finn and
what was the daughter's name? And the cute kid and
just Violet violent there you go, thank you, you're good.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Take Vin and Violence just go off into the sunset,
like Sasha could go off into the sunset. Because Finn
had a girlfriend or a wife that had a baby too.
I believe something and then she wrote off into the sunset.
I don't remember a lot of partying over the years,
but you could have taken her. I think if you
would have taken Sasha two three weeks ago off the
show pre Michael, by the way, pre Michael.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
No one would have cared like no one would have
cared you.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
You know, your best chemist you ever had was with
your cousin I by the way, by the way, it's
still her best man. So I got on the family tree.
Are we talking like? Are we talking Sasha and Code?
Are we talking like fifth six cousins?
Speaker 2 (29:18):
Or are we talking do we have the family tree
up one?
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Are we talking like we're talking like fifth six cousins?
Are we talking like their first cousins? Because if their
first cousins is horse.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
Fifth six cousins, like, okay, they.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Got good chemistry they can take That's how you shake
ship up on g H six cousins are in love
with each other. But you know, joking aside kind of.
Now Sasha is an important player in this. Now Sasha
is an important player in this in this equation because
(29:51):
Michael's back, he wants to be a father to the child.
Now Nina is gonna blow this ship up. We think
in court she's gonna dangle it over Michael because she
wants full well, she wants she wants her daughter to
have custody. Though she's going to leak it.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
So if you you were, I think you were gone
when that scena was playing. But she realized that.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
If she told, you know, she learned about If she told,
she's hesitant.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
If she like bleaks out the truth, that means that
betrays Sasha. No, yeah, but also that means that Will
will probably have more of a case to uh keep
the kids right. She would never leave Drew, but she
will never leave and she more than anything. And so
(30:53):
it's like I want to and she doesn't know that
Michael gave that ultimatum.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
No, that's true. That's interesting. That's interesting. So yeah, no,
I agree. And there's just so many storylines to focus
on because now you have so much. It's almost like
the car accident now with Lucky and they they they
gave us a little bit of that with Rick and Ava.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
It seems like it's.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Kind of lost its luster just a little bit now
because now we're full on Now, we're full on Michael,
Now we're full on Geo and gh is having to
navigate these rough waters with, you know, and they're doing
a great job. I'm the first to knock the riders,
but I'm also the first to give them kudos when
they when they crush it. I think they're doing a
good job of keeping us all invested in all of
(31:35):
these storylines. Yeah, you know what I mean the one
storyline this week that I thought last week I said,
where's the joy, where's the where's the goodness? You know,
where's the innocence on the storyline? I guess you could
say Kai and Trina. So they're getting it all.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
They're in between the shats, baby, I mean, like, is
that good? That that?
Speaker 1 (31:54):
That scene kind of creeped me up, by the way,
I don't know why, that whole thing, Yeah, just crazy,
the whole.
Speaker 3 (31:59):
Like you know, that was the only time I ever
fast forward to.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
Why because you know, was it the intimate scenes or
just the whole keiness and cheesiness.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Everything, because also because I just want to get to
the fallout.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
Yeah, yeah, I mean that was they tried to squeeze
that scene and I felt like, where's that?
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Like that was only one that was only one day.
Then the rest of the week there was no there
was no Kira Trina, there was no fension of them.
It was all of g O and Lewis mostly Lewis.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Right, Yeah, And I think I noticed we'll go switch
over to.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
The the blackmail money. I think Laura said something to
Lexis about Ace's trust is looking a little Finn was
getting out there, and that was the big worry that
the worry that Alexis had.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
Remember, like, we got to do this.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
It's gonna look very like if I'm siphoning all this money.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
And of course, of course it's Laura that of course
that like figured out that's a grandson.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
It's like I'm like just going through my banks pavements.
I'm like, oh, going through at aces Pike right savements,
and like, oh, it's like lower than it was before.
It might be like fifty billion dollars, but I know
there's like ten billion dollars missing.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Right. We've had so with the new Micael.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
We've had him with Willow, we've had him with Carly,
we've had him with Jason.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Good scenes haven't had that.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
First scene yet with his with his father with Sonny.
That's gonna be very good when they when they get
those scenes together. We haven't really seen a lot of
I don't think we haven't. Now, we haven't seen anything
of them together yet. So I imagine this coming week we're
going to Yeah, we're going to get.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
That next week or this upcoming week. Is the court eight, right,
because today's the first and the court date was is
on a June second, right, and that will be that
two hours court date is gonna take up the whole week,
(34:17):
probably next week if they don't figure out.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Oh no, I agree, yeah, yeah, no, I I I
completely agree.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
What do you think about my conspiracy theory with Michael
with Michael Corinthos and Chad Dully the actor. Do I
think they were gonna let him go and then then
he gave a soft landing and they knew that they
were gonna recast.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
I don't know they knew they was gonna be Rory
as Michael of Corinthos.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
But I wonder is that just a pure is that
a classic conspiracy theory or do you think it has
some sort of legs that they gave him a soft
landing and they're like, yeah, it's time for you to go,
you know, but we're gonna let you control the narrative.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
I think it's I think your a conspiracy theory is insane.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
You think it's insane. Yeah, I'm good with it. That's great.
That's what conspiracy theories are meant to be. They're crazy,
but wouldn't be surprised if a year or later it
comes out. But and that's.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
Why, that's why they're conspiracy theories.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
That's true, That's why they're conspiracy theories.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
But all I know is, man, people are going crazy
for the the new Michael, as they should.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
That is the good. We love the GEO reveal, that's
the good. Lulu's just the bad.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
Period, bad vibes, bad energy, period bad.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Sasha.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
I think now Sasha becomes relevant for I think now
I would be curious to see because I who do you?
Speaker 2 (35:58):
I mean, her and this Michael are not gonna end
up together?
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Now? Is?
Speaker 2 (36:04):
Are they gonna go captain obvious? And are they gonna
fuck it up?
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Like?
Speaker 2 (36:07):
I think they won't impair her with Jason?
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Like?
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Are they are they going to go there? Could they
go there?
Speaker 1 (36:12):
Where Jason knows Michael doesn't have any emotional attachment to Sasha,
Like Michael is a gentleman, Like I'm gonna raise his
baby with you. If you need me, I'll like, he's
gonna take care of him. So there's no betrayal of
Jason falls in love with Sasha, like Michael's not gonna
But do you think that they'll pair them together? To me,
that's a big miss. But I.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Haven't gotten any like, oh, they they might hair those
two together. It's not like they're Molly and Cody scenes like, like,
obviously they're gonna pair.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Up, yay, But it's not Super Cup older.
Speaker 3 (36:54):
Now, it's not even close. No, But I think no,
I don't think Josha ng and Jay Starr ever gonna.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Be I would hope not, because you know who I
want Jason with Harley.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
No want Jason and Anna.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
That is the love that I want.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
I don't think so you don't see it. Huh.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
Well they are hot takes. You know. It's gonna be
very interesting.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Olivia and Sonny are now grandparents together with Ned.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
You know, there's a lot going on here, that's true.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
All one thing I know is we are gonna be here.
Get the popcorn out because it's getting good. It's getting good.
It's getting good. Does Gill come back to the court
remains this week? What happens with the court case, What
happens with Porsche Curtis?
Speaker 2 (38:02):
Oh yeah, what happens this week?
Speaker 3 (38:08):
Right? Think about that.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
We are gonna find out because there's a lot of
good stuff happening and if you love gh oh man,
that was the best time to be watching, but home run.
Kudos to General Hospital for hitting out of the park.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
Michael texted me during the show, He's like, best recast ever.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
That's true.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
We love that recast right, yeah, and we'll break it
all down for you next week. U Yeah, join us
on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
I think Michael put something out We want to maybef
you want to drop some audio for us or something.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
We'd love to have you on the show.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
Yeah, got some good stuff because your takes you know,
you might not always agree with what I'm saying, you know.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
End up, we're cheer we're all cheerleaders. But yeah, there's
a lot going on.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
Everyone has a different opinion on things and it's a fascinating.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
All right, good job on the socials this week.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
Thank you man in soa up the podcast, guys, thank you.
