Hi Mark, Hey guys, how you doing?
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Hi good? How are you good?
Speaker 2 (00:14):
I'm doing very well.
Speaker 4 (00:15):
Thank you for having me.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
It's good, I should have said, a woman named Tina.
Excuse me?
Speaker 5 (00:19):
Yeah, you will.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
As a woman, definitely, So why don't we start there?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Please tell us about the lovely lady Tina and your first.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Date that it is great. We got a long lot,
We had a lot of laughs.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
In the state.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
I thought, I thought it'd be fun to do something
off the wall, a little bit, something not your typical
boring first date.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
It was really hot. I it's getting into the summer.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
So I took Tina to Maury's Peers and we had
a great time.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Fun.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
Okay, love it as a first date.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Yes, let's get something different the child why not?
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (00:57):
Fair? Fair?
Speaker 3 (01:00):
How was it?
Speaker 2 (01:01):
It was great?
Speaker 4 (01:02):
I mean I had a phenomenal time. Love those rides
and going there since I as a kid. And h yeah,
I think she had a good time. She said she
had a lot of fun, and we had We were
joking and lyning because you know you have a long time.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
It's no the summer.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
There's lots of line, so we could talk while we
were in line, and then and then enjoy the rides.
And then they got food and stuff there too, So
I thought we had a great time. But I haven't
heard back from her, so I don't know. Maybe she
had too much water in her in her bikini.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
Okay, all right, can I imagine where this went?
Speaker 6 (01:32):
Honestly a great idea outside of like just a water park,
but like amusement park or somewhere with lines that has
like a heartbreak in a conversation, so there's not like
this awkward silence, like there's always something going.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
On, always something to talk about, people watching, the best
people watching.
Speaker 6 (01:47):
Oh but prayers to those people in line around you
as you're getting to know each other and to look
at each other, like what is happening in front of us?
Speaker 3 (01:55):
This is her first date.
Speaker 5 (01:57):
I like it.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
Maybe you didn't offer her curly fries at Mory's peers,
that might be it. That could be a deal breaker.
But we need to find out, Mark.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
So what we'll do is put you on hold, play
a song, try to get Tina on the phone next.
Hopefully her bathing suit is all dried out now and
we'll get some details next. On ninety five point one WayV.
Ninety five point one WayV. Mike and Diane's second date update.
We talked to Mark a few minutes ago. He told
us about his first date with Tina. They went to
(02:26):
the water parks at Maury's Peers.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Mark, you had a great time.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Right, I had a phenomenal time.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
But you haven't heard. You haven't heard anything from Tina
after that date.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
I can't wait for this. I haven't heard you know something.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Happened there and what could go wrong? It just sounds
like so much fun to me. To let let's get
to it. Come on, here we go, Mark, let's all
strap in. Hello. Hi, is this Tina.
Speaker 7 (03:01):
It is Hello.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
It's Mike and it's Mike and Diane from ninety five
point one WayV Radio.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
There's Mike. We host a morning show.
Speaker 8 (03:10):
I know you do.
Speaker 7 (03:11):
Oh my gosh, I love you guys.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Oh, thank you so much. Appreciate that always makes our day.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Well, since you like us, this is a step in
the right direction because we're going to ask you a favor. Please,
we would like to know what happened on your first
date with Mark? Because Mark also listens to us that
you do have that in common, but he's not hearing
back from you after what we think sounds like a
first fun date.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
So, Tina, what happened?
Speaker 9 (03:36):
Oh no, well, I mean it was a really fun idea.
You know, we went to the water park and I
hadn't been since I was like a kid, so I
was kind of excited to do it. You guys are
gonna tick on so shallow. So he was wearing goggles
(03:58):
and water shoes, you guys that.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
I knew that was coming, but I knew something about
the water.
Speaker 9 (04:08):
It's nobody else was. I mean, I mean there were
a couple of little chips who were, but he was
the only grown person who was.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
He was channeling his inner child. I'm getting a visual
right now. And I wasn't on the date with him, obviously,
but I sounds cute.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
I mean, I feel like Crocs have taken water shoes, right,
Crocs are new water shoes.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Yeah, yeah, pretty much.
Speaker 5 (04:32):
The water shoes. That's a commitment. That's a pro.
Speaker 6 (04:35):
If I met a water park and I see a
guy with goggles and water shoes, get out.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
Of his way or follow him around because he knows
all the secrets.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
He's on a mission. He knows the good rides. Yeah,
good slides.
Speaker 9 (04:46):
Excuse I thought maybe he was like kidding, you know,
like maybe he was gonna like like.
Speaker 8 (04:50):
I was going to sing a song or something like.
I thought he was just going to do something totally
over the top.
Speaker 10 (04:55):
But that was just like that's what he does.
Speaker 7 (04:58):
That's how he goes to the water park.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
How the water park?
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Okay, well, I'd like to confirm that if you don't mind,
because we have to let you know that Mark has
been listening in Mark, you're not wearing your goggles right now?
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Are you wear water shoes?
Speaker 4 (05:11):
Not at the moment. I mean I wear them when
they're warranted. I came prepared and that made you feel
Insecuritina of God.
Speaker 9 (05:20):
Oh okay, well okay, uh yeah, I'm not picking back
my decision.
Speaker 7 (05:27):
After hearing that, Wow, I.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Don't think.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Around someone that knew what they were doing.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I bet a lot of people wish they would think
of goggles though, especially if you wear contact lenses.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
That was always an issue for me at water parks.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
Honestly, props to both of you.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
One Props the mark to have the guts to be like,
we go to a water park on our first date. Yes,
And props to Tina for saying, yes, I'm not even
kidding like that is gutsy to be like sure, bikini's
first date, Like I'm not I'm not even like making.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
A joke like, props to you guys, like it works, guys.
Speaker 9 (06:16):
I was nervous about that.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Yeah, yeah, and see he didn't. I'm sure he made
you feel comfortable. Is that correct?
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Are you getting that from him?
Speaker 7 (06:28):
That's not what I would say.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Yeah, yeah, I didn't say anything about how you look
or anything.
Speaker 8 (06:34):
I was happy to be there. He I don't.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I don't think it was a.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Waste, even if you clearly said like you did, I
had a great time.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
That was my point. That he didn't make you feel uncomfortable.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Was all about you were thinking that you would be
embarrassed with him, because I would be nervous to going
in a first date into bathing stupid. If the guy
made me feel comfortable, I say, oh, this is great.
Speaker 6 (06:53):
And you know what if he's wearing goggles and water shoes,
my man, don't care. He's there for he's on a mission.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
I'm gonna tell my husband to do that next.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Why not? All right, I need to get to the question, Mark, I.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Have one more question.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
Okay, Michael Phelps goggles or Snorkel goggles, big difference? Are
they the one sucked right to the eyes or are
we talking? The nose was covered too, and he talked
the whole time like that? Who cares.
Speaker 11 (07:26):
It?
Speaker 5 (07:27):
The image gets better?
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (07:29):
How did you stop it from fogging? Never mind?
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Mark? Would you want a second date with Tina? Now
that you've heard her reason that she hasn't been reaching out?
If she said yes, it would be on us and
we can do non water park this time. Although that
does sound like fun, go ahead.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
I mean I'd be open to it if she did.
I mean, fine, guy, I won't wear the goggle, Tina.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
It's all up to you.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
And since the date is on us, we'll make sure
you get those curly fries if he didn't get them
last time.
Speaker 6 (07:58):
On this date, we'll say, need to a Phillies game
next bad news. He dresses as the fanatic.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
That gets so high.
Speaker 9 (08:07):
But now I don't know. I do admire the hooks,
but sure, let's do it.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Yeah? Why?
Speaker 5 (08:13):
Thank you?
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Yes? Yes, pleasantly surprised.
Speaker 5 (08:17):
See people all it takes as a conversation.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
I can't wait until the second date. We have to
do a follow up guys.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
Okay, yeah, all right, absolutely.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
All right, good luck and have fun.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
All right, thanks guys.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one way, v Ali from meg Harbor City is looking
for a second date update with a guy named Nathan.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Good morning, Ali.
Speaker 8 (08:42):
Hi, how are you guys right?
Speaker 3 (08:44):
How are you doing?
Speaker 6 (08:46):
I'm okay, I've been better, I'll bet so.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Please tell us about your date and then we'll try
to help you out with that. So what happened with
Nathan on your first date?
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Yeah, we had a wonderful date. We had a lot
of chemistry, We laughed a lot, We kind of got into.
Speaker 10 (09:03):
Some you know, a few deep conversations. Nothing too crazy.
It's a first date, but like you know, we definitely
had some real connections and great moments.
Speaker 7 (09:12):
And I haven't said on the date, like are you
would you want to do this again? Are you interested
in a second date?
Speaker 10 (09:20):
And he was like, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 7 (09:22):
And I haven't heard from him since.
Speaker 8 (09:24):
He won't text me back, so I'm not really sure.
Speaker 7 (09:28):
What happened if I read the signs wrong or what.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
That's unusual that you actually discussed a second date. We
don't hear that very often here. Usually they kind of
blow it off.
Speaker 5 (09:39):
Sometimes we do. Yeah, they never get them. Sometimes we
hear them.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
Oh, I'm really curious. Now.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
So what we'll do, Ali is put you on hold.
We'll play a song and we'll try to get Nathan
on the phone and on the phone and get some answers.
Coming up next on ninety five point one WayV ninety
five point one WayV. It's Mike and a second date update.
A few minutes ago, Ali told us about our first
date with Nathan, said it was a great date, even
(10:06):
discussed a possible second date.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
And Ali, you haven't heard anything from him after that date. No,
how disappointing. Oh okay, let's get to it.
Speaker 5 (10:16):
Yep, let's do it.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Give him a call. Don't be nervous. You can say hello,
Oh hi is this Nathan?
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Hello, Hello, it's Mike and Diane from ninety five point
one Way V Radio.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
There's my co host, Mike.
Speaker 5 (10:40):
How you doing, Nathan?
Speaker 7 (10:42):
Good?
Speaker 11 (10:44):
What's this about.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
We do have a specific reason why we're calling.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
We're hoping you have a few minutes, because we got
a call from our radio family member Ali, and Ali was.
Speaker 11 (10:55):
Telling us, Okay, yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
The woman you went on a date with. Yeah, yeah,
she was telling us about that date.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
She had a great time on the date, was expecting
a second date. Hasn't heard anything from you, So, as
you can imagine, she's not only concerned but confused.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
So on her behalf, we're trying to get some answers.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
So Nathan, would you mind telling us why are you
not getting back to her?
Speaker 11 (11:20):
Uh it's.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Yes, yes, So.
Speaker 11 (11:31):
It's so dumb.
Speaker 5 (11:33):
Okay, So how dumb is it? So she was.
Speaker 11 (11:37):
Basically, we did have a great time. I should say
that we did have a very good time. We had
a Yeah, she's great.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
She was talking about how.
Speaker 11 (11:48):
She like her dad like can get them into like
this like country pulp, it's like the pool, and she
wants to like so these things. And I was like, okay, great,
it sounds great. But then I thought about it, and
I'm like, I'm not in this shape to kind of
take off my shirt in front of somebody that i'm
courting this early, and so oh yeah, it's really silly.
(12:15):
And now that I really say it out loud, But
to be honest, like I was just like, I don't know,
I just didn't really want to face it or tell
her that I was embarrassed, so I was kind of
just avoiding her, which you know, led to this.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
I guess I feel for you and Nathan because that
can be an awkward thing only in your mind. Nobody
else cares, no one, No one cares what you look like.
Speaker 5 (12:38):
Can I ask you?
Speaker 6 (12:39):
Can I ask a stupid question, Diane, The first time
you're dating somebody and they take off their shirt, you're
gonna look, and you're gonna see it, and you're gonna
have an opinion.
Speaker 5 (12:51):
If you don't care, you're a better person than most.
I'm just gonna say it.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Well, if they don't like it, then let them be
on the other side. Second date updates.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
Oh yeah, I'm not listen.
Speaker 6 (13:02):
I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but I'm gonna
I'm saying they will look.
Speaker 5 (13:06):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Oh yeah, though, of course the look.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
But you know, my motto is they've seen better, they've
seen worse, and that's how I live my life.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:14):
But but to be fair, Diane, me and you both
have gotten to an age where we just.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Don't care anymore exactly.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
And that's I'm assuming this is a younger.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
That's a nice age to get to.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Yeah, you know, it's great, it's great.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
Well, we have to tell you Nathan that Ali has
been listening in Ali. I kind of feel bad for Nathan. Yeah,
go ahead, Yeah.
Speaker 10 (13:37):
I'm sad you feel that way.
Speaker 7 (13:39):
That's like a little heartbreaking.
Speaker 10 (13:41):
I mean, you know, whether there's a future.
Speaker 7 (13:47):
I mean, I just I wish you could have told me,
because well, I would have changed are what we did.
Speaker 6 (13:54):
Maybe well can I know, I know I'm not supposed
to jump in yet, but listen, he's not there.
Speaker 5 (14:00):
In no world is he's telling you that. In no
world is he gonna.
Speaker 6 (14:03):
Be like I don't love the pool because I don't
want to take my shirt off in front of you.
Like that conversation is not going to happen.
Speaker 7 (14:13):
Maybe you could have been like, oh, I can't swim.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Which is worse, because then eventually you would find out
that he could swim. But you know, women feel this too,
that they have to wear the cover up.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
And they don't want to show anything, and so why
can't it be a man that feels self conscious. Not
they would have been better if he brought it up
to her, but I can relate.
Speaker 11 (14:37):
Yeah, it's just it just isn't something I wanted to
deal with this early.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Right, Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
You make her like you, then you show where you're
bod exactly.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Yeah, you suggest places that with really good air conditioning
at first, right, right, Well, I'm going to ask the
question Nathan.
Speaker 5 (14:56):
Well, now it's out there. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Yeah, I normally ask the person who called, but I'm
going to ask Nathan first this time.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Mix it up a little bit.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Nathan, would you want a second date? I don't know
what you would do on the second date. It would
be on us, and we're not members of the country club,
so we can't send you there.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (15:12):
I'm going one hundred percent going to say the second
date now has to be at the pool.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
It has to be.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Off the band aid.
Speaker 6 (15:19):
Yeah, the band aid's got to be ripped. Or you
go on a date and the before the date starts,
you take off your shirt. You know what, both of
you take off your shirts? Oh okay, now too far?
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Did I go too far?
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Which beat are we paying for?
Speaker 7 (15:33):
You?
Speaker 5 (15:33):
Come on, listen, I'm just all right, No, it's got
to be the pool. It has to be the pool.
Just rip the band aid.
Speaker 6 (15:40):
You had the conversation awkwardly and weirdly here, but you
had the conversation.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
She knows you know. Everything's cool now, and I'll.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Bet you you'll have a great time at the pool.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
Yes, go to the pool.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
We'll send you to one of the casino pools. We'll
figure it out. Get some cocktails, get some snacks. It'll
be nice. Not all of them, all right, So, Nathan,
what do you say, would you want a second date?
Speaker 7 (16:02):
If?
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Ali said?
Speaker 11 (16:03):
Yes, yeah, but only if I wear a bikini chop bikini.
Speaker 6 (16:10):
They always do this, They always try and make one
more jokes.
Speaker 5 (16:13):
It just doesn't work.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
Maybe Alie likes that joke.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Ali, what do you say, would you want a second
date with Nathan?
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (16:21):
Definitely go ahead.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Yes, Mike, you know I love it romances.
Speaker 5 (16:28):
Come on, Maybe she likes big teddy bears.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
I don't know, I know I do. Well, listen, have
a great time on your date. Just go for don't
worry about anything. We are our own worst critic.
Speaker 11 (16:40):
Yes, yeah, you're right, Thanks guys.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point one.
W A YV Amy from EHT is looking for a
second date update with a guy named Joe Amy. How
are you today?
Speaker 7 (16:55):
Hey and good?
Speaker 10 (16:55):
How are you doing well?
Speaker 3 (16:57):
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Just curious your date and Joe, so please tell us everything.
Speaker 10 (17:03):
Well, we went on the first date, and honestly, it
was fantastic. I thought we had great chemistry. We were,
you know, hanging out outside, just took a nice walk together.
It was really I don't know, it was just so
nice compared to some of the first dates I've been on. Yeah,
and you know, so I thought everything was great. And
now it's been literally three months since we went out,
(17:26):
and we've been texting. I mean, we've been talking all
the time on text back and forth, but every time
I try to get him to actually meet up and
go out again, he's got some kind of excuse for
why he can't.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
So it's not like contact is completely gone. It's just
that you're trying to get together and it just isn't happening.
Speaker 6 (17:47):
Yeah, we're we're in a weird spot here because we're
used to no contact.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
Yeah exactly.
Speaker 5 (17:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
I hope he doesn't have a second family. He's trying
to juggle. I've been watching too much Lifetime.
Speaker 5 (17:59):
I've had that.
Speaker 6 (18:00):
I had that conversation with somebody the other day, Like,
that's impossible.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
It would be a challenge, like that is impossible to do. Yes,
I think with technology it would be, but you never know.
Maybe some people try it, but we'll find out if
that's the case. What we'll do, Amy, is put you
on hold, play a song. We'll try to get Joe
and hopefully not his second family on the phone.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Coming up next on ninety five point one WayV. Ninety
five point one WayV is Mike and Diane's second date update.
A few minutes ago, Amy told us she went on
a first date with Joe. Everything went well, you've been
in contact with Joe, but he doesn't seem to want
to get together and you don't know why.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Is that correct, Amy.
Speaker 10 (18:46):
Yep, that's exactly it.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
This is weird. This is weird. There's contact, but no,
let's all right, here we go.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Yeah, let's let's get to it. See what's going on
with Joe. Hello? Hi, is this Joe?
Speaker 8 (19:05):
Yes, it's Joe speaking Joe.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
It's Mike and Diane from ninety five point one WayV Radio.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
We host a morning show here's my co host, Mike.
How are you.
Speaker 8 (19:18):
I'm none good. I wasn't expecting this call.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
We do hear that a lot, but we're hoping you
have a couple of minutes because we got a call
from one of our radio family members, Amy, and Amy
was telling us she went on a date with you
and she has been chatting back and forth with you,
but hasn't been able to make a second date and
doesn't quite understand. We don't quite understand it either, because
it sounded like a good date from what she said,
(19:44):
so on her behalf, we're just trying to get some answer.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
So would you mind telling us Joe?
Speaker 8 (19:50):
Oh yeah, no, I sorry, I just kind of caught
me off.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Guard here, sure understand?
Speaker 8 (20:01):
Yeah, no, Amy, I actually i'd like to see I'd
love to see Amy again. Yeah. Yeah, it was a
good date and I thought she was great. And yeah,
it's just the timing hasn't I guess worked out?
Speaker 3 (20:16):
Yeah, I am Why if not? Mine does as D?
Why has the timing not worked out? What's what's going on?
Speaker 8 (20:27):
I well, I don't really Okay, here's the deal.
Speaker 6 (20:31):
I saying it Just stop being around the bush when
I leave until you do exactly.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
We will hang on this line forever.
Speaker 8 (20:39):
It's just it's kind of it's kind of embarrassing, but
I guess here goes uh. I I recently got hair transplants,
so I'm just kind of I'm waiting for those to
kind of lock in, you know, heal before I go
on any more dates with with Amy. So yeah, that's
(21:01):
that's kind of the reason we haven't. I'd just been
trying to stall the second date.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Oh so you didn't want to tell her you have
the little dots up there.
Speaker 7 (21:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (21:14):
Yeah, it's pretty obvious. It's it's it's bad right now.
I was lucky our first date. We were just like
outside of the park all day, so I just wore
a ball cap, you know, and it yeah, it totally
covered it up. And I never I never took my
hat off. But she was talking about like getting dinner
or something and a maybe semi nice place, and obviously
(21:36):
I can't really wear a hat in a place like that.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
So that's understandable.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
I hear that's painful too here, but people have been
getting really good results from it from what I've seen lately.
Speaker 11 (21:47):
Did you.
Speaker 5 (21:49):
That's where everybody goes. It's it's not even a joke.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Hair transplants and veneers. I think Turkey seems to be
in place.
Speaker 5 (21:57):
I didn't know about veneers, but I knew about the
air transport on Balding.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
I'm still have not beautiful head of hair.
Speaker 5 (22:02):
It's lighting, it's light lighter.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
But I get it.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
And the thing is that Amy just didn't understand because
you both said you had a.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
Great date and we have to let you know.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
He now knows the reason why you've been putting this
off because Amy's been listening in.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
Amy, say hi to Joe. Please, Hey Joe, Hey, Joe.
Speaker 8 (22:23):
Hey Amy. I hope this doesn't change your view of
me at all.
Speaker 10 (22:32):
No, honestly, not at all. I totally get it, and
I wish you'd told me. I mean, look, I dye
my hair, I get my eyebrows done, and nothing like crazy.
But I think you know, if there's something that makes
you not as confident about yourself and you have the
ability to change it, why.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Not touche, I you agree, puche. Wow.
Speaker 8 (22:54):
Wow, Yeah, that's that's a relief. I was really worried
you'd you just not be be a fan of it.
Oh yeah, I'm sorry. I've sort of been been dropping
the ball on this second date, but I'd love to
see you again.
Speaker 6 (23:08):
Well, here's the thing, as we we know that somewhere
in between the first date and now he got the
hair transplants. So figure out a date where he doesn't
have to wear a hat because he can't wear a
hat right now because that was an expensive thing unless
it was a turkey, which is still expensive it is.
(23:30):
So figure out a date where you can look at
those old dots on his hat growing in the little baby hairs.
Speaker 10 (23:37):
That sounds great to me.
Speaker 5 (23:39):
I was like, oh my god.
Speaker 6 (23:39):
Nobody responded to that.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
That sounds great, And now it's out in the open,
and then you can just you can both be relieved
that it wasn't anything to do with the date.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
You like each other, so that's the good news. And
now maybe Joe will feel like he can open up
a little bit more to Amy again.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Only first date, you kind of don't know what you
want to tell somebody, and maybe in that quick of
time or if you're going to be judged, and she's
not judging them. So that's awesome that we know of now,
it sounded like Joe would say yes to a second date, right,
Joe absolutely I'd much to say.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
I guess we should have figured that part out.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
Okay, it would be on us.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Now it really comes down to you, Amy, would you
want a second date with Joe, knowing now why he
hasn't made definite plans.
Speaker 10 (24:26):
Yes, I definitely would like to go out again.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
Yahr.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
I get excited when we get that.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
Second date, that wedding. By this point we should have
had one or not being.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
Told or some second date update. Children. Come on, all right,
let's no pressure first, No pressure, guys, but we want
to issue the best.
Speaker 7 (24:45):
Of look, thank you so much.
Speaker 8 (24:49):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
Mike and Diane's second date update. On ninety five point
one w A y V. Joey from Brigantine is looking
for a second date update with a woman named Terry.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
Joey. How are you?
Speaker 2 (25:01):
I'm so good? How are y'all?
Speaker 3 (25:03):
I'm doing well, living the dream. Just curious about your date,
So please tell us about Terry and your first date.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
I felt like it went so well, like we were vibing,
conversation was flowing, She's beautiful, and yeah, like we had
a blast. And honestly, I have no idea like why,
Like I'm I'm at a loss honestly like it was.
(25:33):
It was a really good date, one of the best
dates I've been on in a long time.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Wow, that's a bold statement.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
Well here from being honest. First of all, that sounded
like it was a great date. Second of all, I
hope you didn't hear me just say ow and bang
my arm.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
I heard it you over there.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Yeah I did not.
Speaker 6 (25:52):
Because at a reaction I hit my arm like really hard.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Ow.
Speaker 5 (25:58):
Oh, I just I realized I said it right instid
of microphone.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
He just gets so into these dates. He loses himself.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
I know me too, I get into the dates too.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
But it sounded like a good date as long as
the conversation is flowing, because you know, there have been
some awkward first dates, so it's just frustrating to not know.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
So that's where we come in to try to help
you out. So I say, we get right to it, Joey.
We'll put you on hold, play a song. We'll try
to get Terry on the phone and get some answers,
and that is coming up next.
Speaker 7 (26:28):
You.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Oh you're well, Thank.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
You so much. I appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
You got it coming up next on ninety five point
one wa YV ninety five point one WayV.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
It's Mike and Diane's second date update.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
A few minutes ago, Joey told us about his first
date with Terry, said the date went well, one of
the best dates he's had it in a long time.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
But Joey, you haven't heard anything back from Terry.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
No, it's been crickets.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Oh the worst. If only we had those cricket sound effects.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
Still yeah, and they're gone.
Speaker 3 (26:59):
Yeah, they they left, They ghosted us. That's how bad
our lives are. Forget about yours, Joey. All right, Well,
hopefully we won't get crickets when we try this. So
let's go. Let's give Terry a call and at least
see if we can get her side of the story.
Here we go. Hello, Hi, this Terry.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Yes, Hello, Hi, It's Mike and Diane from ninety five
point one WayV Radio. We host a morning show. Please
say hi to my co host Mike. Please don't hang up.
Speaker 7 (27:40):
How you doing, Terry, I'm good? How are you guys good?
Speaker 1 (27:44):
We're just curious if you have a few minutes because
we got a call on our show from one of
our radio family members, Joey.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
And I'm assuming that sounds familiar.
Speaker 7 (27:57):
Yes, Hi.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
So Joey was telling us that he went on a
date with you. He was highly complimentary. As a matter
of fact, I'll tell you he said, it's one of
the best days he's had in a long time. Can't
get much better of a compliment than that. So we
just wanted on his behalf to get some answers.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
What happened? Why are you not getting back to him?
How was the date from your perspective?
Speaker 7 (28:21):
Gosh, I'd say the date was I'd say the date
was fine. You know. It was kind of one of
those dates where I would have probably given him, you know,
a second chance. But I wouldn't say the date was
like amazing. It was.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
It was good, it was acceptable. Sounds like, yeah, huh,
all right, well talk to me. So you would have
given him a second chance, but I I since that
there's something coming. Why not.
Speaker 7 (28:49):
Yeah. So when we were leaving the restaurant and we
went to our cars, I you know, saw where he went.
And it was funny because right before I walked into
the restaurant, I was actually almost late because the parking
lot was so full, and this one person parked their huge,
(29:09):
like you know, big truck in like two spots and
I was like, what a jerk this person is, And
so I was on slate because there were no spots,
so I just, you know, I didn't think i'd think
about it again, but I noticed the car and then
we walked out that that was his car. So he
(29:30):
walked over to the car and yeah, it just like
it was this huge like diesel truck with like black
smoke coming out of it. I had one of those
like lame It was one of those like lame stickers
on the back of the car where they're like cartoons
like peeing or whatever. I don't know if you ever
seen that.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
Yeah, is it one of those trucks where I would
need a step ladder to get into.
Speaker 7 (29:54):
It was huge, I mean huge, and I just like,
there's no way I'd ever get in a truck like that.
But I also just like I remember, you know, I
mean like I was late because like I just thought,
this person's so inconsiderate, and that ended up being his car.
So it was just a just a no for me.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
Of all the cars we no, I'll tell you that
the driver of that excuse me truck has been yeah,
has been Joey. Yes, yes truck, Yes, thank you. Joey,
why you double parking?
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Listen. I'm sorry that you're like judging me on my vehicle,
but like sometimes when you have a big vehicle, you
have to take up more than one spot. And and
also like I love that vehicle, and I think it's
weird that that's the reason why she doesn't want to
(30:50):
go back out with me, like because of my truck
because I have like a Calvin and hobbsticker on the back.
Speaker 7 (30:58):
Sorry, I mean, it's just that, like I just said,
it's also like you're like it just shows like you're
an inconsiderate person, like you only were thinking about yourself,
Like no one cares that you have a truck, like
people care and the light to park.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
I understand where you're coming from, but I disagree. I
think that like when you have a big vehicle like that,
sometimes you take up more than one spot because I
don't want people like scratching my stuff, you know, I
don't want like like it is a challenge is for
you vehicle.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
Yeah, it's a challenge when you do have a big vehicle.
I don't know, I don't know. I don't I'm the
type that I have to be right in between the lines.
But it is.
Speaker 6 (31:39):
Do you know how many times I've been yelled at
because like the line is like three inches from the tire.
I'm like, I'm in the lines and my wife's like,
give more space.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Oh I always, Oh, I'm with your wife. I tell
my husband back it up again, repark it. He gets
so frustrated.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
But yeah, that's not sounds like one of the biggest trucks.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
I go to the to the end of the parking
lot to park my stuff just so I don't get
messed with. If I don't get scratches, I may take
up more than one spot, but I try not to
be in the mix with all the other cars, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Yeah, it sounds like it busy though, And Terry couldn't
even get a parking spot at first, so that that
was a problem as well. Yeah, well, I there's not
much more we can say besides the question I'm gonna
ask Joey.
Speaker 5 (32:27):
Well, because I mean, I'm not listen, all right, Yeah,
go ahead, ask the question.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
Joey, you trading that truck in anytime soon? Now, Joey,
that wasn't the question. Forget Joey, would you want a
second date? It would be on us. Maybe we could
pick somewhere that has.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
A huge we'll do some research, huge parking lot.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
No, I would definitely go on a date with her again.
And you know what, I'll take an uber or a list.
I won't even bring my truck.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
Oh well, that's an offer. I didn't see that one coming. Okay, Terry,
what do you think.
Speaker 5 (32:59):
Would you It sounds desperate?
Speaker 3 (33:01):
Would you want to go on a second date.
Speaker 7 (33:03):
I mean, I think it's a really nice offer, but
I just I don't want to waste your time. You know,
It's just it's just not for me.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Oh well, all right, Joey. Well we will look for
you in your truck out there. I'm sure we can't
miss you.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
Well all right, I mean maybe i'll take off the sticker.
I don't know what are we doing.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
You might want to because then you might end up
on second date updates again.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
I guess, so I guess that's it. Yeah, and like
find a specific parking spot and you know, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Well, best of luck to both of you.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Thank you,
