Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time to start second date update. We might as

(00:01):
well just bring our guy on right now. Nico is
on the phone.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Good morning, Nico, Hey, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
How you doing?

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Im good man? How are you all right?

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Man?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Outside of being ghosted? I guess yeah, right, yeah, I don't.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
I'm not quite understanding why she ghosted me. Okay, because
the date was dope, it was amazing.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Okay, well let me set it up. So your date's
name is Jessica. You guys went out for sushi. I'm
just greeting off your DM here. Tell me about the
date itself.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
So we hit it off instantly, you know, like you
just click on all cylinders, okay, especially like over like
eighties music, Like it's really hard to find somebody in
their dirties who loved eighties music like I do. Like
what's a throwback man? And another thing on top of that,
she loves pineapples on her pizza.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Which that's a green flag.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
That's either a green flag or fighting words. I can't
decide some days.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
In this instance, it was definitely a green flag, right,
And man, I was like, I'm look and it felt
like we just knew each other.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Like pretty natural. It felt pretty natural.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Yeah, it's so natural, supernatural, you know. And like she
even like got one of my atamammee pods. I was
talking about those green pea looking things, uh huh, and
she ate into it, and I guess it was like
too spicy for her or something because she made like
this cute face. But she had like a bit of
soy sauce like on the side of her chin, and
it just felt natural. So I kind of just went

(01:26):
in and just wiped it off, you know. And it
was just like we knew each other.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Like for years. Okay, and she's ghosted huh.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
And yeah, now, like I can't get any response from her,
Like I'm not getting any text messages, she's not returning
the calls.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
It's Marcus. We're doing second date update.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
We've been chatting with Nico about his day with Jessica
and they went out for sushi. It all sounds super cute.
I'm not gonna lie. And we found out she likes
pineapple on her pizza, which it's a green flag as
you said, Nico, for you, thank god, otherwise the day
might have been open way sooner.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
All right, let's call or see what's going on.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
I'm ready.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
All right, go ahead and mute your phone. Here we go. Hello, Hi,
is this Jessica?

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
She Hi. My name is Marcus. I'm calling from Star
one O one three. I do the morning show. How
are you okay?

Speaker 4 (02:23):
I'm pretty good?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Are good? I don't suppose you listen to my show?
Do you nice? Sorry? I don't mean to catch you
off guard. Do you have a minute to be on
the radio with us?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Wait a minute?

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Is this the second date update?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yes, we want to ask you about your date with Nico.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Nico are you there, Hey, jes I do like bringing
people back together, so Jessica, Nico said he had a
good time.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
He wants to take you out again.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
You know why we're here, right if you listen like
we're just I'm just trying to see if we can
make a second date happen. I'm hoping there's some kind
of misunderstanding or maybe you've just been busy. How was
the date for you?

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Right? Well, the first half of the date, it was
absolutely so much fun, like we really had a lot
of things in common. Definitely right, I heard. But then
somewhere between the second sake and the check I literally
saw like red flags anyways, I was. I was asking
him basic questions about his job, like anybody normally would,

(03:23):
and he was just like, I'm a consultant and just
kept kind of like talking in circles when i't really
like asked another question. It was kind of getting like
too much. I tried to change the subject out, like
to make it like not weird, but it kind of
was already weird. Okay, he just starts going on and
on about that, like really just in circles, and then.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
For work exactly, yeah, okay.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
So then I just changed the subject on it because
it was already like okay, like get it. You're not
going to like really go like more into it. And
then the bill came around and then the waitress like
she said, your card is a kind she kind of
like too blow, is that it really to us? So
that like respectfully so no one else could hear, and
she said that it was questioned for fraud. In that moment,

(04:07):
like my face turned red. I was like, I mean,
it wasn't my card, but still my face turned red. Sure,
And then I don't know if his face got read too,
but it seemed like he got pretty flustered. So I
was like Okay, you know, like, let me go to
the bathroom really quick. I went to the bathroom and
then I googled him, And I know I probably should
have really done this before, but I'm just trying to

(04:27):
trust people a little bit more nowadays, right, and not
immediately like google them or see like what they do
and everything like that. So either way, I yeah, I
went to the bathroom and I googled him, and then
I came like I found some stuff out. But either way, I.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Came back and wait, what kind of stuff?

Speaker 4 (04:44):
I actually found out that he has been arrested before
for like what the lady was saying, the credit card fraud.
I came back and he kind of like he was
still flustered, and he kept on claiming that his assistant
messed up and how like she could have like mixed
accept the accounts. And then he asked the waitress if
he could vent all her instead.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Okay, hang on, Nico, this is a lot of things.
So what do you do for work? Exactly?

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Yeah, I'm an entrepreneur if anything. Okay, I have an
assistant that works with me. I mean, Jessica, you shouldn't
have to worry about the whole thing being denied or
anything like that. That happens all the time. If you
had any questions, all you had to do is ask
me straight up what about?

Speaker 4 (05:31):
What about? I was asking you questions, and what about
the part about you like getting in trouble for actually
the credit cards fraud? Like what was that about?

Speaker 3 (05:40):
That was in my past and it kind of just
follows me throughout life and I'm over that. That's been
years ago. It's a misunderstand.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Okay, So can you explain your job like a little
bit more.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
It's just more of I just handle people's businesses and
make sure their business are in order and making sure,
like you know, everybody's take the proper precautions on right
on haw the you know, fall the policy and things
like that.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Hey, can you guys hang on for a second. Yep,
thank you, Jessica you there. I'm here, So I've got
Nico on hold. You're right. He does talk in circles. Yeah, okay,
that's exactly.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
What I'm saying, exactly why I didn't want to go
on another date. I kind of them talk to him
about it.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and I'll let him go.
And I appreciate you listening. Every morning, and I get
it now.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Yeah, thank you for being on my side about that.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Sure, hang on. Wow okay, Second date update
