Speaker 1 (00:00):
A variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
it's Star one on one three. It's Marcus and Corey
time once again for second date update. We're getting after it.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
We want to help you secure the second date as always,
and I think we're really good at it. I think
our record speaks for itself.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
You're so being so nice to us. Yes, but that's
we're gonna Every day is a new day.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Yes, right, yes, get.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
A DWARDO on Good Morning at Duardo.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Hey it was so man, thanks for helping me out.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Yeah, man, we're gonna do our best. Let's get into
your date here is let's talk about Sarah, like, how
did you guys hear it? First of all, and then
let's talk about the first date. Okay, Yeah, so.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
You know we were I met her on Bumble and
we were talking and flirting for a couple of weeks.
You know, I feel like we were both digging each other.
So I asked her out, you know what I mean.
I was like yellow, ask her out, and on a whim,
I asked her to come to trivia night with me
and my friends. We go to this bar. It's like
my favorite party, have trivia every week.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Did you guys talk about this feels like a very
specific date to like just randomly invite somebody on.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Like when we were chatting, I mentioned it to her,
seeing like, oh, yeah, I've been there with my friends.
I like, that's a perfect opening right there, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Yeah, sure, sure, And you know.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
My friends and I we get really into it. You know,
we drink and we have this friend competition, and I
thought she'd like it, and she did show up. Then
I felt so goofy because when I saw her, like
I had this dumb, goofy smile on my face and
she walked in, and you know, my boys were all like,
oh dang, like Sarah's cute, you know. So I felt
really good. So we talked for a little bit and
try to give her some space. I didn't want her

(01:38):
to think that I was like, you know, super hovery
or whatnot, So I let her have some space. But
then like a little while later, I looked up and
she was gone. So I don't know if she left early,
if there was an emergency or something, because I texted
her and I didn't hear back or anything. So she
were having a good time, ghosted me nothing, So I
just don't know what's up.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Here's what I think.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yes, please, I think Sarah left the bar and stumbled
upon an ancient ring that creates wormhole to travel to
another device in the universe.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
As good as guess as mine. You know that is a.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Lot hushtag stargate. Is this a movie thing on a
TV show? Ah?

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Is she?

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (02:19):
She gotta figure ot how to come back.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
All right, I'll tell you what, Eduardo, as we always do.
Let's call her, okay, and ultimately I would love to
get you a second date, but let's just see what's up.
I am concerned that she left without saying goodbye. Yeah,
this is a huge tip, but let's let's figure it out.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Let's all stay positive, okay.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Uh, can you hang on the line for a song?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Absolutely? Yeah, all right, I appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
We're gonna call Sarah after this. It's second Date update
Star one on one three, Well variety from the two
thousands of the nineties and today it's Star one on
one three. It's Marcus and Corey doing second date update.
Chatting with Eduardo. I'm gonna all this kind of a
unique first date. Because he and Sarah were talking, he
mentioned that he and his boys do trivia night at
a local bar, and he invited her.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Which is like a group date than a date date.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Eduardo, Let's be real, like you introduced her to your
friends like straight away.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
So yeah to me, gets so comfortable. You know she's
not alone, Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
And she showed up. She was cute. The only clue
we have is that she left without saying goodbye. Right,
so there's something going on. Well, let's call her a meetrophone, please,
and let's give her a shot.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Here we go, Hello, Hi, may speak with Sarah please.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Hi.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
This is Sarah.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Hi Sarah, It's Marcus and Corey from Star one on
one three. Good morning, Good morning, Hi.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Do you do you listen to our show?

Speaker 5 (03:57):
I heard your show before? What is then this call?
Because I'm a little nervous.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
What is the nature of this call?

Speaker 2 (04:05):
We're doing our dating segment Second Date Update, and someone
called us about you.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Do you know about second Date Update?

Speaker 5 (04:12):
I do?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Okay, Okay, do you mind talking with us.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
On the air?

Speaker 5 (04:18):
Sure? I have a feeling I know where this is
going to go. But let's do this.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Okay, I like it.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
We might as well bring a Eduardo on, he says.
He says he enjoyed your date. He said, you showed
up super cute. Cute.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Yeah, so I'd.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Love to know what happened, Sarah. You know how this works.
The only clue we have is that you left without
saying goodbye. So what the heck happened?

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Oh? I honestly, this call alone is more effort than
Eduardo put into the entire date. So I'll start off
by saying.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
That's not really.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Hold on, Eduardo, shut your mouth for a second.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
Back to you, Sarah, Well, okay, everything was going great
when we were talking. You know, I was really excited
to meet up with him. I had zero plans that weekend,
so when he invited me to trivia, I was really
looking forward to it. He was nice, he was funny.
Everything was lining up. But when I got there, he

(05:21):
was already drunk.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Drunk.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Yeah, he had mentioned that he was going to be
drinking with his friends, but getting drunk a little out
of pocket for me. Dunk.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
He was so loud that people were looking at him.
He was slurring his words, he was starting to say
some really weird things. He wasn't even really playing trivia.
The guy he told me to have a few drinks,
and I thought, okay, you.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Know what I will.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Oh, I don't like that, but.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
You know, I figured he wanted me to like loosen
up a little bit. Sure, yeah, I really was enjoying
talking his friends.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
I thought that the drinks would helped me, you know,
connect to them even more. Maybe I would have a
little more playing trivia. But it was when he fell
asleep at the table, that's oh yeah, that was when
it was too much for me. I literally had no
one to talk to after that.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Sure, okay, well, at Eduardo, I'd like to hear from you.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Now.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Look you fell asleep.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Like, look, I had a super long day, right, and
I helped my friend move you know, good guy. I
get a few homie points for that, right. And you know,
and I told you we were going to be drinking
when I invited you, and you said that was all good?

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Did you tell her it was going to be nap time.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
I wasn't sleeping. We were playing trivia. I was like
deep in thought, you know, searching the recesses of my
brain for the answers. I wasn't sleeping.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Yeah, that's the same thing that I say when I'm
trying to watch a movie on a date.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
I mean, but you know you couldn't nudged me a
little bit. You know that would have been.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
I was deep and thought you were snoring. Yeah, you
were deep in r em.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
It was not a good look for first date.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
You know, I think what's happening here is that I
think you don't have fun. I think is the problem.
You know, you loosen up a little bit, all right?
Dates boring peeps?

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Hey, are okay?

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Listen to it? Pass out? It's cool.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Hang on you guys, hang on? Or is she Sarah?

Speaker 5 (07:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah, no, good call on that one.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
You made the right choice.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
This is where I say sorry to bother you and
Corey and I make like Homer in the bushes.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Yeah, we're just going to fade into the midst.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Thanks for the cold.
