Variety from the two thousands, thenineties, and today it's Star one to
one three, It's Marcus and Coreyand it's back, y'all. Second date
update. Here we go. Thisis when we try to find out why
you're not getting a second date. And it's funny because you know, we
always get that phone call that sayseverything went great, nothing was wrong,
and then you know, he tellsher how he's a mortician and how he's
going to address her when she dies. That happened, That happened anyway,

(00:22):
What a great lead in for Sandra. Sandra, you there, I'm here.
We literally had a guy who wasa mortician explained to his date how
he would embalm her and do hermeg up on their first date. And
I just I can't. I don'tknow how I get through my day after

(00:43):
stuff like that. Anyway. Ifeel like I should be surprised, but
I've been on the applog enough tonot be surprised, right, Okay,
so why don't we talk about Sean? So tell us how you guys met
and then tell us about your firstdate. Okay, so the app's hinge
Um. Honestly, I've been havingI've been like setting my parameters to try

(01:07):
to meet people as like close tome as possible. Um. I feel
like, honestly, anything that's morethan like twenty minutes, especially you know
in the beginning is like not goingto work. Um. Yeah, so
I live in Walnut Creek. Helives in Walnut Creek. I was very
excited that a attractive, uh youknow guy popped up who is local and

(01:34):
lives in Walnut Creek. Um.So you know we had, um,
you know, a date that waslike a five minute drive away, which
was also great. Um. Andthen you know, bonus on top of
all this, he like seems likea cool, like interesting guy. He
works out, he volunteers at ananimal shelter. Like he's hot, he's

(02:00):
a good dude. Um. Youknow, we it was simple, straightforward
first date, like we just gotsome pizza in in Walnut Creek. Um,
and it things felt natural and niceand you know, I mean like
it's the first date. It didend a little awkwardly where it was like

(02:22):
do we hug, do we shakehands? Do we kiss? Um?
What ended up happening. Yeah,we did hug, but it was a
little awkward. I think maybe hewas thinking more handshake and I was thinking
more hug, but we did hug. But that to me wasn't like a

(02:45):
big deal because it is the firstdate. You know, things do get
a little awkward. The date itselfwas good. Um, so I you
know, he didn't text me,but I did text him, but then
he didn't risk fat and it wasa good date. So here's what we're
gonna do. Let's call Sean andsee what's going on and hopefully cross your

(03:07):
fingers get you a second date.Okay, yeah, I'm good. All
right, we're gonna do that afterthis song. It's a second date updates
Star one one three more variety fromthe two thousands than nineties, and today
it's Star one on one three. It's Marcus and Corey. We're doing second
date update. We've been talking toSandra, yes, and she's just excited
because Sean lives in want a Creaklike she does, close neighborhood so she

(03:29):
doesn't have to drive over a bridge. Yeah, Sandra, feels like you've
been traumatized with too many long distanceconnections or something I have. Yeah,
all right, so let's call Seanand see what happened. Why he's we
feel like he's dodging a second date. So let's give him a shout.
Do me a favor. Hit muteon your phone. He will be able
to hear you. But here wego. Okay, okay, Hello,

(04:00):
Hi, may speak with Sean. Please? Hi. This is Sean.
Hi Sean, It's Marcus and Coreyfrom star Win to Win three. What's
up Sean? Hi? How areyou? I'm okay? How are you
good? Do you listen to ourradio show? I'm aware of it.
Yeah. Okay. So we're doinga segment called second Date Update. We

(04:20):
would love for you to participate. It's our dating segment. Okay, sure,
which date is this referring to?Um? So we want to ask
you about your date with Sandra becauseshe would love to go out with you
again, and to her, it'sfeeling a little dodgy. So how do
we lock this down? Tell usabout the date from your perspective. First

(04:42):
of all, well, UM,I mean it felt pretty good initially.
You know, all I saw washer photo on the app first, and
so we talked like that, youknow, via message and stuff, and
I got a really good vibe initially, and you know, after a little
bit, we thought it'd be coolbecause we live in the same area,
you know, walle that creek,so getting someone close is a lot better.

(05:03):
And sure, I totally understood howgreat that would be, you know.
So we agreed to meet up andthen I don't know, I was
kind of thrown off when I gotthere and I saw her and she was
a gorgeous, very attractive but andI'm not like a conservative dude like that,
per se. But she's got youknow, a really short short,

(05:26):
super short shorts on. You know, we're like her butt was sticking out,
and she was wearing like a topwhere it was pretty you know,
like her her whole stomach was showingand stuff, but just a lot of
skin. I figured for like thefirst date, I didn't I mean,
I'm not sure if if I'm beinga little uh, you know, prude
about it or something. I don'tthink so. So it was really kind

(05:46):
of prized, so like too risquefor you. Is that the issue?
I mean, not necessarily on likethe third fourth date, perhaps we've gotten
to know each other, but forthe first date it seemed like a lot.
But she said she's a good lookinglike she can pull it off right,
very attractive. Yes, absolutely,And I mean I'm like, I
work out a lot too. I'mproud of my body. Get it.
Okay, here's the thing, Sandersactually listening right now? Um, sorry,

(06:12):
so I'm gonna I'm gonna pull heron, Sandra. Yeah, apparently
you were too hot for the table. So I'm sorry. This is that
is the most ridiculous thing I've everheard. Um what like what is this
like nineteen twenty like eighteen eighty like? Also it was hot. I mean,

(06:38):
that's just why I just can't getover. How could somebody be so
conservative and prudish? Um? Andhow dare you, you know, cast
judgments on what I'm wearing. I'ma grown woman. I do have a
good body. I'm proud of it. You know, it was hot,

(07:00):
Sandraw, what was hotter you orWalnut Creek asking? I would say me,
okay, look back to Sean justmaybe it made him uncomfortable. I'm
not sure where to go from here. I mean, is it something that
you can get over or is thiswhat me I can't get I don't know

(07:25):
if that was a question for me, But I don't want to beat somebody
who's best small minded and conservative. That's ridiculous. Before I'm allowed to like
show my shoulder? Is that?Is that how you like expect women to
behave around you? I was actuallyasking Sean, but now we have our
answer. This makes it simple, all right, not a match. Hang

(07:47):
on you guys, hang on,wow, what just happened? I just
think, you know, everybody hastheir own sense of style, everybody's got
their type. Second Data Update it'sseven oh five. Weekday mornings replays it
nine oh five. And of coursethe podcast, don't forget, it's on
the iHeartRadio app. It's literally calledMarcus and Corey Second Date Update. Go
