Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now with some final thoughts, Here's Larry Man. It's perplexing.
What is wrong with New Jersey Democratic candidate for governor
Mikey Cheryl? Seriously, what was she thinking? She knew she
used inside her information to buy defense stocks while she

(00:20):
was in Congress to make seven million dollars for her family.
She knew that, she knew that would come out, and
yet when she was asked about it by Charlemagne de
god on the Breakfast Show, she turned into Ralph Cramdon
haamana ahama, ahamahamana. How did she not know that question
was coming? It came up the night before in a debate,

(00:41):
and she still wasn't prepared. Now I understand that she
didn't know, maybe that this was coming something she tried
to keep a secret that she faced disciplinary action when
she was at the Naval Academy for not being honest
about fellow classmates who cheated on the final exams. They

(01:03):
were all expelled. She was told she could not participate
in the commencement ceremony, which is a big deal at
the Naval Academy. She didn't know that would come out.
She should have, but that in itself is a test
of character. Isn't it. The noble thing would be to

(01:28):
admit it right up front, or when it did come out,
to own up to it, admit the mistake and say
that it made you grow as a person, But apparently
it didn't. That's what the Naval Academy would expect, that
kind of honesty, but she disappointed them and us again. Instead,

(01:50):
she and other Democrats are blaming Donald Trump, Oh you
saw that coming, with no evidence that the President or
anyone in the administration knew about the release. So even
the request that was made to the National Archives by
someone associated with Republican candidate for Governor Jack Chitarelli's campaign,

(02:10):
Brent Johnson, the political reporter for Jersey dot Com, checked
with the National Archives and they admit they just made
a mistake by not redacting the records. But none of
this matters. What matters is that it's true, and since
no one is denying it, not the Naval Academy, not

(02:31):
candidate Cheryl, it must be true. So all these years later,
since that graduation, Michael Cheryl once again faced a moral
test that required a choice, and once again she failed.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
