I mean, I'm all right, I'm you know, I'm thinking
about this date I had, of course, which is why
we're here.

Sure, tell us about Lacy, Like, how did you guys meet?
And then what'd you do on the date?

Well, we met online, which is you know, kind of
a standard thing nowadays. Sure, but we had we had
some some nice little flirtation going on, and uh, you know,
she's a girl that likes that fun I am. So
I said, hey, we could do a first date at
like this brewery and she thought that was that was
very cool. So I thought it was a great time.

You know, they got those like flight so the beer samples. Sure,
we got into that had like some Bavarian pretzel.

I was just if it was one of they had food,
because there, you know, there were two types typically that
either the ones that have food or the ones where
you can bring your own, which I always appreciate as well.

Oh no, no, this was closer to like restaurant style. Okay,
but yeah, I mean it was just we're having a
good time. We're laughing, you know. It was like a
very vibing place with lots of people, and it just
was it just seemed like we were like on the
same level and we were having a lot of fun.
And then she was even talking about going on a
hike with me, you know, because we're doing balance, like,

oh hey, we're out here drinking, we're having a great time.
Oh but we got a hike too, we also And
I was like, yeah, yeah, so I thought this was
like an obvious second date setup situation. Yeah yeah, Like nope,
she ghosted. So I'm kind of okay, okay, I'm stuck
here wondering.

What I'm thinking is what we didn't realize is that
Lazy is actually a deep space explorer and she actually
teams up with so we not know that. Well, they
didn't get to it. So she teams it with some
marines because they're trying to find these colonists who were
settling this one planet, the LV four two six planet.

Uh huh. And they get there and they only find
one survivor. It's a nine year old girl who her names.
Everybody calls it.

Even though I listened to your guys, this is so
bizarre to have to do this publicly. I did. Look,
everything was fine, Like it wasn't like a bad date necessarily,
you know, he was he is cute. It was fine,
but yeah, like I don't know, it just got weird.

Like I walked in, he pulled out my stool. It
was all green flags when we were chatting. But you know,
so for me, it kind of started right off the
bad because he kind of made this weird joke to
the bartender, and then after that I was just sort
of like not into it anymore.

What was the joke?

Yeah, he was like, give me the strongest beer you got,
you know, because he like apparently wanted to test my tolerance.
I don't know, it was just like weird with that.
I wondered, like like we were on a first date.
We were like having a drinking contest.

Ethan, did this actually happen? Did you say to the
bartender give me the strongest beer you got. I'm trying
to test your tolerance.

Yeah, one hundred percent. I mean I was just breaking
the ice.

Best case scenario was a corny joke, but like it
just didn't feel that way. That was that it that
was the only thing. But the whole thing was just
like weird. Like she was trying to get a band
to play as a song and like announce it it
was our first date. Like that's it's too much attention
for me. We met online. It wasn't even like this
is day zero, not date one. And I like I

think he paid them like ten bucks to like play
a song, and it was like they mean it was
just like they didn't want to, you know what I mean.
It was very weird. And then like I went to
the bathroom and he like started talking to a couple
next to us, like but in a very aggressive way,
like he put his arm around my stool and like
leans over, and I don't know, like it was like

the whole rest of the day, it's like we're talking
to the whole restaurant and the whole like the whole brewery,
and I just like wanted it to be a little
bit more low key than that.
