Speaker 1 (00:00):
More variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and to date.
It's Star one on one three, It's Marcus and Corey
wrapping up the week strong with second Date Update again.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Second Date Update is where we talked to you about
a date you went on. We try to figure out
why you're not getting a second date.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yeah, I gotta say, what's up to Victor this morning?
Good morning, Victor? Are you there?
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Hey, good morning? Yeah, thanks for having me.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Sure we want to hear all about April. Obviously I
understand she has disappeared on you. Let's try to get
to the bottom of it. But let's start with like
how you guys met and then what you did on
your first date.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Yeah, so we actually met on match and a little
bit of chatting, not much, but we decided to meet
up to go bowling.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Oh where Daily City? Oh? On king? Was it on
a Wednesday? You would have run into my wife's league.
Your wife has a lead your friends on Wednesdays? Does
she have her own ball? I don't want she doesn't
do league. Oh, she'll just go to drink. Well, sorry,
we're getting off track. Yeah, that's a great Actually.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
On a Wednesday, it was like most of the freaking
bowling alley was taken up by like people actually bowling, right.
But it was a good.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Time, yeah, okay, nice, and the vibe was cool.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yeah, I mean I thought like I felt like the
vibe was, you know, playful. I swore she was smiling
at me the whole time.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Okay, but she's gone.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
But she's gone. I have not talked to her since.
I don't know what happened. She's disappeared, Corey, do you
know what happened?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Well, what I'm thinking is that ever since a young age,
her father has drilled into her head that monogamy is
not realistic, and so it's hard for her to commit
to one person. And as much as she enjoys an
uninhibited life free of commitment, she's in a rut, you know.
So she's met this guy, they go bowling, and she
(01:52):
realizes maybe.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
She needs to clean up her act.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
So she's she's gone off to to make things right,
get better.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Is the most ambiguous. It's a little ambiguous.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
I mean, by.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Non zero chance. That's a movie. It's a movie. That's
one of my favorite movies. No idea. If anybody knows,
please leave it, talk back. We got to get back
to Victor's love life. Victor, we're gonna have you on
the line, you know this when we call April and
uh see if we can figure some things out. Can
you hang on?
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Oh yeah, definitely?
Speaker 1 (02:24):

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Great Second date update Star one one three. We'll do
it next more variety from the two thousands, the nineties
and today it's Star one O one three. It's Marcus
and Corey and we're doing second date Update. We've been
chatting with Victor about his date with April, and they
did something kind of unconventional, to be honest, midweek bowling
in Daily City. There's a there's a there's a bowling
alley on King that obviously everybody goes to because they're
(05:13):
unfortunately are shutting down. But that sounds like fun to me. Victor.
I gotta be honest, I think it's a great first date.
And to his point, she was smiling the whole time.
So let's try to figure this out. Victor, I'm assuming
you're already muted out.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
I will.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Now let's call April and see if we can get
you a second date or at least some answers. Here
we go, Hello him, speak with April please. Yeah, this
is April.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
It's Marcus and Corey from Star one one three.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Yeah, okay, I know what this is.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Oh god, I know what this is.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
You mean, Yeah, we're calling about second date update?
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Yeah, yeah, I know all about it. You guys are great.
This is very funny.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Correct, I'm on it now. Let's be vesties. So, uh
we bring your date on now or later? Yeah, Victor, Victor.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Hey, wow, okay.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
So okay, here we are. If you listen to the show, April,
you know why he's calling. So let's just break it down. Uh,
what was wrong with the Bowling date? Or let me
ask Let me ask the question first? Did you ghost?
If so, why?
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (06:29):
I think you guys will get it in a second.
I just got the ick like immediately because he put
the kiddie bumpers up, saying it's like part of his
strategy and bumpers that you literally cover up the gutters
of the bowling you can't.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Yeah, so that way you can't gut call Oh okay,
it's like a life size pinball missione okay, okay.
Speaker 4 (06:52):
Weirdly, more importantly, the thing that I just like could
not get past you guys is he licked his fingers
every throat. Oh, like he was a boulder warming up energy,
and like you would lick his fingers and then stick
them in that those nasty germ filled holes before bowling
each time.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
I wish you guys could see the look on Corey's
face right now. I'm I am that disgusting. I can't imagine.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
You know, they don't clean those holes.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
That's correct, That is correct.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
I mean it's hard to have putting on those shoes. Okay,
I get it. I've heard enough, Victor.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Why the need to lick your fingers? I don't even
like saying that. I don't even like saying that.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
What lick your fingers, lack your fingers, lick your fingers,
put them in the bowling ball. Victor answers, Yeah, that's
what they do.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
That's how bowler were they. I mean, it's just you
don't put your fingers all the way in the hole.
You just grip the bowling ball. It's not a big deal.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Like I mean, it's a huge deal, and I definitely
don't think bowlers do that. That's disgusting. People would be
sn they wouldn't be bolling, maybe sick. Oh my god,
I don't. Why why are we doing this? This is
so insane?
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Was he purelling his fingers in between wholesticks?
Speaker 3 (08:03):
No?
Speaker 2 (08:06):
I mean you're a guy, Marcus who who believes in
germs being everywhere and building up your immune You're you're
a sack of dirt. Do you agree with this?
Speaker 1 (08:20):
No? I can't.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
What's wrong with a few germs? I mean, I'm just
building up my immune system. You guys are making this
into a way bigger deal than it really is.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
This is like so silly, I don't There's there's nothing
you can say right now. My friend, this is disgusting.
That's why it ghoested you.
