Speaker 1 (00:00):
Where we're at in the New York mayor's race seems
like a script, doesn't it. I mean, it doesn't seem
like it could possibly be real that a socialist with
little experience can come in and be the front runner.
But it is real, and we want to talk about
that with Jimmy Fayla, wor host from nine to midnight
(00:21):
on Fox Across America with Jimmy Fayla and host of
Fox News Saturday Night with Jimmy Fayla on the Fox
News Channel. He joins us every Tuesday at this time. Jimmy,
it plays out like a Hollywood script. One that's not credible,
but it plays out like a Hollywood script this mayoral election.
(00:44):
Let's talk about it one thing at a time. How
about Eric Adams dropping out of the race.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Well, listen, that's a concern for me because if Adams
isn't in New York, that's going to devastate the nightclub industry.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
You know, this guy has single.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Handedly propped up the bottle service and the club's Lower.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Manhattan for the better part of four years.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
So it's an economic driver we can't afford to lose.
And we're going to implement socialism.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
And decimate more of our tax base. So yes, I
have concerns, as do you.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
No, I don't have a concern right now.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
I'm waiting to see the next polls because everybody says
people start to drop out, it's going to affect the race.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
I'm not sure this is enough.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
I don't see it. I'll tell you this.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I was on Jesse water Show last night, if Fox
I had interviewed Curtis Lee were earlier in the day,
ran into a vake Ramaswami shortly after that, and as
we were all just having a collective chit chat, I
kind of came to the realization that Trump they want,
Mom Donnie.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Oh sure, I mean that's the reality. It's that he's
become a.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Bigger prize for the midterms than New York is in
the mayorial race. And I think that's the calculus because
with Adams dropping out, it's not like a wave of
money king Pomo's way. It's not like a wave of
money is coming Curtis's way. And I don't think even
if they consolidate supports, they're catching this guy. I think
Mom Donnie caught a moment the way Obama did. And
(02:13):
you know, I look at it from that standpoint now, like,
what's the go forward? How does this help us? You
know a lot of my cab driving buddies are going
to benefit because they're going to be driving folks to
the airport who are looking at real estate down in
Florida and Raleigh, North Carolina. So that's the go folks,
Like you know, I'm the silver lining guy. Nobody likes SAOC,
nobody likes AOC, but there's so much migrant prostitution in
(02:36):
her district that he's saving the late night taxi industry.
So I'm silver lining, Jimmy, I gotta look upside. I mean,
I agree with you that this is like a Hollywood script,
but it was written during the writer strike. That's the problem.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Oh yeah, But look at it for Donald Trump, if
from his point of view, which is why I think
he keeps talking about the race because he knows the
more he talks about it, the more it infuriates Democrats,
and the more they'll get out the vote. So You're
absolutely right, he's playing this like a fiddle. But not
only will it help him in the midterms, but he
gets a chance to say I got to come in
and save New York City the city that I love.
(03:12):
I guarantee you that's coming.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Yeah, he loved and he loves the idea of doing that.
I mean two weeks ago when he shut up to
the Yankee game on nine to eleven. With the exception
of maybe that Madison Square Garden rally, those are the
two isolated moments where Trump really got a mass New
York ovation. Now, to be clear, there's a lot of
people here who like him, but you know how much
(03:36):
social pressure there was to not like him from like
twenty sixteen to say, a year ago. And I think,
you know, he's getting that old feeling again that he
could be, you know, a member of polite society here
in New York and not necessarily you know, celebrities are
going to embrace him. But the fact is he's writing
his own ending to the story in every sense of
(03:59):
the word. And I think you're right to say that
if mom Donnie wins and kind of tanks the city,
he can be that steward from DC that gets it
back on its feet. And yeah, I think he liked
that sort of thing. I think you're onto something here, Larry.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Which is a fancy way of saying Mom Donnie's gonna win.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah, I've thought that for a while now. Unless both sleeves.
Curtis Lee was not going anywhere, there's no way he's
dropping out. And in less two or more dropped out,
there was no way anybody was gonna win. And I
think that you're right. Donald Trump is playing this like
a fiddle. Hey, let's talk about have you been watching
(04:36):
the story about the Kansas City Karen that stole the
headband from the little kid?
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yes, rolling on. What do you need to know?
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I want to know how you felt about it. The
fact that she came out and look part of me
admires her, the gumption of her, she doubled down on
it and said the kids got it.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
Tough en up, man. People are gonna come after her.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Oh yeah, she's gonna get it. Now.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
It seems like we're going through this pocket where every
week now a new woman's services.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
She's either still on a headband, or there was that.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Baseball or you know, they just changed the cracker barrel logo.
But the point is, after peak, some woman's like bringing
on Internet.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
It's become like its own pastime.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Like I used to bet money on the Yankees, but
now I'm.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Just betting money on crazy white women.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Do that should be a frum bet? You're absolutely right. Yeah,
I know that there's been three that.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
There was the Philly Karen, there was this woman, and
then there was a guy at the US Open. Remember
him that that grabbed a hat?
Speaker 4 (05:41):
What was it? What did he grab hand?
Speaker 2 (05:44):
He grabbed an autograph hat. The player signed an autograph hat.
The guy grabbed it and handed it to his crowd,
and it looked like it was going to the kid. Now,
I'm just gonna say one thing about that one without
becoming the Karen on the internet. If you're a kid
sitting in the front row at the US Open, you're
doing fine in life.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Those are like five thousand. That kid's gonna be fine.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Where's my kids selling boodleg.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Bottled water in the parking lot?
Speaker 2 (06:10):
You know, that's the kid we need to be focused
on here.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
So you're on the side of the person that grabbed
it from him. Is that what you're saying here, Jimmy.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Regardless of me, the US Open is a different animal.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
There's so much money in that stadium that if you're
one of those kids, you're sitting with a parent that
is like, you know, you probably had a super sweet
sixteen where you flew it on a private jet and
came up out of the out.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Of the floor.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Okay, my kid had to work as a waiter at
his own birthday party just to cover the piece of head.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
To hear it, I have never heard anybody take a
side against the kid. That's a brave move on your part,
Jimmy fella. That that's kind of that's really kind of incredible.
I will tell you this though, this woman. I can't
get over this woman. Nina mill is her name. I
want to keep saying her name just in case people
(07:02):
know who she is so they can harass her.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
I just don't get over the dumption of this.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
And by the way, in the other story in the
in the US open story, the player came and took pictures.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
And gave him something.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
I haven't heard anything from Patrick Mahomes, yet another reason
to hate the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
I haven't heard anything from him.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Well, I think what's going to happen is that, you know,
it's always proportional to what the Internet does with the story,
meaning if they walk away in a day, then it's
kind of forgotten. But if they keep the heat on
you know by Thursday you'll see this kid in Taylor
Swift's box.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
You know, on the jumbo.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Right, you might be right onto something.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
I'm giving you one thousand percent credit if that happens.
Thanks so much, Jimmy Fayler. Jimmy Fayla WO our host
from nine to midnight Fox Across America with Jimmy Fayla
joins us every Tuesday at eight thirty five.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
Thanks again, Jimmy.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Okay, you guys are the best.
