Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
it's the Star one on one three, it's Marcus back
with second date update. It's that time we try to
bring people together. So you went on our first eight
for example, and then they were person ghosted and you
don't know why. Typically, like most people can't think of
something they did wrong. Let's bring Bryce on.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Bryce. Are you there?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Hey, how's going?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Maybe you're the exception because I understand this. Lady Carissa ghosted?

Speaker 3 (00:24):
You?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Have you figured out what you did wrong?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Man? I have no idea?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Okay? Can we talk about it? Like, how did you
guys meet Bumble? Sure?

Speaker 3 (00:34):
So we matched up on the app?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Okay? And then what'd you do for your date?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Dinner and eating square?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Okay? So like set the scene for me. Where did
you guys go? What did you talk about?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
How did she look? I don't know, she was looking
really hot.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
I mean she was in heels, nice dress, Okay, and
you know, so we went and started eating dinner and
we talked about, you know, like our favorite sand up comedians.
And there's like a point at the night where a
server had accidentally she'd dropped a fort there the table. Uh, huh,
And we both jumped up at the same time and

(01:12):
we hit each other on the head. I felt like
it really caught my nerves. And okay, you know, I
was pretty sure that we were gonna have a second date.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
You didn't give her a concussion or anything, did you?

Speaker 4 (01:22):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
I mean we you know, we bumped heads and both
laughed about it.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
All right, all right, and so she's ghosted since.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
She sure has all right, Like.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I said, we're gonna call her. We're gonna try to
figure some things out. We'll see what she thought of
the date. Ultimately, I'd love to get you a second date.
So we'll have you on the line to listen in.
Can you hold for a second.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
It's Marcus. We're doing second date update. I've got my
guy Bryce on the phone. He's been holding.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Met Carissa online, specifically on Bumble and then they went
to dinner and Bryce, you said it was a fancy
place right in Union Square. Yeah, so she was like
dressed up, looking hot, your words. And she has ghosted.
So let's see if we can give her a call.
It's my reminder to mute your phone. Let's give her
a shout and see what's going on.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Hello, Hi, can I speak to Carissa?

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Please speaking?

Speaker 2 (02:22):
This is Marcus from Star one oh one three?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Hi, you listen in the morning?

Speaker 5 (02:29):
I do. I listen every morning?

Speaker 2 (02:32):
You yes, and please check your phone. It's second date
update time.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Oh okay, do.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
You know about second date updates? I guess that's my
follow up. I do fantastic.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
So so is a certain person on the line as well?
And yes, and if he is, I can't wait to
call him out.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Are you going to say his name? Or should I?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Either way?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
So Bryce is holding Bryce?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Bryce there, Yeah, I'm here.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
So, Chris, I understand you ghosted. What can you tell
us he'd like to take you out again? He said
you looked lovely, had a good time.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Oh my gosh. Can I just say the date was
doomed before the bread even hit the table?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Okay, this is a strong start. Please elaborate.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Yep. Well, first of all, Bryce told you my name
was Carissa. My name is Carrissa with an l oh wow.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Yeah okay, And.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
I corrected him multiple times on the date about that.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
He kept calling me Carissa. Anyway.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I was going to say, forgive me I got bad information.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Yeah you did. It's kind of a common mistake. So
when you first asked for Chris, I was just like,
you know, whatever.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
But come on, this is somebody who was interested in me,
who wants to date me. I correct him so many times.
He keeps calling me that other name anyway, like you know.
And the other thing is he showed up for the
day in a track suit. It looked completely out of place.
I took the time to get all, you know, dressed up.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
I did at my hair, I make up like I
was looking good.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
I think it was almost like we're going to separate events.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Not first date. I thought like I showed up for
a gala and he showed up for like to go jogging.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Okay, that would do it for me. Bryce you have
any thoughts.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Well, look, I'm Italian, so we don't really.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Pronounce the l's.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
And the track suit. The tracksuit was a it was
a luxury track suit.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Did you say you don't pronounce the l's.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Does that mean what?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
What if it's to her name? Well, you know, hello,
is he still there?

Speaker 3 (04:50):
I mean yeah, you know, like I said, it was
a nice track suit.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Okay, I'm not going to give you a pass on
the tracksuit, but I'd like to shelve it for a second.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
What about just calling her by her name?

Speaker 3 (05:03):
I thought I was calling her by her name. It
was really loud, and you know, I had a couple
of drinks. What's the big deal?

Speaker 2 (05:09):
It's its name.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Sorry, but yeah, it's a big deal to me. And
you could have just read my name in my bio
online or even just listen to me when I told
you my name.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
And by the way, it doesn't matter how expensive your
luxury tracks. It was. It looked ridiculous in that restaurant.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Clarissa, do I need to even ask about a second
date here?

Speaker 4 (05:32):
You know what? You do not even have to ask?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Okay,
