Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the weekend, and welcome to some beautiful weather.
You heard the weather report just a second ago. But
let me tell you. What I have here in front
of me is a long range forecast, and it says
a long run of dry and milder to warmer weather.

(00:20):
So we're going to have a streak of several days
in a row right through the weekend. So it's going
to be a gorgeous weekend. So no matter what else
is going on today, just remember the weekend is going
to be beautiful and that is something to celebrate it
as a matter of fact, that should lead off for Big Three,
But nope. In the Big Three. The New York Times

(00:41):
story claiming Donald Trump is working behind the scenes and
talking with independent candidate former Governor Andrew Cuomo to defeat
Socialist Democratic candidates or in mom Donnie, that is still
dominating the news and still dominating the mayor's race.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I don't recall the last time I spoke with him.
I left the message after the attempted assassination. I don't
believe I spoke with him. I believe I left the
message for him.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Well, that just doesn't ring true. We'll get into that
in the second, but political analyst JC Polanco will be
with us at eight o five to talk about this
new twist in the race. Nobody saw this one coming.
In Harlem, there are now eighty one diagnosed with Legionnaire's disease,
twenty three are in the hospital and three are dead.

(01:33):
And you can catch it just by walking past certain
buildings in Harlem.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
The most commonplace for the bacteria to grow is in
cooling towers, which are on top of buildings. These cooling
towers spray missed or droplets, and that miss is outdoors
and can carry bacteria. Right now, the risk to central
Harlem community at large is not limited to any specifics.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
So listen to that. That was the health secretary. I
will tell you that the Secretary of Health. I'll tell
you what. It's a myss that falls from the buildings
that you can breathe in and get Legionella disease. But
the important thing here is also if someone has it
and you're around them, you can't get it from them.
The disease cannot spread person to person. A mystery in

(02:23):
Montalk after a thirty three year old Manhattan fashion designer
Martha was found unconscious. Martha Hawk was found unconscious on
a boat in the exclusive Mantaw Yacht Club. Efforts to
revive her have failed.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
You have someone who's in a private life at thirty
three years old, a successful business woman at that young age,
and now she's in the middle of Montauk Yacht Club,
which is a highly risy area to be at on
a boat, expensive boat. These things just don't happen in
these neighborhoods.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Right.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Police are investigating, but they're not calling it's suspicious at
this point. Israeli President Benjamin Netanyah, who says he is
pushing forward with plans to take control of all of Gaza.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
We intend to in order to assure our security, remove
Tramas there, enable the population to be free of Gaza,
and to pass it to civilian governance that is not
Tramas and not anyone advocating the destruction to visual.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
President Trump is going to meet with Russian President Vladimir
Putin to end the war in Ukraine next week. At
least he hopes that's what it's about. But Trump says,
and he insisted on this at first. Trump says, Vladimir
Zelensky does not need to be there.

Speaker 6 (03:42):
No, he doesn't, No, no, they would like to meet
with me, and I'll do whatever I can to stop
the killing.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Senator John Cordin says he has assurances now from the
FBI that agents will help get Texas legislators back to
Texas to vote on re districting, but reporters, they haven't
been able to verify that.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
We've repeatedly asked the FBI what this means. We've asked
for details about what this assistance looks like, and the
FBI has declined to comment repeatedly, so it's it's unclear
what they can do.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
ABC's Jim Ryan will be with us at seven p
thirty five with the latest from Texas economists and frequent
guest on Woor. Stephen Moore was in the Oval Office
to go through some great economic news.

Speaker 8 (04:30):
In his first five months in office, starting in January
through the end of June. The average median household income
adjusted for inflation for the average family in America is
already up and seventy four dollars.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
That's an very incredible number. The CEO of Investipedia, Caleb Silver,
will be with us at nine oh five to go
over all of the current economic figures and what they
exactly mean. And transportation. I love this story. Transportation advocates
athered did thirty fourth and First in Manhattan to prove

(05:04):
that the thirty fourth Street bus is too slow. So
they raced the bus, but by walking, they just walked
at a regular pace all the way to eighth Street.
So from First to eighth it took him fifteen minutes.
It took the bus twenty two minutes.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
That bus should be going, should do that distance in
five to six minutes max.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
And we're hoping that a busway will bring that. Yeah,
that's what it was all about, getting a bus laid
on the thirty fourth Street bus route, and this stunt
may just do that. Now, let's talk a little bit
more about the mayoral race, because it's changed. It's changed.
Andrew Cuomo has a Trump problem. And ever since The

(05:48):
New York Times came out and said that Donald Trump,
well we knew he was concerned about the race, but
he's been more involved in that behind the scenes, making
several phone calls talking about who was the best chance
of winning. If he can clear the field and get
some other candidates out of the race, who would have
the best chance, And it turned out the answer kept
coming up. It's Andrew Cuomo, former Governor.

Speaker 9 (06:09):
Cuomo has been conspiring with President Trump about the fate
of this city, about the future of this city.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yeah, so, Zorimamdani has been running on this. Isn't it amazing?
In New York City? Not many other places in the country,
but in New York City, when the President of the
United States of America's name is mentioned, it's a bad thing.
It's a bad thing because we are so far to

(06:39):
the left lunatic. Not you, I know you're not, but
like eighty percent of the people in the city are.
If you take away Staten Island, it's probably ninety percent.
And so the President of the United States. Now, you
would think having a mayor coming into office and having
an affiliation with the President of the United States would

(07:01):
be a good thing for the city. They don't care.
It is massive Trump derangement syndrome. It's in the air
in New York. Everybody has it. Almost everyone has it.
It afflicts eight out of ten people in this city.
So they don't care. They don't care that it makes
no sense that it would hurt the city to have

(07:24):
a mayor that's fighting with the president. They want it
because they don't like Trump. So if you're aligned with Trump,
then you're not going to win. It killed Mayor Adams.
The scandal wasn't that bad. If you remember, his poll
numbers were still pretty good. When President Biden was coming
after him because he opposed the migrants coming to New York,

(07:46):
he had the nerve to speak out against that, and
then he sick. The FBI owt and nobody cared about that.
Oh but as soon as Donald Trump helped them, that
was the death. K No, that was the problem. It
is bizarre. It is just bizarre. It's irrational. It's irrational
across the country, but it is absolutely real, and it's

(08:08):
causing Andrew Cuomo to say, I don't even know the guy.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
I don't recall the last time I spoke with him.
I left the message after the attempted assassination. I don't
believe I spoke with him. I believe I left the
message for him.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Okay, I completely call BS on that. That's just not true.
And here's why I know it's not true. And let's
just take everybody that's listening right now, you and you,
and you, and you take everybody. If you called the
president or somebody running for president, the former president after

(08:46):
an assassination attempt. Wouldn't you remember if you talked to him?
He said, I can't remember if I left the message.
I can't remember if I talked to him. That sure
sounds like a guy who is lying.

Speaker 9 (09:01):
We know that Andrew Cuomo will sell working people out
for his interests, for the interests of the billionaires that
supported him, for the interests of Donald Trump, because all
of those interests are lining up as one and the same.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Maybe Donald Trump did this on purpose so that the
Democrats would eat their own because they're after each other.
They're all attacking each other right now. Eric Adams is
in the background saying me too, Me too, me too.
He's in third place and fourth place in some polls.
But let me ask you something, if they keep going

(09:38):
after each other, doesn't that give Curtis Leewa a little
bit more of a chance. I mean, he's being left
out of this entire story. He's the only one that
can absolutely distance himself from Donald Trump and said that
Donald Trump should stay out of it, and he rings true,
and he comes into it with about twenty percent of
the vote because of the Republicans, they're going to vote,

(10:00):
So it's going to be interesting. I mean, you know,
Republicans vote, and so I think it makes the Courtius
leewacoundidacy even that more viable. We'll find out, but this
story's not going away anytime soon. Apparently a bear fell
in love with a sports mascot, which led to a

(10:23):
dangerous chase during a promotional video shoot. We'll tell you
what this is all about and how it turned out next.
And we all remember that one teacher who made a difference,
who believed in us, or challenged us, or just made
learning fun. Well, now is your chance to say thank

Nominate your favorite teacher now at iHeartRadio dot com slash teachers. Well,
welcome back, and thank you so much for your talkbacks, actually,
just thanks for being here today. In general, we really

(11:29):
appreciate the time you give us. The talkbacks have been
wonderful all week long, and of course today is the
day we're going to give away the talk back of
the week. And if you won Talkback of the Day
in the four previous days of this week, you're in
the running. And we'll decide who's in the running when
they win Talkback of the Day today. And let's start

(11:50):
with this one about safe cities and safe counties.

Speaker 10 (11:55):
I like to think that the fact that Nassau County
is the safest county in the country has to do
with that big giant R in Nassau County. Not too
many Democrats, plenty of Republicans.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
You know, I agree with you, and Bruce Blakeman's done
a great job. But it got me to thinking. It
really did get me to thinking about, you know, what
are the safest cities? And so I looked it up
and most of the really big cities don't make the list.
I need to go through that, but they're all Democrats,
every one of them. All the unsafest cities are all Democrats,

(12:35):
Like Portland, that's a mess. Boston's another one. It's still
having problems, and it's because of the soft on crime
policies and the sanctuary city law. That's the whole reason.
But places like nashal And New Hampshire, Irvine, California, Virginia,
Beach in Virginia, Henderson, Nevada. I mean, these places all

(12:58):
have low crime and they'll have Republican mayors, every single
one of them. The big exception is the largest of
the safe cities. That's San Diego, California. That that's got
mostly a Republican population, but they have a moderate Democratic
mayor and he's done a good job. So of the

(13:19):
largest cities in the country, San Diego is the safest
of those cities, and that's a democratic mayor. But all
these other cities, when you look at the list of
like the top twenty, all of them Republicans. So that's
a great point, and thanks so much for making it,
and thanks so much for calling in. You can leave
a talk back too. You go to the iHeartRadio app,

(13:40):
you look for seven to ten wo R and then
you look for the talkback feature and you are on
the air. Now, let's get to this kind of bizarre
story that comes to us from the Northwest. There is
a mascot called the and it's a strange looking mascot.

(14:03):
It's for the hockey team. It's a brand new hockey team.
Let me bring in Chrishweitzer because he is he's filling
in for Natalie this week, and he's our he's our
hockey expert. Always. Are you wearing a hockey shirt today?

Speaker 11 (14:15):
No, it's a soccer jersey today.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
He wears a hockey shirt a lot. He's a huge
hockey fan. So Seattle crack and they've just been in
the league for a couple of years.

Speaker 11 (14:24):
Uh yeah, I think I think three. I think this
will be their third year.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Now third year, and they have the most bizarre mascot
in the world.

Speaker 11 (14:31):
Yeah, I don't, I don't know. It's definitely not a big,
big octopus. I don't know what it is.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
It's not an octopus. It's like, I don't know what
it is. It looks like a giant smurf with long
red hair and yeah, no long blue hair. They call
it bluey And then it's got a an earring, Like
why did have to have an earing, is it. I
it's I don't know what's a If it's a male
or a female, you can't tell. There's a lot of

(14:58):
questions about their mascot.

Speaker 11 (15:01):
Yeah, that I don't have the answers to.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
But apparently bears like it.

Speaker 11 (15:06):
Yeah, I mean if this video is then any evidence, then.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yeah, bears are really attracted to this. Now, he was
out the Kracking was out fishing, fly fishing, you know,
like Krakens do, and it was out fly fishing and
they were shooting actually a video that was supposed to
go and he's with the center from the team. Is
John Hayden the star in the league?

Speaker 11 (15:29):
I won't say star, but he's good.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
He's the best player on the Kraken.

Speaker 11 (15:33):
They had a lot of changeover, so I'm not okay,
I'd have to double check on the rest of their roster.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Yeah, just go with it. Yeah, he's the best player
on the Cracking. Why are they shooting the video with him?
If he's not, he must be at least the most
popular player. So, you know, because it's Seattle and they
like to be out in the wild. They they went
to a national park, it's a Caught May National Park

(16:02):
and actually the National Park is up in Alaska. So
they went up to Alaska with a player from the team,
a very popular player from the team, and according to
our hockey expert, very well maybe the best player on
the team. Went up there to shoot a video fly fishing.
Don't ask me why, but that is what's going to

(16:23):
be in their promo. So in full mascot uniform with
this blue head. There is the kraken in this player,
and then they get chased by a bear, a grizzly
bear out of nowhere, who seemed to really have feelings
for the guy in the mascot outfit. I want to

(16:45):
blame it on Booi. They were pretty interested in this
his whole look. So we got out of it okay.
But it was a close call. That bear was in
full sprint in the water. It was jumping and you
could see it leaving the water as it jumped. So
are you gonna post the video? Uh?

Speaker 11 (17:04):
Yeah, I'll thought up in a bunch.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Yeah, because it's something to look at. It was a
it was a close call and it really wanted that crack.
And now let's get the news. We should get cracking.
Let's get the news. At six point thirty with Jacqueline
Carl Jaqueline Hey Larry.

Speaker 12 (17:18):
The Israeli security cabinet has signed off on a full
military takeover of the Gaza Strip. The Office of the
Prime Minister of Benjamin nettin Yaho says a majority of
a security cabinet back to his proposal early Friday to
begin the gradual military takeover of the Pala Citian territory,
beginning with Gaza City. Hey Governor Kathy Hochel is highlighting,

(17:38):
which she calls a detrimental impact on New Yorker's connected
to President Trump's tariff rates.

Speaker 13 (17:44):
Deals have yet to be hammered out with some key
US trading partners, including Mexico and Canada, and Hochl says
with new tarifrates now in effect, consumers face a new
effective rate of about twenty one percent. On most important
goods imported computer electronic parts, they're expected rise eighteen percent,
while imported clothing and shoes estimated to cost thirty seven
percent more. I'm scalppringle wr news.

Speaker 12 (18:07):
So there's this village in Spain where it is illegal
to do something they can possibly.

Speaker 14 (18:13):
Put you in jail for.

Speaker 12 (18:14):
According to the New York Posts in Leanharan, a tiny
village in Granada Province in Andalusia, Spain.

Speaker 14 (18:20):
It's illegal for residents to die there.

Speaker 12 (18:24):
Comer Mayor Yeah Jose Rubio made the law over twenty
five years ago. In nineteen ninety nine, he put this
statement out to the town's residence, quote, take utmost care
of their health, so they do not die until town
hall takes the necessary steps to acquire land suitable for
our decease to rest in glory. According to the Desert News. Now,
this is all because of overcrowding out the town's small cemetery,

(18:47):
where they can't risk moving anybody because of the town's
subarctic climate. Researchers discover that the deceased were not decomposing,
and scientists determine that people buried there still had remnens
remnants of the ninth teen seventeen influenza virus, and that
they're afraid it will spread.

Speaker 14 (19:04):
So you're not allowed to die there until they can make.

Speaker 12 (19:06):
The proper The mayor knows it's a snarky comment, but
he's just trying to raise awareness that the Spanish influenza
virus could come back if they tried to move anybody.

Speaker 14 (19:19):
So you got to wait to die until they figure
out where to put you.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
Wow.

Speaker 11 (19:24):
Yeah, I think we've had our share of major diseases
or sicknesses for this century. Let's keep the Spanish flu.

Speaker 12 (19:30):
Back in, Yes, back in the coffins, yes, yes, But to.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Have a waiting list for a cemetery, that's kind of bizarre.
I like the rule though, you can't die here, it's illegal.
Not they should put in the sign, right, they should
go into town. Nobody dies here because we don't have
a room. Welcome, Thanks so much, Jacqueline carl Well, the
tale of two wars. When we come right back, President

(19:55):
Trump will meet with Vladimir Putin to try the end
the war in Ukraine. But Njamin nat Yahoo, he's doubled
down on plans to take control of Gaza. Details about
both wars next well, just in case you didn't know it,
At midnight just passed. That was the deadline for Putin

(20:16):
to Polish troops or have a ceasefire out of Ukraine
or there was going to be all hell to pay.
There was going to be sanctions, and there was going
to be sanctions not just against Russia but against any
country that does business with Russia. There's going to be
renewed military in the area. But that's all passed right now.

(20:38):
And I think that Vladimir Putin knew the deadline more
than anyone else and is playing with that deadline, which
is why he agreed to meet with Donald Trump. Now,
at first, Donald Trump seemed like, I don't know if
I want to meet with him again. What's the use
in meeting him with again? Then he said he was
only going to meet with him if Zelensky was going
to be there. Then we found out Zelynzky he's not

(21:01):
going to go because Putin won't even talk to Zolensky.
He doesn't feel like he's his equal. He feels like
he's dominated over him, and why should I talk to him.
He's not pulling the strings. Donald Trump is pulling the strings,
That's what he says. And so Zolenski is out, No.

Speaker 6 (21:18):
He doesn't, no, no, they would like to meet with me,
and I'll do whatever I can to stop the killing.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Right So there we go, all of a sudden, it
doesn't matter if Selenky's going to be there anymore. And
as a matter of fact, Donald Trump says he's not
going to talk to Zolensky or meet with Zelensky separately
before meeting with Putin, and he is really skeptical about
this meeting. But you know, kudos to him for going,
because just going shows he wants to end this war

(21:46):
no matter what, because Putin every single time he's met
with him, Putin says all the right things and then
attacks that night. So I think this is the last one,
and I think it extended the deadline a little bit,
but there's not a real ceasefire. Now the sanctions will
start and we will keep those nuclear submarines right off
his coastline. Now, it's gonna be up to him.

Speaker 6 (22:09):
We're gonna we're gonna see what he has to say.
It's going to be up to him. Very just supporting.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
So the spokesperson for the State Department, he's been involved
in the talks along with Marco Rubio.

Speaker 15 (22:22):
We have been in continual communication with our partners, in
your continual communication with Ukraine. Our ultimate goal is to
end this conflict, get the parties to the table, see
and cease fire in the long and enduring peace.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
So and those communications will continue through the talks.

Speaker 13 (22:38):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
So, they know exactly what Zelensky wants. They know what
he's willing to give up. They know what his conditions are,
they know what his red line is, so they'll be
taking that to Putin and they'll know if there can
actually be a ceasefire. For instance, he says, we want
all of Ukraine and we want Zelensky to step down
and we want new elections. He's good. They're gonna say

(22:59):
no because they already know is Alinsky won't agree to that.
So they already know. Donald Trump going into this knows
what Zelensky will do. But if that's even all that
stuff right now, that doesn't matter. That doesn't matter right now.
All they're looking for is a cease fire to continue
peace talks. And Marco Rubio had been talking to Putin
with Whitcoff. They were both over there in Russia talking

(23:22):
and that's what set up this meeting. So there had
to be some advancement. At least we know now exactly
what Putin wants, and he had to back off on
his demands a little bit, or we wouldn't have these
final talks. The President wouldn't be going to speak with
him if it wasn't for the fact that there may
must be something there that they believe that Donald Trump

(23:46):
can go in and close.

Speaker 16 (23:47):
This there's going to be a deal to end this war.
It'll have to require the President to come in at
the end and close on it. So obviously there are
any time you're going to make a deal, there's going
to have to be concessions. There's gonna have to be
concessions by the Russians and concessions by the Ukrainians accord
as well. So that's tough.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
It is tough, and it's been tough all along. And
there's no question that Vladimir Putin's enjoyed toying with us
in Ukraine. It has been insulting, to be frank, it's
been very insulting. Donald Trump wants more than anything else
to end this war. This is one of his priorities.
He would love to end this war. I think it

(24:25):
hurts him to see people die. That's why he's been
so against war. He was one of the few presidents
never to send a man to war when he was
in office the last time. And it pains him to
see people dying in war, and thousands are dying in
this useless war in Ukraine, this invasion of Ukraine, and

(24:45):
he would like to see it just end. But I
think he goes into this meeting with eyes wide open,
and if Putin tries to play with him again, I
think there's gonna be a hell to pay. I think
they're gonna go They're going to cut off Russia from
the rest of the civilized world. He'll have to trade
only with China and South Korea, and that's going to

(25:08):
kill their economy. There's no question it's going to hurt
their economy. We don't do a lot of trade with them,
but other countries do. That's why we put the twenty
five percent tariffs on India to try to get them
to stop trading with Russia, because they get their oil
from Russia and that helps fuel the war and we
want to stop that. We're saying, we'll give you a gasoline,

(25:30):
we'll give you power. You can get it from us,
and we'll give it to you cheaper. As a matter
of fact, you take the oil from us, there'll be
no tariffs. You take it from Russia. All products you
get or send to the United States are going to
have twenty five percent tariff on it. So we'll see
if it works. The tariffs have been a powerful weapon
so far. We'll see if that works. Now, let's move
on to the other war, the war in Gaza. This

(25:54):
is no surprise. I know it's big news, but it's
no surprise that Benjamin Netnya who is saying we're going
to finish off, We're gonna get rid of Hamas, We're
going to take control of Gaza. He's wanted to do
that from the very beginning. The only thing to tell
them back was Donald Trump. The only reason he's been
in peace talks is Donald Trump. And obviously Donald Trump
is getting frustrated as frustrated as Net Yahoo with Hamas

(26:17):
because Hamas believes they have more of a negotiating chip
than they do. They believe because they hold these hostages
and they put these horrible videos out that that's going
to stop Net and Yahoo from making his next move.
And it did for a long time. But there is
an end to that rope, and we're at that end

(26:41):
right now, which is why Benjamin Netanyahoo intends to take
all of Gaza and destroy Harmas once and for all.

Speaker 5 (26:50):
We intend to in order to assure our security, remove
Hamas there, enable the population to be free of Gaza,
and to pass it to civilian governance. That is not
Tramas and not anyone advocating the destruction of Issuel.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
There are some in the military that disagree with this move.
There are some in Israel that disagree. The families of
the hostages, the emintinently disagree. But Nanyahu says that he
was in Rafa recently and he met with Israeli soldiers
and he says there are a thousand percent behind him.

Speaker 5 (27:26):
I've been to Ralfa. Okay, talk to the soldiers, talk
to the division commanders. You know what they tell me.
They tell me, Prime Minister, don't bother with the press.
Just press on with the mission of liberating Gaza from
these murderers.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Nimro Cohen is one of the last living hostages, and
his brother feels as if he has been lied to.

Speaker 17 (27:54):
On the one hand, it's saying you are doing everything
to get our hostages back. On the other hand, is satisfying.
He's extremist in the government, the one that wants settlements
and continue in the war and protecting himself from losing
his government from criticism and investigation.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
And that's why he's prolonging the war. Now, how is
this gonna all play out? Well? Benjamin Nanna, who spoke
about that too, And I, by the way, I don't
want to just move on quickly from someone whose brother
is being held hostage and will probably die in this
whole thing. That's awful, It is horrible. But Benjamin Nanna,

(28:36):
who is right to a point. You can't allow terrorists
to hold your entire country hostage and want things that
they can possibly not have ever have, like I'm as
staying in control. That can't happen. So I understand him
moving on, But what happens next Now he says he

(28:57):
doesn't want to control Gaza, he doesn't want his real
control of Gaza. He will allow them to have elections,
just so it's not Hamas. Anybody can have control and
except the terrorist organization if they want to have free
and fair elections. He is behind that. But it can't
be Hamas. So he's not talking about taking it and
keeping it or making it a resort like Donald Trump

(29:21):
wants to do. He is talking about giving it back
to its people who he believes have been held hostage too.
We'll see how this plays out. It's not going to
be popular in the world, and it's not going to
be popular with a lot of people in Israel, but
it may be. It really may be the only way forward.

(29:42):
There is brand new economic figures out that show how
well the well the country is doing. We'll share them
with you coming up next. Remember last year, last week
when Erica mcintarfer was fired as head of the Bureau
of Labor Statistics. Remember all the up or about it
that he just didn't like the numbers, so he fired

(30:03):
somebody that has nothing to do with that. Well, apparently
she does. Apparently she does have something to do with
it now. He fired her because he said the numbers
were fake, they were too low. His own economists, people
that have been studying the numbers and studying the same
numbers show a rise in employment, and she showed that
employment was now flat, and so he was upset, rightfully,

(30:26):
So this is gonna affect the economy. It's gonna affect
everything he can do if the economy is failing. And
then we found out that she had been fudging the
numbers for a long time, that she fudged the numbers
upwards during the Biden administration and then down during the
Trump administration. During the first few months of the Trump administration,

(30:47):
so this is something she's done or people in her
office she's done. She has forty economists working on this
and she is the front person for it. But you
know she has influence, there's no question. So Donald Trump
decided to go out and get Stephen Moore to come in.
We all know Stephen Moore. He's here, he's on every Thursday.
He's on with Mark Simone, great economist, has been around

(31:10):
for years and he's a go to guy for economic numbers.
And so Donald Trump did something brilliant. Donald Trump gave
him access to the census numbers. Now, they're always being updated,
the census numbers, and we're about the halfway point now,
and this is when we get an update on what
the census numbers were before. But he gets it beforehand.
He got to go in there with a team of

(31:32):
economists and look at everything. And he found definitive proof
that this Erica mcintarfer when she was head of the
LBS under Biden, she was also fludging the numbers then,
but in a different way and massively.

Speaker 8 (31:54):
Over the last two years of the Biden administration, the
BLS overestimated job creation by one point five million jobs.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
That's a that's a gigantic air. And I don't know
if she's that might never.

Speaker 7 (32:08):
Have been an error.

Speaker 6 (32:08):
That's the bad part.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
There is an error, it would be one thing. I
don't think it's an error. I think they did it purposely.
Whether that you may well be right.

Speaker 8 (32:16):
But even if it wasn't purposefully, it's incompetence right.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Yes, it was purposely. Absolutely, it was purposely. If you
remember what we found out with Doge is the reason
that the federal budget was blooming to be, to use
a kind word under Joe Biden, was exploding as a
better word under Joe Biden, was because he put all

(32:42):
of that money into COVID relief that he was supposed
to get. He got from COVID relief and he got
from the Build Back Better Bill, which was both over
a trillion dollars, which just wasn't needed. We already had
COVID relief. He just got it because he wanted the
money and build back Better. Come on, have you seen

(33:07):
that money being used? No, was used for lots of
other things. Less than ten percent went to actual roads
and bridges, and our airports are a mess. But the windmills, yeah,
they were being built and we were just pouring money
into the sea to build them. But all of that
money was put into hiring people to the federal government

(33:31):
to hide the fact that employment was awful in the
last year of Joe Biden. He couldn't have those bad
employment figures. And this woman that was head of the
LBS that Donald Trump just fired was fudging those numbers,
and so thank god he fired her. But that's not
all Stephen Moore found in.

Speaker 8 (33:49):
His first five months in office, starting in January through
the end.

Speaker 18 (33:53):
Of June, the average median household income adjusted for inflation,
for the average family America is already up seventy four dollars.

Speaker 6 (34:03):
That's an incredible number.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
How about that the average family is now bringing in
more money under Donald Trump, and that is going to
continue absolutely now under President Biden. What happened there, it's
really fascinating because remember the Democrats and President Biden keep saying,
it's Donald Trump. It's Donald Trump that's just trying to

(34:28):
make the rich richer and he's hurting the little man.
And Joe Biden kept saying, there's such inequality in the system,
we have to give more money to poor Americans, and
we found out he was doing the exact opposite.

Speaker 18 (34:41):
The lowest income group lost income.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
They were poor.

Speaker 8 (34:46):
Four years after President Biden's presidency, no bran virtually whatsoever
for the middle class, and the rich was the only
group that did better and revided, which is ironic because
Biden keeps saying he was trying to get rid of income.
He made income inequality worse, not better.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
They hid all of that from us. They hid all
of that. Donald Trump, it's really funny. He gets blasted
all the time and then it's proven he was absolutely right.
He goes in and calls b has on so much
of this stuff, and it was, it was. And the
fact that that was hidden from is the fact that
there's so much of a political bias ingrained in the

(35:26):
system is aggravating at the least and sinister at the worst.
Did Trump just help Zorin Mamdani to become mayor? We're
gonna ask Rob Astorino that if Donald Trump inserting himself
into the New York Mayorage race, did just that help
