Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Big Three. They said it could never happen, peace
in the Middle East. But Donald Trump made it happen.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
So great for Israel, so great for Muslims, for the
Arab countries, uh, and so great for this country, for
the United States of America, and that we could be
involved in, you know, making a deal like this happened
because it was you know, many years they talked about
peace in the Middle East. This is more than Gaza.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
This is peace in the.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Middle East, and it's an incredible thing.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Both Israelis and Palestinians are praising him today. He has
high approval ratings now with both. But wait, do you
see what the Democrats do with this. Let's just see
the final debate between Jack Chinarelli and Mikey Cheryl in
the New Jersey governor's race was last night on ABC

(00:51):
and it got downright nasty.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
Got pay to develop an app so that more people
could get more opioids and die. But here's the fact, Caldred,
even during even.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I got the walk at my college and I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
So glad that you then went on to kill tens
of thousands of people in New Jersey, including.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
In the New York City mayoral race. Former mayor Rudy Giuliani,
once known as America's Mayor, is endorsing Curtis Leewa.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Urtislea has been a hero for New York from the
time almost he was born.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Think of Rudy Giuliani two point zero. I learned from
the best. The government shut down, the Schumer shut down
stretches into day nine and patients is getting thin.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
I'm sorry, I'm aggravated.

Speaker 6 (01:38):
The first responsibility of the government is to protect the people,
and the people who are supposed to be protected are
being completely cheated.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
And there is no joy in Bronxville. The Yankees season is.

Speaker 7 (01:53):
Over lately, dich.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Taf hop them strikes out. Tony Bellinger and the Blue
Jays have done it. They have not talked to New
York Yankees, and the Yankees fans have to just say
wait until next year. Now, let's get to doctor Arthur Caplan.
Don't have to wait for him, professor of bioethics at

(02:21):
New York University Land Gone Medical Center. He's with us
every Thursday at this time, doctor Kaplan, Are you a
Yankees fan?

Speaker 5 (02:30):
No? I say this every I know I know. Let
me quote Big Poppy this morning, the Yankees lose, The
Yankees lose.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I wish I didn't bring it up. You really made
me regret bringing it up.

Speaker 7 (02:51):
Here was your wife man?

Speaker 8 (02:52):
I felt for her.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
I don't know. She doesn't talk to me in a
couple of.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Was that does have to do with the Yankees or
is this something you can't talk about it?

Speaker 9 (03:03):
It?

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Is it unrelated?

Speaker 5 (03:05):
Get a Yankee fans, big, big, big, Also Giants fans,
which is coming up tonight. So uh, it's it's almost
like I picked teams to root against New York. But
I'm an Eagles fan too. From the time Larry you
and I were down in Philly.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Well you are front runner. It sounds like aren't you you.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
No no no. I started when they were horrible. They're terrible.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Let's talk about something else that is horrible and terrible.
And I love that you're talking about this topic today
because it and I didn't even think about it until
I read what you had. But doctors' offices are incredibly outdated.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Well there's a story that ran that said, basically, people
under forty can't believe what they go to when they
go in for a doctor's basins. It just in terms
of the look you know, sort of nineteen seventies cocky tables.
There's nothing that's electronic in there that they can watch.

(04:13):
They look at their own cell phones, but you know,
they don't get health information set up on their phones
that they should be looking at while they're there getting ready.
You know, you can do some billing thing and talk
to an administrative person for what thirty minutes while you
go through insurance. That should all be done. They are

(04:33):
absolutely antiquated. Plus a fair number of these younger people
are starting to say, why am I going in here?
I mean, if all they're gonna do is check my
blood pressure or help me with my diet or diabetes,
can't they do that on zoom or you know, on
the internet.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
You can do it at the mall if they's gonna
check your blood pressure. Now, I mean, everything has been updated,
but the doctor's office. And what gets you more upset
is when you go to the back. Everything's modern, it's
all nice, it's all amazing where the doctors are, but
where you are when you come in, it's it's it's antiquated,

(05:12):
it's old.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
I don't know if I totally agree. I enjoy looking
at a nineteen eighty six readers digest.

Speaker 8 (05:21):
They have piles of magazines. You can't buy a magazine.
They don't make magazines anymore.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
They have them all. I keep saying, whenever I get
a chance to my doctor friends, could you like put
some things like tablets with medical information or questions you
might have about things, or even just plain, you know,
interesting stuff to look magazines with magazines. What is this

(05:49):
like bulgaria?

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Yeah, what it could be? Think about what it could be. Well,
you could walk in and just check in by hitting
a computer button, by hitting something in the front. You
don't have to sit there and wait for the receptionist
to get off the phone or you have to. You
don't have to look around seeing why nobody's sitting there.
You could check in yourself.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Or and by the way, just one other thing. A
lot of these places. The air conducting air transmitting air
around airflow in the office is from nineteen fifty four.
We know that there are people coming in there with colds,
with the flu, with whatever. Could we like upgrade even
like the air handling in our offices, so we don't

(06:37):
make each other sick when we go to the doctor.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
So who's to blame for this? It can't be the
doctors themselves, right, somebody else doesn't want to spend the
money on this, and they make an obscene amount of money.
Who is it?

Speaker 5 (06:51):
It's private equity sometimes those investors who buy up outpatient
surgery dirm clinics, and they don't want to spend money
on anything except, you know, maximizing profit. And the landlords
don't want to hear about it. You know, they're they're
sort of maximizing profit. I think the docs would love

(07:14):
to update and modernize and at least stagger into this century.
That would be nice. So the economic forces don't favor it,
and there's no real reward. You might get it on
customer satisfaction, but you're not going to get it in
terms of reimbursement. So next you change, we should start
to give a little financial reward if you upgrade your office.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
Oh that would be great.

Speaker 8 (07:38):
And you know what, can they please get rid of
the clipboard with the pen on the string.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Thank you, you're right, you're right, and check the boxes.

Speaker 7 (07:48):
And take that out.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
That reminds me, I haven't seen that since I think,
you know, like the fourth grade, use a number two
pencil while you're here.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Oh no, I had that I do me. The last
time I look at the doctors, I had that same
thing handed to me. So they think I'm going to
steal the pen. And by the way, if I steal
the pen, what what does it matter? Who cares if
I take the pen? You have another pen there.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
By the way, you could probably steal the pens. Who
uses pens?

Speaker 8 (08:18):
I know it's I always think to myself, I'm filling
out this form right, checking the boxes, doing the little circles.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
It's like, who's looking at this?

Speaker 5 (08:28):
I mean this should have I'm sorry to take all
our time fetching about this, but you fill out the thing.
The nurse answer to the doctor. The doctor puts it
on the table and it says, so tell me about your.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Yes, that's right, that's exactly right. And why does it
What is going on in the back that they can't
see me at the time that I show up?

Speaker 5 (08:52):
Well, I mean occasionally they fall behind because somebody takes
more time. Occasionally occasionally, no, no, I'm saying you can't.
That's the reason. Other times you're late, they're late. Who knows?
Who knows? I mean, I give some slack. There are
you know, interviews and sessions where something happens and they

(09:13):
got to spend a little more time. By the way,
would it hurt to just come out and explain that.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yes, very good?

Speaker 8 (09:19):
Yeah, absolutely, because honestly, I can get through a you know,
a Starbucks drive through and they're giving away free frappuccinos
faster than I can get through my doctor's office for
an exam.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
Ryep. Absolutely, because they know, By the way, as long
as we're complaining about it, it isn't just inconvenience to you.
It's wasted resources. You know, you're not at work, you're
losing time with the babysitter you had to hire, and
all of a sudden they're you know, costing you more.
I mean, there's there's more serious consequences just than just

(09:51):
sitting there saying, oh, Life Magazine, I I didn't realize that.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
I'm enjoying this vent fast. I really loved complaining about
this today. We'll do it again next week. Doctor Arthur Kaplan,
professor of bioethics at New York University, lend going Medical
Center with his every Thursday at nine oh five, A
baseball star, says Pete Rose and his family got a
raw deal from Major League Baseball here for yourself next. Well,

(10:16):
thanks so much for your talkbacks today. You really do
make the show. The talk back in the morning is
going to be announced in just a couple of segments,
and so good luck to you. Maybe one of the
people that just called in will get it.

Speaker 9 (10:34):
Mikey Cheryl saying that Jack chararellilled tens of thousands of
people because he worked for opioid company is like saying
Mikey Cheryl killed millions of people because she flew a
helicopter during war.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Yeah, well, look at and some of the things she
was saying were just ridiculous as some of the many
of the things. When it was brought up to you
support sanctuary cities? Do you support casualist bail? She punted,
and exactly the point you were just making, She said,
I used to be a prosecutor. I served in the military.
That's not the question. That wasn't the question. The question

(11:13):
is do you support sanctuary cities? Do you support casualist bail?
A witches brew that has caused crime and violence throughout
New Jersey and throughout the country. And she didn't want
to say it's what she's not saying that makes her unqualified.

(11:34):
I'll tell you what you asked. You asked Jack genreally
any question. You might let not like the answer, but
you're getting a straight answer, and that's what you want
from a governor.

Speaker 10 (11:44):
Okaylier, Honestly, I can't believe that somebody would sell Natalie
that Europe has been working on this peace agreement. The
EU has done nothing, nothing, to out this situation. And
these people hate Trump so much they cannot see what
really is going on.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Absolutely, that is absolutely the case. Look, it is obvious
this was Donald Trump. Israeli's give him credit. Palestinians were
channing his name all around the globe. They are giving
Donald Trump credit. The only place they don't is half

(12:27):
the people in this country. See, this is the only
country where they don't because they're so infested by politics.
They don't want to lose those midterm elections, and so
they're constantly pushing CNN and MSNBC to hate Donald Trump
as much as the Democrats do, and that filters down

(12:48):
into all the Democrats that walk around like little robots
going oh, no, no, I hate him. It wasn't him,
It wasn't him that did this. Even though it's so obvious,
they will give him no success says, even though every
single time it is obvious it was him. The only
thing that they shut up about because there's no other

(13:10):
reason for it and is so obvious, is the border.
They'll give him credit for that. Well, they won't give
them credit. They just won't talk about it as if
it never happened, as if it wasn't the worst things
that ever happened in this country. All right, let's talk
about Pete Rose for a second. I think we said
this before, that how cheap it was to make them

(13:34):
eligible for the Hall of Fame after he died, And
I'm not the only one that has said that. Major
League Baseball star Moe Vaughn said basically the same thing,
that he had sympathy for the family, not just for
Pete Rose, but for his family.

Speaker 11 (13:52):
I think Pegos is baseball. I think he exemplifies everything
that baseball is. I think it's I feel bad for
him and his family that now that he gets passed
on and is in the heavens, then now we're gonna
take him off and put him in the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Right exactly exactly if it was right now, if it's
right now to do it, it was right before when
he was living. He suffered enough. Why did you have
to wait till he died? That was cheap.

Speaker 11 (14:27):
If there is a guy that I feel should be inducted,
should be granted some latitude, and I know, oh you know, well,
he needed to apologize. Listen, we all get we all
make mistakes. But he's going to get an opportunity now.
And we see he didn't. He didn't bet against us,
he didn't bet against him, He didn't bet against his team.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
He was betting for his team.

Speaker 11 (14:50):
And listen, there's all rules and regulations that I get it.
But if he has an opportunity to get him, I'm
glad that he will.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
He will get to him.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
The worst thing is some of those rules regulations have changed.

Speaker 8 (15:01):
Now.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
No, I agree with him one thousand percent. Thank you
Mo Vaughn for saying that out loud. Now, let's get
the news at nine to thirty with Jacqueline Carl Jacqueline Larry.

Speaker 12 (15:11):
President Trump says Israel and Hamas have signed on to
the first phase of his proposed peace plant. Trump posted
on truth Social that all of the hostages will be
released very soon and Israel will withdraw their troops to
an agreed uponline as the first steps towards a strong, durable,
and everlasting piece. A former Yankee star is ripping team

(15:32):
management following the Yankees loss last night, which ended their season.

Speaker 13 (15:36):
Kim Schlitzler was charged with the loss after allowing four
runs as the Bronx Bombers fellow to the Blue Jays
five to two, had lost the Alds series. They gave
up a whopping thirty four runs in the four games.
Yankee manager Aaron Boone, it's.

Speaker 7 (15:49):
A team that played for one another, did a lot
of really good things, and we got beat here now.

Speaker 13 (15:54):
Former Yankee star Alex Rodriguez, who's now a TV baseball commentator,
heavily criticized the front off after the game. He called
the team one of the worst constructions of a roster
he's ever seen. Ayrod says manager Aaron Boone is least
to blame. I'm Scattpringle WRDWS.

Speaker 12 (16:10):
So if you happened to be in Chiliwak, British Columbia
last year, you could have gotten a great deal on
some things. According to the Smithsonian magazine, someone donated eleven
rings and two medallions to a thrift shop that experts
believe might be more than a thousand years old. Staff
at the Thrifty boutique didn't realize their importance and priced

(16:31):
each ITAM at about twenty one bucks before putting them
out for sale.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
I know.

Speaker 12 (16:36):
Archaeologist Sabriena Higgins believes the items date back to the
fourth or fifth century, based on the materials and techniques used,
and suspects they came from somewhere in the Western Roman Empire.
Starting x fall, undergraduate students will study the mysterious objects
as part of a new archaeology class, going through the
entire process of researching and analyzing the collection. So we

(16:58):
won't know that and if we should have hired tailed
it to Chilliwack while we had the chance.

Speaker 5 (17:03):
But I love.

Speaker 12 (17:04):
Stories like that, when people go into a thrift shop
and they buy something for like practically nothing and it
turned out to be worth a fortune. I think that's
why people love to watch antiques road show.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
I do too, about I'll tell you what, in chili Wack,
there's somebody, there's probably more than one person that said
I had that in my hand. Yes, I was gonna
buy that, and it looked like junk.

Speaker 8 (17:23):
It was so old.

Speaker 12 (17:25):
I wanted to get them down but they stuck at
twenty one bucks and they're just beating themselves up.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Now I know, I get it.

Speaker 12 (17:32):
Speaking of money, let's head over to Wall Street at
the opening belt. The opening bell is sponsored by Dime
Community Bank. We've got your bank, coming to Lakewood, New
Jersey in twenty twenty six, but serving New York for
over two one hundred and sixty years. I almost gave
them even more credit, one hundred and sixty years in

(17:53):
New York. So the Dow opened up fifty five points,
the S and P opened up eight points, and the
Nasdaq opened up three.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Points thanks to Jacquelyn Trying on Shoes. Listen to this
Trying on Shoes is gonna go high tech plus Ways
and I'm gonna listen to this one because I use
Ways every single day. Ways is changing how you interact
with the app. We think you're really gonna like this.
Update Tech expert Rich de Muro with that and a

(18:20):
whole lot more. Next well, Rich Demurro. Rich on Tech
has heard Sunday nights from eight to eleven pm on WOOR.
It is a great show. If you're into tech, it's
a must listen to. Rich is with us every Thursday
at this very time. By the way, if you have
any questions you want to keep up on tech news,
you can also follow him on Instagram at rich on Tech.

(18:45):
Good morning to your rich.

Speaker 7 (18:48):
Good morning to you, Larry.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
I love your story about Ways. Ways is my favorite
thing in the world. I we have a joke in
our family you never question in Ways. Whatever Ways says
to do you do it?

Speaker 7 (19:03):
My gosh, do you great? Do you agree with those
left hand turns?

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Yeah? I just find it every single time I go, well,
that's stupid, like why would I get off here? And
then I find myself stuck in traffic for another hour?
And so we've now decided Ways is God. Ways is
the traffic god. And so I'm really interested about what

(19:27):
the change is with Ways.

Speaker 7 (19:30):
Well, I like you love Ways. I don't always listen
to it because I you know, it does make some
interesting choices, and I'm like, okay, I feel like I'm
better than that. But you're right. It's always right at
the end of the day, and it does a lot
of things, and people have loved Ways for many years now.
It's getting and one of the things people love about
it is the ability to report things like hazards on

(19:52):
the road, police, ahead, traffic, whatever you want, you can
report it, and typically that takes a couple of taps
on the app to report what you're trying to see
or what you've seen on the road. Now they're letting
you do it with conversational reporting, so now you can
talk to ways to report road hazards. AI will comprehend
what you're trying to say and it will put it

(20:14):
into the app for other users. So, for instance, if
you see an object in the road, you used to
have to tap a couple times to report that. Now
you would just tap once and say object in road
or mattress on the road or whatever, and it would
use AI to understand that and put that into the
system to alert other drivers behind you. So again it's
just figuring out the right report type without any specific

(20:38):
commands or extra taps on the phone, which I think
is a pretty good safety win for when you're driving.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Yeah, that's why I don't report a lot exactly what
you're talking about. It takes a few buttons, You got
to get to a certain area, and then sometimes they
don't even have the thing that you want to report.
So this is brilliant. See, you didn't think they could
make Ways any better, and they went and did it.

Speaker 7 (20:58):
Let's talk about I just tell you my favorite, sure,
my favorite feature on Ways that I use every single
day of my life, and it is the time to
leave feature. So whenever I have to go somewhere, I
just search for that place in Ways, and instead of
saying go right now, it says leave later, and I
tap that. And I love seeing that little scrollable time

(21:21):
window where you say, okay, if I leave at two
pm or if I want to be there at two pm,
I got to leave it one twenty five. I absolutely
love that feature. I use it every single day of
my life.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Hey, Nia, Natalie is shaking her head. Yes, and I
have never heard of it before.

Speaker 8 (21:35):
No, it's fantastic, right, Really, it's a life changer because
you can save yourself, say fifteen minutes at home because
you just look, okay, you know what, No, I don't
have to leave until this time. Then you could set
your whole day. And you know how organized I like
to be, so it really dolps me out.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Oh that's great. I didn't even know about that.

Speaker 7 (21:52):
And you can get an alert, Yeah, you can get
an alert too for that time. I mean, it's really
like my absolute favorite feature. I think it's a It's
like my secret superpower because people will arrive late or early.
I'm always just on time.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
You know.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
When I look at what is the top app on
the app Store, I now am scared of the future.
Explain what it is.

Speaker 7 (22:15):
It's called Sora and this is from CHATCHYBT. Well open AI,
the makers of CHATCHYBT. And if you know what a
deep fake is, it's basically a TikTok of deep fakes.
A deep fake is basically when they use AI to
create someone's likeness. Most of the time that has a
negative connotations, used for you know, nefarious reasons, fake news, misinformation,
all that kind of stuff. But Sora actually lets people

(22:37):
make fake videos of themselves on purpose for fun. So
you download the app, which I've done, You take a
little video of yourself saying something. Now it has your likeness,
and then you just type something in Hey, I want
to be surfing on the largest wave in Hawaii. I
want to be hiking Mount Everest, I want to be
on a roller coaster with flames going through And it

(23:01):
will create that video using aiither about ten seconds, and
it will post it for your friends to see and
you can swipe through this app just like you would
TikTok looking through all these videos that people have created.
It is absolutely wild. But you're right, it is a
scary new future that we have. It's a scary new
line we've crossed actually in creating our own deep fakes

(23:22):
of ourselves for entertainment.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
I will tell you I do enjoy on social media
when they have press conferences with like Donald Trump or
maybe the manager of the Yankees, and they put, in
other words, ridiculous things. I'm not sure how they do it,
but thank god, it's always so ridiculous. You know it's fake, but.

Speaker 7 (23:44):
This Scroll through this for five minutes and you will
not believe the stuff you see. I mean, it's like,
it's just unbelievable, and it's I never thought I would
actually enjoy scrolling through. But some of the stuff people
are coming up with is actually quite creative. But it
just brings up a whole new can of warm about
you know, copyright and of course cameos and deep fakes

(24:04):
and all this stuff that we're sort of wondering about
in the future.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
I'll do it today. Hopefully I won't waste too much
time on it. Let's do it. How about this. We've
teased this too, and it's a it's a great thing.
I can already see the benefits of this. Google's Virtual
shoe try On. What is that?

Speaker 7 (24:21):
Yeah? This is Google has had this feature called AI
try On for a couple of months now. It's basically
part of Google Shopping. If you want to see how
something looks on you, you can snap a picture of
yourself and you can flip through different you know, photos
of you wearing different clothes. And I actually went behind
the scenes with Google to see how they do this.
They had a studio where they had a bunch of

(24:43):
models in there, different shapes and sizes, taking a whole
bunch of pictures of them, and then that's what they
use as the basis for the AI to put you
in that picture, so you can say what size you are,
your height, your weight, all that good stuff, and it
helps shape the picture. But now they I've expanded this
to shoes, so you don't even need to take a
picture of your feet. AI will just figure out what

(25:05):
size your feet are, but it shows you the picture
of the shoes on your feet now, so that you
can see how shoes and sneakers would look like on
your feet, not necessarily if they will fit perfectly. I
think you still have to go into a store for that,
but at least it shows you what you're going to
look like wearing these sneakers.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
This next story is a pretty important one, and I
guess a lot of people will make some money on this.
The Federal Trade Commission has reached a settlement with Amazon.
People are going to get money back. How do you
know if you qualify?

Speaker 7 (25:34):
Okay, so you're not going to get rich off the
money you're going to get back. Refunds are going to
be up to fifty one dollars per person, but hey,
every little bit counts. The refunds will be automatic, and
here's the ways that you would get them. You got
to live in the US, obviously. If you're listening to this,
that's probably the case. You either had Prime or you
tried to cancel Prime between twenty nineteen and twenty twenty

(25:56):
five June twenty third, and then you used fewer than
three Prime benefits in any twelve month period, which means
you didn't really shop a lot. Basically, you signed up
and you kind of like couldn't figure out how to
get rid of it, and so you didn't use any
of the benefits, so you will get this automatically by
December twenty fifth of this year. Here is my warning
to you, because these scammers get hiped to this stuff.

(26:20):
You might get an email that says, hey, sign up
for your Prime refund. Oh, don't do it. The refunds
are going to be automatic. The FTC is not going
to call you, they're not going to text, you're not
going to email you. So just know if you had Prime,
you might be seeing a refund come December.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Thanks a lot, richardmiro Rich and Tech has heard Sunday
nights from eight to eleven pm when we come back,
my final thoughts, a recap of today's show and the
talk back of the morning. Now with some final thoughts,
here's Larry. Tomorrow at ten o'clock in the morning, the
Norwegian Nobel Committee will announce the Nobel Peace Prize in
a just world. In a normal world, the award would

(26:56):
go to Donald Trump. There is no reason person in
the world who doesn't think he should win, and yet
he won't. Throughout the Middle East, he is being hailed
as a hero right now throughout most of the world,
he's being hailed as a hero. Even in Palestine, they
were chanting his name and celebration. In this country, just watch,

(27:22):
just watch what happens. The woke will fold their arms
and sulk like toddlers because they would rather have continued
death and suffering than have Donald Trump have a success.
That's how pervasive, that's how destructive Trump derangement syndrome is.

(27:44):
And it's not just in this country. It's a global epidemic.
Donald Trump has now ended several conflicts, but by far
his greatest success is bringing peace to an area that
has been torn apart by violence and war for sixty years.
It was a diplomatic miracle. Barack Obama was given the

(28:08):
Nobel Peace Prize and he did nothing. I was gonna
say nothing close to this, but he did nothing. He
just got into office. He won simply because he was
Barack Obama and his politics fit, showing that the Nobel
Committee really has no values. It's not peace that you

(28:30):
get the Nobel Peace Prize for. It's politics. It's far
left politics. I do hope I'm wrong, but I don't
think I will be. Trump shouldn't be disappointed. His prize
is in the success and that will go down in
history and the Norwegian Nobel Committee will suffer nothing but
global ridicule and what they fear the most irrelevance. Coming

(28:58):
up next, Mark Simone welcomes. I'm as Steve Moore in
wobar's Fox Across America host Jimmy Faila. Plus listen for
the keyword after the ten o'clock news, Then head to
seven to ten woo dot com for your chance at
a thousand dollars. And now we'll recap of today's show.
We had a great time this morning with actor Jeremy Piven,

(29:19):
who's bringing his stand up show to Sony Hall on
October nineteenth.

Speaker 6 (29:24):
I literally was just in Boston and this dude goes, yo, man,
me my girl love Rush Hour. He goers, yo, man,
do that scene for me. I go, you want me
to do a seven minute scene for you?

Speaker 5 (29:33):
Sir?

Speaker 1 (29:33):
You're a stranger. He stood up.

Speaker 6 (29:35):
He was six foot seven.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
I looked at him.

Speaker 6 (29:37):
I said, so you've got the moke Tina skin and
the big broad shoulders. Let's put a dead animal on you.
Butter cream butter cring, crackskin butter cream.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
What's blow?

Speaker 1 (29:46):
The way's mystery means? He was great doctor Benjamin Dwarkin
of Rowan University believes last night's New Jersey gubernatorial debate
is unlikely to have a major impact on the race.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
Last night's debate had a lot of fireworks, but here's
my prediction. It will not make a difference unless you
have a major implosion like Joe Biden did a year
or so ago. That's when it debate makes a difference.
They each had some good punches and largely it's a draw.
This election is going to come down to turn out,

(30:23):
and we.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Heard it was a special moment. We heard a different
side of ABC's Jordana Miller reporting from Jerusalem following news
of a peace deal in the Middle East.

Speaker 14 (30:32):
I think there's an incredible sense of relief and gratitude
to President Trump. It's hard to believe that after two
years the war really feels like it is over. Both
of my children woke up around three point thirty in
the morning last night and I said to them, hate guys.
There's no more sirens, no more bad guys. They said, yes,

(30:55):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
And the talk back in the morning and winner of
the MENTI in the morning, T Shirt wanted to let
us all know how he felt about the news of peace.

Speaker 15 (31:06):
I'm not Israeli, but my God, all those years, the
suffering people on both sides, the Jewish people, the Palestinian people.
I tears cint in my eyes. It's just amazing and amazing.
I'm praying that at holes, my friend, I'm praying at holes.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Yeah, I agree with you. I'm praying too. And don't
