I guess maybe we can get some good news for
you today. Maybe we can find a second date. I
want you to tell us about Alicia, Like, how you
guys met and what did you do for your date?
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Well? We met on an app, you know, like many
people do. Sure, and I thought the date went pretty well.
We grabbed Sushia san mateo.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Uh huh.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
I thought she was just awesome, gorgeous, smart, super sharp
and witty. We had a lot of fun. I thought
we vibed right away. We were, you know, drinking sake
bombs and oh.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
My god, the night went on. You guys were bonding.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Yeah, it was great. We even kissed in the parking
lot afterwards. I thought that meant we were doing something
and we were going somewhere.
Speaker 5 (01:01):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
She was amazing and then I don't know, she just
goes to me. I really don't get it.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Okay, Corey, do you have any idea what happened to Alicia?
Speaker 4 (01:08):
Well?
Speaker 2 (01:09):
I think Alicia went on a last minute vacation, you know,
with some family, uh huh. And it's like a fishing
weekend at a Wisconsin lakeside cabin and she's having a
great time. But then one of the other relatives crashes
the trip, you know, not even invited, just shows up
with his whole family, and they're obnoxious and they kind
(01:31):
of ruined the whole thing. And so she's gone on
another vacation to get away from these people.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Trevor thoroughly enjoying himself.
Speaker 6 (01:41):
Great outdoors, Great outdoors, gossic yanking one from the eighties. Yeah,
all right, let's move on, Trevor. I hope we've lighted
the mood a bit. Let's see if we can find Alicia.
I'd love to get you a second date. Man, We're
gonna call her. Let's play a song. We'll call her
with you on the phone. Can you hang out for.
Speaker 3 (02:00):

and today Star one O one three. It's Marcus and Corey.

with Trevor about his date with Alisha. Uh. They went
for sushi and Samontao and they had sake bombs. Why
wouldn't this work out?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
You know what I mean? Trevor, You're still there, I'm
still here. You ready to make this phone call?
Speaker 3 (02:26):

Okay, you already know the gig. Trevor's listening in. Yeah,
and we want to talk about your first date. Trevor.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
You there, Yeah, I'm here.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
No, So I mean, we're all here, we're all adults. Alicia,
did you ghost? Because he said he had a great
time and you guys even kissed in the parking lot,
so like we're trying to figure out what happened.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
Yeah, I did, okay ghost, you know, apologies, but it
was it was just a little bit strange for me.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
I guess, okay.
Speaker 6 (03:50):
Eight.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
So we're at a sushi restaurant and the first course
or plate or whatever arrives at the table and he
pulls out like a little carrying case that has his
own chopsticks, and I just he pulls those out and
that's fine. It was just a little odd. And then,
like whenever there was.
Speaker 7 (04:11):
A dull moment or just like a lull, a natural
lull in the conversation, he's just over and over was
humming the top gun thing to him, like a song
to himself.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
From the soundtrack.
Speaker 7 (04:21):
From the soundtrack, Yeah, like like danger Zone. It was
he just kept humming danger Zone.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
So you're literally sitting there eating and it's.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
I don't think I would have done Danger Zone. I
would have maybe hummed like the beginning when they're like
scanning the runways and way cooler.
Speaker 8 (04:39):
Yeah, it was bizarre, but you know whatever. And then
about three quarters through the like quarters of the way through,
we're kind of sitting by a window and like these
it's a car pulls up and the headlights are blasted,
and I'm like, man, who would do that?
Speaker 7 (04:55):
It's so rude. And he was like, oh, that's that's
just my ex.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
And why was she there?
Speaker 7 (05:04):
Well, she was just sitting there for a while, uh huh.
And she even like waves at some point and he
waved back, and I was like, I don't know what.
I don't know what is going on here. It was
so bizarre, and I just didn't really know how to react,
so I didn't say anything. I was like, Okay, maybe
this girl's weird. Hopefully he'll explain this. And then after
(05:24):
the date, he goes in to kiss me, and I'm
just kind of stunned and shocked and like feel like
I'm floating in space because they don't really know what's
going on. It's weird. And he goes in to kiss
me and I just didn't really feel like dodging, and
so yes, we did kiss, but I did not initiate.
And then afterwards he just just went went and got
(05:46):
in the car, went and got in the car with
his X. So I was a little weird speaking him up.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
Was she there to give him a hold of Okay,
all right, all right, time out, Trevor. Yeah, Uh, why
you get in the car with your ex? Can you
explain that part of it?
Speaker 5 (06:04):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Well, we're like roommates now. I mean, yeah, she's my ex,
but you know, we still have to you know, we're
still like living with each other. She's my roommate, you know,
until the lease is over, and it's like platonic now,
like brother and sister. Almost. There's nothing weird about it.
She just was giving me a ride and like I said,
until my lease runs out. And other than that, my
(06:26):
car was in the shop. So I wanted to do
the date, but I didn't want to like tell her
all this drama about everything else. So I was like,
just wait outside and when the date's over, we'll go
back to our house if it doesn't work out, you know,
And it's not that big of a deal. She's not
my girlfriend or anything. Anymore.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Was uber not an option? Oh yeah, I guess it was.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
I just don't like waiting outside for like an uber.
I just kissed her. It's the way, why linger, you know, I.
Speaker 7 (06:56):
Think maybe that would have been less weird than getting
in your ex's car.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Just from my perspective, that's yeah, that's a optics or
everything on our first date, Trevor, and you're you're certain
there's nothing there, Trevor, Like, it's just.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Absolutely she's dating someone else, not her and I are
not a thing anymore.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Okay, just my roommate and you're going to move out
after the lease is up, exactly. Okay. Knowing all of this, Alicia,
would you look past it? Did you have a good
enough time to warrant a second date?
Speaker 5 (07:29):
The situation just seems a little odd. I think maybe
it's just for someone else. It was very weird that
your ex was sitting in a car and could see
us enough to the point where you guys waved at
each other. It just seems like that's the potential for
drama or something messy. So I think it's going to
be a nil for me.
