Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yes, Man and Soap Biz bad. Oh we got the
Metro Court Pool is heating up. Battle on the Diamonds

(00:21):
Softball tournament in my favorite park. Weird stuff with Sasha
and Michael's baby Daisy. Someone's hovering over Daisy. What's going
in for Charles Oh, Man and Soap the Podcast. Hey,

(00:42):
thanks for hanging out. Appreciate you. You can find us
guys Instagram, Facebook, Man and Soap Podcast easy to find.
We appreciate all your supporters. We broadcast live. Yeah, we're
from the Metro Court Pool. Michael. We may have to
start broadcasting from the park soon because there's a lot

(01:04):
going on. Can we I think we should, but we'll
keep it at the pool this week. Okay, Oh speaking
to Michael. Look at there he is. Look at Michael
elf there he looks good with the shirt off. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Look at his breath underwater.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah, look at Michael looks ripped. It looks great.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
It's up, I mean he had yeah, the surgery looks great.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
He looks great. Yeah. Yeah, and here's the thing. I'm
going to get into that in a little bit. But's
a Michael look good. Thank you, Bruh. Thanks for hanging out. Yeah,
find us again, Instagram, Facebook, Man and Soap podcast. We
have a lot of fun. I've been following this soap

(01:51):
my whole life, started watching with my mother when I
was younger. I'm just it's just it's my soap. Like
it's not mine, like I my soap specifically, but it's
my go to soap, right, it's the only soap I know.
Cheerleader for the soap would also kind of keep things
real as well as we break down, and this podcast

(02:12):
is really super easy, guys. Here's how we do it.
We don't do anything really episodically. Sometimes we'll name drop
a specific day of the week in which something happened,
but it's just we kind of break down the good,
the bad, and the in between and just keep kind
of keep it simple. And there was just a lot
of stuff this week going on. I feel like we
got a lot of It was like a like a

(02:35):
weird mixed bag of goods for me, Michael especially. Yeah, yeah, absolutely,
it was like a mixed bag of goods. Like there
was just a lot going on. Like we've been heavy
with the Michael and the Willow custody battle like the
previous couple of weeks, and right like in all the fallout,

(02:58):
But I felt like this past week it was just
like a lot of everything almost, Like you got a
lot of KaiA and Trina, You're getting a lot of Drew.
You're still getting a lot of Willow. You're getting Lulu,
you're getting Brooklyn, You're getting Chase, You're getting you know,
you're getting Drew and Jason scenes, which I love. We'll

(03:19):
get into that. You're getting Christina, right, You're getting Cody,
You're getting Ava. Like this week I felt like was
the broadest week we've had, like in the last few weeks.
I don't know about you, but I felt like we
got a lot of everybody this week, right, I mean,

(03:42):
we had conversations by the pool, We've got Marty and
Tracy going at it. I mean there was just a
lot of stuff this week, and a lot of good
stuff too, by the way, a lot of good stuff.
Can I just say that everything Drew touches turns to dust?
Like what is going on lately? Like he promised Willow

(04:05):
she was basically going to get her kids, it didn't happen.
He basically promised Kai the surgery is gonna work, or
at least kind of hinted that it would, it didn't.
So Drew is like he's on this like fall from Grace.
I feel like there's a fall from Grace happening, if
that makes any sense, right, Like he's just in free fall.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
He's been in fall for the past like six months.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Well we thought that until the end of Friday. And
I don't like the lead with the with the bad
but the bad is Willow's gonna marry him? What oh
bad bad, just the brainwashing? Michael continues, Doesn't it just.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
A good line, the line of the week, Like what'd
she say? That won't happen because you and I are
going to be married tomorrow morning or Friday morning by
the visitation, yeah thing, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
They're in play for the kids, and I don't think
it's gonna work either way. But I I thought that
was really bad. I thought this week was weird. We
had I'm gonna drop an episode here. I normally don't,
but on Thursday's episode, I don't know if anybody noticed this.
The lighting was very weird on the show. I don't

(05:27):
know if General Hospital didn't pay.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Their bills TV.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
No, No, I don't think so. I don't know, maybe,
but no, there was weird lighting the whole show. Anna
had some weird lighting on her. Sasha I had some
very dark lighting on her with the baby, but maybe
that's by design. Because someone's hovering over Daisy clearly, what's
your take on that? Who could that be? What's going
on with that? That's some weird stuff going on?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Or her evil twine right now?

Speaker 1 (05:56):
That's wait, do you know they're gonna be twin?

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Well, everyone knows that she has a twin.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Who has a twin?

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Great Grett has a twin and everything. Everyone thinks that she's.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Got my god, Sasha's twin as no BRIT's Britt's twin.
But why would she be hovering over Daisy? Though? I
don't know, that's my question, Okay, right, someone's hovering over Daisy? Why? Well?

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Also why why I don't get Brooklyn so insistent on
finding out Rocco's two parents? Yeah, if if, if he
has two parents?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I don't know. Well, some of the good this week,
I like Chase and Dante in the jail soo hashing
it out. I don't know whether they really hashed it
out or not. But right I don't feel like the
situation is still fluid and I don't know whose side
to take. I'm gonna be completely honest. I am torn.
I think on more team Dante. I'm not a big

(07:09):
fan of Chase period, so I'm gonna gravitate towards Dante.
I think Chase did Dante a little dirty. He there
could have been a way where he could have commuted that.
You remember that line and he goes, well, you take
care of your wife, but you stab take You have
her back, but you stab mine. Very good line by Dante. Like,
I feel like Chase could have done more to please
his wife and also to take care of Dante in

(07:31):
the meantime. I assume they'll work it out or is
this not is it not workable?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
You know?

Speaker 1 (07:41):
I thought that was a really good scene. There were
also really good scenes this week. I like that, and
I'm the first to harp on her. I like the scene.
It was her best moment since she's been on the show.
I think you can agree or not or disagree. I
thought Lulu with Geo at the pool was a good scene.

(08:05):
It was Lulu's most likable moment. Like I like when
she says, my delivery needs a lot to be desired.
She ain't wrong. I thought that was a good moment
for Lulu. She doesn't have many of them, let's freaking
be let's be honest, right. I thought that was a
good moment with the way she handled and she talked

(08:29):
with Geo, because it could have gone one way and
instead it kind of went opposite of where I thought
it was gonna go. So I thought that was a
good moment for her. More good stuff this week. I love,
of course Professor Dalton in this caper that we're dealing with.
What's going on in that what's really going on in
that lab? I think the rumor is maybe animals, animal testing.

(08:53):
I don't know what the heck's going on. We don't know,
but I like that Vaughn and Joss were making out
in Professor Adults of It. I thought that was a
good moment. And then she kissed them again in the
metro course, like you brought this on? So now is
this the gateway to them being a couple.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I think they're gonna be, uh the secret couple who
end up falling for each other.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yeah, well, they're gonna be working close. Now they gotta
pretend like they're kissing, they're making out. Of course, it's
gonna get real.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
John hospital all seeing that movie.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Yeah, no, we've all seen that movie. You're not wrong,
You're not wrong. So I thought that was some really
good this week. I thought that there was just a
lot of good, good stuff. Sands the weird lighting. I
love that, which perplexed me because I was on my notes.
I wanted to say, I love it. I love that.

(09:47):
Willow told Drew this week, you're the reason why the
judge took my kids away from me. I don't see
why how marrying you it's going to help bring them back.
Clearly she's kind of recanted that because they're getting married.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Because I just don't know how, like them being married
is gonna fix all the problems.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Well, I think the main thing is they want the
custody of the kids, right.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
I don't know how that's gonna get them custody of
the kids because just because they're married.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Well it might look favorable in front of the judge.
They just what they're looking if they present a united front. Correct.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Well, yeah, but that's what I think. I don't know
how the voces work in intensive with the kids. So
it's like, if they get custody of the kids, obviously
jew is gonna want to them to move to d C.

(10:48):
How does that work with Michael? How does that work
in the eyes.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Of the right No, No, I don't know. It'll be interesting.
I think Michael's got a firm control on this. I
think that Drew is in complete free. I loved Okay,
I loved Drew and Jason. Love that scene. I said
last week, I want more scenes with Drew and Jason,
and we got the start of the week. We got
a good scene with him, very intense. Those two are
never going to be brother, there's no brother. We loved

(11:14):
going on there. I like I like Geo's response to
Lulu as well, when she said her delivering a lot
of work. I think he said something the effect like, well,
it may hurt like hell, but at least it's real.
That was what he said to her. That was a
very honest response and one of the best, one of
the best lines of the week.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
I think I feel like Dio is the only person
on lulu'sa side.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Yeah, you think maybe he might be upset, but it
doesn't appear to be really upset about it.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
No, because he I think he him. It's like she
wasn't the one two lies. He's the one that found out,
But I think the only thing he was mad about
was like, why didn't you tell dance to like to
find me or something? Right? Yeah, like why do you
tell me when you found out?

Speaker 1 (12:03):
And I thought this week was a really good week,
but then it was also just the weird stuff with
like the the Daisy drama. It was kind of weird,
Like I felt like the whole past week was super light.
Lucas and Marcos getting to know each other, Marco getting
to know each other. You know the gangs at the park.
You got to Corino's coffee. I want to play for

(12:24):
Corinal's coffee. Who's your team? B? I think I'm Coriental's cofee.
I gotta play. Really won't play for Sunny?

Speaker 2 (12:29):
I think, oh yeah, unless unless they have Q.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Yeah, well this Q.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
I don't want to play for book Lynn at all.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Is that the team deception? Or is that I don't
know where the team is? I don't know session be
a fun team though they need some guys though, they
need a guy that can, They need some dudes that
can play.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Probably right they have I'm Pacer Max Lucas.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Lucas Lucas could that's true, he could recruit Marco. They
had a good moment. I like the line that Lucas said,
our parents gave us life, but that doesn't mean we
owe them ours. We get to live in a way
that makes us happy. So there are some good lines
from the writers this week. I have a thought on
where they completely failed and I'll talk about that in
a second. But yeah, I thought there was a lot
of week. And I'm starting to think too, by the way,

(13:23):
the more I think about it, I think Christina is
batshit crazy. Now. I'm always their first to defend her,
but I'm starting to think, man, or maybe I'm late
to the party. Maybe I'm just now figuring it out.
Like I love her, but I'm like, man, she really
is all over the place, Like she's just everywhere. I mean,
and Liz gave her a lashing this week, which I

(13:44):
thought was absolutely, by the way, appropriate, But Christina is
a little all over. There's a little cuckoo. I feel
like she's my kind of cuckoo.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
I like her that. I think that's why you're just
thinking now.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Like everyone else, I know, I'm gonna deny nowhere. I'm like,
I see it. I'm like, no, I see the good,
I see the good Nerve clearly like, no, she's not
that crazy. I'm like, I'm starting to think now a
little off. Yeah, she's a little off. Oh yeah, you know,
I'm just I know, I'm a little I'm a little
I'm a little late to the party. Did on that?
I agree? I agree with that.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Did Les and Rick ever talk about that? Was like, oh,
she was here for something else?

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Yeah? No they didn't really. I don't know that they
addressed that, because I remember Rick walks in and goes,
Liz be goues, I know what you're doing. Lucky's gone.
Now you're hear me. He's like, I'm not here for
that at all.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Oh he is, Yeah, of course, right, yeah, yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
So I I mean, there was a lot I like,
and I love I do, I love, I love, I
love the softball story at this time of the year.
Brings us the park, it brings us the Metro Courtpool,
it brings us the softball annual battles and all of
the shirts and the hats and all the colors and
all of the underlying drama that goes with it. Like
I love a da Turner and my guys, Sonny, what

(15:03):
did I say? Three weeks ago. I said it that
they need to get together. They have great chemistry. You
saw it in the park.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
If the riders screwed this up, I'm gonna buy a
one way ticket to LA and I'm just gonna raid
that studio and be like, I'm here to take over
the writing because you better put those two together, give
them a chance.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Good. Sonny's good innately, he's a good person, but he's
a gangster versu an Adya. Let's go with an Ada.
Let's go, let's go, let's pair them up. Throw it
against the wall. See if it sticks. You know what
I mean? Yeah, put it against a wall. Sonny needs something.
Sonny looks great lately. His leading man days are clearly

(15:46):
out over. Put them together. Her and Adya Turner, which
is Sidwell's real life wife. How about Sidwell and Sonny's conversation. Boy,
the tension there you can cut with a knife. This week,
I think Sonny. Just when I thought Sonny was gonna
back down a little bit, he didn't.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
I don't know, like he he wants to sell this here,
but for some reason, well it's just being not a
dick about it, but like being what's a word, He's
just being so.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Well, he's being manipulatd of Cal. He's a plot under there.
You don't want to, you know, fuck with Sunny Corinthos. No, sorry,
you just don't. Don't don't do that. I mean, that's
not You're not gonna and I like it. Also, Jason's
been very since he's come back to the show, and
you've also seen something. He's very emotional. He acts with
hus like, he's very like he's a dad. He's tried

(16:50):
to right thing he just lost, you know, or Sam
was in his life. But you saw what Stone Cold
could be like when he was with Jason, when he
was with Drew this week, right, you saw I don't
fuck with me man, don't fuck with my family, don't
fuck with Michael's kids. Because he was looking at like
Drew like he wanted to kill him. Like you saw
the old Jason come out there. You don't remember the

(17:11):
old Jason so much, but you saw a tough Jason
this week on General Hospital. I mean that was a
really I mean that that was a great scene. I
think here's something that I think where I don't know
if it's bad or if it's just something in between.

(17:32):
They missed the mark with Michael. Here's the deal, because
when you told me earlier in the week there Michael
took his shirt off at the pool, What was the
first thing I asked you? And he looks great over there.
I'm looking at him right now, But what was the
first thing I asked you? When you said Michael went
shirtless at the Metro here at the pool, what I asked?

Speaker 2 (17:52):
If he had any scars?

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, here's the deal. We're not all Rhodes scholars. We're
not all dumb either. Like for a guy that had
sixty percent of his body burnt, I think General Hospital

(18:14):
could have added something. Now they added makeup to cover
up his tattoo on his right arm because I followed
it on Instagram. Why not add a couple little things
to remind us right of the incident that took place.
I know he went to a burn clinic in Germany,
clearly a great burn clinical, clearly the best, because there's
not one scar on that body. But they could have

(18:37):
left a couple of scars, burnt, some red patches, something,
just to remind because he looks perfect, it's almost too perfect,
and here's writing the writers fuck it up, Like, add
a little something to make us remember that he was
in he was.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
A burn victim, was does e.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
I don't know. We don't see Ava in a way
that we see Michael, but probably not. I'm gonna assume
that burn clinic is perfect. Yeah, so I'm gonna assume
they eliminate one hundred percent burns, but not even one
sign of anything, not one sign of fire. But Michael,
we're not gonna see Ava shirtless unless we're watching another
soap that's another network maybe, But you've got to do something.

(19:18):
You've got to give a little bit. It's almost like,
come on, yeah, he looks great, we get it. What
freakin' like something as a reminder, be like, okay, so
we remember it's it's it's it's it's not a trigger.
But it's like, so we know, yeah, Michael was in
that burn. He'll still look great with nine thousand burns
on him. He looks great anyway, but throw a couple

(19:41):
of burns on there in the makeup. I just thought
that was a little odd. I thought Kai getting the
bad news that was really bad. He was really pumped up.
Drew sold him this bag of goods and I know
you're burnt on Kai and Trina. I am too, is
it time? Like where can that story go?

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Nowhere?

Speaker 1 (20:02):
Nowhere? Where the hell can it go? Like it's really
bad right now, Like.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
We's gonna go and then where even if he could
play football, we're gonna We're gonna like yeah, yeah, Kai
throughout the whole college football season being a good quite bad, right.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
But where does it go? Like where do human Trina go?
Like I feel like if you had to pick, they'd
be on a short they'd be on a short list
behind you know who that I think needs to go.
Lulu again, just nasty face all week. Accept the scene
with Accept, the scene with Geo h just sovengeful and

(20:52):
so nasty. I don't know how she's gonna stay in town.
I mean, you can't ender There's there's no chemistry with
her and Dante. It's over now. For a second there
she was hanging out with my guy Isaiah. I started
to get a little nervous there. I'm like, please, don't
do that. Don't rule in Isaiah, don't do that, don't

(21:14):
ruin Isaiah.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Well he's single now, so I know he is.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
They got to pair him with somebody.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
And he has a cabin is yeah, lucky you gave him.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Oh that's right. So okay again, Okay, so let's play matchmaker.
Who are you pairing Isaiah with? Please don't say Lulu?

Speaker 2 (21:37):
I mean, my god, at this point.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
I mean, you think they're laying the groundwork for that.
I know he has chemistry with really does. I met
him with Liz. He's so tall though she's she's so pott.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
Lizie Liz. There's Lulu. There's what else?

Speaker 1 (21:57):
You know, what if Cody and Molly don't work, there's
Molly because I think Cody's gonna screw that up, like
he screws up everything, you know what I mean. Like
we were talking about that the Brown Dog a couple
weeks ago. He was he was opening up, you know, man,
and so brought to you by Bobby's, go get the

(22:17):
best bot in Port Charles. This summer.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
I needed etah, I haven't eaten, haven't had a lunch, aguins,
so I need something.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
So we appreciate Bobby's. So go down there and get
yourself a good bot. I think they'll give us a deal.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Yeah, just mention man soap, you'll get a twenty fiercent
off your next order.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
I don't know if they're gonna be that generous maybe,
but yeah, now they do. There's they're a proud sponsor
of Man and Soap at least for this week until
we screw something of it. But we appreciate Bobby's coming
on board. So it's nice, go down and get a
bot when we're done. Yeah right, so uh yeah, but Isaiah,
it's like, I you compare him with anybody to your point,

(23:04):
I mean, you're not wrong. You're not wrong anything that
you observed this week that you you have some you
have some interesting uh interesting takes on stuff from from
from this week. Vaughn looks good wet, No, he does.
He looks good get out of the pool. I was like, god, dang,
I won't look that good. Okay, here's Harry's perk. He's

(23:25):
got good wet hair, like he's got good pool hair.
Him and Joss had a good moment. I like their chemistry.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
By the way, Yeah, I think no. There was there
was one line a couple of weeks ago that Drew
said he was I think he was talking to Barton
or or Barden and Tracy let's go or reck and
he said like, oh, Michael is some Cordy Maine. He

(23:50):
won't stop until he has everything. But he's also a
Cory Main. He's doing what he's saying coy means do
and he doesn't like yeah he's who said that?

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Oh yeah, of course, Well come on, he's freaking all
over the place.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah, he's he he's an argument against Michael is like, oh,
he's a Chord Main. He won't stop until he has everything.
That is what Ju is doing right now. And because
he is also a Chordmain.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Yeah, I know. Well by name. Again. I like Tracy
and Martin great chemistry. Again. I like her line when
he comes to the house, She's like, well, I see
you got my invitation, you're on time. Prison taught you punctuality.
That's such a great Tracey Cortervate like, that's such a
great No.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
That was a great line for her.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
And then when Martin goes, well, you know where to
find me, she goes, yeah, in line selling plasma. So
there were some really good singers uh this week. Again,
I think those who continue to show a lot of
great chemistry, you know. Uh, yeah, I'd like I'd like
to see them get pair if we're gonna pair.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
I like Emma and Vaughan. I like, I don't know,
I feel like Anna's kind of in flux right now,
Like I don't know, she's kind of just wandering. Like
I thought her and Brennan were gonna be together at
some point, maybe a couple with that's not happening clearly
because Brendon and Carly we got we got Jack Brennan
back briefly this week, Like what do you do with Anna?

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Like?

Speaker 1 (25:24):
I love Anna, and it's like we talked about, Sonny's
days are definitely not over being a leading man because
he looked handsome all week, look great. He's got great
chemistry with Ady Eh Turner. I think they are aesthetically
they look great together optics wise. Who if you were
to is there someone out there for Anna?

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Who? Who? Well, he's gone, it's Valentine. He's not the
damn show. No who don't say Professor Dalton?

Speaker 2 (25:50):
No?

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Oh, who don't say Sidwell, I'm trying to guess, should
I know this younger? Well, I know who's well, first
of all, hang on, I know who's perfect for Anna,
But you're just gonna sit there and make fun of
me and you're gonna destroy it. So I know Anna
and Jason need to be together. They need to throw
that at the wall, see if it sticks. But okay,
so who am I missing idea? Oh? Interesting? Well, I

(26:14):
mean she could definitely attract the young guys. Yeah, that's
very interesting, very interesting Anna and Isaiah. Maybe maybe it
could work. It could work. But we'll see what happens,
because it's exciting me because we got britt stuff coming back.

(26:34):
You know, brit Brits. If it's BRIT's Brits twin, you
know there's gonna be Yeah, it's gonna be very interesting
to see how it all, see how it all shapes up.
And I also have no doubt, by the way, that
we're gonna see a lot of park again all next

(26:56):
week or all this week. We're gonna get a lot
of park.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
What makes you say that, Well.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
Because I just watched in a hospital and they're gonna
milk the park with the softball thing because we only
got a glimpse of it. Unless they kind of concluded,
I wouldn't be shocked if we get a lot of
the park. Well, we're gonna get a lot of the
park anyway, because it's summer, so you're seeing all the
scenes that I said we're gonna happen. Are gonna happen
outside in the pool here some metro court, and you're
gonna get a lot of the park, which looks very

(27:25):
I I want to hang out there, like I wouldn't
mind having a picnic out there. But you know that
park is always there's always really good scenes that's fail yeah, right.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
I think, Yeah, I think get a lot of typ
park last year, but I they'd start watching it, right,
jud Lie, Yeah, when it started hanging cold in parts, yes, yes,
so they stopped using the park, right, But I think
I don't think they're gonna use the park as much

(28:02):
this week. I don't. I don't see it.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
I want to bet.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
I feel like it's all gonna be like mostly indoors
and like it's obviously it's gonna be sent it around
a Willow telling Michael that she's gonna get married and
him and we saw the feev.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Him saying like, oh, yeah, I never seen those kids.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
You're not gonna see those kids if they get married.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
You're not wrong there. Natalia is gone. For the record,
let's we didn't touch based on that line. Yeah, she's
If you're wondering where I forgot her name already on
the show, Gabriella.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
No, you said it Natalia.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
I'm an idiot. I'm thinking of the evil Laru. But
Natalia is gone. The character Natalia is gone. We said
that she had to go weeks ago. Someone's clearly listening
to the podcast. Someone is sitting at the table going, well,
this is what they're saying on Man of Soap. We
need to start listening to them.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
I love how Natalia out like we be quoted and
having released the episode. Yet someone's spying on someone. Someone
let me tell you something. You're bringing back Kelly Thibodeau.
With Thibodeau, how you were saying him. We've always said this,
what have I always said?

Speaker 1 (29:16):
When you see a character, a major character, go like
a lucky someone's coming in, right, So it gets Anoun's lucky,
he's leaving, she's coming in and I can't Still I'm
still upset. We've talked about this already, though, I'm still
piffed at the characters that were let go to bring
Lucky back. I can't believe that Cyrus is gone. I
can't believe that Obrek was gone hopefully coming back. I mean,

(29:38):
they they unloaded, they killed our guy, the cop uh dex.
We Love Decks. They killed oflf Decks basically to free
up all of this for Lucky, who was just the
worst comeback character and it was just the worst. It
was like, I'm hoping that yes.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Or they're saving up money so they could pay that
uh Daisy so much. I feel like Daisy is now
controlling all the money.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Yeah, yeah, Daisy. No, no, I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
The parents.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yeah, the parents, they make a little bit of penny
on that, but baby money. But no, they need to
bring back No, but they need to bring back like, okay,
Kelly tip of does good if it's BRIT's twin. If
we don't know that, right, We don't know that for sure, right,
no one knows now. But then we got the girl
from One Life to Live, the woman that's been there
forever remember you sent me to I forgot on Instagram.

(30:36):
She's coming back. We don't know what role she's gonna be.
Is she the one hovering over to the old lady? Yeah,
the older lady? I forgot her name, The older lady.
She's great. She's like an icon. I'm an idiot.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
She's Monica, but maybe, well that would be interesting.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
She's wow. You know what I never thought of that.
I don't think so though, now that Monica is one
of those because you just can't recast us. But you
just can't do it. It's not no. That's an interesting
thought though, to recast her as Monica. Dang it, I

(31:12):
never even thought about that.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
She's still in the uh in their room, and she
could be.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
Miraculously they all miraculous, say no one ever does.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Yeah, like Michael.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Now that's interesting. Could she be recast as Monica? That
would be I'm gonna tell you something right now, that's
a I don't think it's gonna happen, but that's a great,
great idea because Monica is not all that old. This
would bring new blood for Monica and Monica and Tracy

(31:45):
always had a feud kind of going on kind of thing.
Are there any rumors on that? I mean, you're looking yeah,
Oh my god, I love that call bring her back
as Monica. That's a very interesting take that you just
you didn't even know what you're really saying when you
said that, you were kind of half joking. But I'm like, okay, okay,

(32:12):
I like it. We're gonna find out this next this
coming week is gonna be great. I cannot wait. I
think we're gonna have a lot of park scenes. Michael
doesn't seem to think, Hey, but we'll see, we'll see
what happens.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Well, we all know until this fall fall.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Well, no, I'm in park scenes this week. No, no, man,
Oh you mean with her?

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (32:38):
When is she coming?

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (32:39):
In short term, in the fall, short term. See that
tells me she's not gonna be Monica.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
Well she could be, and then she could get sick again.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
I like it now. I want Monica to be recast.
I never thought i'd see this. See the light where
the day where I say Leslie Charleston. But wow, yeah,
I'll have to ask Sonya who we had on a
couple weeks. So she probably already knows.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
She knows Free Well. It's currently unknown, but fans have
speculated about playing a new villain or a character with
ties to the core mains. Yeah, possibly even related to
Monica or Monica herself.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
It says that there. Yeah, I'm excited. Don't even don't
even get me there, Are you serious? I thought you
were just throwing that out there. Oh so you read that,
but you're trying to own it? Did you just? Did you?
And then you come off like you own that lego.
It was a hot take.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
It was it was a hot take, and then I
had to look it out.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
All right, so you're not okay, So you didn't get
it from the article and then give it as a
hot take and fake it. No, it wasn't a fake take.
It it was a real take.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
Ah, good stuff, good stuff. Yeah, we'll see what happens
this week. A lot of good stuff. Maybe the lighting
will get a little bit better this week. We'll find out.
I mean, there's there is just a lot going on.
I mean it's gonna center around ge O. It's gonna
I mean, you know, we're gonna get you know, You're

(34:09):
you're gonna get the Sonny drama. You're gonna get the
Brooklyn and Lulu drama. Professor Dalton, Emma, she gonna seduce him.
That's weird too. There's a lot of weird stuff going on.
Sonny A da Turner will Willow. Does Willow have a

(34:33):
chance at getting the kids back? Will she see Drew
for the scumbag that he really is? Is BRIT's twin back?
Summer couples are heating up. Who's Isaiah gonna be with?

(34:53):
Who's Anna may be gonna be with Jason hopefully. Uh oh,
summer is just getting underway and it is going to
be a banger of a summer Man and Soap. The
podcast brought to you by Bobby's where your Summer Bot
awaits you. It's a good week, Michael, Yep. I think

(35:21):
this week, by the way, Michael, this week's gonna be
a better week. I felt like this past week was
kind of like they gave us an intense three last
week's like nurses ball right, and then the last two
weeks with the trial, like like I feel like now
we're getting into some like I think we had a
little bit of a lull last week. It was just

(35:42):
kind of again and what have I've always said about
that will calm before the storm? Like, I think this
next week's gonna get really good. I think this this
past week is like all right, everyone, catch your breath,
let's just chill, let's get it right, let's just relax.
But now we need the chaos back.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
I feel like either this week or next week it's
gonna be so drama.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
Pan yeah yep, but yeah, and we still need we
need where's our super couple, where's our villain? Our main
is Sidwell developing it, and we said Drew possibly, Okay, I
just don't know by if I buy this. Sidwell potentially
still maybe the new villain, because I am seeing a

(36:22):
look in his eyes that makes me think, right, there's
some evil in there, right ah. But we'll be right
here to talk about it. Find us on Instagram, find
us on Facebook, Reddit as well Man and So podcast,
and we'll see y'all next week
