Speaker 1 (00:04):
Yes, oh Man in Soap the Podcast, we are back
for another great week. And what a week. I mean,
you've got custody battles, you've got seduction, certain people leaving town,

(00:34):
so much good stuff. Blackmail. Oh, don't tell me, Summer's
not going to be dope on a rope in port
Charles right, good stuff. Ay, it's Chris Man is Soap Podcasts. Yeah,
we do it every week. Michael's going to be joining

(00:54):
us shortly, my partner in crime.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
And of course, so we are broadcasting. Actually we figured
it was time to get into the uh the Metro
court Pool. Yeah, it's time. We are broadcasting live from
the Metro court Pool. We're all the action is taking place, right,
all the planning, all the conniving. Oh god, there's Lulu.

(01:25):
Oh she just walked by. Ooof did you see that
look she just gave you and me? Michael, did you
see that death?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Clear? Is she she's not?

Speaker 1 (01:38):
In general? Yeah? Duck though, hang on there she goes,
Oh boy, okay, but she's there. There, she looks good.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
But also the deaths there.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Oh there it was. She looked at you a little
extra hard too.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, she knows.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I don't like that. Sorry, don't all right, yeah, well
there she Thank God, don't care? Okay anyway, Oh oh,
the good, the bad, and the end between is how
we do this podcast. We welcome Texas to the fray. Michael,
we got another state. It's always nice. We you see
different states that are listening to the podcast. Right, Oh yeah,

(02:19):
we got Texas into the fold. As we continue to grow,
Michael and I are super stoked we continue to grow.
Man and soap is you know again, I break it
down good bad, We break it down good bad in
between stuff. And I've been watching it my whole life.
If you're just joining us for the first time, you know,
cheerleader for the soap as well. Of course I've been
watching it. I mean with my mom. Got to wish

(02:39):
my mom was still here. She would love this soap.
She'd be one. My mom would want to be the
third host and she'd be great. She'd fit with Lois
and Brooklyn and Gloria. By the way, because my mom
was Italian from the Bronx. Can you hear oh great
from Michael? God, And my middle name is Michael, so
we'll never know if it's she's saying me Christopher Michael,
if she's saying you Christopher and Michael, we don't know,

(03:02):
but God, I miss your mom. She would have loved it.
M Yeah, we're cheerleaders for the soap, but we keep
it real. We have a lot of fun. You can
find us. Michael does a great job on the socials.
You can find us, Michael. We're on Instagram and Facebook, right,
just Man andso podcast and I did start a new
Reddit thread. Took me what nine days to figure out
how to Man and Soap pockets if you're on Reddit.

(03:23):
Michael is constantly on Reddit. He kind of turned me
onto the thread. The Reddit thread. I can't say chat
room because I sound like I'm ninety. He's right, he
also sounds creepy. I figured that out last week after
the podcast. I almost got took a personal You're like
you're old. I'm like, that sounds old and creepy. I
had had to walk back the chatter room.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
What is going on?

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Anyway? Michael turned me onto the Reddit thread. Man and Michael, am,
I right, they're legit on there. Reddit. You don't mess around.
You would think Facebook would be the go to, maybe Instagram,
but Reddit. I mean you're constantly on there. Michael's looking
up he's got the family tree up. And if you
have a chant, Michael, where can they find the family

(04:02):
tree for General Hospital? If people have questions, I know
I have questions sometimes throughout the podcast, where can they
find that? Can I post that on the Man in
Soap on Reddit as well?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Okay? I mean, oh, but can I post it on
our new thread? I mean the my new Man in
Soap on Reddit? We don't have it on there right, No,
but be good to have. We need some we need
some tread So where can they find you on Reddit
to post to watch that? Because this is a really
good detailed tree.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Shuts up on Reddit? I think it's uh my youth
name is like radio.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Archer Radio Archery. Yeah, I think so. And it's really good.
I had some questions last week. Can you impressed me
with something on that tree? I didn't think you had it? Oh,
before we get into the good the bad? What was
it I had about? Was it Kiki and Sasho or something?
I called you up during the week. I had heard
that Keiki and So and Will, kek and Will or
half sisters. Yeah, and you actually have that on the

(04:54):
family tree. That's impressive. That's impressive. We forget that Kiki
and Willow were half sisters. Because I saw something again
on Reddit. I'm like, Michael, did you know that Ava
is Willow's aunt? He's like, who cares? But nobody cares apparently.
But if you go to the family tree here radio
Archer on Reddit or Man and Soap Podcast, which I'll

(05:16):
put it up, the tree is unbelievable. And I think
you're still adding to it as well. Yeah yeah, right,
kind of because we never know. Everyone gets we find
out more relations on this soap. Every week someone is
related to somebody.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
So new adoptions, Yeah, what's that?

Speaker 1 (05:35):
New adoptions everything? Oh? Yes, so again? Follow us Manasap Podcast, Facebook,
Reddit and Instagram. The good, oh, there was so much
good this week, and of course the main storyline. Of course,
the main storyline was the custody battle. And I wonder,

(05:56):
I wonder. I know, we love the new Michael. He's great,
He's amazing, right, He's the shiny new toy. We love him,
we love him. Willow's become kind of polarizing because well,
she cheated on Michael and she cheated on Chase, I believe.
So she's become a little because she's Withdrew, which doesn't

(06:18):
help either, right, she cheated on Michael Withdrew. Were people
rooting this week in the custody battle? Michael? Will ask
you first? Were people rooting for? Did you have a
dog in this fight? For the custody battle? Were you?
Because I'm just curious, because you've been on here for
about fourteen thirteen, fourteen months now you've caught the hang
of it from a new point of view, Were you

(06:39):
pro Michael or pro Willow in the custody battle this week?

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Michael?

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Okay? Now why just out of curiosity? That is interesting?
You've been watching her for thirteen months? For you you
used to? Do you still like Willow? Or have you turned?
I don't like everything. It's hard to happen.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Liked her, but I never hear her.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
She's just met. Yeah, So why were you pro Michael
then for the custody battle?

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Because I don't like Drew?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Right? And that's that's a great point. It makes tell
me this, doesn't it make Willow hard? To have empathy
for Willow and the like her because of the Drew connection,
clearly because he's such a scumeback? Yes, okay, I agree.
So I think a lot of people and to Michael's
point of view. I think a lot of people were
pro Michael in the custody battle. I bet if we

(07:27):
did a poll and we can, we should we shall.
I think to Michael's point of view, people were on
Michael Carinthos's side to win the custody And here's the thing,
And this is good because this was a good this
was good court scenes. You had Diane and Rick just
going at it, bang bang bang bang bang. Here here's

(07:47):
the thing. If you watch the soap long enough, if
there were betting odds in Vegas, Willow or Michael. Maybe
there are, I don't know, but I would have bet
the farm on Michael because I know how the soap goes.
I've been watching it long enough. First of all, I
knew earlier in the week when Michael to Jason and

(08:08):
Carly and Sonny his father, I'm leaving town. I'm getting
out of the country if I lose custody. So right
then and there, I knew he wasn't going to lose.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
I would have paid to see that storyline.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Yeah, but it would have been But how would they
have done it? I mean, he's gonna be on the run,
and that's why I would have paid interesting? Interesting? Interesting?
But I knew did you kind of feel it too?
Like there's no way he's Did you get a feeling
all week even though you're rooting against Will? Was there
a part of you? There was a part of me
before that scene. I was like, going, she could actually
win custody. But then Drew is getting cocky and confident
all week. Oh We're gonna win, right, Like he just

(08:43):
felt like it was too obvious? Am I right?

Speaker 2 (08:45):
But also Cavin, who plays Drew kind he what he's
kind of spoiled the whole thing on on his Instagram?

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Oh did he really? Yeah? I wonder if you're allowed
to do that. What was the post? Like when you
saw the post, did you know immediately? Was this during
the week before the custody hearing was finished?

Speaker 2 (09:10):
It's like on Tuesday that's way early, or like Monday Tuesday,
way early? Yeah? What did you post? Someone posted? Uh
commented on was his post saying like, oh, I'm surprised,
like Drew isn't like trying to bribe a judge, right,

(09:33):
and he said like he agreed, like, oh he should
have done that, Oh he did not.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
So you think that kind of gave it away?

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yeah. He said something about, like, Sonny.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
You watched that, you saw that post thinking okay, we
already know. Yeah, yeah, that's interesting. That's what happens when
you follow these character you know, these actors in life.
So did you know the actor that plays Drew Cameron
is getting hate mail and threats? Of course in real
have you read that in real life? Like look at
he's a scumbag. But guys, let's remember. I mean, I
think it's real. I want to go to Bobby's for

(10:08):
uh for uh, you know, for for a bot. If
I'm gonna go to the hospital, I want to be
at gh If I'm gonna go to jail, I want
to stay at the Port Charles ChIL They look like
they have three hundred thread count sheets. They always have
a pillow with the jail. I want to go to
Penttentfield looks cozy. I bet you get fed like I love.
Don't tell me it's not real, don't ruin it. I
want to write the elevators. I have a friend in
La who listened to this podcast. He'll I'll go, I go.

(10:29):
Is that hospital real? The elevators? He doesn't know there
are people like literally doing the elevators. I'm like, no,
don't they're what they're they're they're firing off the elevators.
There's twenty fours at General Hospital. Don't tell me they're fake.
Bobby's exists, Peer fifty nine exists. I know the Brown
Dog exists because I was day trigging with my guy Cody,
who had a hell of a week. By the way,

(10:51):
that's just boring storyline.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
See now that Okay, okay, after after wait, after the
whole thing with Shasha, like I kind of that, and
after he outed Drew or yes, well in that bar
at the Brown Dog, he showed me worried Yea kicked
his ass.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
You think it's gone downhill?

Speaker 2 (11:14):
After that, his his characters shoy Lions have been going downhill.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Okay, I'm gonna stop fast. Okay, hang on, I'm gonna
do you want to do the store now? Michael, Hey,
it's gonna do it for you right now. I said
I wouldn't do it this week. I'm not. Okay, I'm
gonna disagree with you because I'm going to get into
the good you know, we'll get into the bad name between.
I want I want your take on this. So here's
the good we agree Michael wins custody. Right, that's that's good. Right.
I mean we we kind of we kind of wanted that, right.

(11:42):
We agree that we we wanted that we wanted Michael
to win the custody, right, so we agree that that's yeah,
that's good right for that absolutely. Okay, so that's the good.
So let me continue on the good. Michael wins custody
very good. We love the Diane Rick scenes, good court battles.

(12:05):
Christina Hiring Cody to seduce Ava is a great storyline.
And that's where if maybe the writers thought and they
listened to this podcast and they've heard us talk about
it before, and maybe they agree with you. Cody's storyline
is a snoozer. We need something now to make it interesting.
It just got interesting. It just got interesting. If Cody

(12:28):
seducing Ava is not interesting, I think it becomes a
very good storyline. And I'm saying this because you don't
remember I just showed you scenes of the old Morgan
Ava seduced Morgan. Ava likes She's like a little cougar.
She likes the young guys. Cody's good looking. I like it.
You don't think that's enough to spark your interest in
the Cody storyline seducing Ava and who looks By the way,

(12:50):
did I text you this week? Or I think I
texted Sonya, who did a great job. Last week, Ava
looked great. This week Ava was slaying it. You didn't
like her hat in the well? We did text You're like,
you didn't like her the metro. You didn't like her
over here with the hat on. Yeah, I think she
looks great. I think she owns it. She forgot her sunglasses.
It was an opening. I think it's good. I think

(13:12):
it's good that Christina's hiring Cody to seduce Ava. I
also think it's good, and I think you and I
will agree on this. I think it's good. Lucky is
out at town like bye bye now. I don't know
if anyone else caught this. I think it was the
end of was it Wednesday's episode on the train with
he and Aiden or the plane or was it Thursday?

(13:32):
Doesn't really matter. That episode was depressing, like she comes
up to the she's there and we're thinking, wait a minute,
wait for me, So she we thought maybe she'd be
with her luggage. Remember Lucky said that I thought you'd
be here, And he's with Aiden, who looks pretty much
close to the same age as like it. They look
like they're drinking buddies.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
I say, drinking pace by not the same age.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
They don't look like father at all now, and that's
been a knock on this Aidan. Right now, Michael, show
me the guy that plays Aiden's on his instagram. Guy's
a rock star. He's totally opposite of Aiden on his Instagram.
So when Liz said wait for me, did we all think, yeah,
Luggage time, she's running off, right, I mean we didn't
think she was gonna come there empty head and goes,

(14:15):
I just want to tell you I love you. Even
the kiss was boring, it was depressing. It was a
depressing end to a depressing comeback. And I'm so glad
Lucky's out of town. It's nothing personal. I said it
last week. I don't like adult Lucky. I love teenage Lucky,
the Lucky that we grew up with, but not not
not adult Lucky. And to Michael's point, he said it

(14:36):
could always be recast because Jonathan or Joshua Jackson whatever
he lives in Nashville, that is a character that they
could recast with a fresh face, and it might or
bring back Greg Vaughan. It could change our perception. I
just felt like, again, you're new to it, but you
don't remember so this Lucky, but it just ran its course.
Did you feel like the chemistry was just like a dud.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Yeah? I feel like what's gonna happen is that when
Aidan's not going to come back to Port Trials alone, okay,
being Lucky, the new Lucky, the new resurface, be cast
Lucky Okay, and Lucky will say like, oh, I had

(15:15):
such a good time with Aiden and to convince me,
he convinced me to hume back to Port Charles, to
stay here forever.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
To have a permanent fucking zip code. Yeah, because the
guy doesn't like to collect mail. Clearly. Ooh, that's a
very interesting take. Let's mark that down. Let's mark that down.
June fifteenth, Michael says Lucky will come back from Paris
or Africa wherever this adventure in the summer goes with Aiden.
He'll come back with Aiden, yep, but it'll be as

(15:47):
another Lucky.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yes. And the whole drama when he comes back is
that Rick and Elizabeth are going to be together.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Okay. Oh you know what, you know what I'll tell
you what for your takes, You're getting golf clubs for
that take. Those are good takes. I don't hate, by
the way, for the record, honestly, I don't hate any

(16:21):
of those, you know what I mean. I can see it.
I could see that because now Rick is going to
be so Rick is definitely going to be He's gonna
have hope because he's going to be the night in
Shining Armor. Because Lucky's gone. Ava is going to sleep
with Cody, and that might drive Rick away and maybe
to Elizabeth too. Right, there's a lot of scenarios that

(16:42):
do we agree that bring Rick back to Elizabeth. I
mean there's so many. Now, unlike you, I love the
Cody Ava thing. I have a take on it. I
think they could actually the scenes could be powerful and seductive,
and they can have enough chemistry to where it might
it could become a thing Cody and Ava, which came
out out of nowhere from Christina, who is her mind
is always moving, So that is interesting. Summer is definitely

(17:07):
going to be. Uh yeah. Also, I thought good stuff
at the end of the week, Drew and Jason meeting up,
Drew trying to make a deal. I don't know that
we do we know? Do we know what the deal is?
He said he wanted to cut a contract or something
from Michael. Did they cover that or is my brain lapsing?
Drew and Jason met at the end of the week
for a deal.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
I don't remember what the whole thing is like, he
because he's so in love with Willow. He went to
the realization after talking with Martin that he needs to
go leave the Willow so she could have a chance

(17:51):
to have to have contact with Carricades after.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Cltown, I thought that was an intense scene. I'm watching
it for a long time again and you're new, But
I don't know if you want this. I think a
lot of people have been watching General Hustl for for
a long time. I'd like to see Drew more scenes
with Drew and Jason because they're super intense. Don't you agree?
Oh yeah, all right, right, I mean even you know
you've been watching not that long, but you could tell

(18:18):
it's just their intense scenes' fighting. Oh they hate each other.
But we need more of that, Yes, we need more
of that as we continue on the good The park
is back. I said it last week. I didn't know
if it was gonna happen. This week, we got the park.

(18:41):
I don't think we got it once. I think we
may have got it twice this week, Michael, we got
the park back. I wonder if we're gonna get the
park with the Gregory plaque on there for the you know,
I forgot about that, remember right. I wonder if we're
gonna get that. But the park is back. Good stuff.
I love that the park is back. As we continue

(19:03):
to go over this, Oh my god, this week was
another week full of bangers. Some of the bad. I'll
lead off with this. Cody seducing Ava is bad. I
say it's good at the same time I say it's
bad because guess who's gonna get a hold of that?
Oh Molly? Ah, Cody, you dumb, dumb, great guy to

(19:29):
party with, But my god, what are you doing? You
sleep with Ava? It's over with Molly? And what have
I been saying? Who I want is a couple together
this summer is Cody and Molly. I think that would
pretty much end it. Oh. Some of the stuff also
some of the bad this week. I thought it was
hard to watch Willow as much as we rooted for

(19:50):
Michael to get custody. I thought it was hard for Willow.
It was hard to watch Willow in that scene. What'd
you think of that? Right? Good? Acting like it was
very her.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Hearts of the week.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
I would agree. I would definitely agree it was the
performance of the week. And it was very hard. Uh,
it was, it was really hard. This just continues to
be bad. I gotta keep it down because she's over there.
But Lulu being selfish to the end, telling brook Lynn
on Friday, I'm never gonna apologize. You look at her

(20:25):
scaleface right now. She has it right now. Look there,
she's scowling. She just looked at us. Her scenes continue
to be painful. They're they're they're painful. I mean, her
brother left town. Nobody cares. But am I the I
mean they're hard. Her scenes are hard. Like it, there's nothing.

(20:45):
Tell me something good about Lulu, huh gonna be here
while yeah a lot? Tell me something redeeming about her.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
I guess she's a good mom. I guess she's a
good PI.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Kind of she's not even more of a journalist, but
she I mean she uncovered it. That's about it. Sorry, Yeah, yeah,
I mean those scenes just to be continue the just
continue to be painful in the worst recast to me
in general hospital history. So there was some bad this

(21:23):
week also, I think, Michael, I want to run this
bay the bad. I don't know if they decided to
stay away from it because we were on emotional overload
last week. Where was Sasha and Daisy this week?

Speaker 2 (21:37):
You just in the hospital and being a new mom.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Yeah, we get one scene of they didn't get one scene.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
The actors get paid a lot of money for.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
The baby in this case, but did we see Sasha
and Daisy once this week?

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Now?

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Very odd? Well, but when they dip, they dip. Geo dips,
Sasha dips.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
If you take the timeline, all of this week happened
to what one two days?

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Yeah, yeah, that's a good I know we're digging in
real life here. Well okay, I'm thinking in soaproper time though,
like it's like two days. Yeah, I guess, but for
me it's like yeah, but it was weird though that
we still didn't see them at all this week. But
to your point, if it's in whatever reality time, I
don't want to live in reality reality time.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
It's a week, but in like soaproper a time.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
It's two days, so you think they were going on that, yeah,
you know, which is why we didn't see. I just
still thought it was a little it was a little weird,
you know, stuff in between this week that I thought
was interesting. Why didn't Michael at the park before the custody?
Why didn't he have Wiley mentioned Drew to Willow in

(22:57):
the park? I saw this brought up on one one
of the threads. Is it because maybe he feels like
he'd be exploiting Wiley He didn't want to drag him
in the drama, and Michael's hoping that Willow will have
common sense to be like, Drew actually did say that,
you know, in front of him, that he know that
Michael no longer wants him and his sister. I thought
that was interesting. Could Michael have done that with Wiley

(23:20):
at the park? Here? Tell your mom what Drew said?
Or would that have been on Michael, like.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Basically on Michael Like, yeah, I think probably basically also
explaining her because I'm pretty sure if that happened, she
would be like, oh, what did your dad tell you
to tell me?

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Right right? Right? Yeah, that's a good point. And really,
this whole fallout really probably is a result of Nina
and Drew in this whole custody case. They are major
players in this. Andrew pulling the ultimate dick move at
the hospital on his feat spur of the moment. I

(24:02):
am going to I see Wiley right there. I'm gonna
be like, yeah, well, Michael said, he doesn't want you know,
Wiley and his sister. What a degenerate dick move. And
I absolutely loved it. I loved it because what have
we been saying for weeks about Drew? Is he the
new villain?

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Is that what a villain does? Yes? Yes, he's checking
the boxes of a villain. He's dragging the kid into it.
He's like, fuck it, don't care, I'll do whatever it takes. Right, Yeah,
that's a villain. It's a dick move. And I am
going to applaud that. Yeah, I'm gonna applaud that move
from Drew. Yeah it's not cool, but we need villains

(24:42):
and that's what villains do. They're dicks. I've got a
couple alert this. I don't know if this is a
hot take or if this is just a res I mean,
they've got great chemistry. Michael, I'm gonna ask you these
two have great chemistry in their scenes together. There is

(25:06):
a slight age difference. Who is it?

Speaker 2 (25:13):
If you say Ava, I'm just gonna leave the well.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Ava and Cody I think are gonna be seducted. No, no, no,
but I'm talking couple alert. Who do you think I
got a Turner and Sonny? No? I mean I say
that long term. We'll get to that in a minute. No,
you know what it is for me and I love
them together and they both need somebody. Yeah, there's an
age difference, but it doesn't matter in soaps. Tracy and Martin.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Great together?

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Am I right? Tell me? I mean we know they
have chemistry together. Am I the only one that can
see them as a couple? Because she's gonna hire him.
She fell in love for Gregory, who was a younger man,
probably the same age as has Martin. Martin's back, Lucy
did him dirty? They got great chemistry. Can you see it?
Can you see it?

Speaker 2 (26:04):
I feel like you're just reaching for the stars and
sing and thinking, like everyone he needs to have a part.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
I said that last week. It's okay to be single.
But I'm just saying if there's gonna be a couple
or fair I did say.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
That because Tracy is one of those characters that.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
Doesn't need, doesn't need. Yeah, she had Luke.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
Yeah, but like that was like what fifty years ago.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
No, it was more like six five six years ago.
But yeah, No to your point, but if they were
to pair them together, I would say this, it wouldn't
be the end of the world. I mean I said
this last week. We do we do like our couples.
It's okay to be single. But I mean they they
they've got some really good chemistry. Circling back to Natalia,

(26:51):
do uhy? Natalia to d Ui, she's got two dewies
under her belt. Sonny is frustrated with her. He wants
to send her to belize. Is the old mob boss
mentality gonna come back? Is he gonna have her whacked
if she accepts, Because you remember he said to Jason,

(27:13):
she's becoming a real problem. Now the old Sonny would
have had her whacked. We're due for a good mob hit.
She's a perfect candidate to be whacked.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
I mean she is, she is.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Do you think he's gotten soft enough to where he
really wants her to believee and he'll protect her and
give her a good life. He gave her the whole speech.
Or do you think maybe if she does go, this
could be the end of her Although her and Marco's
now are starting to get close. What's your take on
that need a good whack.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
I think she's just gonna goal.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
You don't think he'll whack her now?

Speaker 2 (27:48):
I mean the new character that's coming in. They have
to pay her somehow.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
So uh yeah, from One Life to Liver?

Speaker 2 (27:59):
No, no, like the mom the the one that we're
talking about. Yeah, no, no, the one that has to
the UI. Oh if she has to go so they can.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Pay Kelly Thibodeau from britt And that's true. You're seeing
a lot of characters leave. They're also bringing back an icon.
I don't watch One Life to Live, but I think
I don't know if you saw this woman who's friend
I don't remember even the soap? Is it all my children?
When I don't know? You guys would know better than they.
She's coming back to Portoles on a short term contract.
So to Michael's point.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
That's they have to pay that contract.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Sure do they? Sure do? We don't know what role
she's gonna play. Tracy didn't mention the icon Erica Kane
Susan Luci this week. I thought that was a good
homage to uh.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Still live.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
So it's okay, now there we go tie again. This
is where the writers just fuck it up. Tell me
when they did the Monica memorial or whatever, the tribute
to her the wing at General Hospital? Was that not
a perfect out? I know, the storylines were still good. Whatever.
Couldn't we have done the memoriam for Leslie Charleston there?

(29:14):
Or did they do it and we both completely missed it?
Wasn't that a perfect out? By the way, wasn't that
They're perfect shot dedicated to Leslie Charleston? My god? I
mean the writers just continue to amaze me and now
listen in bad way. But they've been very good lately too,
so I know I harp on it, but I'm waiting

(29:35):
for the Monica tribute episode and we have not gotten that.
As she's still alive upstairs, it's like, yeah, making decisions
and that's gonna be sad when they do. I mean,
she'll be dead three years by the time they freaking
write her off on Yeah, my god, I guess they

(29:57):
could kind of milk it as as we go. All right,
so what are we looking for? You know. I thought,
also real fast before I get into that. My guy
Cody had a phenomenal week. There was a lot of Cody,
a lot of Cody he had. He had some bangers, man.
I mean when he was meeting with with Christina and

(30:17):
he's like, how's old uncle Ricky? Like, he had some bangers. Oh, hi,
Molly's sister. That was a great banger. I mean, a
great banger of a line. He just had great lines.
Who's getting codied was my favorite lie, I need you
to seduce somebody. He goes, Who's getting codied? And he goes,
oh that was bad. It was so good. Cody had

(30:39):
a great week. We had the most Cody we've seen
ever since he landed in the damn pool in that parachute.
Cody had a great week. I'm excited about idea of
Cody and Ava this summer. I really am. Hello Molly's sister,
he was so good. I know it does nothing for you.

(31:00):
Whatever Ava's doing, she looks great. I mean, how about
the line of the week. Remember Michael telling Willow, I
want you to remember this moment. This is the moment
you could have ended things, but you refuse. That was
a powerful line.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
I feel like that has been said multiple times.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
Yeah, but but for Michael this week, that was pretty powerful.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Guess I feel like Carly use that no you no
doubt about it. I feel like she she probably did,
like word for word, you're not you're not you're not wrong.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
Uh, what a great week? What a great week? Summer
is upon us? What are we looking for next week?
Are you hearing anything? Are you what's your take on
some things for next week that you'd like to see happen?
I want to see this Chase Dante tension is it's

(31:58):
getting And here's question, who's your fault? Should Dante or
should Dante be as mad as he is? No? Okay,
you think Chase has a right because Chase, what did
Chase say? I don't tell my wife.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
What to do.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
But Dante can be angry, right, he feels a little
bit traited. But is he getting Dante carried away again?
You know Dante gets carried away?

Speaker 2 (32:16):
You know he is like he like, oh he's you
could have told me, Like Chase says, like, no, because
that's betraying my wife. Oh yeah, man up, and like
tell me, I'm like, but also, if he's gonna be
the bigger man in the conversation. Then he's respecting his

(32:37):
wife and her wishes.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Right. It's gonna be interesting how that plays out because
Anna's got to play commissioner now, and it's a ship show.
It's a ship show because even though they said this
guy he's got my back and you know he's watching
my life. It's gonna be very interesting to see the
two alpha's coming, you know, into the police.

Speaker 2 (32:52):
They were just in real life then that that tension,
like they would say, like, okay, you're we're gonna get
you guys new partners, right, Like you guys can't work
together anymore. I don't care how good you are working together.
Could they give you new partners?

Speaker 1 (33:11):
I I don't think you're wrong there, I don't think.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
But yeah, that's in real life. So in h it's
gonna be like a two week played out thing.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Oh, two three weeks, Michael, have you not watched eight
months to a year? The thing to go on? Who
knows the rifle? We can go on? There are so
many things.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Yeah, but they're still gonna they're still gonna be partners
in that eight months year thing. Oh and and like no,
we we haven't talked about how Geo told Rocko like, oh, yeah,
I don't have anything to do with your dad.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
Don't tell me that that was a good scene, like
he he said, well, this is when he was pumped
up for a second there and then he goes, hey, listen, kid,
don't expect me just to walk in like right and
be like I have a brother. I get it, but
this is gonna take me a while. Now. Rocco wants
a brother really bad. You can say that that and
that that was the one Geo scene. Really we got
all this.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
Week now and and Geo was pumped up, pumped up
for that until he mentioned or Rocco, uh contact Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
He was like this is the best news, like he okay,
we're gonna hang out and then the wall.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
I'll make sure I tell my dad or our dad
that like to like lay off on you, you know, something
like and you're not wrong to being a completely changed
and like, no, I don't want anything, but how about
we just say fans.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
And I think he did it in a cool way,
still like they're going to be brothers at some point.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Yeah, they're like that the sea was the seed is there?

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Yeah? No, the seed has been planted Geo's got a
lot to process Brooklyn and Lulu. I mean, there's this,
there's there's a lot of process. There's a lot of uh,
you know, obviously a lot of clearly a lot of fallout. Obviously.
You know, we're gonna have to figure out how that's
gonna You know, what are you expecting for next week? Anything? Anything? Good?
Ava Cody? Of course, there'll be more seeds planted there.

(35:16):
What happens with Sonny? To tell ya, what do we
got g you?

Speaker 2 (35:19):
I want to see what's gonna happen with Willow?

Speaker 1 (35:24):
Oh, absolutely, we're gonna get Yeah, we're locked in with Michael,
Willow and Drew. Does Willow leave Drew? Let's let's do this.
Does Willow leave Drew next week?

Speaker 2 (35:33):
No, she's not, but she but he's gonna tell her
he's leaving her, and she's gonna feak out again, freak out,
and then I feel like she's gonna get sent to
a psych Uh. Yeah, he's gonna she's gonna be admitted.
When Drew says like she's.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
Gotten nothing, I think Michael could come to the rescue
there and give her leniency with the children. Though, because
Michael even said the end of the court immediately want
to see that reaction from her. She was definitely the
performer of the week, by the way, so great job.
Willow was a Catherine mccum. Whatever it is was amazing.
But you know, yeah, I mean I think that I

(36:15):
think that you're not wrong. That would be a crazy storyline.
Oh yeah, they would go to that where's that they
all go to that mental hospital? I forgot it? Oh,
I forgot it. Dang it night something where they all
they they've all been. There's there is a mental ward there. Yeah,
you're right, I could see it. You've got some hot
takes to this. Cody Ava, Michael Willow, Drew is Sonny

(36:41):
really gonna could he whack? To tell you? We got
good stuff happening. We're gonna have more Metro Court pool scenes.
This place is gonna be by the way, This thing
is gonna be bumping, don't you think all next week?
This pool is gonna be bumping all week long. The
brown dog will be bumping. To believe me, Go down
there and get yourself a beer. What's gonna happen with

(37:03):
Portie and and my guy Curtis. I feel like their
marriage is on serve right now. There's some issues there
like and and Curtis is not being very forgiving, like
he's tough. So we're gonna see it's all gonna play out.
