Speaker 1 (00:00):
What variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
star one on one three. It's Marcus and Corey doing
second Date up date midweek. What's up?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Why are you not snagging that date?

Speaker 1 (00:09):
I don't know. We want to figure that out for you.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
That's why we're here. That's why we do second Date
update to help you and maybe slightly entertain ourselves.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Let's bring on Dahlia. Hi, Dahlia, Hey, how are you good?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
How are you okay?

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Yeah? Right, it's always tough. Yeah, I understand our guy, Reggie,
you're date ghosted. Let's talk about it. You guys went
to one of my favorite venues, the Mountain Winery.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Ooh, we went to the Mountain Winery. Uh huh. They're
a little early to get some wine. We both love wine,
and the vibes were really romantic, and you know, I
didn't know him, so we just agreed to meet there.
And I thought we had a really great time. And
you know, we have a good time. You listen to music,
drink wine, and then nothing, that's it.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Shall we fine? Anything weird happened?

Speaker 4 (00:57):
No? I thought we had a great time.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Okay, here's what I'm thinking. Please.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Reggie had just relocated to a new pad, and it
turns out he becomes friends with his cable guy. They
go to Medieval Times together and it just kind of
goes downhill from there.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Medieval Times, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
That could have happened.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
That's not the matter.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I love how Dahlia knows the assignment that totally could
have happened.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Welcome to medieval Times.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Stop, just stop?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Can I get a fork?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
There were no forks a medieval times.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Hey, hence there are no forks at medieval times?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
What is heck? Can we get back to this? You
had diet pepsi, Dahalia, you want to call Reggie. I'm
gonna ahead on mute Chorea. Let's call Reggie and see
what's up. We'll have you on the line, as you know,
so just go ahead and mute your phone and we'll
try to figure some things out. I'd love to get
you a second date, but let's see what happens. Okay,
thank you, you got it. We'll do it next. Second
Date updates Star one oh one three, Well variety from

(01:57):
the two thousands, the nineties and today it's Starr one
O one three. It's Marcus and Corey. We are doing
second Date up Date right now. We're chatting with Dahalia.
She and Reggie went to go see Chris Isaac at
the Mountain Winery part of their summer concerts series. Love
that I do love going there for a gig, and
so Dahalia. It was wine, it was music, the vibes
were good, and somehow he has ghosted. Yes, yeah, okay,

(02:20):
let's call him and try to figure this out. Go
ahead and mut your phone. Here we go.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Okay, Hello, Hi.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Man, I speak with Reggie. Please, Hi, Reggie. It's Marcus
and Corey from Star one O one three.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Hey, Reggie, I'm sorry who We.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Do a morning show in the Bay Area. We uh
a radio morning show. It's Star one O one three.
It's iHeart and we're doing a dating segment. We'd love
for you to be a part of.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Do you have sec to talk about a dight you've
been on recently if you don't mind, Dave already been.
We got sent your phone number the late His name
is Dalia and she said, you guys went to the
Mountain Winery check out a show. She thought it went awesome.
She's feeling like you ghosted. So this is where I ask,
have you just been busy? Did you actually ghost did

(03:13):
something go sidewace?

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yeah? I didn't mean to ghost her. I kind of
just didn't choose to carry things on. But we went
to a Chris Isaac concert and it started out it
was it was a pretty good date. You know, she's
she's gorgeous, she's a beautiful girl. I didn't see the future.
I found her rude. There were certain things she did

(03:37):
that just really kind of turned me off, that were
rubbed me the wrong way, just a little too rude
for for me. But okay, you know it wasn't at all.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Do you mind rude? I was saying, do you mind elaborating?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yeah? I mean it's just so the whole concert she
was on her feet, you know, like standing the entire time.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
And okay, I get it.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
You know, you want to stand, enjoy the music, have
a good time, but only you know there's appropriate time
to do so, right like when the artists themselves is
sitting down, you know, to play a nice song at
the piano and everyone else is sitting, you know, enjoying
that kind of more intimate moment. She's just standing there
doing a weird sway. It's I don't know, I feel

(04:19):
like you need to kind of read the room a
little bit, and it just made everyone uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
I definitely feel like when you're at a concert like that,
where the music can be upbeat and also slow, you
got to follow the crowd.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Right and like she was only one standing and the
person behind her was visibly annoyed. I don't know how
she didn't notice that. I tried to, okay, kind to
make it clear.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
I don't know it just yeah, maybe lack of self awareness,
or maybe she was just feeling a little bit too much.
Do you feel like she didn't care?

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yeah, lack of just kind of social common sense if
that makes sense, you know, sure, who just don't oblivioa
s those types of things.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
The other half of this is that Dadia is actually
listening right now. You're trying to get some clarity. So
if you don't mind it, I could bring her on.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Sorry, sure, yeah, why not?

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Great, Dahlia?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Hey, so.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Yeah, so I was listening to da and I don't agree.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I paid for my ticket.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
I was having a great time. And I think at
a concert venue, if you're enjoying the music, you can
stand and sway or do whatever you want.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yeah, but if everybody else is seated, like you're literally
the only one standing.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
I don't care if another person was standing and I
was sitting.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I don't leave the house.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Yeah, Like, I get it. You bought your ticket, but
so did the person behind you, so did everyone around you. Like,
that's not that doesn't give you a right to rob
other people their good time.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
You know, it's not my fault there. Everybody else is blame.
I mean, aren't we there to enjoy the music?

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Well, everybody's there to enjoy the music, not just you.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah. I don't think I need to say anything. I
think I rest my case of that one.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Guys, all right, uh so, no second date or what
is wrong with you?

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Best of luck to you, truly,
