Gender Affirming Care and Prostate Awareness: It’s September on MHM

Neil Scott and co-host, Dr. Tom Walsh, director of the UW Men’s Health Center take questions about prostate cancer during ‘Prostate Cancer Awareness Month’, or as Neil calls it, ‘Prostate ACTION Month.’ Have you had a PSA test? If not, why not?? Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men. Don’t put off you annual PSA test!!

They then welcome Dr. Alex Skokan, a prominent urologist from the University of Washington, to focus on gender affirming care. What happens to men’s health, when men transition to female?
