Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
it's Star one on one three. It's Marcus and Corey
back from the long weekend with second date update.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
You know what we do, Yes, we get someone on
the phone that went on a first date and they
thought it went pretty well and now they're getting ghosted,
so we try to figure out what happened.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Se Good morning to Lucas.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Lucasi there, Yeah, it is Lucas here.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
How was your fourth? Bruh?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
How's my fourth? It was awesome. I got to hang
out some friends, shoot off some fireworks and you're great.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Awesome, No Kendra on the brain until here we are
here we are. Let's talk about your date because I
know she's ghosted. First of all, how did you meet Kendra?
And then what did you guys do for your date?

Speaker 3 (00:34):
So? I met Kendra. We were both volunteering to clean
up Ocean Beach one Saturday morning. We were both super
hungover from the night before.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
Wow, you know, like when you're really hungover, random crap
is really funny. Yeah, so her and I like got
we got like this inside joke about the trash bags
that we were using.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
That is like really stupid. But you're hungover. It was
really funny. We both started laughing, and then at Stark
has Them kind of took off from there between us
and we kind of flirted, joke back and forth for
pretty much the entire morning while we dealt with unbelievable
hangovers from both of ours. This that we went out
for like sushi a couple days later. Everything was super awesome,

(01:18):
Like it was a great dinner, Like we laughed, we flirted,
I walked her to her uber at the end. I
even got the kiss on the cheek, you know, pretty awesome.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Ever since then, like nothing, I've texted her, nothing, and
she's just completely ghosted.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
And you bonded so much over your alcoholism. Don't let
that right?

Speaker 1 (01:38):
All right, hold on, the pot has to call the
kettle black before we continue. Hi, this is a pot.
At any rate, this sounds very textbook, Corey. Do you
have any idea what might have happened?

Speaker 4 (01:48):
He's what I'm thinking.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Tender actually forgot to tell him that she was going
on vacation to the cat Skills with her family and
she's fascinated by the resorts dance instructors. And when the
female can't perform. Kinder steps in and she falls in
love with the dance instructor, the male dance instructor. While
they're learning the routine. They had the last big dance
of the summer, and they run off together.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I'm having it might have to happen. I'm not a
good dancer myself, so if it's dancing skills that she's
ghosted me, then that's fair.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I can't remember it, Timola, what's the movie called?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Never?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
A film before nobody puts baby in the corner? He
is so sorry. Do you want me to tell you please?
Dirty dancing disappointing you.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I'm okay, Lucas, I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
I'm sorry, Lucas. That's that's on market apology.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Everyone loves a good dirty dancing.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Pun I'll tell you what. Let's call her. We're gonna
see what happened with Kendra. Can you hang on the
line for me, Bud? Absolutely all right, were right back
with it. Second Date Update's Star one O one three.
More variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
it's Star one O one three. It's Marcus and Corey.
We are in the middle of a second Date update,
as you know, and we've been chatting with Lucas, who
gave us a lot of truth, a lot of honesty

(03:07):
about how he met Kendra. They were hungover at a
beach clean up at Ocean Beach. Yes, but to your point, Lucas,
it made it made the humor go a lot smoother
because everybody's a little punchy.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
I've been told I'm actually better on the air hungover.
Really Yeah, Well, one guy told me I.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Can't wait and you guys met up in the sunset
for sushi. Did I get all that correct?

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Absolutely right?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
That's right, And she's ghosted. We're not sure what happened,
but let's call her and figure it out. Go ahead
and mut your phone. Here we go.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Hello, Hi, may speak with Kendra. Please. This is Hi Kendra.
It's Marcus and Corey from Star one to Win three. Hey, okay, Hi,
we do a morning media show here in the Bay Area.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Yes, and wondering, thank you. Do you have a second
to be on the radio with us?

Speaker 5 (04:07):
Okay, So we do.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
A segment on our show called second Date Update and okay,
So two people go on a first date, somebody ghosts,
and so we call them to try to figure out
what what happened. Did the other person do something? So
we understand you've been on a date recently with a
guy named Lucas, and we're basically calling on his behalf.
He's a friend of the show, and we're just wondering

(04:30):
that he'd like to go out again. Yeah, he thought
despite the hangovers that you guys connected, and so we
wanted to get your thoughts on the first date and
whether or not you would agree to a second date
for our guy. How did it go for you?

Speaker 6 (04:46):
Look, I liked Lucas, you know, but something was just
off with him.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
What does that mean?

Speaker 6 (04:53):
Well, halfway through dinner, Lucas asked if I wanted to
reset my energetic w wavelength before dessert. I know what
you said, he said, do you want to reset your
energetic wavelength?

Speaker 4 (05:11):
What was an energetic wavelength?

Speaker 3 (05:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
I thought it was a joke, honestly, But then he
proceeded to pull out like a bluetooth speaker from his
jacket pocket and he played this ten minute long like
sound back track and it was really loud actually too,
and it was just like so strange. It was like
a meditation rave at a yoga studio, but in the
middle of dinner. It was in the.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, I've never cared, so I've never done it with
a bluetooth. But like so, I've done yoga and the
yogi will pull out what looks like a like a
metal bowl slash bell, and then you take a thing
and you run it along the metal in it and
makes sound waves and it's supposed to like reset.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
You in a in a way. Okay, well, I can't
see you doing that yoga. I don't know about dinner.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
So Kendra, give me one sec here because this tells
me everything I need to know. So Lucas is actually listening, right, Lucas.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Yeah, hey, Kendra, Hi, why.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Would you do that in a restaurant? Lucas just curious?

Speaker 1 (06:16):
I mean, this is an easy one, Lucas.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
I mean, it's come on now, Like, let's be honest.
Everyone should sit there and reset their energetic wavelengths right
before they eat raw fish. Okay, this isn't that crazy
of a concept, Like everybody that I know does it.
You're eating raw fish. You got to make sure that
your body, your mind, your soul, and your spirit are
all connected and in the same wavelength.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Can you do it in your car?

Speaker 3 (06:43):
I mean I don't want to like brag or anything,
but I'm basically doing a service to everybody at the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
It feels invasive, I don't know, just to the other diners.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
I mean, maybe they don't want to reset their look.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Kendra, is this a deal a deal breaker?

Speaker 6 (07:00):
Mean? Yeah, Like I kind of have this like no
gong policy.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
I'm telling you, you're missing out very scientifically proven and
honestly the best thing that you can do for yourself.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
Okay, okay, Well you're missing out on a lot of
normal girls.
