Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now let's get to the host of the rab Astorino
Show on WOR Saturday is from four to five, the
host of Saturday Agenda one to three on Newsmax on Saturday,
and former Westchester County executive Rob Astorno. Rob, there is
so much going on. I just want to talk about
something that sickens me. We had the killing of that
(00:24):
beautiful young Jewish couple down in Washington, d C. And
then the next day there are chants of free, Free
Palestine at Columbia once again. You'd think they'd take a break.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
No, it's in their DNA and they've been encouraged to
do this for the last five years since. You know,
this is what the fifth anniversary of the George Floyd
death today, I believe it is. And think about what
changed that moment. I mean literally rock the world. But
what was allowed to happen in this country where they
were allowed to, you know, attack federal buildings, burned down cities,
(01:03):
tear down statues. They were able to get away with
changing the culture and everything was dei now and corporations.
Everything changed because it was allowed to change. There was
no pushback, there were no repercussions. The federal government at
that time. Certainly under you know, Trump was pushing back
at that point, but it was kind of useless because
(01:26):
culturally and and you know, societally, everything was moving. And
then of course Biden cemented it just allowed everything to continue. Thankfully,
five years later, we're getting that pushback again now where
Trump and his dj are starting to go after colleges
like Harvard and Columbia, rip it away, the DEI nonsense,
(01:48):
and in the civil just in the Civil Rights Department,
they're actually going after these people. But they've been allowed
to get away with it. So it doesn't surprise me.
The anti semit you know, anti Semitic behaviors, uh is
now a major part of the Democratic Party. I mean,
look at look at the silence throughout all of this
stuff by the Democrats. So no, I'm not surprised.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
No, I'm not surprised either. I'm surprised they haven't come
out like they did for all the criminals that were
being deported and supported Elias Rodriguez I because there have
been such so much on the wrong side of every
single issue. But I guess this, this exposes a deep
vein of anti Semitism in all these protests because when
(02:36):
Elias Rodriguez was taken in uh to the police headquarters
in Washington, d C. He was channing free, free, free
Palestine over and over again.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yeah, and he you know, he was ready to reload
and do more and again. It's just it's putting a
spotlight on what we've all been seeing. But you know,
half the country or the half that voted against Trump
or support the Democrats that they were part of, you know,
turning a blind eye to and kind of allowing. And
(03:10):
they were the same people that allowed the cover up
of Joe Biden, you know, understood that he's walking into walls,
but pretending that he wasn't, and then you know, pointing
a finger at us for even saying it. So I'm
not surprised by any of this. We're having a reckoning
in this country, and it's about time, because you know,
the reality is clashing with the Democratic mindset of the
(03:32):
unreality of the world that they live in and wanted
us and forced us to live in for quite a while.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Hey, we should do a shout out to the Republican
congressmen and women in New York who did a great
job standing firm and getting the rise on the salt
deduction cap to forty thousand dollars. That's going to be
in this bill. That means so much for the people
of New Jersey and New York. You have to admit they.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Did a wonder job they did. I mean, Mike Lawler
stood firm under enormous pressure. Nicko Lolota Garbarino, I mean
they all did. And I was getting I don't know
about you, but I was on a mailing list. I
was getting it every day. We were getting multiple mailers
from these you know, leftist groups going after Mike Lawler
(04:22):
on everything. You know, and if it's not salt is
not raised to an unlimited amount, you know, no matter
what he did, he wasn't gonna be able to win.
That's that we're trying to set it up. But they
stood firm, and you know, they got a good deal. Now,
whether it will last, that's the problem. Because this has
to go to the Senate, they're going to start tearing
it apart. You have pretty much fierce opposition on the
(04:45):
Republican side on any cuts in medicaid or changes to medicaid.
You know, the right to work some of these things,
the Green New Deal stuff and the salt stuff. So
once they do their version, then it's got to go
back to the House for the reconciliation. That's going to
be another nightmare.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
It sounds like there's finally going to be an investigation,
not only a House investigation, but it has been referred
to the FBI. The White House cover up of the
mental decline of Joe Biden. John Cronin has now made
a referral to the FBI asking for Patel to take
(05:24):
a look to see if there was any criminal charges
that could be brought against the people that covered up
his mental decline and his health problems as well. And
they're going to call the doctors in front of the House.
This has been a long time coming.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Rub Oh, I can't wait to find out whose hand
was operating the auto pen and signing legislation, signing executive orders,
issuing pardons, making appointments to the federal judiciary, all of
whom now, of course, is blocking everything Johnald Trump's trying
to do. I would love to know who did that
in the name of Joe Biden. I wish Jane Piro
(05:57):
would get this case. That would be that would be
the best.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
No, she probably would, if you.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Think you might she could. She could as the US
Attorney for the District of Columbia. It could be it
could be in her wheelhouse. But I mean, there's every
incentive for Cash, Bettel and the FBI and DJ to
really and truly look into this. And you know, I
have a lot of faith in Representative Comer and Jordan
(06:26):
and those guys who were really leading the way on
the Biden corruption when they were not in charge of
the House. And of course it went nowhere. Nobody would
pay attention, neither the media, of course, nor the Democrats
in charge. But they were right and they provided a
lot of evidence on the shady deals of the Biden family.
All of this now has an avenue to actually be prosecuted,
(06:50):
and I think people should be prosecuted otherwise, again, what's
the incentive to do it again? Why not if there's
gonna be no recriminations.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
I absolutely agree with you, and also you brought it up.
The mainstream media does need some introspection. It was an
interesting story yesterday where Bob Iger himself and some of
the top people at Disney and at NBC talked to
the view and said, you've got to back off. This
isn't working. We're losing revenue and we're losing ratings. I
(07:20):
think there's a come up, and throughout CNN had the
same type of discussion. We'll see if they change, they
fight it every time they're told to change.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, well every time I turn it on, it seems
like it's twenty nineteen again. So I don't think they
have changed. It's because it's the same people there. It's
the same producers, bookers, talent, it's all the same.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Hey, real quick, what's coming up this weekend on your show?
Speaker 2 (07:45):
I definitely want to talk about the mayoral race and
what a fraud Cuomo is. What a chameleon that guy is,
and he's going to get away with it. He's going
to get away with it.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
We'll get away with what exactly. He's going to get
away with everything he did when he was governor. Because
it sounds like there's going to be an investigation. Should
I possibly charges on that?
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Yeah, there won't be. And he and it's the greatest
thing for him because all the COVID talk is gonna
go away. It's gonna be Woe is me. I'm taking
on Donald Trump. That's the golden ticket and the Democratic
primary taken on Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
So oh, he put an ad out, He's got an ad.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Yep, yep, all right.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
