Speaker 1 (00:00):
More variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
it's Star one on one three, It's Marcus and Corey
and we're back with second date update.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Once again, it's our dating I wouldn't say it ad,
it's our dating thing where we try to get you
a second date because you've you've you've done the first date. Yes,
you got that behind you. Yes, how do we get
you the second date?

Speaker 1 (00:20):
We need to help May specifically because apparently she and
Brent both live in PACIFICA.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Oh, that's that's good location. I have this so far.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
May you both live, Yeah, they're in Pete Town, Like,
what are the odds?

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Yeah, no, that's great. You got to double down on that.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Geographically, we need to make this happen.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
It's my point.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
So let's talk about how you guys met and then
what you did for your first date.

Speaker 5 (00:40):
Okay, I mean it was pretty typical.

Speaker 6 (00:43):
We met on Hinge.

Speaker 5 (00:45):
We both live in the same area geographically, like you said, right,
we like living down there. Yeah, we chat it on
Hinge and then we decided to go on a date
go to Oh.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Okay, yeah, what do I feel like your whole life
just fell on.

Speaker 6 (01:05):
Sorry?

Speaker 5 (01:08):
Yeah, we decided to go to dinner and a movie,
and yeah, I thought I thought it was fine. The
chat was good, like there wasn't ever like a lull
in the conversation, and we like split snacks at the movies,
and yeah, it was all fine to me. But I mean,
he like ghost he like posted me after, so.

Speaker 7 (01:26):
He's gone, yeah, no sign Corey, your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
So what I'm thinking is Brent is a police officer
and he's been transferred to another area and he finds
the pace of life is kind of slow and uneventful.
But soon there's a series of weird accidents that happened,
and he's suspecting foul play. He uncovers a dark secret

(01:53):
that the village is run by a secret society called
the Neighborhood Watch Alliance, and they actually kill people who
are disruptive to the village's peaceful facade.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Is he okay, Yeah, he's just fighting back. He's busy,
he's working.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
I know, you don't. You never get it in training day.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
No, I don't think this is what happened. May I
have to be honest with.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
You, Okay, you know, I'm just throwing it out there.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Maybe that's no comment whatsoever.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
No, I don't know. I am trying to.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
I mean, just remember it's always for the greater good.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Okay, if you know, you know, I'll tell you what. May,
Why don't we just call him. We're gonna call Brent
and try to figure this out for you.

Speaker 7 (02:32):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, let's get some answers. Let's get a second date
if possible. Hang on the line for me, Okay, we'll
be right back with it. Second Date updates Star one
O one three, more variety from the two thousands, the nineties,
and today Star one on one three.

Speaker 7 (02:44):
It's Marcus and Corey.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Doing second date update, and we've got May on the phone.
She was telling us about her date with Brent. I
like this because they both live in PACIFICA. So we
need to try to make this happen. Yeah, it is possible,
hopefully just a misunderstanding. But May, are you ready to
call him and try to figure out the real deal?

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:00):
All right, go ahead and meet your phone.

Speaker 7 (03:01):
Here we go, yell, I may speak with Brent.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Please.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yeah, Hi, Brent, It's Marcus and Corey from Star one
to win three.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Hey, okay, all right, Hi, Hi, So we we do
we do a radio show out of San Francisco, and
I'm assuming you don't listen, just a guess, but I'm sorry,
Do you have.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
A second to go on the air with us?

Speaker 6 (03:36):
I got a couple of minutes.

Speaker 7 (03:37):
Sure, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
We do a dating segment called second Date Update, and
we got your phone number from someone who listens to
the show says that she went on a solid date
with you, but that you have ghosted.

Speaker 6 (03:50):
Cool.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Yeah, no, apparently you're a good hitting.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
I'm good to know that. You know, my repute is
half reason.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
You're a reason good guy.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Yes, so you tap out, I'm so, do you mind
talking about a day you went on? Her name is May,
and we're just trying to figure.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
Out yes, Uh did you ghost her?

Speaker 6 (04:16):
Uh? Yeah, I think I might have. Yeah, it's not
really my style, but you know, I just didn't.

Speaker 7 (04:22):
I didn't know.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
I didn't know how to address it.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Otherwise she'd like to go out again. So yeah, did
something happen?

Speaker 6 (04:31):
Well? May was cool and we had a really good
time during dinner. You know, we had a lot of conversations,
hanging out and stuff. But I don't know if she
told you, but we went to a movie. Yeah, after
we had dinner.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
You didn't say that.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
The movie is kind of where things took turn. I
was really turned off. There was a group of teenagers.
You know, it's being k in the rows behind us,
and you know, I mean they're joint in the movie,
but they're also like going and talking to ead and stuff,
you know what I mean, you know, and they she

(05:08):
like turns around and just loudly shushes them, you know,
like really just so they quieted down a little bit.
And then of course they started off because you know,
kids are gonna be kids and all that, and she
actually got up at them HER's seat went back to them. Nope.
And it's like literally standing there finger pointing and wagging

(05:33):
and lecturing them about so called cinematic etiquette. I mean,
get the manager, get these people that work at the theater.
If they're a problem at all, don't go don't go
back there, like some nagging grandma not sitting there. It
was just some saris that she would.

Speaker 7 (05:50):
Do this, all right.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
I mean, you make a good point about grabbing an usher,
but I mean that's the one thing that drives you
crazy in the theater is people talking.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
It's like, if you want to talk and watch a
movie go home?

Speaker 1 (06:00):
All right, well let's I'll tell you what Brenda. The
other part of this is that May is actually listening
right now, so I'd like to bring her on.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Oh wow, okay man, yeah, hey hey, so he was
there a situation?

Speaker 5 (06:16):
I mean yeah, like kids were talking and being annoying
and like, I don't know, I can't focus on a
movie if people are being disrupted. Are you really going
to get up and go get an usher and leave
the theater? No?

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Like, it's just you have to take things into.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
Your own hands.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
What are you, Charles Bronson? I mean no, you don't.
It's a movie like what you did? Get better? You started?
What is what essentially turned into an argument.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
Because it's ridiculous. We paid a lot of money to
be in there. It's a lot of money to go
see the movie nowadays.

Speaker 6 (06:47):
I just want you to put things into perspective. There
was no big deal. There's just a couple of teenagers,
you know, having fun, and they weren't that disruptive, and
you really just kind of went overboard on them.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
You know, Brent, if you enjoy chaos and disrespect, why
don't you date one of those teenagers?
