Speaker 1 (00:00):
Variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today it's
Star one on one three. It's Marcus and Corey back
with second date Update. Let's go second date update.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
This is where we get you on the phone, I
ask you about a date, You tell us how it went,
and then we call this other person to see where
the wheels fell off.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Let's get going Amber. Are you there, Hi. I'm not
suggesting the wheels came off, because who knows. Maybe this
guy Craig has just been busy. Maybe you don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
But I know I need yeah help on this.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Let's figure this out. So tell us about how you
guys met and then tell us about the first date.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Okay, So me and Craig met on Hinge and honestly,
like I'm just so overdating at that point. It was
I don't know, I felt like there were some hopes
for Craig. You know, he just kind of seemed really mature,
He like actually was looking for like a real relationship
and not just like a hookup. And I thought we

(00:57):
got along really well. He had a great sense of humor,
you know, and like we decided to go on a
lunch date. We both live in the East Bay, so
we met up in Berkley, Okay, and he was even
better in person. Honestly, he was really funny, he was smart.
Like again, we just got along and I was really
looking forward to seeing him again. Sure, but nothing happened.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
So like, he hasn't reached out. Have you reached out
at all? Not that I would expect you to, but
have you reached out at all? Well?

Speaker 3 (01:28):
I didn't because I was not sure what was happening.
And I was like, am I being completely ghosted at
this point? Like I don't know?

Speaker 4 (01:35):
So he has just disappeared.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Yep, Yes, here's what I'm thinking.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Tell me.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Amber doesn't realize that Craig is a master thief. He's
planned an elaborate Las Vegas three casino heist. He recruits
ten other thieves and con men to pull off the
complex job. So he's been really busy.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Ocean's eleven yes, twelve, yes, thirteen?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
No eleven, Stop while you're behind?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Why do there have to be other dudes involved? I
don't like that.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
What do you mean you can't pull it off by himself?
Three casinos?

Speaker 1 (02:10):
All right, stop, Amber, it's possible, but let's call him.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
And I hope that's the outcome right?

Speaker 1 (02:19):
How dare he ghost me? I'd rather there be a
casino heist. I'll tell you what we're gonna We're gonna
call him and try to figure it all out. Can
you can you hang with us for like a song?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Okay, hot, we'll do it right after this Second Date
updates Star one on one three more variety from the
two thousands, the nineties, and today. It's Star one on
one three. It's Marcus and Corey talking to Amber here
during second date updates. So she gave us the rundown
a minute ago. If you missed it, Amber, you and
Craig both live in the East Bay. You met it
from lunch in Berkeley. We like him because he's got
a good sense of humor. A good sense of humor

(02:48):
goes a long way. Yeah, it does, right. You could
be a just a mediocre looking guy such as myself,
but you have a sense of humor. All right, So
let's figure this out because the problem is he ghosted.
So Amber, go ahead and mut your phone and let's
give him a shot. Okay, Hello, I may speak with Craig.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Please.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
This is Craig.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Hi, Craig. It's Marcus and Corey from Star one to
one three.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Hey Craig, Hello, Hi, Hi, I suppose you listen to
our radio show. Do you.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
No?

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Sorry?

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Okay, So we got your phone number from a friend
of ours and we're doing a segment on the show
called second Date Updates. So we were wondering if you
had a moment to talk to us about a date
you've been on recently. Yeah, if you're okay with that
someone who Doug, you would like to go out again?
Feeling ghosted? Do you mind talking about your day with Amber?

(03:49):
Do you have a second I can talk about that.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
So she liked you, man, and but she feels like
you disappeared. Did something happen? Are you busy?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Guy?

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Did you go?

Speaker 5 (04:01):
So?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (04:04):
Well? Honestly, I mean I did like her.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
I think, you know, she's very pretty and she's got
a good personality. But when we were on the date,
she literally did the only thing that I can't tolerate
perfect oh, which is yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
So we had ordered food.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, and
when I got back to the table, the food had
already been delivered. Okay, And I looked down and I
was shot.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
She had she had taken a bite out of my sandwich.
This is the first date. Just like we haven't.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
Bold yeah, she's yeah, right, like we haven't kids, we
do anything. She's putting her mouth on my food without asking,
And that's the one thing I.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Just I can't stand.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
I wouldn't have allowed it if she asked before, but
it's the fact that she didn't was just too much interesting.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
You sound like my husband. He doesn't share food.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Literally on a T shirt the chef doesn't share food. Okay,
that's good clarity. I would love to So Amber's listening
right now, and she's.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Actually on the phone.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Amber, Hi, Yeah, how is this a big deal right now? Like?
How is this a big deal? I mean I love
sharing dishes, and this is it's like a way to
try more items on the many. It's not a this
is your big deal.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
I mean, it's fine for you if you like sharing food.
I just don't.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
And that's just like my one the biggest thing for me,
And the fact that you just went ahead and did
it without even asking, without talking, I was like, no way,
I have to shool cool.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
You don't even tell me that that bothers you. You
just ghost me. This is hysterical to me and actually
really shocking.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
You actually knew me wouldn't have done that.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
But we don't know each other, so you could have
said something, but you didn't. Instead, you smiled and waved,
and then you left and ghosted me and said you
could have communicated that.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
But okay, yeah, but who would actually think they need
to preemptively say if my food gets here before I do,
please don't take a bite out of it.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Well, he could have said something in the moment.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Yes, if I was there, I would have. I would
have politely declined.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
I think this is ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (06:13):
I really think the thing is to me, it is
a big deal, though it's something that actually bothers me.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Okay, well, I didn't know that, and you could have
said something.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
I don't feel like I needed to at that point,
I was already being violated.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
You know, my food was violated.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
You've been violating. This is so stupid.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Oh my god, all.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Right, you two, Okay, I don't I don't think this
is a match, if I'm being honest.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
No,
