good things going on from this past week. Oh god,
there's willow over there. I feel so bad for her
right now. I'm seeing her right now with Wiley. It's

kind of yeah, she she looks a little shaken. Michael
doesn't look too thrilled to be standing over there, a
little tension.

about that. So but I'm looking over there, it's kind

I mean, Willow is starting to get to me a
little bit. That tells you all you need to know.
I'm getting a little soft. We break this podcast down
into the good and the bad, the in between good
stuff and you know, not a lot of bad. A
couple of things that are just annoying me that we'll
get to it a little bit and see if you
agree with you, Mikey on these things. But really, just

a really good week, uh.

It here in our favorite city in upstate New York,
Fort Charles, Baby, there were so many there was a
lot of good this week.

This was a week of a lot of Sonny where
I feel like, I don't know if the walls are
closing in or if this is something that he's going
to be able to overcome, because you kind of feel
the walls like Laura Anna right, like kind of closing
in on him a little bit. And let's have honest dialogue.

He didn't really have anything to do with Natalia's death.
I mean, I guess he kind of did because of
the burden on her. Maybe is he Okay, do you
blame Let's just cut to the chase. Do you blame
Sonny for Natalia's death?

Okay, that's a good answer, right, I mean, I mean
she was stressed, yeah, because of him? Did that cause
her to drink and take pills? I mean, and I
would say the strange relationship with Marco.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Maybe I would say the the drinking, but not the horse.
The horse tranquilighters? Is that what those word?

That's what everyone was saying. It was like strong stuff, yeah,
really strong stuff. Yeah.

So I thought that that scene was sad. We talked
about it, didn't we say that One of those episodes
this week was dark man, it was dark. But I
thought the scene with with with Natalia dying. I was sad.
I felt bad for her because she was alone. She
was reaching out to Marco and he had a really
good strong week two. But I I found myself having

empathy for her. I look at she was not my
favorite character obviously, obviously, I mean one of the worst. Again,
where the writers just continue to fail is they bring
these weird, odd characters and these those just don't stick.
Lucky Natalia and I could. I'm going front, But I
found myself in a little sorry for when she when
she when she was lonely there and dying, what about you?

Yeah, that was sad.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
I mean that was sad. I mean, no one wants
to say somebody to die. And I thought, you know,
I read by the way the Spinelli and me did
some research. Eva Laru, who plays Natalia, said that basically
she wasn't testing well, said that people did not like
her character and the writers therefore were kind of forced
to it just didn't work out. After a year, they

couldn't pair her with Sonny R.

Yeah, she didn't.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
She didn't like her Blaze and her Marco, their lifestyle
and apparently I tell you people watch they they complained
The g H army is legit and the riders get older,
so they basically the bottom line is she just wasn't
very likable.

No, she wasn't.

So what happens when characters are not very likable you
kind of just will you write them up for you
give them horse tranquilizers in vodka, or.

You just kill them off in the hospital like Sam. Yeah.

Right, but Sam was likable. That's the big difference. And
to my point, you just brought it up. You get
rid of Sam, the most beloved, my Sam, marry her.

If you bring up the sunny point again, I will leave.

If you bring up like, oh they got rid of
Sam an Cyrus because of like for we leave because

It's just it's why General Hospital is third of third
because they let beloved characters go. So I mean, I
it is what it is. It's just facts. You cannot
get rid of these powerful characters. And then you you know,

you bring in the Luckies and then Natalias and that
is a valid point. You didn't leave Okay, so it's
a valid point. So that is what it is. You
don't let beloved characters go for these rentals. So but uh,
really good stuff Sidwell this week man the villain. He

went from zero to one hundred real quick, like he
became like this new guy in town, not gonna mess
with anybody's business, and now kind of trying in his
own way to control Portrales. He's trying to control Portraals.
He had a very powerful I mean the we do
the good and the bad, and I'll do the bad.
Like that was a bad scene this week with him

and Wu Like I thought it was just it was
a weak scene, like mist de sid Well, I guess
I'll pack my bags and leave, like it was just
like one and done. Really right, he frames you? He
frames you, right, Mikey, he frames you. So I'm I
get I guess I let's you say, I have it
planed catch. Everything she says is so dramatic. So he

just got got rid of her, like really, now he's
running things. She's been in a fixture in Portrales for years,
in the family business mafia. So this guy comes into town, okay,
frames her for the fire. She has a relationship with
Sonny by the way, where she can go to him
and go, you were framed by Sidwell. I was framed
by sid When I think you know this right, Sonny
would agree because Sonny knows Sidwell did this. Yeah right,

oh yeah, I have it plane to catch like, okay,
he just ran you out of town. So I thought
that was just a really bad scene speaking of Sonny.
Focused on Sonny for a little bit, Josh wanting to
climb the ranks of the WSV to take down you know,
her stepdad. Interesting, she's got Sonny, now, she's got ven,

she's got revenge on the brain. She wants to take
down Sonny. Von goes, you want to rise up the
rank so you could take down Sonny?

She was, I do everyone wants to take down now.

It feels like I just I don't know, I don't
know what why, but I just hate her passion for
like taking sent down Sonny.

know if that was a makeout scene because they're playing

A real kiss, yeah, right, it did. Vaughn has the
best hair on soaps right now, too, got that he's

let's make out like it was a good scene though.
They have good chemistry, and we know Joss likes the

a beloved character. I'm starting to think, Mikey that she's

because they're just I thought maybe I know she died,
but they never die in jo Ustle. But I'm just
starting nick now that because she they're talking about her,
she's the one that gave birth. So if we're looking
for clarity, and I'm surprised I didn't catch this. Last week,
Britt gave birth to Rocco, so she was the surrogate

So yeah, so she's coming back. But she's a surrogate
and Brooklyn wants to really hold it against Lulu, but
she doesn't want to hurt Rocco. I thought brook Lynn
took the high road this week and that scene what Maxie.

witch of the Westbourne?

There was some great lines this week and the bridge
hopefully is coming back. We had a fire this week
caused by Sidwell. Frame mean, whoa Sidwell getting very emotional
when he That was a great scene this week Sidwell
and Marco him him consoling his son like Sidwell is

an animal, is a gangster, but he's also like very
like he's he's really good like he was very emotional.
Just see how his lips were quivering in that scene.
And he thought maybe his son could have died in
the fire that he had set right, and he had
told the guy who set the fire, whatever, I told you,
no one, no one's got to be in the bar.
But they botched the job. He knows he's responsible.

Was that was before he found out Marco correct Yet
he found out that Christina.

He talked to his whoever, his executioner was, I told

Then he finds out Marcos saved Christina at the hospital,

he got that was a very good scene.

he's got to find out his son wasn't actually in
the fire. Yeah, it was a really good scene. It

know still with this Professor Dalton, Like again, I don't
know if we're just taking a breather. It like it
it It hasn't. It hasn't like there hasn't been no
momentum with that storyline, right, Dalton comes and goes, he's

like every he's we see him what every other week?
Like we need more of that, We need more of
that because I don't want to see more of Vonn
and Joss going, you know, doing the investigating, but we
need more of the Dalton stuff. So I imagine that's
going to take take on a whole life onto itself

You gotta be able to give ample time though to
this storyline with Professor Dalton doing the animal testing. Yeah,

I wish we had more of them. Yeah, the Brooklyn
and Maxie scene was just really good. And to your point,

Anna and ady A Turner had a good scene earlier
in the week. Anna wasn't putting up with anything man

and right, Yeah, she finally stood up to her and
I felt like she had to. Eighty eight Urner was
kind of being a little bit of bullets, like a
put on her place. Now they could also team up
together too to try to take down Sonny.

I don't think Anna really. Anna's like Laura. Like Anna
has a complicated like she's Her and Jason are extremely close.
She's got and she loves Sonny too in a weird way,

I can tell when she goes, I got to take
in for questioning. She didn't want to do it, but
she has to. And that's what I'm saying. Maybe the
walls are closed and people are getting tired of Sonny's

couple of things that are just annoying me that we'll

lot of good this week.

This was a week of a lot of Sonny where
I feel like, I don't know if the walls are
closing in or if this is something that he's going
to be able to overcome, because you kind of feel
the walls like Laura Anna right, like kind of closing
in on him a little bit. And let's have honest dialogue.

He didn't really have anything to do with Natalia's death.
I mean, I guess he kind of did because of
the burden on her. Maybe is he Okay, do you
blame Let's just cut to the chase. Do you blame
Sonny for Natalia's death?

Okay, that's a good answer, right, I mean, I mean
she was stressed, yeah, because of him? Did that cause
her to drink and take pills? I mean, and I
would say the strange relationship with Marco.

That's what everyone was saying. It was like strong stuff, yeah,

So I thought that that scene was sad. We talked
about it, didn't we say that One of those episodes
this week was dark man, it was dark. But I
thought the scene with with with Natalia dying. I was sad.
I felt bad for her because she was alone. She
was reaching out to Marco and he had a really
good strong week two. But I I found myself having

empathy for her. I look at she was not my
favorite character obviously, obviously, I mean one of the worst. Again,
where the writers just continue to fail is they bring
these weird, odd characters and these those just don't stick.
Lucky Natalia and I could. I'm going front, But I
found myself in a little sorry for when she when
she when she was lonely there and dying, what about you?

Yeah, that was sad.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
I mean that was sad. I mean, no one wants
to say somebody to die. And I thought, you know,
I read by the way the Spinelli and me did
some research. Eva Laru, who plays Natalia, said that basically
she wasn't testing well, said that people did not like
her character and the writers therefore were kind of forced
to it just didn't work out. After a year, they

couldn't pair her with Sonny R.

Yeah, she didn't.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
She didn't like her Blaze and her Marco, their lifestyle
and apparently I tell you people watch they they complained
The g H army is legit and the riders get older,
so they basically the bottom line is she just wasn't
very likable.

No, she wasn't.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
So what happens when characters are not very likable you
kind of just will you write them up for you
give them horse tranquilizers in vodka, or.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
You just kill them off in the hospital like Sam. Yeah.

Right, but Sam was likable. That's the big difference. And
to my point, you just brought it up. You get
rid of Sam, the most beloved, my Sam, marry her.

If you bring up the sunny point again, I will leave.

If you bring up like, oh they got rid of
Sam an Cyrus because of like for we leave because

because they let beloved characters go. So I mean, I

is a valid point. You didn't leave Okay, so it's
a valid point. So that is what it is. You
don't let beloved characters go for these rentals. So but uh,
really good stuff Sidwell this week man the villain. He

went from zero to one hundred real quick, like he
became like this new guy in town, not gonna mess
with anybody's business, and now kind of trying in his
own way to control Portrales. He's trying to control Portraals.
He had a very powerful I mean the we do
the good and the bad, and I'll do the bad.
Like that was a bad scene this week with him

and Wu Like I thought it was just it was
a weak scene, like mist de sid Well, I guess
I'll pack my bags and leave, like it was just
like one and done. Really right, he frames you? He
frames you, right, Mikey, he frames you. So I'm I
get I guess I let's you say, I have it
planed catch. Everything she says is so dramatic. So he
(07:54):
just got got rid of her, like really, now he's
running things. She's been in a fixture in Portrales for years,
in the family business mafia. So this guy comes into town, okay,
frames her for the fire. She has a relationship with
Sonny by the way, where she can go to him
and go, you were framed by Sidwell. I was framed
by sid When I think you know this right, Sonny
would agree because Sonny knows Sidwell did this. Yeah right,

oh yeah, I have it plane to catch like, okay,
he just ran you out of town. So I thought
that was just a really bad scene speaking of Sonny.
Focused on Sonny for a little bit, Josh wanting to
climb the ranks of the WSV to take down you know,
her stepdad. Interesting, she's got Sonny, now, she's got ven,

she's got revenge on the brain. She wants to take
down Sonny. Von goes, you want to rise up the
rank so you could take down Sonny?

She was, I do everyone wants to take down now.

It feels like I just I don't know, I don't
know what why, but I just hate her passion for

Britt gave birth to Rocco, so she was the surrogate

So yeah, so she's coming back. But she's a surrogate
and Brooklyn wants to really hold it against Lulu, but

to have a twin. It's got it better be Britt
because we love Emma. Would Emma call her the wicked
witch of the Westbourne?

There was some great lines this week and the bridge
hopefully is coming back. We had a fire this week
caused by Sidwell. Frame mean, whoa Sidwell getting very emotional
when he That was a great scene this week Sidwell
and Marco him him consoling his son like Sidwell is

an animal, is a gangster, but he's also like very
like he's he's really good like he was very emotional.
Just see how his lips were quivering in that scene.
And he thought maybe his son could have died in
the fire that he had set right, and he had
told the guy who set the fire, whatever, I told you,
no one, no one's got to be in the bar.
But they botched the job. He knows he's responsible.

Was that was before he found out Marco correct Yet
he found out that Christina.

He talked to his whoever, his executioner was, I told

he got that was a very good scene.

the fire. Yeah, it was a really good scene. It

know still with this Professor Dalton, Like again, I don't
know if we're just taking a breather. It like it
it It hasn't. It hasn't like there hasn't been no
momentum with that storyline, right, Dalton comes and goes, he's

Like we need more of that, We need more of
that because I don't want to see more of Vonn
and Joss going, you know, doing the investigating, but we
need more of the Dalton stuff. So I imagine that's
going to take take on a whole life onto itself
