Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, guys, it's Bethany from the Michael J Morning Show.
You're listening to Michael J and Bethany after Hours.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Ninety three point one w p C. Now, Trudy.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
So the man that was convicted or I guess he
was accused of killing Rachel Morin.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Well he's been convicted, now convicted.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Now he was found guilty yesterday. I can imagine that
this feels like a relief, probably to the family. Yeah,
I really can't. I can't believe how long it took.
I can't believe how much they've been through. So that's
it's got.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
A fel Did you hear the part of the story
where the guy who found her had a feeling that
it was near a drainage pipe, like he had some
sort of premonition, and then he told police to look
near drainage pipes and that's how they found her.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Oh that's interesting.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Crazy the other big stories speaking of drainage pipes is
what a weird tie in here. But you know late Montabello,
which is pretty famous around in Baltimore. I mean people
that grew up in East side of Baltimore. I grew
up in Hamilton, so everybody close it was near where
Memorial Stadium used to be.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Anyway, it was built.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
This whole drainage system was put in in eighteen seventy six.
Back in twenty twenty, they started having problems with it.
They had to dig it up and there was a sinkhole,
and one thing led to another. It started out as
they thought that they could fix it for ten million,
then twenty million, now thirty million. And there's a running
festival that happens around there, and they're going to have
(01:35):
that that festival, but then they're going to shut it
back down. And I guess they're going to drain lake
Montabello they're saying now, and have to dredge it out,
and that's going to take a couple of years. So
that whole construction and that mess that's been going on
around Lake Montabello and the drainage thing is going to continue.
It's not gonna be done anytime next couple of years.
And the city now says they're going to spend thirty
(01:57):
million dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Ninety three point one WP.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
We see traffic, Oh boy, that's that is stressful, all right,
So we're stopping go. It looks like a seventy westbound
the Barefoot Blue Gie.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Yeah, Michael, Jay and Bethany Get in your Morning started
seven eighteen Jaco in ninety three point one, WPOC. I
told you we were talking with John a minute ago,
who's in the Coast Guard, actually works as a civilian
with the Coast Guard for some time down at Curtis Bay.
So I asked him, Hey, John, you got a boat yourself?
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I did. I used to, but as our family got
a little bigger, we got rid of it. But maybe
in the near future. But yeah, we used to have
a smaller boat.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
And if you had to say anything any advice to
somebody who was thinking about getting a boat, what would
you say to them?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Thank toys.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Music City minished in sixty seconds. If you don't know,
like you own music Row, all right, well.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
You know who's got.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
A couple of bumps and bruises. Kelsey Ballerini was on
stage Sunday night. What happened, Well, they had a small
little bandstand kind of thing on the stage, so it
was like a riser, and she was dancing across the stage.
Then she jumped up on the riser. She was dancing
some more, really getting into it. Forgot she was on
(03:14):
the riser and boomed right in the middle of friends
in low places. She was doing a cover of Garth
Brooks and she ended up in a low place. The
crowd cheer on help her feel better.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
But god, that must be Although something about falling with
a crowd, yeah, makes you feel a little bit like
falling out yourself where there's no one else around. That
feels really.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Stupid, right, But when you got like, you know, eighteen thousand.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
People, you're like, oh my gosh, maybe that's better.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
A Jelly Roll is in the minute this morning.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
He has now lost two hundred pounds. Wow.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
That's amazing.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
And he has set a new goal.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Okay, Jelly says he wants to drop another one hundred
pounds and when he does, he's going skydiving with Miss
jelly Roll Bunny XO. So look out, Oh look, there's
Jelly Jumman out of the plane. Bird.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
No, it's Jelly Roll. Yeah. That is your Music City
Minute this morning.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
We are something going eight ninety five southbound between Pulaski
Highway and the Harbor Tunnel south end.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
There's now somebody took a survey on this here at
ninety three point one WPOC with Michael J and Bethany,
and they've come up with this data.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
One in four women have cried in.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
The last day, and they say that sixty two percent
of people who confess to crying say the place that
they were crying is in their car.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
I think that's kind of of unusual.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
There must be something going on that we're all in
the same spot and that it's happening so regularly, you
know what I mean. Yeah, so I asked on Facebook
just to kind of get a a feeling for it.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Jennifer says Michael J.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
I cried twice since Friday, in the car after an
appointment with the doctor and the bathroom shower the next day.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Yeah, I can see all in the shower, you know.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
The shower for whatever reason opens us up to just
feeling relaxed and the warm water and I feel really
creative there, Yeah, or maybe more emotional because of the
war comes out and anyway, She says the reason that
she was crying is because her knee has been injured
for almost three years and no medical professional that she's
(05:37):
seen so far can figure out how to fix it.
She's been an athletic person her whole life and hasn't
been able to do more than walk carefully all this time.
It's wearing on me to say the least pain can
be the most man aggravating, and I can see how
that can bring tears.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
But what is it that we're all crying about? If
one in four, I mean, you know.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Texas, why would you cry? Seven to seven ninety six
two begin your message with higher Hey, this could be funny,
this could be lighthearted, or this could be sad.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Eight hundred three two one thirty six ninety three. I
have been crying after my shower.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
So what is going on with that? You just feel you.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Don't know, like it didn't used to happen right like
as of late, I'll like take a shower, I'll be
wrapped up in my towel, I'll come back to my
bedroom and I'll just be like then I don't know why,
But then after that I feel better?
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Wrong, soap, wrong, I don't know. No, we would love
you're too hot. We want to hear from you. Eight
hundred three two one thirty six ninety three.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
Gee check come round if you take with you? Whose
is the door for the winner list?
Speaker 3 (06:55):
All right?
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Last few minutes here at ninety three point one w POC.
We've been talking about what makes you.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Because texts aren't going to make me cry.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
We've been getting all this Well, it came in yesterday
someone did a big study on crying, and apparently one
in four women say they have cried in the last day.
I don't see the same stats on guys. We try
to suck it up, but that always works out.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
Well.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Yeah, but you know what you know, what you normally
gets me is a movie, but I'll tear up at
the end, like Life List.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Have you seen that moviell?
Speaker 1 (07:27):
No, I haven't seen it yet, but somebody said, I
just watched Lifeless and lost my mom a couple of
years ago, and I cried my eyes out.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
It's a really good movie, by the way, it's on Netflix,
and I don't want to give too much of the
story away.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Just watch it.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
But at the end of life List, I'm like, you know,
kind of uh oh.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
He's a little allergy.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Yesterday, my daughter and I cried in her car remembering
my dad on the twentieth anniversary of her death. We
shared some special moments we had with him. That's nice.
Then someone said, my dad passed away a little over
two years ago, and I have his truck and every
time time leave price things, I drive your truck.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
In a whole lot. Yeah yeah, that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Songs will get me.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
And then someone said, good morning. Last time I cried
was this weekend. I fractured my elbow with a small
dislocation eight weeks ago. I know it's still healing and
it hurts. And then my husband said a bad joke
and it hurt my feelings and I cried. Oh he
said sorry. She said, lol, that's cool.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
You know.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Well, then'll like if you're upset about something else, and
then somebody says just the wrong thing, like even if
they didn't mean it, it'll just like tip.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
It's just I'm glad that someone brought up Life List,
and I would say, I don't know if you can
watch it tonight, but if you want to tomorrow about
this same time at seven thirty, I would like to
ask you because in life List, it's a list of
things that the mom wants the daughter to do before.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
And I'm not going to say more because I want
you to watch to movie.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Okay, but there's a point, and there's also a little
four point list that the mother gives the daughter of
things that she needs to be able to answer before
she's says yes, I'll marry you.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
So the four requirements basically of you know the new
partner exactly. So tomorrow morning, I want to find out
from you around seven thirty what it is that you
would require before you you know, either pop the question
or say I do. Ninety three point one w POC
Traffic And that movie's perfect because it talks all about
it lifeless.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
If you want to, I'll see if I can watch
it tonight. So I'm prepared for our discussion tomorrow. Gotcha

Speaker 4 (09:52):
And around these parts it's April the fifteenth, tax day, right,
that's what's trending.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Everybody's got to pay their taxes.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
And if you can't afford to pay your taxes, all
on you know one fell swoop. I guess she asked
for the payment plan. Yeah, sorry for you. I'm familiar
with that.
Speaker 3 (10:11):

million last year, he's number three. Luke Combs grossed over
one hundred and seventy three million.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
I feel like number one's got to be Morgan Wallen.

not Morgan Wallen.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
