Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now we might be in for a nor'easter raised stagic.
W o R channel meteorologist has the latest forecast for us.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Ray.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
You know, we haven't talked to you for a long time,
and and I don't mean this a bad way, but
that's a good thing because it usually means that we've
had really nice weather for a long stretch.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Uh, Larry, you know what I tell everybody the same thing.
Could we ever talk when the weather is going to
be nice?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
No?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
I mean just one time.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
No.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
You know, it's almost like you know you're in trouble
when the bartender cries.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Right, that's right exactly, So.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
You know you're in trouble when the meteorologist is on
live warning.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
When you turn on the news and then meteorologists is
the first story, it's oh no, oh my.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
God, exactly. It Never did they say, hey, we're gonna
go to Ray stage again. Boy, what a beautiful we
no Ray, such shine, comfortable temperatures, everything's gonna be great. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
The exception is some times on a holiday weekend. Every
once in a while, on a holiday weekend, they'll go
to the medeorologist. That's it, though, that's the only.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Time exactly that is the only time. But yeah, things
could be unraveling later on the weekend, early next week,
Monday holiday for many of us. I'll be here. But
that's a different story. Potential northeaster what that is. Everybody
always confuses northeaster with winter storms. Basically, it's all about

(01:26):
the direction the wind's going to be coming from. And
what direction do you think that is? Northeast? So ding ding, ding,
ding ding. Five and a half years of education and
get that one right.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
You are good man.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
The northeast wind will pick up low pressure potentially developing
off the coast of the Carolina's tracking north and right
now we're going for rain, maybe some gusty winds maybe
thirty forty plus miles per hour as we go through
Sunday Monday, and maybe some heavy rain in spots. And
with that and that onshore or flow coming off the

(02:00):
Atlantic and strong high pressure to the northeast tightening up
that pressure gradient, coastal problems will continue. Coastal flooding, beach erosion,
and certainly some high surf too. So you know, not
completely convinced. So anything below the line. I drew the
line when I said the forecast this morning didn't. I
I drew line. I said anything below this line is

(02:22):
subject to change, or if I didn't, I'm telling you
now beyond like Saturday night, it gets a little iffy.
I do think rain could start spreading in here sometime
late Saturday night Sunday, and the rain may get heavy
as we get into Sunday, maybe lingering on into parts
of Monday too, and get a little bit windy. So
we should probably talk again, maybe tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, let's do that. You'll know better tomorrow because I
can tell that you're hesitant right now in saying anything definitive.
I get it. I understand. Thanks so much. Raced Agic
