Speaker 1 (00:00):
More variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
it's Star one on one three. It's Marcus and Corey
and we're back with second Date Update.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Welcome everyone.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
It's our dating segment where we try to help you
snag that second date. You think everything was fine right
and we try to figure out why they're not getting
back to you.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
It was very succinct. Corey Foley, thank you, SA. Good
morning to Sean.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Sean, Hello, Hello, Hello, So tell us about Cassie. I
understand it was extra exciting because she loves sports.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
Yeah, that's actually the biggest reason I was looking forward
to the date.

Speaker 6 (00:35):
We chatted a little bit online beforehand.

Speaker 5 (00:37):
It was mostly.

Speaker 6 (00:38):
About Dug City, So I mean we're just basically talking
Warriors the whole time, right man, shit knows basketball, so
I can watch some playoff ball with her. So we
end up going to a sports bar in Sunny Vale
and you know, had some tacos, had some drinks, super casual,
real chill.

Speaker 7 (00:55):
The game was exciting.

Speaker 6 (00:56):
You know, I felt like she was super easy to
talk to, roll down to.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
But yeah, I don't know what happened.

Speaker 6 (01:01):
I felt like the day went gray. She said she
had a good time. Oh yeah, she's not texting me
back right now.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Sean seems stoke yet frustrated.

Speaker 7 (01:09):
So she loves basketball, right?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Oh yes, let's go to Cory's theory please.

Speaker 7 (01:12):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
She gets recruited by the Looney Tunes to help them
win a basketball match against invading aliens intent on enslaving
them as amusement park attractions.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I know this one. It's space jam.

Speaker 7 (01:25):
That's it, two for two this week, bailed it.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I mean it could happen, Sean, that's what happened.

Speaker 6 (01:34):
That would be an easy explanation.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
All right, I'll tell you what. We're going to call
her and we'll figure it out. We'll have you on
the line, so you'll have to mute. I know you've
heard it before, and now it's your turn. So let's
see if we could figure it out. Can you hang
on for a song?

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Hell yeah, all right, we'll do it.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
Next.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Second Date Updates Star one on one three, Well variety
from the two thousands, the nineties, and today Star.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
One on one three.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
It's Marcus and Corey doing Second Date Update. We've got
Sean on the phone. He and Cassie went to check
out one of the Dubs games at a sports bar. Yeah,
in Sunny Vale.

Speaker 7 (02:03):
Who could afford the tickets of the actual game?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
And again, we have to make this happen because Sean
needs a lady that likes basketball. Yes, this is all accurate, Sean. Okay,
she's ghosted, so let's call her to try to figure
it out. Go ahead and meet your phone, my man,
here we go.

Speaker 7 (02:23):
I may speak with Cassie. Please.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Hi, Cassie, It's Marcus and Corey from Star one O
one three.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
Hey.

Speaker 7 (02:32):
Hi, Oh my gosh, what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Are you busy?

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Now? I'm just actually got me a coffee?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
But excellent.

Speaker 7 (02:42):
Hey do you listen to the show?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (02:45):
I do. Yeah, that's why I know exactly who you
guys are. That's cool.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Hey, so we're doing second date update.

Speaker 7 (02:52):
We would like to invite you to participate.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Oh okay, that's a reluctant.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Okay, you had a day recently that maybe you may
or made out of ghosted on maybe.

Speaker 7 (03:06):
Sean, Yes, come on down.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yeah, Sean, you can unmute. It's fine.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Safe.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
Hello, Hey, Cassie, you pick it? You can't pick up
the phone. That's crazy.

Speaker 7 (03:17):
Let's not start off aggressive.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
So here we are, Cassie, I understand you like basketball
and that you guys went to go watch the Dubs
play a sports in Sunnyvale and then you disappeared or
maybe not. Have you been busy or what's going on?
What can you tell us about that? Sean would love
to take you out again.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Well, I just like I had You're a sweet guy.
When we watched the courts, it was like a whole
different person. You were just way too agro it and
too much about the game, and I just did something.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Did something happen?

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Well? He just he started drinking and yelling at the
TV and the restaurant, and it just it was embarrassing. Honestly.
I was just kind of just like, what is happening?
Like we're all watching a game, and yes, it's like
it can get rowdy, but it's yelling at the TV.
And we're also like we were at a bar, but
it was like a bar restaurant thing, so like there
were people that weren't there for the game, and oh,

(04:17):
it was really like embarrassed and kind of like I
don't know, just every time the does screwed up, he
like would literally lose his mind and really loud. And
there was also like a couple of fans from Minnesota there,
and they started cheering for the other team, and he
started to drown them out and like clouding them, like
was like screaming over top of them, and I was

(04:40):
just really uncomfortable.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
So would you say, as a family restaurant, I've been
to this place, Oh, it's fantastic, But would there be
kids there?

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Potentially?

Speaker 6 (04:49):
Sure?

Speaker 7 (04:50):
Okay, because I wouldn't want him doing that in front of kids.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Okay, Sean, we've got some clarity. So maybe you were
a little too aggressive.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
I guess that's clarity. I'm more confused. I wasn't. That
doesn't make any sense. First of all, we show up.
If you're a Warriors fan, you're gonna show up during
a playoff game, and you're gonna get a little rowdy.
If you're from Minnesota and you're coming into our city
and you're trying to rep Minnesota in front of us,
that's not gonna happen. I thought you were a basketball fan, Jeff.

(05:20):
You told me you love the Warriors. I'm surprised that
you're surprised about my aggression. And I mean, I won't
even call it that more passion. I'm a passionate, normal fan.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
I feel like it was over the top. I was
like embarrassed. I just I was just thinking of like
going again to something like this, or like sharing the
fact that I do love basketball, having to watch a
game with him and this same scenario happening. I just
say I was my body, Okay, okay. I mean I

(05:52):
can't even imagine how you were last night when they lost.

Speaker 7 (05:55):
All Right.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
I think you're a really decent guy, Sean. I just like,
if we're public and you can't keep your emotions in check,
I can't do it. I'm sorry.
