Speaker 1 (00:00):
Tell you what. I have no idea what race Stagic
was talking about yesterday. Remember he was laughing us off, saying, oh,
it's not that cold, you're just all whimps. It's cold.
It is really cold. Man. I was freezing today and
I kept thinking of race Stagic and not saying nice
(00:21):
things about him as I was walking. Wow, I'm not crazy, right,
I mean it was really it was. It was bone chilling. Bitter, Yeah, exactly.
Bitter is the best word for it. Went right for
your clothes, like, it didn't matter what you were wearing.
It was man, And yesterday, Race Stage I kept saying
(00:42):
to us, own, no, no, no, it's not going to
be that cold. That like you silly people.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
You're chilly.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
At one point, you have to remember he's a big
He's a big snow bunny. He is, that's true, So
this is like nothing to him. But he has to
think of the people he's talking too, like me. Wow,
I went out thinking, oh you know, Ray said, is
not that gold, it's not that bad? Oh my god,
(01:10):
we do. We got to hit him back.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
I have a feeling we're in for a long winter.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Oh no, that you said yesterday. Tell me he wasn't
pooh poohing every forecast about it being freezing. He was,
you know, because he's made of stronger stuff. Yes, in
the Big three. NASA County Executive Bruce Blakeman just won
re election and today he is going to announce that
he is going to run to be the Republican nominee
(01:38):
to take on Governor Kathy Hoche in the fall, even
though Congresswoman Elise Staphonic is already in the race.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
We don't have coronations in our party. We're not like
the Democratic Party that had a coronation for Kamala Harris.
How did that work out for the Democrats? Competition is
a good thing.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
The socialist is going to live in a Socialists or
in mom Donnie has decided that he will live in
Gracie Mansion after all. The reason because he needs the
extra security.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
I get threats on my life. It makes sense that
he's moving to where all the mayors live historically, but
I don't doubt where his loyalties lie.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yeah, he's lived in a mansion his entire life. This
is what he's used to. He just pretends to not
have a lot of money. He just pretends to be poor. Wow,
everybody falls for his act. Elina Haber has resigned as
US Attorney in New Jersey after an appellate court ruled
(02:37):
she was disqualified for the role. This started when New
Jersey's two Democratic senators withheld their approval through a system
called blue slip approval. You've got a blue slip thing.
That's horrible. It's a horrible thing. It makes it impossible
to appoint the judge or US attorney. And it's a shame.
(02:58):
And the Republicans should be ashamed of themselves that they
allowed us to go on because I can't appoint a
US attorney that's not a Democrat. Here's the thing. The
blue slip isn't in the law. It's never been legislated,
there's no statute. It is just a senatorial courtesy. And
so the blue slip is something that the chairman of
(03:20):
the committee sends to the senators to say, do you
approve of this person? Right up? What you think? If
they don't send it back or they write negative things
as a courtesy, the judicial appointment, the US attorney appointment
is just negated. That's it. That's all it takes. Is
the one person now in New Jersey with Lena Habba.
(03:44):
It was a strategy well after the confirmation, all of
a sudden, well after she was put into office, I
should say, there was no confirmation. Senator Booker and Senator
Kim both turned in negative blue slips, and that's why
she not because of a vote, not because of any
(04:04):
judicial action other than them withholding the blue slip. Wow,
he's President Trump is absolutely right. We need to get
rid of that. The pre trial hearing of Luigi Mangione
drags on much longer than most evidentiary hearings. That's exactly right,
That's exactly what it is.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
It's a mini trial and we're on witness number seven.
Speaker 6 (04:27):
I think of twenty five, twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Twenty seven, there's going to be twenty seven witnesses and
this is already dragged on a week. My feeling is
the defense sees this, as the trial sees this is
so important keeping some of the evidence out, especially what
was found in the Altoona McDonald's, that they're putting all
this time and money into the evidentiary healing hearings. Well,
(04:54):
if Congress doesn't act to fix the healthcare system as
they promised they would do after shutdown. Now that the
Affordable Care Act is about to expire. State healthcare systems
and patients will feel the effect.
Speaker 7 (05:08):
Any effects of increasing insurance premiums and so forth not
only have a profound effect on patients itself, it's also
the healthcare system and also the healthcare workers itself.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah, they got to do some negotiations, as they promised
they were going to do. They said before Obamacare expires,
they were going to fix this. Where are they? The
Minnesota fraud case continues to grow. Members of the state's
large some million immigrant community defrauded the federal government of
a billion dollars. As Governor Tim Walls, well, he just
(05:41):
looked the other way.
Speaker 8 (05:42):
We believe that the Somali fraud operation in Minnesota is
the single greatest theft of taxpayer dollars through welfare fraud
in American history.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Well, the Democrats refuse to admit defeat on the Bogus
Narco terrorist boat strike controversy. They are now pushing for
the video to be made public.
Speaker 9 (06:02):
I've spent years looking at videos of lethal action taken
often in the terrorism context, and this video was profoundly shaking, shaken,
and I think it's important for Americans to see it.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
And how about that crazy Jasmine Crocket, the congressman from Texas.
She's thinks she's so popular that she's going to run
for the Senate, trying to unsee powerful Republican Texas Senator
John Cronin.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
There are a lot of people to say it. You
got to stay in the House.
Speaker 10 (06:36):
We need our voice, we need you there, and I understand,
But what we need is for me to have a
bigger voice.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Yeah, it's not gonna happen. Here's what's really going on.
Remember the redistricting in Texas. Her seat was one of
those redistricted. She is not going to win reelection as
a congressman, so she might as well go out with
a bang. And so God bless her. She's not gonna
beat John Cronin. She's gonna get It's gonna be a
route and Trump make America Healthy Again movement is now
(07:09):
taking aim at the nation's airports. Airports can get federal
money to pay for a number of projects to make
those airports more family and fitness friendly.
Speaker 11 (07:22):
It might be I want to expand the play areas
for kids. I want additional nursing pods for nursing mothers.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Maybe I want to workout area where people.
Speaker 11 (07:33):
Might get some blood flow and doing some pull ups
or some step ups.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
I'm just thinking of people doing pull ups at the airport.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
I'm thinking. Here's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking, I'm gonna
get rid of my gym membership and just go to
Newark Airport on the way home. Did you see them yesterday?
Speaker 2 (07:57):
By the way, I did not.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
So it was our FK and it was Secretary Duffy
And they were at JFK where they now have pull
ups so you can do pull ups while you're waiting
for it.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
This is just so funny to me. I'm not sure.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Why, but and they both had a contest.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Oh great, who won?
Speaker 1 (08:16):
I think they tied. I think they both did eight,
which is pretty look it. I'm not gonna make fun
of that. I can't make it do eight right now?
Speaker 2 (08:22):
So see, I mean, there's nothing wrong with this. But
I'm just hoping I'm never in the airport long enough
to actually have to have a workout done, you know,
like I want to get in, I want to get
on my plane, I want to leave. I don't want
to be there ten hours, so I have to do
a workout. Well, that's that's proble.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
That's what I thought of right away when I heard
it happening. I thought to myself, Wait a second, do
they know something we don't. Are the flights going to
take a lot longer? Are we going to be waiting
at the airport a lot more nowadays?
Speaker 2 (08:50):
A try I've walked. I've definitely because there's a lot
of walking space at an airport, and I've gotten up
and walked around, just knowing that you're going to be
sitting down on a plane for a long period of time.
I also been in airports where I've seen the kids playgrounds,
which is great because you know, the kids need something
to do. But I just looked at it and thought, germfest.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
You know.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
I looked at that playground and thought, who wiped it down?
My kids are gonna have switch all over their hands. Oh,
it was hard for me to look at it.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
Here's the other thing they said yesterday when they were
talking about the airports, and they talked about the food,
and I disagree with this.
Speaker 11 (09:27):
I fied, typically, over the past thirty years, probably average
two hundred and fifty days a year in airports that
I can tell you too, that this is where healthy
diets go.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
To die. I don't agree at all. I think the
food's pretty good in the airports, and there's a big selection.
I mean, if you want, if you want this, the
food that's.
Speaker 11 (09:49):
Available in the airport, A lot of it tastes very good.
It's not very good for you. It's deep fried food.
It's sugar bombs.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Oh, it doesn't have to be, doesn't have to be.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
And I know I have to break. But it's also
once again it's one meal. I'm having there. One meal.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Oh, but you don't have to have a sugary thing.
You can have a salad.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
They have salads there, sandwiches.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
This is getting silly. I like the workout thing though.
You can go to the iHeartRadio app and leave us

was this? Who is it again, Pastor what's his name?
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Pastor John? Pastor John?
Speaker 1 (10:51):
I think is it Pastor John. We can leave us
a talkback if we're wrong and just tell us that
we got it woefully wrong. But Pastor John kicks off
of talkbacks today.
Speaker 12 (11:01):
A lot to talk with the new mayor and what's coming.
It's not going to be good. I work with the
homeless on the streets of New York around Penn Station,
and all the police have spoken to me personally saying,
get ready, it will get much worse. So let's do
what we can do. Have an extra pair of gloves,
a hat, a scarf, bring it with you and give
it to somebody who's cold. We could all do so much.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Thank you. Oh that was wonderful. I didn't know what
a good man.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Wow, that's a great idea, though. Yes, I mean, you
go through your closet. How many extra scarves and gloves
and hats do have in there that you never use?
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Right?
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Just take them with you when you're commuting. That's a
great idea.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
No, it's a wonderful idea. Rather than just putting them
in a big bag and leaving them in a bin
from somebody to else to take. You know what I mean,
that's a that's a wonderful idea, Pastor John. We should
we should do something together. If you're gonna you're gonna
give these out, we can we can do it through you.
All right, let's talk about a hunger thoon, because we
have to get these bids up.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
We do.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Despite being a somewhat lower level than last year, inflation
continues to bring some of the highest food prices ever
seen before. So what does that mean? That means more
people in New York are going hungry than ever before.
So once again this year Why Hunger's Hunger Thought is
(12:24):
working to raise money to feed the millions of people
struggling in our area with Hunger Now to help out.
We've teamed up with them just about every year on
this We've got a number of rare auction packages available,
including a studio meet and greet with me, during which

they can promote their.
Speaker 2 (12:54):

they want. I mean, I have a dump button. But
you know, only they get a little crazy, which I
don't expect any of our listeners to do. But you
could come. You can meet Natalie Migliori in our newsroom.
She sits here with us, Jacqueline car or Jacqueline car

to hang with us.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
That's right, that's right, and look at but you know,
you can stay as long as you're what, I don't care.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
We're not kicking out.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Yeah, they can stay. They can come in the beginning
and come and stay stick around and like if it's
like Fred, well just every once in a while we'll
go what do you think, Fred?
Speaker 2 (13:29):
And we're in a cool area of Manhattan. You could
come right in midtown. You could do some extra things
during the day. It's fun right here.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Well we're not good enough.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Well, I mean after after the show.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Nobody's couldn't want to do anything else. So you need
to make a bed at hunger thon hunger thon dot
org slash iHeart, that's hunger thon dot org slash iHeart.
Let me tell you something I didn't know you were
able to talk about your business until I just saw this.
That is worth the worth the price exactly.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
It's a commercial super cheap.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Well yeah, exactly, and you have to pay a lot
more than that. So wow. Our current bid for the
in studio meet and Greed is now two hundred and
fifty dollars, and we know we can do a whole
lot better than that, So hurry. The auction ends this afternoon.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
This afternoon, so you have to bid now. You can't
wait till later. You have to bid now. And it's
super easy. And you know what, I've always said, this
is the best holiday gift for that person you don't
know what to give for, like your parents. You're like
an experienced gift like this is so cool.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Hey, you know what you can do if you have
liberal friends, get it for them so they have to
come in and sit through this. That would be what
a great thing. Hey, guess what I got you? I
got you a radio station you get to sit in on.

love to meet you, uh and so just come on
in sit and we'll just hang. H We'll hang for
as long as you want to be here. You can
stay for the coming in the six o'clock and stay
till ten, or just for an hour, as long as
(15:18):
you want. You're gonna get sick of us, probably, but
especially if you have a business promote to promote. It
just makes a lot of sense for you. All right,
here we go. This is a ridiculous list. It's the
twenty five most popular touring artist of the millennium. Of
the millennium, that's a thousand years. And I don't see
(15:39):
Mozart anywhere on the list nowhere you know, did he tour?
I think he did tour all throughout Germany, Okay, and
he sold out every concert.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Unfortunately they didn't have any merchers. Right of course, I
would love that.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
So here you go. Number one on the list, and
he guesses number one one.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Taylor Swift was fifth.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Huh crazy list already?
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Yep, it is Taylor's well. Taylor Swift became her tour
became big over the last several years. You have to
think of somebody that tours all the time, constantly, every
day out of the ear cold Play, Oh, I love
them Cold plays number one on the list. I'll do
it real quick. You two is second. Ed Sheeron is third.
He's wonderful day he is. But did you think it'd
(16:28):
be third on this list? Dave Matthews band.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
I feel like they're always touring, so I'm not so surprised.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Yeah, and actually the one concert could be three dates.
You know they stayed play forever. Uh and then Taylor Swift. Now,
let's get the Jacqueline Carl with the six thirty News
Jacqueline Larry.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
President Trump says releasing the so called double tap strike
on a suspected drug boat from Venezuela is up to
Pete Hegseth. On Monday, Trump said whatever the Defense Secretary
wants to do with regard to the video is okay
with him. The controversy after the Washington Post claim Hegseeth
ordered a second strike on the boat so there were
no survivors and NASA County executive Bruce Blakeman is expected
(17:08):
to enter the New York governor's race as early as today.
Speaker 10 (17:12):
The Republican would be challenging Congresswoman a Lease Staphonic in
a primary after she announced she was running for governor
last month on Monday, the President was asked about the
two candidates and he called them.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Both great people.
Speaker 10 (17:25):
Both are looking to ouse Democratic Governor Kathy Hochel, who
was running for a second full term next November. Liz
Warner w Warren News.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
And tis the season to be vigilant. Unfortunately, according to WFTV,
police and Apoka, Florida have issued a warning concerning porch pirates.
But it's in no way a problem limited to just
a Sunshine state. As you know, with the holiday deliveries,
increasing vives everywhere are taking the opportunity to scope out
homes they think are easy targets for presents that aren't theirs.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
So here's some helpful tips.
Speaker 5 (17:59):
You ready installing a doorbell camera and recording video that
police can use to nab the people who steal the packages.
Insist on tracking information for all deliveries. That's a good
one because not everybody does that. We just think it's
going to happen, but it doesn't. Always in their apps
that can do that for you. Keep in touch with
neighbors and make it a point to have each other's
(18:19):
backs and try to obviously try to schedule deliveries at
times when you know someone will be home to receive
them and bring them inside.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
But those ring cameras.
Speaker 5 (18:28):
And those cameras doorbell cameras have been really instrumental in
solving not just porch pirate crimes, but a lot of them.
I think they're the best thing you could do for
your neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
And your home. Absolutely. I love to watch. I love
to watch Natalie's camera. She has wildlife. It's like wild
kingdom on her, so.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Many reasons to be sitting here in the show. I'm like,
oh my gosh, there's a bear walking by my front
door right now.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
And if a.
Speaker 5 (18:59):
Bear stole the package, couldn't You don't have to blame
a person. They get really close, so I would not
be surprised, especially if there's like beef jerky in it.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
I watch that.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Yeah, that's another tip.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
Don't send food through the mail to people with bears
near their homes.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Thanks a lot, Jacqueline. There are reports that Nicholas Maduro
is ready to leave Venezuela and he is now negotiating
with Donald Trump. Will tell you what he wants and
what Trump told him when we come right back. And also,
you can celebrate the holiday season on the free iHeartRadio app.
Stream all of your favorite holiday hits totally free commercials.
(19:37):
Make it the perfect soundtrack for your holiday season. Listen now,
open the free iHeartRadio app and search Holiday. To an
end to the Nicholas Maduro rule in Venezuela, there are
several sources that are saying President Trump has been having
negotiations with Meduro at least two phone calls where Meduro
(19:59):
keeps coming and saying I'll do this, I'll do this,
and I'll do this, and President Trump is basically saying,
you can leave. We can't promise you anything, like we're
not gonna give you protection when you leave. We're not
gonna promise you. There's not gonna be charges. What he
allegedly said to him was, if you go to Russia,
you'll be fine. That nobody's gonna touch you in Russia,
(20:22):
but you have to leave. And now Maduro is to
the point, according to the sources, that he is negotiating
who takes over when he leaves. Somebody that is heavily
involved in all of this. And I don't know if
you've ever seen her on TV. Her name is Maria Salazar.
Maria Salazar is an expert in that type of the
(20:44):
part of the world. She's a Cuban American. You used
to see her on Telemundo. She covered things like this
all of the time. I think she's second generation Cuban
American and she knows and her family knows what it's
like to live under a dictator in Qubo. And that
regards to the elections. The elections there are just shams.
(21:05):
Maduro is a brutal, brutal dictator, and he's anti American.
He's close with China, he is very close with Russia.
And so that's what this has all been about, trying
to get Maduro to leave. And it looks like we're there.
(21:27):
Here's Maria Salazar.
Speaker 13 (21:28):
I think he has hours or days. The latest information
is that Maduro just offered the Trump administration for him
to leave and in his replacement, leave this lady by
the name of Delci Rodriguez, who happens to be his
vice president.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
You know what goal the people have.
Speaker 13 (21:46):
You know, communists are in the business of power. This
lady is worse than Maduro. The vice president is the
one who runs the repressive apparatus where the political prisoners
are being tortured.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Right now, Trump has said that he wants free and
fair elections, and there's going to be several people that
are going to go back there from America to run.
And Maria Salazar also said, look, the boat strikes got
a lot of attention for the story, but we should
be paying attention to Venezuela. This is a communist country
(22:21):
right on our doorsteps that are that are friendly with
Russia and China. Did you know that Russia sent a
military vote off of Venezuela a couple of weeks ago. Yeah,
this is a big deal. Getting him out of office
and getting a democracy in Venezuela is important for American security.
Speaker 13 (22:46):
Is the average American citizen needs to care about what's
happening because they have given a platform a beach head
to our enemies China, Iran Hasblajamas, the Russians, so it's
time to And besides.
Speaker 9 (22:59):
They are they're drug traffickers.
Speaker 13 (23:01):
So this is important for us, the average American citizen.
And I applaud President Trump.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
And it's important for us because the number one killer
of young people in this country are drugs coming from
South America. And stop with it, would you stop defending
I'm talking to the Democrats now stop defending them. Stop saying, well,
the no motion of the drugs don't come from there.
(23:26):
They enough do Okay, enough Americans are killed, Yes, Mexico,
there's more coming through Mexico. You're right, Okay, you win
that part of the argument. So so what a lot
of it's coming from Venezuela. He is the head. Meduro,
who is the president of Venezuela, is the head of
(23:50):
one of the most powerful cartels in the world. Stop,
can't we all get together on something and just agree
he's got to go.
Speaker 14 (24:00):
Percent of deadly drugs come into this country via the
maritime border. That since President Trump has secured that border,
So we we are really staving off and making these
cartels increasingly desperate, and that's going to have real life impacts.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
In a poll, seventy five percent of Americans are for
taking out the boats. Seventy five percent. Again, the Democrats
find themselves on the wrong side of an issue because
they care more about protecting Americans than they do protecting
narco drug dealers. They care more about America than the
(24:39):
next election. But the Democrats, they don't know when to
give up. They were wrong. The Washington Post was wrong.
It's it led them astray. They were wrong about the
legality of those boat strikes. They were wrong about heg
Seth saying kill them all, which is a ridiculous narrative
(24:59):
in in the first place.
Speaker 9 (25:01):
It's really important that people see what it looks like
when the full force of the United States military has
turned on two guys who are clinging to a piece
of wood and about to go under, just so that
they have sort of a visceral feel for what it
is that we're doing.
Speaker 15 (25:13):
By the way, individuals in that boat were not even
aimed at the United States. So everything that they've done
is been illegal. It's illegal under international law, it's illego
under the Geneva Convention, and it certainly is even illegal.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Under domestic law. It was essentially murdered with that double
top strike. All of that's a lie. Every single thing
that was just said is a lie, especially about them
clinging to the side of a boat. Anybody that's seen
the video says, no, that's not what happened.
Speaker 8 (25:46):
They were not floating in the ocean on a wooden
plank or in life jackets. They were on the capsized vessel.
They were not incapacitated in any way it was entirely
appropriate to strike the boat again to make sure that
it was Hargo was destroyed. It is in no way
violation of the law of war. And I think the
Washington Post o Secretary Hegsath and especially Admiral Mitch Bradley,
(26:10):
a highly decorated career Navy seal, an apology for that slander.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Yeah, I agree with that. And as far as the
video goes, President Trump says, yeah, you can let the
video go, but it's really up to the Secretary of
War Pete Hegsath, and Pete Hegseth has been saying, we
just need to go through some legal review on this,
that's all. And then I have no problem releasing the video.
But man, you would think that's the biggest story in
(26:36):
the country. Remember that's not the biggest story getting rid
of Maduro and keeping Americans safe and getting an adversary
away from US, which, by the way, several other presidents
have done. Clinton's done it, Bush has done it, Obama's
(26:56):
done it, gotten rid of people in Haiti and and
in Panama and in Libya. All of a sudden, it's
a big problem because it's Donald Trump's stop just be Americans,
forget about your party for a second, would you. Bruce
Blakeman is announcing that he will run for governor today,
(27:16):
which means it'll be the battle of the political heavyweights.
We'll talk about Stephanic versus Blakeman next.
Speaker 16 (27:25):
I'm Bernie Bider with a w arn't traffic. A broken
down school bus on the inbound going. It's by the
Prospect Expressway. At least one lane is blocked at Lashchek
heavy back from the Belt heading through Industry City and
up to Exit twenty four the Grand Central West Bell.
We continue to have the ramp of the Lie partially
blocked off. That is Exit ten. An accident there and
if you're on the Bell Parkway westboind it's a crawl
(27:46):
in the Leffards Bulevard. Exit eighteen got some crash activity.
Sussex County Delays Route twenty three is completely closed in
both directions by Boulder Hills Boulevard. There's some down power
lines and one in nine that the crash in Linden
has been cleared away. All lane three open into Grand
Avenue at this sport a sponsored by Red Pilled America.
This week on Red Pilled America, host Patrick and Andreana
(28:06):
Tell the story of the greatest American storyteller that's ever
lived at Walt Disney. His journey shows how socialism has
become popular and what we need to do to reverse
the trend. Listen to Red Pilled America on the Arheart
Radio app Our next traffic updates in fifteen minutes. Now,
let's take a look at the WOUR Weather channel forecast.
Speaker 6 (28:22):
All below this time of year, thirty six, won't even
get to that for the daytime high today right around
freezing thirty three, increasing clouds tonight overcast down to your
freezing so we are milder. That's going to lead to
a quick moving system giving us a little bit of
rain and snow early tomorrow. Quickly to rain forty three.
No snow accumulation expected here in the city right now,
nineteen at war. I mean, you're all just race digic.
(28:43):
Now here's Jacqueline with a check of today's top stories.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Well, things got a lot interesting in politics in New
York now that Bruce Blakeman, as expected, is going to
run for governor, taking on the least of phonic Bruce
Blakeman won re election by a landslide, and I think
that that's what he was waiting for. He wanted that
(29:06):
to thrust him into the election because it was a
close race. That might have been it, that might have
been it for him, but it wasn't a close race.
He won by a wide margin. So now he's in
the race and he launches with that reelection. He's been
talking about it. We've had him on the air and
(29:27):
he's been free to talk about it. That he was
looking at it. He was going to talk to Donald Trump,
he said. And now he's come to his decision, and
that's going to be made today. And yesterday Donald Trump
got word of it to find out what he thought
about it.
Speaker 17 (29:40):
Cars at least upon is among those who is running
for year Governor Bruce Blakeman, who you also know, are
you planning on making any endorsements.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
He's great and she's great. They're both great people. We
have a lot of great people are the Republican Party
right now. He's got a weird she used to make
Donald Trump and he may just stay out of this
because he really owes them both a lot, and he's
good friends with both of them, at least a phonic
in particular, if you remember, they had nominated her for
(30:13):
ambassador to the un and then they asked her not
to take the job. They withdrew the nomination because they
told her they needed that seat and they needed that
vote to pass the big beautiful bill, and she did
and then she was going to run for governor. And
(30:35):
you know, Mike Lawler was going to run against her,
and I think Mike Lawler was talked out of it
for the same reason. Mike Lawler was talked out of it,
because they need that seat. If he doesn't run there
there's a chance they could lose that seat in Rockland
and Westchester County, and so that he was out of
it now too. Blakeman has been great to Donald Trump.
(30:56):
As a matter of fact, everybody seemed shocked at the
time that Blakeman didn't get a job in the administration.
And now we know why he wanted to run for governor.
And so we had him on the air here and
he said basically the same thing he just did in
an interview earlier.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
We don't have coronations in our party. We're not like
the Democratic Party that had a coronation for Kamala Harris.
How did that work out for the Democrats. Competition is
a good thing.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
So now you have a Long Island Republican NASA County,
a lot of Republican votes there, a lot of Republican
votes in both NASA and Suffolk County, a lot of
Republican votes down south. And now you have an upstate,
very powerful Congressman, Elis Stefanik, who has been in the
forefront of just about every big story coming out of Congress,
(31:50):
who is running against the two of them. So the
two of them have extremely powerful bases on either end
of the state. So I really looking forward to the
next poll. I will say this, although Blakeman has been
an extremely successful executive, at least st Aphonic is a
(32:11):
pit bull. I don't know if you remember when Kathy
Hockel was on what was up in front of the
Legal Committee, the Legislative Committee, and she had to try
to defend some of the crime policies in New York
and at least st Aphonic was just a pit bull.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
And when New York was looking for leadership in the
midst of this mayoral race, what did Kathy Hokeel do.
She bent the knee to this communist, defund the police
tax hiking soon to be mayor of New York City
and make no mistake. Maria Kathy Hochel said that she
would not raise taxes even though she has a record.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
Of doing so.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
That was her on Fox News. Here she is at
the hearing.
Speaker 18 (32:56):
These are horrific crimes in their heart, the horrific crimes
that are committed on your watch. You signed this executive
order on your first day in office. You sign it
again and again this January. We deserve a governor who
stands up for law abiding New Yorkers, doesn't put illegals first,
but actually puts New Yorkers first.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
I appreciate Rather than after the viral moment, I suggest.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
You no, no, I'm standing up for New Yorkers zone.
Speaker 18 (33:20):
Rather than addressing the illegals in New York, you are
prioritizing your far left sanctuary state policies, which you put
in place with executive orders.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
Liza he she killed her. I mean, she just destroyed her.
And she was the star of that meeting. It's going
to be interesting. Can't wait to see the polls. Both
of them are strong candidates. The first poll coming out
is going to be a big one. Well, Donald Trump
has taken some criticism for focusing on foreign affairs more
(33:50):
than domestic affairs, so he's going to go across the
country and John Decker is going to talk about it
after the seven o'clock News
