That's right. You said he chose the trombone in school.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Yep. How lucky am I?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Has he been practicing?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Oh yeah, here's an update.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
All day? This is what I hear. That's what I
hear all day. I mean, it's all day.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I like it. It's better than screen time.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I don't know anymore. I might I might want a
screen kid.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Now.

Speaker 5 (00:54):
I think it's wonderful. Hey, everyone has to start out somewhere.
This could be the next trombone genius.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Let's listen and again.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Sure, yes, iPad, it sound pretty good right now in
my house.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
No, no, no, keep practicing landing headphones.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Practice makes perfect. Was that a particular song that I
should recognize?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Or no?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Okay that was noise?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Okay, gotcha.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
There was one song worked in there.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
You wouldn't know, but if you follow F one, you know,
you know the max for stapping song, and that's what
he was trying to play.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I think it's Grady's practicing. Good for you, Land and
keep it going.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
No, it's Mike and Diane on ninety five point one
w a YV with Halloween countdown a little over three weeks.
I knows it blows my mind, but we say it
every year.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I know it creeps up. No pun intent.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
We just pick a holiday and it's like, oh man,
this blank holidays keeping up on.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
Us, you know, so we need to know. Have the
kids decided on a costume yet this year?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
God? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Did they change their mind?

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Mollion times yet? God yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
OK, McKinley's pretty dead set. Can you guess K Pop
Demon Hunters? Yeah, we've already done a test on the hair.
I didn't do it, my wife did, and hair looks great.
She's gonna She's gonna room me. I think that's her name,
the main character, K Pop Demon Hunters. I watched it enough.
I still don't know their names because I don't watch.
I just sit there. I'm a pillow in that situation.

(02:33):
My son wanted to be something from Fortnite. I don't
know what, but he wanted to be. Then I showed
him a Lando Norris race suit in his size Lando
Norris is an F one driver. He loves Lando because
his name is land in Oh perfect. So here's where
this is backfiring. The race suit is one thing. What

(02:54):
do all race car drivers wear on their head?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
They wear a helmet.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Luckily and Lando has.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
He's a very unique style helmet, like a design on
his helmet. It is neon yellow with black almost like
cheetah print on it. He wants a helmet that looks
like his for the costume, and he won't accept the hat.
He won't accept the hat. Okay, every helmet he's shown

(03:22):
me is dot certified. They're two hundred and fifty dollars.
You're not getting a motorcycle helmet.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Now for one Halloween. No, no, no, we have a
budget here.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
If you if you took me up on the offer
two years ago to say do you want to race cars,
I would have said yes because then we would have
just had a new helmet.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
But right now we're not doing it.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Oh you had to show him that, You had to.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Show Oh, he wanted it, so now I have to
go pick it up. It's on Facebook marketplace and oh
my god, this it's become too much.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Well, it doesn't sound like he's going to change his mind. No, No,
this one's pretty set. That one's set in stones. Got
to work on the helmet the K Pop Demon Hunters.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Maybe I'll make them a trophy, get them, give them
one of the cup trophies I have at home from baseball. Yeah,
and then say, hey, wear this hat like you're on
the podium.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
There you go, Okay, done, I.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Mean done with us. That's credita for us. It's not
what he wants.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
So like, I think you can talk them into it.
You want and you're on the podium.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
Yeah, yeah, but you know they still have time to
change their minds.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
A little over three weeks.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
No, you don't. That happens because money's been spent. This
is what you're being dude, This is it.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
Well, Spirit Halloween has come out with this year's most
popular costumes. We're going to find out if your costumes, Mike,
if your kid's costumes, or our radio family members costumes
are on the list. That's coming up next on ninety
five point one WayV. Ninety five point one WayV. It's
the Mike and Diane Show. Gearing up for Halloween. A

(04:55):
little over three weeks and Spirit Halloween put out their
list this year's mo popular costumes. Mike, a few minutes ago,
you told us that your daughter McKinley is going to
be one of the K Pop Demon Hunters, the main character. Yeah,
guess what, that's number one on their list. That's the
number one costume this year. We're going to be seeing
a lot of the K Pop Demon Hunters.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Hell, I'm still Golden song is in my head constantly,
not in my favorite one.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
So that is number one. Number two Glinda and Alpha
but Inspire costumes from Wicked, because you know the sequels.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Coming out, that's going to be all the women over thirty. Yeah,
that's all women.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Well you could have little little ones too, Little Glinda
and Alphabeta.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
And their mom is dressed with them.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Yeah, I think that is cute.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
Superhero is always a popular choice for Halloween. This year
is all about Marvel's Fantastic Four. They also have a
bunch of new Spider Man costumes. Next up is pink Oween. Oh,
if your daughter wasn't so set on her costume, she
would love this. Costumes don't have to be scary. Sometimes
times they can be cute. So it's a pink Awen collection.

(06:04):
A Spirit Halloween with sparkle SaaS and glittery vibes, so
you can even be a ghost face goes glam in
the pink a ween. Last player standing. I didn't watch
squid Game, but obviously it's Netflix's biggest show.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
We've all heard that.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
And you can show your love for squid Game with
player track suits, frontman masks and then certain dresses that
I don't watch game, so I don't know, but anyway,
squid Game is going to be big.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Also, yeah, that one, that one kind of flew the
what's the word flew?

Speaker 3 (06:34):
The jump the shark.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yeah, I guess not.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
The people are still watching it. It's a list online, okay.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
I in the it's in the Spirit Halloween Store, Scary
stuff art, the clown Wednesday Atoms, stack and smoke from
Sinners and finally fits for the whole family.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
So got Star Wars characters that the family can dress
up in dr Park I don't even know besides the
dinosaurs they're the main stars.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
What they do is they'll put the kids, the little
kids in a dinosaur costumes that are run around and
the parents will everywhere like khakis, oh nice, and I like, yeah,
look at me.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
I'll dressed up too.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
I like that. Yeah, and the comeback energy of Happy
Gilmour two. They have family costumes for that, so that's
for all age groups. So there you go.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
There is your list of the most popular costumes so far,
because again kids changed their minds, minds all the time
from Spirit Halloween. But let us know, have you gotten
the costumes yet? Are you planning anything?

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Did you get any inspiration from this list? Talk back
on the free iHeartRadio app just tap that red microphone.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one WayV Joey from Brigantine is looking for a second
date update with a woman named Terry.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Joey, how are you.

Speaker 7 (07:51):
I'm so good.

Speaker 8 (07:51):
How are y'all?

Speaker 2 (07:52):
I'm doing well, living the dream.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
Just curious about your date, so please tell us about
Terry and your first date.

Speaker 7 (08:00):
I felt like it went so well, Like we were vibing,
conversation was flowing, She's beautiful, and yeah, like we had
a blast. And honestly, I have no idea like why,
Like I'm I'm at a loss. Honestly, like it was.

(08:23):
It was a really good date. One of the best
dates I've been on in a long time.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Wow, that's a bold statement.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Well here from being honest. First of all, that sounded
like it was a great date. Second of all, I
hope you didn't hear me just say ow and bang
my arm.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
I heard it you over there?

Speaker 8 (08:39):
Yeah I did not.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Because at a reaction, I hit my arm like really hard.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Ow.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
He just I realized I said it right into the microphone.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
He just gets so into these dates he loses himself.

Speaker 8 (08:54):
I know me too.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
I get into the dates too.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
But it sounded like a good date as long as
the conversation is flowing. Because you know, there have been
some awkward first dates, so it's just frustrating to not know.
So that's where we come in to try to help
you out. So I say, we get right to it, Joey.
We'll put you on hold, play a song. We'll try
to get Terry on on the phone and get some answers.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
And that is coming up next.

Speaker 7 (09:18):
Oh you're well, thank you so much. I appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
You got it coming up next on ninety five point
one wa YV ninety five point one WayV. It's Mike
and Diane's second date update. A few minutes ago, Joey
told us about his first date with Terry said the
date went well, one of the best dates he's had
it in a long time.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
But Joey, you haven't heard anything back from Terry.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
No, it's been crickets.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Oh the worst. If only we had those cricket sound effects.

Speaker 9 (09:47):
Still.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Yeah, and they're gone.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
I don't know. Yeah, they they they left, They ghosted us.
That's how bad our lives are. Forget about yours, Joey.
All right, Well, hope we won't get crickets when we
try this. So let's go.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Let's give Terry a call and at least see if
we can get her side of the story.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Here we go. Hello, Hi, is this Terry?

Speaker 5 (10:18):
Yes, Hi, it's Mike and Diane from ninety five point
one WayV Radio.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
We host a morning show. Please say hi to my
co host Mike. Please don't hang up. How you doing, Terry?

Speaker 9 (10:32):
I'm good?

Speaker 10 (10:32):
How are you guys good?

Speaker 5 (10:33):
We're just curious if you have a few minutes because
we got a call on our show from one of
our radio family.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Members, Joey. And I'm assuming that sounds familiar. Yes, Hi,
So Joey was telling us that he went on a
date with you. He was highly complimentary as a matter
of fact, I'll tell you he.

Speaker 5 (10:52):
Said, it's one of the best days he's had in
a long time. Can't get much better of a compliment
than that. So we just wanted on his behalf to
get some answers.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
What happened? Why are you not getting back to him?
How was the date from your perspective?

Speaker 9 (11:10):
Gosh, I'd say the date was I'd say the date
was fine. You know, it was kind of one of
those dates where I would have probably given him, you know,
a second chance. But I wouldn't say the date was
like amazing.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
It was. It was good, it was acceptable. Sounds like, yeah, huh,
all right, well talk to me. So you would have
given him a second chance, but I sense that there's
something coming. Why not.

Speaker 9 (11:38):
Yeah, So when we were leaving the restaurant and we
went to our cars, I you know, saw where he went.
And it was funny because right before I walked into
the restaurant, I was actually almost late because the park
came out was so full, and this one person parked
there huge, like you know, big truck, in like two spots,

(12:03):
and I was like, what a jerk this person is?
And so I was on slate because there were no spot.
So I just, you know, I didn't think i'd think
about it again, but I noticed the car and then
we walked out that that was his car. So he
walked over to the car and yeah, it just like

(12:23):
it was this huge like Diesel truck with like black
smoke coming out of it. I had one of those
like lame It was one of those like lame stickers
on the back of the car where they're like cartoons,
like teeing or whatever. I don't know if you ever
seen that.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Yeah, is it one of those trucks where I would
need a step ladder to get into.

Speaker 9 (12:43):
It was huge, I mean huge, and I just like,
there's no way I'd ever get in a truck like that.
But I also just like I remembered, you know, I
mean like I was late because like I just thought,
this person's so inconsiderate and that ended up being his car.
So it was just a just to know for me.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Of all the cars, we'll tell you that the driver
of that excuse me truck has been yeah, has been Joey. Yes,
yes truck. Yes, thank you, Joey. Why you double parking?

Speaker 7 (13:18):
Listen, I'm sorry that you're like judging me on my vehicle,
but like sometimes when you have a big vehicle, you
have to take up more than one spot. And also,
like I love that vehicle, and I think it's weird
that that's the reason why she doesn't want to go

(13:40):
back out with me, like because of my truck because
I have like a Calvin and hobbsticker on the back.

Speaker 9 (13:47):
Sorry, I mean it's not just that, like I just said,
it's also like you're like it just shows like you're
an inconsiderate person, like you only were thinking about yourself,
Like no one cares that you have a truck, like
people care to park.

Speaker 7 (14:01):
I understand where you're coming from, but I disagree. I
think that like when you have a big vehicle like that,
sometimes you take up more than one spot because I
don't want people like scratching my stuff, you know, I
don't want like.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Like it is a challenge is for you do when
a vehicle, Yeah, it's a challenge when you do have
a big vehicle. I don't know. I don't know. I
don't I'm the type that I have to be right
in between the lines, but it is.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Do you know how many times I've been yelled at
because like the line is like three inches from the tire.
I'm like, I'm in the lines and my wife's like,
give more space.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
Oh I always Oh, I'm with your wife. I tell
my husband back it up again, repark it. He gets
so frustrated.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
But yeah, that's not sounds like one of the biggest drops.

Speaker 7 (14:47):
I go to the to the end of the parking
lot to park my stuff just so I don't get
messed with. If I don't get scratches, I may take
up more than one spot, but I'm I try not
to like be in the mix with all the other cars,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
Yeah, it sounds like busy though, And Terry couldn't even
get a parking spot at first, so that that was
a problem as well. Yeah, well, I there's not much
more we can say besides the question I'm going to
ask Joey.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Because I mean, I'm not listen, all right, Yeah, go ahead,
ask the question.

Speaker 5 (15:21):
Joey, you're trading that truck in anytime soon, now, Joey,
that wasn't the question. Joey, would you want a second date?
It would be on us. Maybe we could pick somewhere that.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Has a huge We'll do some research, huge parking.

Speaker 7 (15:37):
Lot you know, I would definitely go on a date
with her again. And you know what, I'll take an
uber or a lift. I won't even bring my truck.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Oh well, that's an offer. I didn't see that one coming. Okay, Terry,
what do you think, would you?

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Terry? It sounds desperate?

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Would you want to go on a second date?

Speaker 9 (15:52):
I mean, I think it's a really nice offer, but
I just I don't want to waste your time. You know,
It's just it's just not for me.

Speaker 5 (16:01):
All right, Well, all right, Joey, Well we will look
for you in your truck out there.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
I'm sure we can't miss you.

Speaker 7 (16:10):
Wow, all right, I mean maybe i'll take off the sticker.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
I don't know what are we doing.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
You might want to because then you might end up
on second date update again.

Speaker 7 (16:22):
Yeah, I guess so, I guess that's it. Yeah, and
like find it like a specific parking spot, and you know,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Well, best of luck to both of you.

Speaker 8 (16:34):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
It is ninety five point one w A y V.
It's the Mic and Diane cho and I am the
King of being cringe. Is what I was told by
a group of nine year olds. Okay, because I told
them they all had RIZ, and I was trying to
speak their language. They're like, dude always says riz anymore,
they say aur rah oh.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
And then because you know what it is.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
So I'll be honest with you here, I coach a
TENU baseball team. They're all nine ten year olds and
when they stretch, they do one, two, three, and they
keep going four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. And
very few of you got that reference, but some of
you did. If you have a kid of the age,
you know the number six seven is now the most

(17:21):
important number in the history of numbers.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Okay, then why is that.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
No one knows?

Speaker 1 (17:26):
It was from one song and one guy that went
viral on social media did the hands thing six seven,
and now it's a thing.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
How does it go?

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Seven seven, six seven, I, as an immature thirty eight
year old, stand on the sideline, look at my assistant coaches.
I'm like, sixty seven was never the cool number growing up.
That one was too higher.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Let's go back to that.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Yeah, I still laugh when I hear the number. You know,
what's not sixty seven? You know it's number one talking
about I still laugh at that one. But at least
this one has a little better meaning than like when
a nine year old says it and laughs, Yeah, this
one means nothing.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
The other one meant something.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Meant something. That's yeah, that's for sure.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
So that's uh, that's my life now is I tell
all the kids that they got Aura, and then they
tell me that I am the most awkward human that's
ever walked earth.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
There is an Aura painter on the latest season of
Big Brother.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
This is this is bad. We're doing bad things here.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Yeah, I got I listen, what is what's next? What
can I say next? Hit the talkback? You parents are
gonna be honest with you. Even even I know I've
seen the numbers. There's a ton of mid twenties women
that listen to this show. You know them, and they're cringe.
And I said cringe because I know cringe. Now I
learned that one.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Uh hit the talkback. Give me all the things.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Let me say all the things, and I will record
me saying them casually in conversation with my ten year
old baseball.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Team and get their reactions. All the cringe, all the cringe.
The worst things you can six seven is the best one.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Right now, that one makes them there, I might start
saying it enough that they stop. That's my goal, I think.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Okay, well I've learned something new today.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Is unlearning. I'm not around the kids unlearn it.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one way V.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Aaron from EHT is looking for a second date update
with a woman named Christine Aaron.

Speaker 11 (19:38):
How's it going, Hey, guys, I'm like, hell, are you guys?

Speaker 2 (19:42):
It's good, dud, Okay, I just curious about your date,
so please tell us about Christine and your first date?

Speaker 11 (19:48):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So you know, we went out to dinner,
nothing crazy, nice Mexican restaurant Sevin.

Speaker 9 (19:55):
You know, it was just a nice date.

Speaker 11 (19:57):
Honestly, we talked. I thought I was being a little
clever and funny because she laughed a couple of times.
It's a couple of things I said. So to me,
it seemed like it was fine. But I haven't heard
from her, so I'm wondering what's going on.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
First of all, any kind of Mexican dinner, I know
Mike and I would be happy with that date. We
would love it. And then the fact that he had
some laughs and it seemed like a good first date.
But hey, we've heard it all, Aaron. So we're ready
for more, that's for sure. So what we'll do is.

Speaker 5 (20:29):
Since you're not hearing back from her, we will put
you on hold, play a song and try to get
Christine on the phone and get some answers for you.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
And that is coming up next.

Speaker 5 (20:37):
Ninety five point one wa YV ninety five point one WayV.
It's Mike and Diane's second date update. A few minutes ago,
Aaron told us about his first date with Christine. Had
a nice dinner, had some laughs, but he hasn't heard
anything back from Christine. So we're trying to give him
some help here. So let's get right to it, Aaron.
We're going to give her a call right now.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Don't be nervous.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
I'll try not to do.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Okay, Hello, Hi, is this Christine?

Speaker 12 (21:12):
Yeah, it is good.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
This is a morning radio show calling.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
It's Mike and Diane on ninety five point one WayV.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
There's my co host Mike over there. How you doing, Christine?

Speaker 12 (21:26):
I'm doing okay. How are you guys?

Speaker 2 (21:27):
We're doing well. Just wondering if you have a few
minutes because we got a call from one of our
listeners Aaron and Aaron was telling us. He went on
a date with you, and he enjoyed the date, I
can tell you that much. And he just doesn't understand
why he's not hearing back from you.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
So we're just trying to get some answers on his
behalf because, as you can imagine, that would be frustrating
just not knowing why someone's not getting back to you.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
So how is if you have a couple of minutes,
how is the date for you?

Speaker 11 (21:59):
Right?

Speaker 13 (22:00):
So you said his name is Aaron, right, yes, Aaron?

Speaker 12 (22:04):
Yeah, because that's the thing. I kind of honestly I
have some questions too that maybe you can help me answer,
because I so we did we want went on a date,
and when I got there, I recognized him. I'm I'm

(22:30):
positive actually that I know this guy. We've been on
a date before, like a while back, like maybe three
years before or something like that, but he had a
different name, And yeah, I was honestly really confused because
like at first, I was like, I don't really know,

(22:52):
like maybe this is you know, maybe he just like
kind of looks familiar, But like the longer we spend
time together, I was like, no, this is definitely the
same person. And like I asked him about it, and
he was just like, no, never, we haven't met before.
We've definitely ever been on a date. So yeah, Anyway,

(23:15):
when I got home, I like went through some old
photos because I just I knew that I knew that
I'd been on a date with this guy before, and
I did. I found photos for him on the date
and he had literally the same He has his like
frog tattoo on his arm and you could see it
in the photo. So I don't know, I just kind

(23:37):
of got I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
This is fine, all right, hold on, hold on, because
I was playing in my head the entire time.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
I'm like, well, it's just people look alike.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Yes, like they act like they look like, oh my god,
I get the same vibe. And then once you convince
yourself of one thing, you're going to convince yourself of
all the things.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Right, throws me off.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
That exactly same exact tattoo. Yeah, we have to let
you know that. Aaron, if that is your name, has
been listening in. Aaron, what's the situation is? She claims
she went on a date with you, and be you're
a different name, same tattoo. This is I feel like
I'm watching the ID network.

Speaker 11 (24:16):
No, I mean that wasn't me. I don't know what
you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Oh it was.

Speaker 14 (24:20):
Him, No, it was We've never been on a date before.

Speaker 11 (24:24):
I've tried to convince you on the date. I don't
understand what. Maybe there's somebody who looks like me, but
it wasn't me.

Speaker 7 (24:32):
This was our first date.

Speaker 12 (24:35):
I don't know do that. I mean, you got the
same tattoo. I don't know else to say. I mean,
and also I know, like I don't know, I'm not stupid,
Like I know, I recognize you. I don't know what
like you're.

Speaker 11 (24:50):
I mean, I've never recognized you. I would, I'm an
honest guy. I would. I would know if i'm you.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Know, who's taking.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, No once, I'm confused, Diane, help
help me because I feel like I'm about to get
jumped through the phone.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
I'm at a loss because if he did want to
continue this relationship, obviously he's calling us, and he wanted
a second date. It seemed like it's gonna come out eventually.
So I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
I don't know. Here's the thing, like I'm all for
like people look alike.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
People act like you're confused, and once your brain convinces
you of something, you're gonna continue to be You're You're
going to continue to see signs that probably aren't there,
but you're making You're making them a sign.

Speaker 15 (25:36):
Right.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
The tattoo throws me off, And now I'm trying to
read his tone and he's like, oh, we've never read
on a date. I don't know what you're talking about.
I would tell you the truth. I'm honest in my head.
That's like you're trying too hard, but I'm not. But
I'm on your side. Bro, Chill, hold on.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
It didn't like it?

Speaker 3 (25:55):
I know, well, I know it does, Diane. Just let
this happen. Let me play this out, Okay.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
But if this is like the third time that she's
brought it up and it's not him, and she's clearly
not calling him back because of some other guy that's
not him, I understand his frustration. It's like, it's not me.
I don't know what you want me to tell you.
It's probably, but I don't know why it's But now

(26:20):
I need to know why you change your name. Just
make up a story, dude, Just move on. I'm gonna
be honest with you. Best case scenario, this is always
going to be in her head, so it's time for
you just to move on and talk this one up
to a loss.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
But make up a good story and tell me why
you change your name.

Speaker 11 (26:35):
I would say, never changed my name. My name's always
been Airing.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
I don't understand the witness protection program. But now then
you'd be relocated to a different area, so it's definitely
not that. Plus you'd probably get the tattoo removed if
you were, yeah anyway identifying Yeah, well, what'd you say,
my FuG, it's a frog.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
People like thugs.

Speaker 11 (26:55):
There's very likely that somebody else could have a frog tattoo.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
You need to start a Facebook tattoos.

Speaker 5 (27:07):
Well, either way, whether he's telling the truth he's not,
it's always going to be in the back of your mind, Christine.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
So Christine, I think you should give another shot.

Speaker 14 (27:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (27:17):
I don't know. I think I'm good.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Diane asked the question officially though, because, like I, I
want you to like stir.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
This around a little bit. I am.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
I'm going to go home tonight thinking about whether you're
Aaron or Aaron and somebody else. I'm gonna be honest
with you. I will be on my drive home thinking
about you, Erin.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
I don't even think it's a good idea to go
on a second date, but I guess I'll ask Aaron,
would you want.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
A second date with Christite? If for some reason she
said yes, be a miracle.

Speaker 11 (27:49):
I mean, if you're just gonna give me the third
degree the whole time, then no. But if you're gonna,
if you're willing to accept that I'm not the same person,
then yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Do you have legal documentation such as a driver's license
or passport with your name?

Speaker 11 (28:03):
Yes? I have a driver's license in one.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
Okay, perfect photo copies of those, Christine, What do you
say he's got he's got proof?

Speaker 16 (28:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 12 (28:15):
I think I'm good. There are other fishing to see,
you know, and other frog.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
It might be Aaron with a different names.

Speaker 11 (28:21):
Apparently not according to you. Apparently not not other fishingcy according.

Speaker 12 (28:26):
To you, it's always the same guy.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
We're saying the same thing, same page, Aroon. I'm team Aaron.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
All right.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
Well we'll know Christine shows up on her next date
and thinks she dated that guy.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Then we'll know it's hard.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
That I think she should go get her brain checked.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
We don't know. All right, well, good luck both of you.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Wait to dodge bullet, by the way, and I could
go for either of you. I don't know who.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
We don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
I'm gonna think about this all day. It is ninety
five point one w A y V. The Mike and
Diane Show. Uh later this week is a very very
like not even exaggerating, a very big day like I
remember forever day, September eleventh, this Thursday. Yeah, not not
because of that, not the not you know why you

(29:13):
are thinking September eleventh. That is my wife's ring the
bell day. Her final chemo treatment is on Thursday, and
it has been a We talked about it on the show,
but really only once because I didn't want I wanted
to let everybody know what was going on, but I
didn't really let anybody know what was going on.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
So we talked about it. My wife had. I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
I have to get the actual reference, so I say
had or has had.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
We're gonna go with.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Had, because let's go with Had, because we've said a
lot of prayers and we pray that everything's good.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Yes, had breast cancer, Yes, she had her double misseectomy,
and as it came back that she was triple positive,
I think, like if you if you're in that world,
you know what I'm saying. I think I think she
was triple positive. So she had to end up getting
chemo treatments and it was more of the cleansing system

(30:12):
because they got clean margins, they got the lymph nodes out.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
There was no where like we blew.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Up the bridges, basically, is the way it was explained
to me, Like, there's no way for it to get out.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
So they got it.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
So they just wanted to kind of cleans the system
of anything that met across the bridge before they got
it out. And it's been uh, I'll just say it
like it is. It's been a horrible summer. It's been
a terrible summer.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
And she has been so brave.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
She's still coaching soccer.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
Yeah, she's been out on the field all summer in
the midst of chemo.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Like she's out of mind, but she's a strong woman.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
So we are.

Speaker 17 (30:57):
We are.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Saturday, a Thursday is our ring the Bell day. It's
our final chemo treatment. We're all done. I have now
decided that this is a me thing.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
All right.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
So this is where it turns from like, you know,
my wife into the problems that I've created for myself.

Speaker 3 (31:16):
Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (31:17):
She has a soccer game that night that she's a
varsity soccer coach.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
She has a game that night. She's going to the game.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
She's going to literally ring the bell, sit there for
five hours and get her infusion, get in the car
and drive to her soccer game. And I was like,
we're not just gonna let that fly. I've now invited
one hundred and fifty people who all said they're going
to be there, so we're all and she might show
up late to the game as the head coach, because

(31:49):
you know, some things are more important. And I've talked
to school. I've talked to the superintendent. I've talked to
the AD. I've talked to the assistant AD. Everybody's on board.
Everybody's cool. I've talked to the team that playing, which
is you know, a little more north of here, but
at Ocean County team, they're all on board. At halftime,
we're doing something and I don't know what it is. Oh,

(32:12):
I now have one hundred and fifty people, her family
and friends are all coming to this game.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
I don't know what I'm doing. I want to break
the you better figure it out.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Really, you have a.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Coffee mug that says like I will break this the
day I finish Chemo, Like that's her key, like her
coffee mug for the during the times, like I want
to break this, but I can't really break it on
a soccer field. Yeah, time of a game. Yeah, I
got to figure something out. I'll figure something out.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Only you don't have very long to do it.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
No, I mean flowers and balloons is not just going
to cut it. I gotta come up with me.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
So if you if you can't.

Speaker 3 (32:49):
Know, I know. But I'm a showman.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Everyone holding up different signs, different words.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
I love it. Yeah. On the field, that seems like
a lot of coordination.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
It does.

Speaker 14 (32:58):
Yeah, yea.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
I'm gonna text her beat friend right now as we're talking.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Like, hey, get on the sign, making get on the sign.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
I'll figure So maybe I'll make a get a box
or something for her to break the mug so she
can break it on the field.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
I don't know what to do.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
But if people don't know the reference beforehand the mug
that are watching, then that's why I'm leaning towards a
sign it has anything to do with me.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Which is bad news. I will I told the referees.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
The referees know, the other team knows, the A D
from the other school knows, the head coach knows.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
The parents already over there.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
No, they know that halftime is going to be extended.
So look for that on online. I'll make sure I
put that online.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
Well, Ashley, you've been very, very brave. Just really, she's
an incredible strong woman.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
It's been it's like we've been rainbows and sunshine's here,
but it's been. It's been a really, really, really really
tough summer.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
So I love you. I don't know how to end this.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Well, let us know how it goes on Thursday.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
How about this? A new chapter starts Friday morning. Yes, like,
we are done. I know, you know, Friday through Wednesday's
really gonna suck. But we're done. We're out, We're clear.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Yay.

Speaker 5 (34:19):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one WayV Ali from meg Harbor City is looking for
a second date update with a guy named Nathan.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
Good morning, Ali, Hi.

Speaker 10 (34:32):
How are you guys right?

Speaker 2 (34:33):
How are you doing?

Speaker 18 (34:36):
I'm okay, I've been better, I'll bet.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
So please tell us about your date and then we'll
try to help you out with that. So what happened
with Nathan on your first date?

Speaker 19 (34:45):
Yeah, we had a wonderful date.

Speaker 18 (34:47):
We had a lot of chemistry, We laughed a lot,
We kind of got into some you know, a few
deep conversations. Nothing too crazy. It's a first date, but
like you know, we definitely had some real connections and
great moments. And I haven't said on the date, like
are you would you want to do this again?

Speaker 9 (35:07):
Are you interested in.

Speaker 12 (35:08):
A second date?

Speaker 20 (35:10):
And he was like, yeah, definitely.

Speaker 18 (35:12):
And I haven't heard from him since he won't text
me back, so I'm not really sure what happened, if
I read.

Speaker 21 (35:19):
The signs wrong or what.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
That's unusual that you actually discussed a second date. We
don't hear that very often here. Usually they kind of
blow it off.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Sometimes we do, Yeah, they never get them. Sometimes we
hear them.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Oh, I'm really curious now. So what we'll do, Ali
is put you on hold.

Speaker 5 (35:38):
We'll play a song and we'll try to get Nathan
on the phone and on the phone and get some answers.
Coming up next on ninety five point one WayV ninety
five point one WayV. It's Mike and Diane's second date update.
A few minutes ago, Ali told us about our first
date with Nathan, that it was a great date, even
discussed if possible second date.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
And Ali, you haven't heard anything from him after that date? No,
how disappointing. Oh okay, let's get to it.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Yep, let's just do it.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Give him a call. Don't be nervous. You can say hello,
Oh hi, is this Nathan?

Speaker 16 (36:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (36:23):
Hello, Hello, it's Mike and Diane from ninety five point
one way V Radio.

Speaker 2 (36:28):
There's my co host, Mike.

Speaker 11 (36:30):
How you doing, Nathan? Good? What's this about?

Speaker 5 (36:35):
We do have a specific reason why we're calling. We're
hoping you have a few minutes because we got a
call from our radio family member Ali. And Ali was telling.

Speaker 11 (36:45):
Us, okay, yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
The woman you went on a date.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
With, Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
She was telling us about that date.

Speaker 5 (36:53):
She had a great time on the date, was expecting
a second date. Hasn't heard anything from you, so as
you can imagine, and she's not only concerned but confused,
so on her behalf, we're trying to get some answers.
So Nathan, would you mind telling us why are you
not getting back to her?

Speaker 11 (37:10):
Uh, it's yes, yes, it's so dumb.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
Okay, so how dumb is it?

Speaker 8 (37:26):
So she was.

Speaker 11 (37:26):
Basically, we did have a great time. I should say
that we did have a very good time. We had
a Yeah, she's great. She was talking about how she
like her dad like can get them into like this
like country pulp, it's like this pool and she wants
to like so all these things. And I was like, okay, great,

(37:49):
it sounds great. But then I thought about it, and
I was like, I'm not in this shape to kind
of take off my shirt in front of somebody that
I'm quoting this early and sore. Yeah, it's it's really silly,
and now that I really say it out loud, but
to be honest, like I was just like, I don't know,

(38:11):
I just didn't really want to face it or tell
her that I was embarrassed, so I was kind of
just avoiding her, which.

Speaker 8 (38:16):
You know, led to this.

Speaker 5 (38:18):
I guess I feel for you and Nathan, because that
can be an awkward thing only in your mind. Nobody
else cares, no one, no one cares what you look like.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Can I ask you?

Speaker 1 (38:29):
Can I ask a stupid question? Diane the first time
you're dating somebody and they take off their shirt, you're
gonna look, and you're gonna see it, and you're gonna
have an opinion.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
If you don't care, you're a better person than most.
I'm just gonna say it.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Well, if they don't like it, then let them be
on the other side of second date update.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
Oh yeah, I'm not listen.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but I'm gonna
I'm saying they will look, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Oh yeah, though, of course the look. But you know,
my mind is they've seen better, they've seen worse, and
that's how I live my life.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
But but to be fair, Diane, me and you both
have gotten to an age where we just don't care
anymore exactly. And I'm assuming this is a younger.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
That's a nice age to get to.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
Yeah, you know, it's great, it's great.

Speaker 5 (39:17):
Well, we have to tell you, Nathan that Ali has
been listening in Ali.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
I kind of feel bad for Nathan. Yeah, go ahead, Yeah.

Speaker 20 (39:26):
I'm sad you feel that way.

Speaker 18 (39:28):
That's like a little heartbreaking. I mean, you know, whether
there's a future.

Speaker 10 (39:36):
I mean, I just I wish you could have told
me because well, I would have changed our what we did.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
Maybe, Well, can I know, I know I'm not supposed
to jump in yet, but listen, he's not.

Speaker 3 (39:49):
There's no world is he telling you that? In no world?

Speaker 1 (39:52):
Is he going to be like I don't love the
pool because I don't want to take my shirt off
in front of you. Like that conversation is not going
to happen.

Speaker 10 (40:02):
Maybe you could have been like, oh, I can't swim.

Speaker 7 (40:05):
I don't know which is worse.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
Because then eventually you would find out that he could swim.
But you know, women feel this too, that they have
to wear the cover up.

Speaker 5 (40:16):
And they don't want to show anything, and so why
can't it be a man that feels self conscious? Not
they would have been better if he brought it up
to her, but I can relate.

Speaker 11 (40:26):
Yeah, it just it just isn't something I wanted to
deal with this early.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
Right, Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
You make her like you, then you show where you're
bod exactly.

Speaker 5 (40:37):
Yeah, you suggest places that with really good air conditioning
at first, right, right, Well, I'm going to ask the question, Nathan.

Speaker 3 (40:46):
Well now it's out there. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (40:47):
Yeah, I normally asked the person who called, but I'm
gonna ask Nathan first. This time, mix it up a
little bit. Nathan, would you want a second date? I
don't know what you would do on the second date.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
It would be on awesome. We're not members of the
country club, so we can't send you there.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
Yeah, I'm one hundred percent going to say the second
date now has to be at the pool.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
It has to be off the band Yeah, the band
aid's got to be ripped, all right.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
Or you go on a date and the before the
date starts, you take off your shirt. You know what,
both of you take off your shirts?

Speaker 11 (41:18):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (41:18):
Okay, now too far? Did I go too far?

Speaker 2 (41:21):
Which beat are we paying for? You?

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Come on, listen, I'm all right, No, it's got to
be the pool. It has to be the pool. Just
rip the band aid. You had the conversation awkwardly and
weirdly here, but you had the conversation.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
She knows you know. Everything's cool now, and I'll bet you.

Speaker 2 (41:37):
You'll have a great time at the pool.

Speaker 3 (41:39):
Yes, go to the pool.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
We'll send you to one of the casino pools. We'll
figure it out. Get some cocktails, get some snacks. It'll
be nice.

Speaker 5 (41:47):
Not all of them, all right. So Nathan, what do
you say, would you want a second date?

Speaker 2 (41:52):
If Ali said yes.

Speaker 11 (41:54):
Yeah, but only I wear a bikini, chop.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
Do this?

Speaker 3 (42:00):
They always try and make one more jokes. It just
doesn't work.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
Maybe Allie likes that joke. Alli, What do you say?
Would you want a second date with Nathan?

Speaker 14 (42:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 18 (42:11):
Definitely ahead, Yes, Mike.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
You know I love it. Romance is abo?

Speaker 3 (42:17):
Come on? Maybe she likes big teddy Bears.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
I don't know, I know I do.

Speaker 5 (42:24):
Well, listen, have a great time on your date. Just
go for don't worry about anything. We are our own
worst critic.

Speaker 8 (42:30):
Yes, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 11 (42:32):
Thanks guys, Good.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
Morning, It's Mike and Diane.

Speaker 5 (42:35):
Thank you for spending time with us on ninety five
point one WayV. You can even make us a pre
set on the free iHeartRadio app so you don't miss
anything coming up. The weirdest TV lineup of shows I
have ever seen.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
I didn't even know this channel existed.

Speaker 5 (42:52):
Find out next the Mike and Diane Show on ninety
five point one WayV.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
My hobby was looking through the line up on TV
and he was telling me about the shows on ESPN news.
Did you ever watch that channel?

Speaker 3 (43:08):
I mean I did not recently.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
I didn't know it existed.

Speaker 1 (43:13):
I knew the spin new has been around forever.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
ESPN two, but ESPN News and this lineup was something
else because at the moment we were looking at it
and he actually clicked it on some week of watch
the cherry pit spitting Championship was on.

Speaker 3 (43:32):
Yeah, so they did.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
They're the heck so yeah, they they definitely put that
stuff on there.

Speaker 3 (43:37):
Yeah, it's wild what they do.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
It's kind of taken the wide world of sports from
way way back in the day where they take like
they go to like these crazy like the rock rollers
in Ireland where they roll rocks on the road.

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Who can do it? The furthest and now they just
put them on TV.

Speaker 5 (43:53):
And then they used to uh, the wife carrying Championship
they got that back in the day. Well, this was
the cherry pitt spitting champion so I had to look
it up. So there is a Guinness World record. I
don't know if they broke it on that particular day
because we didn't watch the whole thing. Yeah, ninety five
feet six and a half inches for cherry pitt spitting
in case you want to try it at home then,

(44:14):
So then I said to him, listen, I want to
know what else is on coming up for tonight.

Speaker 2 (44:19):
The World Sign which I got to see a minute
or two of. So they're kind of doing break dancing
and they've signed, they're holding signs and it looks difficult.
I do have to give it to them that I
don't think I would be able to do that. The
Pillow Fight Championship I did not see, but I've heard
of before. The Air Guitar Championship, The All Star Air
Off was coming up. The Wheeled Beds Contact, which teams

(44:42):
navigated beds through a course. That one I think I'd.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
Like to see that one would be good.

Speaker 2 (44:47):
Yeah, and oh two more the Waitress and Waiter competition,
where you make it through this difficult course. So I'm
thinking maybe they have stacked up trays and they have
to go.

Speaker 3 (44:57):
Yeah, that i'd like to see.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
No.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Tag's incredible.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
I haven't seen tag.

Speaker 1 (45:02):
Tag is in like the most dangerous jungle gym you've
ever seen. And it's literally like in a like the
Battlebot's Dome where there's like lights flashing and they got
to tag somebody and the other guy's running and flipping
and spinning through metal bars.

Speaker 3 (45:19):
It's wild.

Speaker 1 (45:20):
There's only one person to blame for all of this,
or one movie. There's one movie to blame for this,
and it's Dodgeball.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
Oh dodge by Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:27):
Because Dodgeball was on ESPN the Ochoa, and after that
movie came out, everyone was clamoring for ESPN the Ocho
because they they clearly made it seem in the movie
that ESPN the Ocho would put like ridiculous things on.

Speaker 3 (45:43):
Here we are twenty.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
Years later on ESPN News.

Speaker 3 (45:47):
Cherry's spitting, what are we doing?

Speaker 5 (45:50):
I have one more of those The Slippery Stairs. The
Slippery Stairs Competition unpredictable controlled chaos as contestants of challenge
with unpredictable app slippery slime, dodging balls, and the challenge
of being the first one to the top.

Speaker 1 (46:04):
That one is from Oh god, what is that show
they tried to the original was it was a Japanese
show and they remade it in America and it was
became wipeout. The actual show is from Japan and it's
the greatest show of all time.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
Because they didn't like in America. They made it like
americanized in Japan. It was just hilarious, like they did
it perfectly well.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
This one has the stairs.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
Yeah, they had that there. It was great.

Speaker 5 (46:34):
Anyway, if you live a boring life like we do,
definitely check out ESPN News Boring.

Speaker 3 (46:39):
I don't live boring. I just carved time out of
my day to watch this one.

Speaker 5 (46:42):
We're talking about myself, Mike and Diane's frivolous lawsuits on
ninety five point one WayV. This may be the most
frivolous lawsuit I've ever heard of. And that's a bold
statement because we've heard so many lot Hershey a spoiler,
A lot Hershey won the suit over a candy not

(47:03):
being spooky enough. But yeah, there are a group of
people that sued Hershey because Reese's Halloween candies aren't spooky enough.
It was a class action lawsuit and it was specifically
over the Jack o' lantern Reese's cups, which side note.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
I love them.

Speaker 5 (47:22):
So they're saying that the packaging, I can't even the
product for the packaging depicts a grinning pumpkin. But these people,
the consumers were disappointed when they unwrapped the treat and
there was no detail to it. It didn't have a
face on it. So they're saying, basically, it's false advertising.

(47:42):
This is real life people out that's yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
So can you. I just wantn't be able to keep
a straight face.

Speaker 5 (47:50):
And there are attorneys obviously that well that's their job
that they will take these cases. So it went to court,
and luckily a district judge ruled that the lawsuit failed
to prove that there was any economic injury.

Speaker 2 (48:04):
Hey, Reese's is Reese's. If you want to give me
in any form, I don't care.

Speaker 5 (48:08):
I'll eat of Reese's and noted quote the chocolate still
tasted like chocolate.

Speaker 3 (48:15):
Shocking.

Speaker 2 (48:16):
Look, here's exhibit A. If everybody could try a Reese's pumpkin,
if I was on that jewelry.

Speaker 3 (48:21):
Yeah, this got on.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
If her she's won, or if her she's won, she's
Hershey yeah yeah, if her she's won, this had to
have gone to court.

Speaker 2 (48:31):
Oh, it did go to court. It was a clash
action lawsuit. Get me district court, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (48:35):
Get me that.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
Give me that tape of the pointer laser pointer on there, like, yeah,
I need to hear it.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
I know, fantastic.

Speaker 5 (48:43):
I need to see if this is on court TV.
But this is the most frivolous, ridiculous lawsuit.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
And now all I want to do is eat Reese's
Halloween peanut butter cups, something pumpkins.

Speaker 3 (48:53):
Yes, thank you, they're not that scary.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
They're good. Though.

Speaker 3 (48:56):
It is ninety five point one w A YV.

Speaker 1 (48:58):
Mike and Diane waking up with you, and there's only
one place and one thing to do, and that has
to click this little button that's gonna go.

Speaker 17 (49:09):
I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story,
and I eat all of you to stop what you're
doing and listen.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
No No Way news. And I bet you think we're
going to Florida. I was thinking that we're not. We're
going to Zech Republic. Oh all right, are you ready
for this one?

Speaker 2 (49:27):
Yep?

Speaker 1 (49:27):
Where a driver for six years became famous with police
and the neighbors and the city because he was driving
in F one style car, an F two car on
the highways like.

Speaker 2 (49:44):
Those ones in the Fast and Furies movies.

Speaker 3 (49:48):
No, oh F one F one like an indie car.
Oh okay, but like way faster.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
Okay, you're not speaking my language.

Speaker 3 (50:01):
Oh this landed so flat. And he was doing two.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Hundred miles an hour on the highways man, and they
had no idea who he.

Speaker 3 (50:10):
Was, but they know it was the same car. They
can't the person because you wear a full.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
Racing suit and helmet. That he would do two hundred
miles an hour. And these cars can corner, can turn
faster to.

Speaker 3 (50:24):
The edny car in the world.

Speaker 1 (50:25):
So even if the cops came and got him, good luck,
you ain't getting them.

Speaker 3 (50:30):
You can outrun helicopters.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
These cars are the fastest, most technicologically advanced. It might
as well be the batmobile, Like, you're not catching this guy. Wow,
after six years, they caught him.

Speaker 3 (50:42):
They caught him, and guess what.

Speaker 7 (50:45):
His fine is?

Speaker 1 (50:48):
Convicted, if convicted, guess what his finest.

Speaker 3 (50:56):
Ten four hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (51:00):
He was saying, Oh it.

Speaker 3 (51:01):
Was marthy Off n F two car Czech Republic.

Speaker 2 (51:05):
Yeah, he was probably just thinking it's worth it. I'll
do this. I'll get right back dollar car, right back
out on the road.

Speaker 1 (51:11):
It's a million dollar car and a six month ban
of operating illegal race cars on public roads.

Speaker 2 (51:17):
I mean, what do you I want?

Speaker 3 (51:18):
I want to say that one more time, he was.

Speaker 1 (51:21):
If convicted, he's got a four hundred dollars I'm sorry,
a two hundred and forty two, four hundred dollars fine.
And a driving ban of six months to a year
of operating in illegal race car and public roads, which
means six months.

Speaker 3 (51:33):
Give it a shot.

Speaker 5 (51:34):
I would give him a ticket for that. Not being practical.
You know you go to the supermarket. Can you fit
anything in those cars?

Speaker 3 (51:41):
No, barely a person.

Speaker 2 (51:43):
That's my ticket. You're not practical, dude.

Speaker 3 (51:46):
Yeah, I just need to get my hands on an
F two car now.

Speaker 5 (51:50):
Mike and Diane's second date update. A ninety five point
one WayV Mark from Rio grand is.

Speaker 2 (51:56):
Looking for a second date update with a girl named Tina.

Speaker 22 (51:59):
Hi Mark, Hey guys, how are you doing.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
Hi good, How are you good?

Speaker 7 (52:04):
I'm doing very well.

Speaker 22 (52:05):
Thank you for having me.

Speaker 2 (52:06):
That's good, I should have said a woman named Tina.
Excuse me?

Speaker 22 (52:09):
Yeah, you will as a woman, definitely.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
So why don't we start there. Please tell us about
the lovely lady Tina and your.

Speaker 22 (52:18):
First date that it is great. We got a long lot,
we had a lot of laughs in the state. I
thought I thought it'd be fun to do something off
the wall, a little bit, something not your typical boring
first date.

Speaker 7 (52:32):
It was really hot, I mean it's getting into the summer.
So I took.

Speaker 22 (52:35):
Tina to Maury's peers, and we had a great time.

Speaker 3 (52:39):
Fun, okay, love it as a first date. Yes, let's
get in our bathing suits.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
Something different.

Speaker 22 (52:45):
Theater child why not?

Speaker 8 (52:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (52:47):
Fair fair?

Speaker 2 (52:49):
So how was it?

Speaker 7 (52:51):
It was great?

Speaker 22 (52:52):
I mean I had a phenomenal time. Loved those rides
and going there since I was a kid. And uh, yeah,
I think she had a good time. She said she
had a lot of fun. And we we were joking
and lining because you know, you have a long time.

Speaker 8 (53:02):
It's no the summer. There's lots of line, so we could.

Speaker 22 (53:04):
Talk while we were in line and then and then.

Speaker 7 (53:07):
Enjoy the rides.

Speaker 22 (53:08):
And then they have food and stuff there too. So
I thought we had a great time. But I haven't
heard back from her, so I don't know. Maybe she
had too much water in her in her bikini.

Speaker 3 (53:16):
I don't know, honestly.

Speaker 1 (53:17):
Yeah, okay, all right, can imagine where this went? Honestly,
A great idea outside of like just a water park,
but like amusement parker somewhere with lines that has like
a heartbreak in a conversation. Yeah, so there's not like
this awkward silence, like there's always something going.

Speaker 2 (53:33):
On, always something to talk about. People watching the people watching.

Speaker 1 (53:37):
Oh, but prayers to those people in line around you
as you're getting to know each other and look at
each other, like, what is happening in.

Speaker 3 (53:43):
Front of us?

Speaker 2 (53:45):
This is a first date?

Speaker 3 (53:46):
I like it.

Speaker 5 (53:47):
Maybe you didn't offer her curly fries at Mary's Peers.
That might be it. That could be a deal breaker.
But we need to find out.

Speaker 2 (53:54):
Mark, So what we'll do is put you on hold,
play a song, try to get Tina on the phone next. Fully,
her bathing suit is all dried out now, and we'll
get some details next.

Speaker 5 (54:04):
On ninety five point one WayV. Ninety five point one WayV.
Mike and Diane's second date update. We talked to Mark
a few minutes ago. He told us about his first
date with Tina. They went to the water parks at
Maury's Piers. Mark, you had a great time, right.

Speaker 22 (54:21):
I had a phenomenal time.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
But you haven't heard You haven't heard anything from Tina
after that date.

Speaker 3 (54:28):
I can't wait for this. I have you know something
happened there and what could go wrong?

Speaker 2 (54:34):
It just sounds like so much fun to meet. Let's
get to it. Come on, here we go, Mark, let's
all strap in.

Speaker 9 (54:47):
Hello, Hi, is this Tina, it is Hello.

Speaker 2 (54:52):
It's Mike, and it's.

Speaker 5 (54:53):
Mike and Diane from ninety five point one WayV Radio.

Speaker 2 (54:56):
There's Mike. We host a morning show.

Speaker 23 (55:00):
I know you do.

Speaker 9 (55:01):
Oh my gosh, I love you guys.

Speaker 2 (55:03):
Oh, thank you so much. Appreciate that always makes our day.

Speaker 5 (55:07):
Well, since you like us, this is a step in
the right direction because we're going to ask you a favor. Please,
we would like to know what happened on your first
day with Mark, because.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
Mark also listens to us.

Speaker 5 (55:18):
You do have that in common, but he's not hearing
back from you after what we think sounds like a
first fun date.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
So, Tina, what happened?

Speaker 20 (55:26):
Oh no, well, I mean it was a really fun idea.

Speaker 11 (55:31):
You know.

Speaker 15 (55:32):
We went to the water park and I hadn't been
since I was like a kid, so I was kind
of excited to do it. You guys are gonna think
I'm so shallow. So he was wearing goggles and water shoes,
you guys, but I knew something about the water. Nobody

(56:00):
else was. I mean, I mean there were a couple
of little chips who were, but he was the only
grown person who was.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
He was channeling his inner child. I'm getting a visual
right now. And I wasn't on the date with him, obviously,
but I sounds cute.

Speaker 3 (56:15):
I mean, I feel like Crocs have taken right. Crocs
are new water shoes.

Speaker 2 (56:20):
Yeah, yeah, pretty much the water shoes.

Speaker 3 (56:22):
That's a commitment. That's a pro.

Speaker 1 (56:24):
If I met a water park and I see a
guy with goggles and water shoes, get out of.

Speaker 3 (56:29):
His way or follow him around because he knows all
the secrets.

Speaker 2 (56:31):
He's on a mission. He knows the good rides. Yeah,
a good slides.

Speaker 22 (56:35):
Excuse I thought maybe he was like kidding, you know,
like maybe he was gonna like.

Speaker 23 (56:40):
Like I was going to sing a song or something like.

Speaker 22 (56:42):
I thought he was just going to do something totally
over the top.

Speaker 19 (56:45):
But that was just like that's what he does. That's
how he goes to the water park.

Speaker 2 (56:49):
That's how he goes to water park.

Speaker 5 (56:50):
Okay, well, I'd like to confirm that if you don't mind,
because we have to let you know that Mark has
been listening in Mark, you're not wearing your goggles right now,
are you?

Speaker 2 (56:59):
Or water shoes not at the moment.

Speaker 22 (57:01):
I mean, I wear them when they're warranted. I came prepared,
and that made you feel Insecuritina of God.

Speaker 15 (57:10):
Okay, well okay, uh yeah, I'm not picking back my decision.

Speaker 24 (57:17):
After hearing that.

Speaker 7 (57:18):
Wow, I don't think.

Speaker 22 (57:23):
Around someone that knew what they were doing.

Speaker 5 (57:29):
I bet a lot of people wish they would think
of goggles though, especially if you wear contact lenses.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
That was always an issue for me at water parks.

Speaker 3 (57:37):
Honestly, props to both of you.

Speaker 1 (57:39):
One props the Mark to have the guts to be
like we should go to a water park on our
first date?

Speaker 3 (57:44):
Yes, And props to Tina for saying.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
Yes, I'm not even kidding like that is gutsy to
be like, sure bikini's first date, Like I'm not, I'm
not even like making a joke like.

Speaker 3 (58:02):
Props to you guys, like it works.

Speaker 22 (58:04):
Guys, Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 13 (58:06):
I was nervous about that.

Speaker 2 (58:07):
Yeah. Yeah, and see he didn't. I'm sure he made
you feel comfortable. Is that correct?

Speaker 22 (58:16):
Are you getting that from him?

Speaker 9 (58:18):
That's not what I would say.

Speaker 13 (58:19):
Yeah I did.

Speaker 22 (58:21):
Yeah, I didn't say anything about how you look or anything.

Speaker 8 (58:24):
I was happy to be there. Hey, I don't.

Speaker 22 (58:26):
I don't think it was a waste, even if you
clearly said did.

Speaker 8 (58:29):
I had a great time.

Speaker 5 (58:30):
Yeah, that was my point that he didn't make you
feel uncomfortable was all about what you were thinking. That
you would be embarrassed with him, because I would be
nervous to going on a first date into bathing stupid.
If the guy made me feel comfortable, I say, oh,
this is great.

Speaker 1 (58:43):
And you know what if he's wearing goggles and water shoes,
my man don't care. He's there, he's on a mission.

Speaker 2 (58:50):
I'm gonna tell my husband to do next.

Speaker 3 (58:52):
Yeah, why not?

Speaker 2 (58:53):
All right, I need to get to the question.

Speaker 3 (58:55):
Mark, I have one more question.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
Okay, Michael Phelps goggles or Snorkel goggles, big difference.

Speaker 3 (59:02):
Are they the one sucked right to the eyes or
are we talking?

Speaker 1 (59:04):
The nose was covered too, and he talked the whole
time like that.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
It was who cares?

Speaker 3 (59:15):
It's the image gets better?

Speaker 2 (59:18):
Yes it does.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
How did you stop it from fogging? Never mind?

Speaker 2 (59:23):
Mark, would you want a second date with Tina? Now
that you've heard her reason that she hasn't been reaching out?
If she said yes, it would be on us and
we can do non water park this time. Although that
does sound like fun, go ahead.

Speaker 22 (59:34):
I mean I'd be open to it if she did.
I mean, fine, guy, I won't wear the goggle, Tina.

Speaker 2 (59:42):
It's all up to you. And since the date is
on us, we'll make sure you get those curly fries
if he didn't get them last time.

Speaker 3 (59:48):
On this date, we'll send you to a Phillies game.
Next bad news. He dresses as the fanatic.

Speaker 2 (59:55):
That gets so hot.

Speaker 22 (59:56):
But now I don't know.

Speaker 15 (59:58):
I do admire the hook.

Speaker 23 (01:00:00):
Sure, let's do it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
Yeah, why, thank you?

Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
I yes, yes, pleasantly surprised.

Speaker 3 (01:00:07):
See people all takes as a conversation.

Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
I can't wait until the second date. We have to
do a follow up. Guys, Okay, yeah, all right, absolutely,
all right, good luck and have fun.

Speaker 8 (01:00:18):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
It's ninety five point one WayV. I appreciate the PTO.
I just want to lay that out there. I appreciate
the PTO. At my kid's school, they work hard, they
do the right things, they do really fun things. But
why does my kid have to pay five dollars to
participate in pajama Day?

Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
And if they don't get the five dollars, their life
is over.

Speaker 3 (01:00:44):
I have two kids.

Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
I have to pay ten dollars for my kids to
wear pajamas to school.

Speaker 5 (01:00:48):
So this is just a regular school day. They said,
wear your pajamas. You probably bought new.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
Pajamas just because it's an exciting thing.

Speaker 1 (01:00:58):
Oh, we don't do that on okay, yeah, no, no, no,
you wear what you got, all right, Well.

Speaker 5 (01:01:01):
At least you don't have to pay for the new ones.
But what are they bringing in food? Like, what's the
point of paying five dollars?

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
I don't get it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
Yeah, we're all trying to figure that out.

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
Its something they're doing.

Speaker 1 (01:01:11):
Noe, they get nothing, they get nothing. You want to
you want to wear pajamas at school on all the
pajama days?

Speaker 3 (01:01:18):
Five dollars?

Speaker 5 (01:01:19):
So what so if you say, listen, I don't think
that's right. I'm not paying the five dollars. So some
of them the kids have the pajamas and some don't,
which you wouldn't want to do.

Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
I'm sure they're not going to there's no bouncer with
a list at the door. I'm sure that's not the case. Okay,
just ask me for money. You don't have to, you
don't have to do this.

Speaker 5 (01:01:38):
I just don't think that's right. I think it's yeah
to ask for money in a different way.

Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
Because this is a special day for the kids. We
never did that in school. I think we would have
been excited because we love pajama parties.

Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
This is the first time they've ever done it. Now,
we've had pajama days in the past, like where we
send a kid like five or six a year where
the kids go to school in pajamas. I've never been
asked for money. Yeah, I'm okay with the money. Like,
I'll give you the money. I don't care. I just
why are you holding my kid up? Who's then holding
me up?

Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
I just think it's the point of it.

Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
Yeah, what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (01:02:09):
I just think it sounds like there should be more off.

Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
Let's talk back. PTO members tell me the reasoning.

Speaker 2 (01:02:15):
Well, just for that in honor of your kids. Mike,
I'm wearing my pajamas to work tomorrow and I'm not paying.

Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
Honey, we wear pajamas to work every day, that's true,
and we don't pay.

Speaker 3 (01:02:26):
They pay us. Actually, it's weird, I believe it or not.

Speaker 5 (01:02:28):
Your kid wants a pet, but it's one that is terrifying.
It's the Mike and Diane Show on ninety five point
one way V Mike, what would you do if your
son or daughter came to you and said Mom and dad.

Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
I want to get a tarantala. No, no, no, just now.

Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
Luckily I showed my son home alone early in life.
I love that movie and that ended that dream quickly.

Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
Hey that's a good way, yeah, for other parents to
kind of, you know, preemptively not want their kids to
want tarantula, because kids are always asking for different pets.

Speaker 5 (01:03:09):
My sister was like that growing up. Every week it
was a different pet. I want a hamster, I want
a guinea.

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
Pig, I want a bird, I want a cat, I
want a dog, I want a rabbit. Most of them
my parents.

Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
Funny, you say that because I married that girl. She's like,
I want a rabbit.

Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
I'm like, why we live in a development, like we're not,
why would we get a rabbit. That's my wife, by
the way, not your sister. The same woman who when
we lived in an ah Aloa was like, I want chickens,
and then we got chickens.

Speaker 2 (01:03:37):
Chickens.

Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
Yeah, So I married her.

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
Because you know, most of these creatures are so cute,
but they are Tarantula is next level. So this happened
to Mariah Carey.

Speaker 5 (01:03:49):
Her son came to her and said started begging her,
I want a tarantula. I want a tarantula, and she
said she caved.

Speaker 2 (01:03:57):
Oh my gosh, yes, it's it's flipping me out. But
he really wanted it. And everything I do always get
Monroe when she wants.

Speaker 9 (01:04:05):
She's got a new golden retriever.

Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
So the sister, his sister always gets what she wants.
But she's asking for a dog and he's asking for
a tarantula.

Speaker 3 (01:04:15):
She's asking for a pet.

Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
Yeah. Yeah, there's her typical.

Speaker 3 (01:04:18):
Biggest, harriest spider you've ever seen, typical pet.

Speaker 11 (01:04:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:04:21):
Different.

Speaker 2 (01:04:22):
So I started thinking, what is the most unusual pet
that either you have now or that you had as
a kid, and maybe your parents caved.

Speaker 5 (01:04:31):
Let us know and talk back on the free iHeartRadio app.
You're direct lying to us in the studio. When you're
listening to WayV on the app, you just tap that
little red microphone and you can record your message. We
want to know, or give us a call. Good morning,
It's Mike and Diane on ninety five point one way V.
Mariah Carey's son asked for a tarantula, and he got one.

(01:04:54):
She's a little freaked out, But we were wondering what
was the most unusual pet you had growing up or
even now, so thank you for your talkbacks.

Speaker 6 (01:05:03):
We had a really unusual pet. It was a python.
The thing was about six foot long. My brother had it.
I can't believe my mom let him have it, but
he had it, and he would take it out and
it would wrap around your arm. It was pretty cool.
It would wrap around your arm just to get.

Speaker 3 (01:05:19):
Kind of warm, and yeah, that's what it was doing.

Speaker 6 (01:05:21):
You don't want to get it too close to your neck, obviously,
but it got out one time too in the house
and we had to look, and I think we found
him in the heater fence.

Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
I like, I like to listen.

Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
I love your talkbacks, but that, uh, that snake was
not wrapping around it's your arm to the cozy.

Speaker 2 (01:05:41):
On a warm night.

Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
Yeah, yeah, that's not that's not what was happening.

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
Yeah, just for warm, fill up the snuggle. No words.

Speaker 5 (01:05:50):
Yeah, that's that's unusual. I will definitely give you that.
So we have the oh you know what, let's play,
which is worse real quick tarantula or okay Angela or
the yeah you know what, I'm gonna go snake?

Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
How big of a hython six me? If I laid
on the ground.

Speaker 3 (01:06:10):
It's me.

Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
Let me see that.

Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
I mean, I'm listen. I don't want to I'm six
to six. I don't want to throw that out of there,
but me me laying on the ground. Imagine me laying
on the ground, slithering around.

Speaker 2 (01:06:22):
Okay, I'll go with the tarantula. Thank you for making
that almost visual.

Speaker 3 (01:06:27):
I just did that whole thing and to day and
it's like, yeah, I go with the tarantula.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
Bring on the tarantula, baby.

Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
Yeah, listen, I'm out, out on all of it, out
on all of it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
I'm slithering over there.

Speaker 5 (01:06:40):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point one,
w A y v Amy from EHT is looking for
a second date update with a guy named Joe Amy.

Speaker 2 (01:06:50):
How are you today?

Speaker 14 (01:06:52):
Hey and good?

Speaker 19 (01:06:52):
How are you doing well?

Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
Thank you? Just curious at your date and Joe, so
please tell us everything.

Speaker 20 (01:06:59):
Well, we went on the first date and honestly, it
was fantastic. I thought we had great chemistry. We were,
you know, hanging out outside, just took a nice walk together.

Speaker 22 (01:07:10):
It was really, I.

Speaker 20 (01:07:11):
Don't know, it was just so nice compared to some
of the first dates I've been on, and you know,
so I thought everything was great, and now it's been
literally three months since we went out, and we've been texting.
I mean, we've been talking all the time on text
back and forth. But every time I try to get
him to actually meet up and go out again, he's

(01:07:33):
got some kind of excuse for why he can't.

Speaker 5 (01:07:37):
So it's not like contact is completely gone. It's just
that you're trying to get together and it just isn't happening.

Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
Yeah, we're we're we're in a weird spot here because
we're used to no contact.

Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:07:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
I hope he doesn't have a second family. He's trying
to juggle.

Speaker 3 (01:07:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
I've been watching too much Lifetime.

Speaker 3 (01:07:56):
I've had that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
I had that conversation with somebody the other day, Like
that's imposs.

Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
It would be a challenge, Like that is impossible to do. Yes,
I think with technology it would be, but you never know.

Speaker 5 (01:08:09):
Maybe some people try it, but we'll find out if
that's the case. What we'll do, Amy is put you
on hold, play a song. We'll try to get Joe
and hopefully not his second family on the phone. Coming
up next on ninety five point one WayV. Ninety five
point one WayV is Mike and Diane's second date update.

(01:08:29):
A few minutes ago, Amy told us she went on
a first date with Joe.

Speaker 2 (01:08:33):
Everything went well.

Speaker 5 (01:08:34):
You've been in contact with Joe, but he doesn't seem
to want to get together and you don't know why.

Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
Is that correct, Amy?

Speaker 20 (01:08:43):
Yep, that's exactly it.

Speaker 3 (01:08:44):
This is weird. This is weird. There's contact, but no,
let's all right, here we go.

Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
Yeah, let's let's get to it. See what's going on
with Joe. Hello, Hi Joe.

Speaker 23 (01:09:02):
Yes, it's Joe speaking joke.

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
Good morning.

Speaker 5 (01:09:04):
It's Mike and Diane from ninety five point one WayV Radio.

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
We host a morning show. Here's my co host, Mike.
How are you.

Speaker 8 (01:09:15):
I'm none good.

Speaker 23 (01:09:16):
I wasn't expecting this call.

Speaker 5 (01:09:19):
We do hear that a lot, but we're hoping you
have a couple of minutes because we got a call
from one of our radio family members, Amy, and Amy
was telling us she went on a date with you,
and she has been chatting back and forth with you,
but hasn't been able to make a second date and
doesn't quite understand. We don't quite understand it either, because
it sounded like a good date from what she said.

(01:09:40):
So on her behalf. We're just trying to get some answer.
So was mine telling us Joe?

Speaker 23 (01:09:46):
Oh yeah, no, I sorry, I just kind of caught
me off guard.

Speaker 2 (01:09:55):
Here, sure, understandable.

Speaker 23 (01:09:58):
Yeah, no, Amy. I actually i'd like to see I'd
love to see Amy again. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 23 (01:10:05):
It was a good date and I thought she was
great and yeah, just the timing hasn't I guess worked out?

Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
Yeah I am Why if not? Mine does as he?
Why has the timing not worked out? What's what's going on?

Speaker 23 (01:10:24):
I well, I don't really Okay, here's.

Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
The deal saying it just stop being around the bush
when I leave until you do exactly, we will hang
on this line forever.

Speaker 23 (01:10:36):
It's just it's kind of it's kind of embarrassing, but
I guess here goes. I recently got hair transplants, so
I'm just kind of I'm waiting for those to kind
of lock in, you know, heal, before I go on
any more dates with with Amy. So yeah, that's that's

(01:10:58):
kind of the reason we haven't. I've just been trying
to stall the second date.

Speaker 5 (01:11:05):
Oh so you didn't want to tell her you have
the little dots up there.

Speaker 23 (01:11:10):
Yeah, yeah, it's pretty obvious. It's it's it's bad right now.
I was lucky our first date, we were just like
outside of the park all day, so I just wore
a ball cap, you know, and it, yeah, it totally
covered it up. And I never I never took my
hat off. But she was talking about like getting dinner
or something at a maybe semi nice place, and obviously

(01:11:32):
I can't really wear a hat in a place like that.

Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
So that's understandable.

Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
I hear.

Speaker 5 (01:11:38):
That's painful too, we hear. But people have been getting
really good results from it. From what I've seen lately.

Speaker 3 (01:11:46):
That's where everybody goes. It's not even a joke.

Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
Hair transplants and veneers. I think Turkey seems to be
the place.

Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
I didn't know about veneers, but I knew about the
air transport. But I'm balding. I'm not balding.

Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
I still have not beautiful head of hair.

Speaker 3 (01:11:59):
It's lighting, it's light lighter, but.

Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
I get it.

Speaker 5 (01:12:02):
And the thing is that Amy just didn't understand because
you both said you had a great date, and we
have to let you know. He now knows the reason
why you've been putting this off because Amy's been listening
in Amy, say hi to Joe please, Hey Joe, Hey, Joe.

Speaker 23 (01:12:20):
Hey, Amy. I hope this doesn't change your view of
me at all.

Speaker 20 (01:12:29):
No, honestly, not at all. I totally get it, and
I wish you'd told me. I mean, look, I dye
my hair, I get my eyebrows done and nothing like crazy.
But I think you know, if there's something that makes
you not as confident about yourself.

Speaker 12 (01:12:43):
And you have the ability to change it, why not, touche,
I you agree, puche.

Speaker 8 (01:12:49):
Wow.

Speaker 23 (01:12:50):
Wow, Yeah, that's that's a relief. I was really worried
you'd you just not be be a fan of it.
So yeah, I'm sorry. I've sort of been in uh
dropping the ball on this second date, but I'd love
to see you again.

Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
Well here's the thing, as we know that somewhere in
between the first date and now he got the hair transplants.
So figure out a date where he doesn't have to
wear a hat because he can't wear a hat right
now because that was an expensive thing unless it was
a turkey, which is still expensive it is. So figure

(01:13:27):
out a date where you can look at those old
dots on his hat growing in little baby hairs.

Speaker 20 (01:13:34):
That sounds great.

Speaker 3 (01:13:35):
I was like, oh my God, nobody respondsed to that.

Speaker 5 (01:13:39):
That sounds great, and now it's out in the open,
and then you can just you can both be relieved
that it wasn't anything to do with the date.

Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
You like each other, so that's the good news.

Speaker 5 (01:13:49):
And now maybe Joe will feel like he can open
up a little bit more to Amy again.

Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
Only first date, you kind of don't know what you.

Speaker 5 (01:13:55):
Want to tell somebody, and maybe in that quick of
time or if you're going to be and she's not
judging them.

Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
So that's awesome that we know of Now.

Speaker 5 (01:14:04):
It sounded like Joe would say yes to a second date, right, Joe?

Speaker 23 (01:14:10):
Absolutely, I'd much to say.

Speaker 3 (01:14:12):
I guess we should have figured that part out.

Speaker 2 (01:14:14):
Okay, it would be on us. Now it really comes
down to you, Amy, would you want a second date
with Joe, knowing now why he hasn't made definite plans.

Speaker 20 (01:14:22):
Yes, I definitely would like to go out again.

Speaker 2 (01:14:25):
Yeah, all right, I get excited when we get that
second date.

Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
Waiting on that wedding. By this point we should have
had one or not being told we're some second date update. Children,
Come on, all right, let's go pressure first.

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
No pressure, guys, but we want to issh you the.

Speaker 8 (01:14:42):
Best of Look, thank you so much, thank you ninety.

Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
Five point one w A YV Mike, Diane, waking up
with you. Time for something very special.

Speaker 17 (01:14:53):
I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story,
and I eat all of you to stop what you're
doing and listen.

Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
No goodness, I love this story. I'm just gonna tell
you right away. All right, where do you think we're going?

Speaker 3 (01:15:11):
Florida, You're wrong. We're going to Spain.

Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
Oh, Spain. I've never been to Spain.

Speaker 3 (01:15:17):
Savilla.

Speaker 1 (01:15:18):
We're going to Severa, Spain, Sevilla, or as uncultured Americans
would say, Sevilla.

Speaker 2 (01:15:24):
I would just like to tell you that the Real
Housewives of Miami just got back from Sevilla.

Speaker 3 (01:15:30):
Sevilla, Spain, not Civilla.

Speaker 2 (01:15:34):
They made it. They made a point of saying that.

Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
But go ahead, Bafflonna, Bafflona. Yeah, all right, back to
the important stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
There is a cafe owner in Sevilla that is facing
thousands of dollars in damages after customers stated.

Speaker 3 (01:15:52):
A fire started a fire. Oh I read that wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
Uh, after a customer started a fire because he wasn't
given mayonnaise packets.

Speaker 2 (01:16:03):
Oh hey ah yeah, that's not.

Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
Let that one settle in for a little bit over
Mayo package, over Mayo packets. The incident happened on August
twenty first, when the man asked for mayonnaise for a
sandwich but was told they didn't have any, so he
did the only reasonable thing, started a fire and burned
the place down. Now I've thought about that when I
got bad service, I'm like, ah, I'm gonna burn.

Speaker 2 (01:16:26):
It down, but over Mayo packets or any time you Actually.

Speaker 3 (01:16:31):
That was one of those thoughts that he was not acceptable. Yeah, well, yeah,
that was one of those thoughts that should have stayed
inside the hack.

Speaker 2 (01:16:37):
Probably. Yeah, my thought would be maybe I won't come
back here, but.

Speaker 1 (01:16:43):
But there is a happy ending here. Hellman's has offered
to pay the damages.

Speaker 2 (01:16:50):
Oh that's nice.

Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
Helman's the mayonnaise, and I'm sure that place is going
to be stocked with Mayo.

Speaker 2 (01:16:54):
Now that's that was very nice of Helmets.

Speaker 1 (01:16:57):
Although at this point I would just make it a
point and we are no may Oh place like that
is my new marketing tactic.

Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
I'm not giving you mal.

Speaker 2 (01:17:05):
That may not work out well.

Speaker 3 (01:17:07):
Well didn't work out well the first time, so may.

Speaker 2 (01:17:10):
Well Hopefully they will fix the damage. Hopefully the guy
went to prison.

Speaker 5 (01:17:15):
And the best part would be if in the prison
they have no Mayo, that would be the best.

Speaker 1 (01:17:21):
Is it bad that My first thought when I read
this story was thank god it wasn't America.

Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
This is such an American STU.

Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
I've got enough going on.

Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
Thank you, No, we have enough. I'm just so happy
it happened anywhere but here.

Speaker 5 (01:17:36):
Mike and Diane's movie update on ninety five point one.

Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
W a y V. Have you watched a good.

Speaker 5 (01:17:42):
Movie recently, maybe at the theater or at home? Let
us know we can exchange ideas. My hubby and I
watched a movie, Nobody Too, with Bob Odenkirk. He was Saul,
I'm breaking bad and better call Saul. And I don't
know if you've seen the first Nobody movie. Odin Kirk
is an action star. Everybody was surprised when the first

(01:18:03):
one came out and it was so good. So we
just watched the sequel, and the sequel was really good.
I mean to see him do what he does as
an action star, and this one was actually more graphic.
It was one of those where I was like, oh, okay,
I had to look slicing and dicing things and kind
of had to like turn a.

Speaker 2 (01:18:24):
Couple of times, which you know always makes for a
good movie. When I can dig my nails into my
hubby's arm.

Speaker 3 (01:18:29):
You know, I'm listen.

Speaker 6 (01:18:32):
I am.

Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
These are all cool movies and everything. I have not
left the Disney plus app in.

Speaker 3 (01:18:39):
Years.

Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
Okay, so what's the latest Disney.

Speaker 1 (01:18:42):
We are still watching? And I've brought it up on
this show, but we are still still still watching K
Pop Demon Hunters? Oh yeah, it is still on every
day in my house. And I like my friends now
because again, as I've said before, my friends all have
kids that are like a year, two years, three years

(01:19:04):
younger than mine. Like I was first to have kids.
So everything I experience, I experience first, and then it
starts to trickle in gotch. I'm just now getting text Hey,
is anybody heard of this k Pop Demon Hunters?

Speaker 2 (01:19:16):
I'm like Brah, been watching it every day from month.

Speaker 1 (01:19:20):
Enjoy the next three months of your life. Yeah, because
the songs, the songs, let me let me use a
little terms from the younger generations they slap. They are
good songs.

Speaker 2 (01:19:33):
Did you like the movie? The first dozen times you
have to watch it. Is it a good movie?

Speaker 19 (01:19:37):
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:19:38):
The movie's okay, okay, like it's okay, But you're there
for the music, all right, the music is unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (01:19:45):
Let me just tell you.

Speaker 1 (01:19:45):
Let me tell you about Golden We should be playing
that here on a top forty station.

Speaker 2 (01:19:51):
That'll let the bosses know that song slaps. Start using
that it slaps.

Speaker 5 (01:19:58):
Yeah, all right, let us know what your movie slaps
or music talk back on the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
Just tap that red microphone when you're listening to WayV.
You can even make us a pre set. It makes
it so easy. Or of course, give us a call
ninety five.

Speaker 5 (01:20:12):
Point one WayV. It's Mike and Diane with a movie update.
Dave from Ventnor. Have you watched any good movies recently?

Speaker 7 (01:20:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 22 (01:20:22):
I thought the movie of Weapons recently. It was very interesting,
kind of out there, but uh but really good cast,
very suspenseful and indifferent.

Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
I thought, oh, yeah, I did hear that's good weapons.
That's a horror movie, right?

Speaker 3 (01:20:35):
Can I voice my frustration a little bit?

Speaker 2 (01:20:38):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (01:20:38):
These movies that you guys have both said, I missed
the days when I knew every movie that was coming out,
like because they would pump a lot of money into
like marketing, and it was in the theaters.

Speaker 3 (01:20:49):
I kind of missed that.

Speaker 2 (01:20:50):
They still do though. That was a big movie that
was number one when it was out. Weapons.

Speaker 3 (01:20:54):
Sorry, Mike, Yeah, all right, well nobody, let me just
expose myself for being old.

Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
I think he's just missing all the marketing. No, Weapons
was a huge movie.

Speaker 3 (01:21:05):
Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna sit over here and shut up.

Speaker 2 (01:21:08):
He's gonna go back into his Disney plus hole.

Speaker 22 (01:21:12):
There are a lots though, where just where was the
marketing on this said? There's a lot where it's just
where was the marketing on this though? There's a lot
where it's just why did that not getting marketing?

Speaker 11 (01:21:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:21:24):
Yeah, it's I'm still in k pop demon Hunter's line.
So I'm just gonna shut up.

Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
And Weapons. That is horror, right, that's a horror movie.

Speaker 3 (01:21:32):
I have no idea.

Speaker 22 (01:21:33):
I look at more of as a thriller than than
I don't think there was as much gore as like
a horror horror. I think it was more thriller.

Speaker 2 (01:21:41):
Gotcha. There's always that fine line between the thriller in
the in the horror. All right, Dave well, we or
I don't know if Mike.

Speaker 5 (01:21:47):
Will because he's just with that K Pop demon Hunters.
He's too wrapped up.

Speaker 3 (01:21:51):
I'm wrapped up.

Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
I'm waiting to watch Downton Abbey, but I will put
weapons on my list for after that. How's that?

Speaker 16 (01:21:58):
That's great?

Speaker 7 (01:21:59):
I saw Doubt Abby Well, oh how was it?

Speaker 22 (01:22:02):
I liked and I didn't even really see the show.
And because I saw the one before it, this was
like the there was another movie before it. Yes, they
do it in such a way that people haven't seen
the show will be able to piece it together. If
you pay attention, you'll be able to piece together like
the relationships because I didn't even know the connections that
everybody's Okay, that's her husband, and then they're Mary, and

(01:22:22):
that's the daughter.

Speaker 2 (01:22:24):
Oh that's great. Okay, you've got me even more excited.

Speaker 3 (01:22:30):
Dave, you are the.

Speaker 2 (01:22:31):
Caller of the day.

Speaker 22 (01:22:33):
I'm not happy to be a good caller for you.

Speaker 3 (01:22:36):
I'm so disappointed in myself.

Speaker 1 (01:22:40):
It is ninety five point one w A yv's The
Mic and Dight and show. My daughter is obsessed with
the hottest TV show movie on Netflix right now.

Speaker 2 (01:22:51):
The hottest movie on Netflix. Let me sick. I think.

Speaker 3 (01:22:55):
It is taking the world by storm.

Speaker 1 (01:22:57):
It is literally that show that goes on Netflix and
then everyone's talking about it.

Speaker 3 (01:23:02):
It's that show.

Speaker 2 (01:23:03):
Why can't I think of it?

Speaker 3 (01:23:05):
Then it is K pop Demon Hunters.

Speaker 2 (01:23:07):
Oh, I have heard. I didn't know it was on Netflix.
I thought it was in the movie theater.

Speaker 3 (01:23:12):
No, it's a.

Speaker 1 (01:23:12):
Netflix movie, Okay, And they have I mean, I'm gonna
be honest with you, some of the best songs I've
ever heard. Really, Oh, I'm you know what, I'll admit it.
I've listened without my kids. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised
to hear it on the station soon.

Speaker 3 (01:23:30):
Like they're that good.

Speaker 1 (01:23:32):
But it got me thinking, those songs are made for
the movie, right, What are some of the other like
really really really good fake songs we'll call them m
Like I've always thought, like The Wonders, that thing you
Do was.

Speaker 2 (01:23:48):
Always Oh yeah, it wasn't that a Tom Hanks yeah movie?

Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
Yeah, nothing will ever beat the I mean every time
they talk about this, it's like the Goofy movie has
one song in there, Like that's made for the Goofy
movie that everybody still loves. Yeah, SpongeBob has a song
in there that everybody loves. Nothing will ever beat. Scotty
doesn't know.

Speaker 2 (01:24:08):
Scotty doesn't know.

Speaker 1 (01:24:10):
Scotty doesn't know that Fiona and me do it in
my van every Sunday because you don't know that you listen.

Speaker 2 (01:24:18):
Sounds familiar that song.

Speaker 1 (01:24:20):
But so the best part about that is, uh, Matt
Damon sings it. He makes a cameo in euro Trip.

Speaker 3 (01:24:27):
Oh nice, and that is Matt.

Speaker 1 (01:24:29):
Damon singing it. Ah, And that is only because his
college roommate was a director. He did have a favor.
He's like, I'll come out, I'll sing this song. It
is maybe the best song I've ever heard. There's gotta
be more. I love these one off like fake songs.

Speaker 2 (01:24:46):
Yeah, I would have to google because once I hear it,
then I know you'll know. Yeah, this song has been
stuck in my head for three days now. And also
let us know and talk back.

Speaker 3 (01:24:55):
That's where I want to, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:24:57):
Go to talk back. What's the best fake fake song?
I mean it's a real song. You know what I mean,
it's a fake song. Hit us on talkback, open up
the app. We're right there, Hit the little red microphone
and say it to us. You know what, sing it
to us, sing it to us. Half the people just
put their phones down.

Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
We would love that. That would make our day.

Speaker 3 (01:25:18):
Actually, yeah, I just sang to you.

Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
You did. Thank you.

Speaker 5 (01:25:22):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one w A.

Speaker 16 (01:25:26):
Y V.

Speaker 5 (01:25:27):
Will from EHT is looking for a second date update
with a woman named Denise Will.

Speaker 2 (01:25:32):
How are you today?

Speaker 8 (01:25:34):
Yeah? You know it could be better, but that's that's
why I'm here.

Speaker 2 (01:25:36):
Right, Yeah, that's why we're here for you.

Speaker 3 (01:25:39):
Right, don't say it like that, Oh I must, We didn't.
We didn't hear why yet?

Speaker 5 (01:25:45):
So will please tell us about Denise and your first
date and then we'll take it from there.

Speaker 11 (01:25:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:25:50):
No, I mean it was a pretty typical first date,
like dinner, a nice dinner, and then we got ice
cream afterwards. Everything seemed like it was going really well,
or I would say even like it went really well.
But then i've been you know, on this side of it,

(01:26:12):
I've left with nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:26:16):
You haven't heard anything after that day because it sounded
pretty good.

Speaker 8 (01:26:19):
To me, Yeah right, I mean like simple but good.
But yeah, I know I haven't heard anything, and I
just I'm trying. I'm tired of not knowing, well, I
you know what I mean. It's like, yeah, it's not
the first time I've been ghosted in my life. I'm
I don't know. I feel like I deserve to know
why you weren't.

Speaker 3 (01:26:39):
Yeah, you poor thing.

Speaker 2 (01:26:40):
There could be a million reasons.

Speaker 5 (01:26:42):
Yeah, when you make it to ice cream, that's usually
a good sign, but not in this case. I guess
unless she's lactose intolerant like Mike. But I guess we'll
find out when we call her.

Speaker 8 (01:26:52):
That'd be a weird thing to not mention.

Speaker 2 (01:26:54):
That would be you're you're right, Okay, let's mark that
one off the list. It probably is not that.

Speaker 5 (01:26:59):
So what we'll do, Will, is put you on hold,
play a song, and we'll try to get Denise on
the phone and get some answers. And that is coming
up next on ninety five point one WayV. Ninety five
point one WayV. It's Mike and Diane's second date update.
A few minutes ago, Will told us about his first
date with Denise. Sounded like a nice date. They had dinner,

(01:27:21):
they had ice cream after the dinner. Everything seemed to
go well. But Will has not heard anything from Denise.
No idea why so Will. We're getting to it right now,
here we go.

Speaker 3 (01:27:31):
Yep, let's do it.

Speaker 2 (01:27:33):
Get ready?

Speaker 9 (01:27:43):
Hello? Hi?

Speaker 2 (01:27:44):
Is this Denise?

Speaker 5 (01:27:46):
Yes, Hey Denise, it's morning radio people, Mike and Diane
from ninety five point one WayV.

Speaker 2 (01:27:52):
How are you?

Speaker 13 (01:27:55):
I'm okay?

Speaker 9 (01:27:57):
Are you doing well?

Speaker 5 (01:27:59):
I was just wondering if you have a couple of
minutes because we got a call on our radio show
from a guy named Will.

Speaker 2 (01:28:05):
Does that sound familiar?

Speaker 23 (01:28:09):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:28:09):
Okay, good, that's a good first step. Will was telling
us that he went on a date with you. He
enjoyed the date, I can tell you that much.

Speaker 5 (01:28:17):
He was telling us she went out, You've had some dinner,
some ice cream, and he just never heard of anything
from you after, and it's driving him crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:28:27):
As you can imagine. He just wants to know why
was there something he didn't notice? A red flag? So
on his behalf of trying to get some answer, So
would you mind telling us about how your experience was
on the date.

Speaker 13 (01:28:41):
So he's really nice and sweet. I just I'm not
really feeling it. I just don't think we're.

Speaker 2 (01:28:50):
Not compatible.

Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
Okay, here's the beautiful thing. We never just accept that
we do not, So get going.

Speaker 13 (01:28:58):
Why please tell what was it, To be honest, I
can't really put my finger on it, Like just something
was off, like with him, I like we had a
lovely time, and like he was sweet on the phone
when we first spoke, and then when I showed up,
like he was just completely dressed in the nines, like

(01:29:19):
really really really sharp, And I don't know, the image
that I had on the phone of him when we
spoke just didn't match when I met him in person
like this, heused to be like a disconnect. I don't
know if he was playing a character.

Speaker 11 (01:29:30):
I don't.

Speaker 16 (01:29:31):
I'm just it fell off.

Speaker 13 (01:29:33):
I can't.

Speaker 12 (01:29:33):
I don't know, he didn't.

Speaker 13 (01:29:34):
It wasn't like a genuine vibe, I guess, And it's
not the personality thought that I was getting into. But like, okay,
any regardless of that, dinner was nice. It was a
flowy conversation. And then when the bill came and he
paid the like a gentleman like. So the bill was
I don't know, like one hundred and ten dollars or
something like that. I wasn't exactly paying attention but like

(01:29:57):
to the full amount, but I noticed that he paid
with two very crisp one hundred dollar bills and then
and he got the change, and it was like plenty
of change, like a lot of change, like a decent
amount of change, and and he left a tip I
don't know how much. Then after that we went and
we got ice cream, and then like the person was like, okay,

(01:30:18):
twelve dollars. So instead of like with the change that
I know that he got, he broke out another Crisp
one hundred dollar bill.

Speaker 9 (01:30:28):
And I don't know why.

Speaker 13 (01:30:29):
That felt like weird to me, Like he was just
like showing off all of these Crisp one hundred dollars bills.
I don't know, it felt shady.

Speaker 11 (01:30:36):
I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 13 (01:30:38):
Something was just off and I just wasn't feeling it.
That's I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:30:41):
It wasn't that. It definitely wasn't that.

Speaker 2 (01:30:43):
Oh yeah, by the way, he's been listening in Hey
Will Will, she thinks it's shady. I rarely have one
hundred dollars bill, but the fact that you had three, that's, hey,
good for you, I guess.

Speaker 8 (01:31:00):
I mean, it's not that exciting with story. I got
some birthday money from my grandmother and I was trying
to get rid of the big bills.

Speaker 2 (01:31:10):
Uh, you got well, happy belated birthday.

Speaker 1 (01:31:13):
First of all, First, second of all, why would you
want to get rid of the big bills? Now you
get a lot of singles, feel rich and it's like
thirty eight dollars because.

Speaker 8 (01:31:20):
It feels weird. I mean, you guys are just saying it.
I feel it too. It's weird to have one hundred
dollars bills. Like I don't really like it. It's like
too big of a piece of paper, you know what
I mean, It's too much value in a little piece
of paper. I'd rather have smaller bills.

Speaker 2 (01:31:33):
I mean, I do agree that that.

Speaker 5 (01:31:35):
Our old boss used to give us one hundred dollars
bill for Christmas. And I used to think, all right,
where am I going to break this? Maybe gas station
or whatever?

Speaker 3 (01:31:44):
Are they gonnat?

Speaker 2 (01:31:45):
Are they going to mark it up with the pen?
And look give me the side eye.

Speaker 1 (01:31:51):
I get hundreds from the bank before, and I've been
nervous using the bank hundreds. When then you start using
the pen.

Speaker 2 (01:31:59):
Yeah, I explain this, I know, because you got to
the bank. But I guess I can see where she
would think that maybe you were trying to impress her.
Does that make sense now that you hear it that
you go for ice creaming like the outfit.

Speaker 8 (01:32:12):
I was trying to impress it, like there's no getting
her out that. I was just trying to be like,
let me be the most spiffy version of myself.

Speaker 3 (01:32:20):
But I see you wearing a tux and her wearing
like jeans.

Speaker 2 (01:32:24):
Yeah, she thought it was a casual date.

Speaker 8 (01:32:26):
That's a tucks But it was like I was wearing
a suit. But I didn't come in.

Speaker 2 (01:32:34):
The best dressed man at the ice cream shop. I
can tell you, well, your grandma sounds very sweet by
the way to give you hundreds.

Speaker 8 (01:32:43):
It was very kind of her, Yes, very kind of her.

Speaker 2 (01:32:46):
Really nice. Now does that make you think differently, Denise,
that you know Granny gave him the hundreds?

Speaker 13 (01:32:53):
Yeah, definitely, especially the way he just you know, he
was trying to make a good impression. I take I
misread the situation. That absolutely changes how my assumption. Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 5 (01:33:05):
Oh good, So let me ask the question, Oh yeah,
let me do it. Will if Denise would say yes,
would you want a second date? It would be on
us And just as you know, because we're jokes as
around here, we probably will pay with one hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:33:20):
That's all we have to the budget though, one hundred.
That's it.

Speaker 8 (01:33:23):
I just would like, like, if something did not go right,
or if I'm doing something weird, just tell me, like,
I don't want to get into this situation a second time.
Not that you guys aren't helping a lot and it's great,
but I'm just saying.

Speaker 2 (01:33:38):
I could see that point, and we take no offense
to that. Denise. Could you can you see his point
that if there was something else, just communicate, Oh.

Speaker 13 (01:33:47):
For sure, I can hold my hands up. I'm accountable
for sure.

Speaker 9 (01:33:50):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:33:52):
Is that a yes?

Speaker 3 (01:33:52):
Then to a second dates?

Speaker 2 (01:33:54):
A yes, Denise? Yes for me? Yeah, definitely for me.

Speaker 3 (01:33:59):
Yeah, this wedding is gonna be sick.

Speaker 2 (01:34:02):
We did it. Definitely, keep us updated and good luck
on your second.

Speaker 8 (01:34:09):
Date, right, thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:34:11):
I think my kids do too much. It's ninety five
point one WayV. I feel like I've complained about this before,
and uh, parents of younger kids, I think we all agree.
They're just we we it's not about the money, it's
about the focus and the time spent doing things. Like
my son over the summer, we really only do one

(01:34:35):
thing baseball. Right fall comes around, my son's doing three
or four things. Gymnastics, karate, baseball, still soccer. Now my
daughter she's on a competitive gymnastics team, which is three
days a week for three hours. She's also doing soccer,
and she's doing t ball, fall ball. I just think

(01:34:58):
we're doing too much. We have something lit Oh by
the way.

Speaker 2 (01:35:01):
School, Oh yeah, don't forget about that.

Speaker 1 (01:35:04):
So like they'll come home from school and they get
they have like the later school in the district, so
they'll get home at like three forty five and I'm like,
all right, in the car, we got to go. Like
there's no time to like decompress. So how am I
going to start cutting things? Because they don't want to
stop anything, but they want to stop something. Yeah, my
wallet would enjoy stopping something.

Speaker 2 (01:35:25):
I know it does get expensive. I've heard other parents
in the neighborhood. They're not complaining, they're just giving us
their schedule and our heads are spinning, yeah, because we're
not used to it. But somehow, some way, it gets done.

Speaker 5 (01:35:37):
And I don't know if your kids will be like
my sister and I we would start dropping off different
as we go. We're like, yeah, I mean, you don't
really like this, but we'll keep gymnastics and you know.

Speaker 2 (01:35:48):
It, it gets to be lost it.

Speaker 1 (01:35:49):
It's the point that me and my wife have to
divide and conquer, like to get them everywhere they have
to be. And now I don't see my wife until
like seven thirty at night every night. And then at
the same point we've talked about on this show, my
wife may not be feeling the best right now, like
not great, we're not a great spot. But she's out

(01:36:10):
there still driving the kids around, sitting at the practices,
waiting and dealing with it.

Speaker 3 (01:36:16):
And I would like to do how do I stop
doing something?

Speaker 2 (01:36:19):
Maybe you could just have them pick one that they like,
get out of list everything, get out of here with that. Nah,
you just have to suck it up and do it.

Speaker 3 (01:36:27):
I think we have to suck it up.

Speaker 1 (01:36:29):
Saw. I saw something somebody says, like, you have seven
you have six summers, seven summers where you're insanely busy,
six years, seven years where everything is a blur, and
then it's just over and you're like, oh, I wish
I could.

Speaker 3 (01:36:43):
Go back to that.

Speaker 2 (01:36:43):
You miss A lot of parents say they miss it.

Speaker 1 (01:36:45):
Yeah, So I think I'm going to go back to
just complaining about it, but not actually complaining.

Speaker 3 (01:36:50):
Pretty much. My entire career.

Speaker 1 (01:36:52):
My entire career is made of me complaining about things
that I don't actually care about.

Speaker 3 (01:36:57):
Right outside of my mother in law. That is true.

Speaker 1 (01:37:00):
Everything I ever complained about on this show. Yes, about
my mother in law is real, real from.

Speaker 3 (01:37:05):
The gut chronicles of the mother in law. She's still here, by.

Speaker 2 (01:37:09):
The way, maybe she can help out with these activities.

Speaker 3 (01:37:12):
She doesn't.

Speaker 1 (01:37:13):
Oh, she magically always has to go visit a friend
while we need help. Takes a village yep, yep, and
our village is a social butterfly.

Speaker 2 (01:37:23):
Huh.

Speaker 5 (01:37:24):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one WayV. Kyle from Ventnor is looking for a second
date update with a woman named Tina.

Speaker 2 (01:37:33):
Good morning, Kyle.

Speaker 16 (01:37:36):
Good morning guys. How's it going all right?

Speaker 2 (01:37:38):
How's it going with you?

Speaker 11 (01:37:40):
Oh?

Speaker 16 (01:37:41):
It's always always going well, I suppose, but then again.

Speaker 2 (01:37:45):
It's always something right yep?

Speaker 5 (01:37:48):
Man, Well that's something sounds like a first date, So
please tell us about Tina and your first date.

Speaker 16 (01:37:56):
Yeah, so I'm at Tina online. Thing seemed fairly normal.
We were having good conversation and so we just decided
to to you know, I guess start things a little slow,
but reasonable, and I was like, I want to go
out and get some coffee, you know, because it's always
nice to start with coffee and then say it goes well.

(01:38:17):
It's like turn it into maybe lunch or dinner drinks.

Speaker 3 (01:38:23):
I love this mentality.

Speaker 1 (01:38:25):
Yeah, let's start with coffee because it's what you have
first thing in the morning, and it's the first thing
of the relationship. Maybe maybe maybe maybe we're here so
that clearly coffee went bad. Clearly something happened there.

Speaker 2 (01:38:38):
But less pressure, then it's fancy, all right.

Speaker 16 (01:38:43):
Okay, So I mean, well, so I don't know. I
guess I thought it went pretty.

Speaker 8 (01:38:49):
Well, but.

Speaker 16 (01:38:51):
You know, were sad. We were chatting. Everything seems great,
but it's been I don't know.

Speaker 14 (01:38:57):
I guess it's been a week now and I just
haven't haven't heard back from Tina at all.

Speaker 5 (01:39:01):
Oh that is frustrating, okay, because it sounds like, oh,
did you guys discuss a second date or.

Speaker 1 (01:39:08):
It just you just kept it casual, good conversation piece. Dianne,
thank you well.

Speaker 16 (01:39:15):
I did bring it up.

Speaker 11 (01:39:16):
You did. I mentioned that.

Speaker 16 (01:39:17):
I was like, yeah, I was like, you know, this
seems like it's going nicely.

Speaker 8 (01:39:21):
I'd like to see you again, and.

Speaker 1 (01:39:22):
She was like yeah, and uh, just like that, you
know what was it?

Speaker 9 (01:39:27):
Just like that?

Speaker 2 (01:39:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:39:29):
Yeah, yeah. Listen like like my son says you're cooked, Well.

Speaker 2 (01:39:37):
Let's find out if he's cooked.

Speaker 5 (01:39:39):
What we'll do, uh, Kyle, is we will put you
on hold, we'll play a song, and we'll try to
get Tina on the phone at least try to get
some answers. And that's coming up next. On ninety five
point one w A y V. Ninety five point one
w A YV. It's Mike and Diane's second date update.
A few minutes ago, Kyle told us about his first
date with Tina. Casual coffee date. Good conversation seemed to

(01:40:02):
go well. But Kyle, you haven't heard anything back from
Tina after that first date.

Speaker 8 (01:40:08):
I haven't n she she I best started a couple
of times, but she hasn't hasn't messaged me back or
called me back.

Speaker 2 (01:40:14):
Okay, that's why we're here, so let's get right to it.
Try to find out what's going on for you. Kyle. Hello, Hello,
is this Tina?

Speaker 13 (01:40:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:40:31):
Great, It's Mike and Diane. On ninety five point one.

Speaker 3 (01:40:34):
W A y V Radio I'm here too.

Speaker 8 (01:40:36):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (01:40:37):
Yeah, there's Mike, my co host.

Speaker 3 (01:40:39):
I don't know if you heard me laugh. It's only
because the way Diane was like, great.

Speaker 2 (01:40:42):
Great, great, there you answered, Yeah, you didn't block us.

Speaker 1 (01:40:47):
There's a lot of behind the behind the scenes stuff
that makes me laugh when Divan says like, oh awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:40:52):
Okay, Sick.

Speaker 2 (01:40:54):
We're just happy that you're putting up with us and
hanging in there on the phone. But we do have
a reason for calling, believe it or not.

Speaker 5 (01:41:01):
We got a call from one of our radio family members, Kyle,
and I'm sure that sounds for his name sounds familiar
to you, and he was telling us that he went
on a date with you. Kyle had a great time
on the date, and he just doesn't understand why he's
not hearing back from you. So we were just wondering
if you could let us know your side and give
us some answers at least please.

Speaker 24 (01:41:25):
Well, Kyle's nice, sweet.

Speaker 25 (01:41:29):
Whatever the date was, you know it was, it was
a casual coffee date. I mean, I thought he was fine,
but when I got to the coffee shop I had,
he was really excited to take me to this one
in particular cafe and you know I love coffee, So
I ordered an old milk latte and I was just

(01:41:53):
really excited. I mean, it's just like a classic, and
I ordered it. But then I could feel his like.

Speaker 24 (01:41:58):
Energy change, and then the entire date, he was just
telling me how bad my choice of drink was and
how black coffee was the best, and how he you know,
how I was killing myself with all the sugars and
all the extra things the coffee and I need it
to just go natural and have black coffee, and YadA,

(01:42:20):
YadA YadA, and just.

Speaker 21 (01:42:21):
Went on and on and on, and I was just like, Wow.

Speaker 15 (01:42:24):
This guy is annoying.

Speaker 1 (01:42:27):
Yeah, that sounds annoying. Secondly, did he hear your order?
Didn't you say oat.

Speaker 3 (01:42:32):
Milk like that?

Speaker 2 (01:42:36):
Not that bad oat milk latt Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:42:39):
Whatever, who cares?

Speaker 2 (01:42:41):
It's exactly not as bad as my hot chocolate.

Speaker 1 (01:42:43):
Yeah, not as bad as the pumpkin spice Lotte with
extra frost. I have to order half the bed exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:42:51):
Well, we need to find out about this drink judging,
because Kyle has been listening in Kyle, have you had
your black coffee today yet?

Speaker 8 (01:43:03):
I honestly I have it all set up and this
is kind of a bummer to hear.

Speaker 14 (01:43:09):
I guess I'm really sorry. I didn't realize that I
was being like an evangelical I was.

Speaker 8 (01:43:16):
I didn't realize that I was being so I guess
I just.

Speaker 14 (01:43:24):
I'd love it black coffee so much.

Speaker 2 (01:43:27):
Kyle.

Speaker 3 (01:43:28):
I'm gonna be honest with you.

Speaker 11 (01:43:28):
I've been.

Speaker 3 (01:43:29):
I've been exactly in your shoes. No, but like in
the like I have no words for, like how stupid.

Speaker 5 (01:43:34):
I just want Oh, I thought you were judged by
your coffee order, because I've never done that to you. No, no, no, no, no,
I would be the last one to do that. I
mean it was it just kind of you felt it
was more casual conversation. But maybe she felt judged, Tina,
that sounds like how you felt.

Speaker 25 (01:43:52):
Yes, I don't know why I said, yeah, you know, yeah,
just it just got it just got so repetitive after
a while, and I was like, Okay, cool, if you.

Speaker 24 (01:44:02):
Want to find anything else, and you know, he just
kept he kept harping on it.

Speaker 5 (01:44:08):
Okay, Well maybe we can turn this around. Hey, guys,
it is it is just a coffee order. There are
you know more things you look at? Are you nice people?
Were you attracted to each other and there was something
you hit it off. He met online and you talked exactly.
So let's try to turn this around. Kyle, you're the
one who called us. Would you want a second date

(01:44:30):
if it would be on us? But it would not
be a coffee date.

Speaker 2 (01:44:33):
That's for sure. We need to we need to branch
out in life.

Speaker 3 (01:44:37):
God imagine his stance on like steak, how she orders
her It's got.

Speaker 5 (01:44:42):
To help you if you order it well done, or
if she orders an espresso martini. But Kyle, would you
say yes to a second date?

Speaker 14 (01:44:52):
Well, I definitely would, and definitely not coffee. And you know,
stay away from the caffeine on the front end because
I feel like the caffeine just as you go in,
you start talking before you know it.

Speaker 7 (01:45:03):
You know, you just sometimes can get yourself.

Speaker 14 (01:45:05):
You know, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 7 (01:45:06):
Would you go out with me again?

Speaker 2 (01:45:09):
I'm just in my head, I'm picturing I'm hearing the
blame it on the changing it to blame it on
the ca halfeen.

Speaker 3 (01:45:17):
I just like that.

Speaker 1 (01:45:18):
He's the first person in the years that we've done
this to actually just ask her, Hey, you go back
out with me?

Speaker 2 (01:45:24):
Thank you for doing my job. I appreciate it, Tina,
what do you think?

Speaker 13 (01:45:31):
Yeah, I will be open to it.

Speaker 25 (01:45:33):
Just you know, you can be passionate about a beverage.

Speaker 13 (01:45:37):
But calm down, all right, we'll take it.

Speaker 3 (01:45:40):
We'll take where we can go, Yes, we can.

Speaker 2 (01:45:43):
Well, good luck to both of you.

Speaker 7 (01:45:46):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (01:45:47):
Once in a while, we try to give advice on
the Mike and Diane Show on ninety five point one
way v Mike, another one of our radio family members
asked us for advice, or more likely our radio family
giving that person advice. Yeah, so here's the email. Hi,
Mike and Diane love your show. Really need advice from

(01:46:07):
you and your listeners. I need to remain anonymous and
you'll understand. Here's my dilemma. I just moved in with
a new roommate and found out that her boyfriend is
someone I hooked up with a couple of times a
while back. The awkward part is when he saw me,
he acted like we've never metten normal.

Speaker 2 (01:46:26):
My roommate clearly has no idea, and now I feel
like I'm living with this huge secret. Do I tell
her what happened, confront him, or let it go and
hope it never comes up. Thanks? To you and your
listeners in advance for the advice. I'll be listening, So
we need to help out anonymous with this.

Speaker 3 (01:46:43):
Well, that is all I'm dying. I want to I
want I want to give all my thoughts. I'm dying.

Speaker 2 (01:46:49):
Should we wait until we get some of our radio
family members chiming in, Yeah, I'm dying because we need
to know what is the advice?

Speaker 5 (01:46:58):
Should you just rip off the banda tell her? Should
she tell her roommate listen, I hooked up with this guy?
Should she confront the guy first, talk to him about it,
or just let it go? They are the options.

Speaker 3 (01:47:09):
The word confronts is very bad, bad, bad bad.

Speaker 5 (01:47:14):
So talk back on the free iHeartRadio app is your
direct line to the studio. Just tap that little red
microphone when you're listening to WayV on the app, or
give us a call ninety five point one WayV.

Speaker 2 (01:47:27):
It's Mike and Diane trying to give some advice as
best we can and also lean on our radio family members.

Speaker 5 (01:47:33):
One of our listeners said that she moved in with
a new roommate, found that she had hooked up with
the boyfriend of the roommate.

Speaker 2 (01:47:39):
He acted like he didn't know her, and now she
doesn't know what to do. Abdy from Northfield, do you
have any advice?

Speaker 12 (01:47:47):
Honestly, I would say this one, she should just let
it slide. Like you know, sometimes there's circumstances where something
happened that was like so bad that it really needs
to be told because you know, maybe it's like a
red flag for the current relationship. But like I would
just say, with this, it's just go awkward and like

(01:48:08):
you know, he's pretending whatever, like he doesn't know her. Anyway,
I would just I would just pretend like nothing ever happened.

Speaker 19 (01:48:15):
Honestly, just let it, just let it go.

Speaker 2 (01:48:18):
I worry though if she finds out. I feel like
someday she's going to find out, and who can and
then it's so far over.

Speaker 3 (01:48:26):
I didn't even think about it.

Speaker 2 (01:48:27):
Anyway, you say, let it go.

Speaker 16 (01:48:29):
Let it.

Speaker 3 (01:48:30):
She talked about confronting the guy that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:48:35):
I mean, that's harsh. Yeah, confronts is a tough word.

Speaker 1 (01:48:40):
But stop saying the word hook up. We went on
a few dates. Hookup is as harsh as a guest
talking about it.

Speaker 2 (01:48:49):
She said, hooked up a couple of times.

Speaker 3 (01:48:51):
You went on a few dates and that you did.

Speaker 2 (01:48:53):
You never know, even on when you're watching a Love
Island with hookup means, you.

Speaker 3 (01:48:58):
Know what hookup means. Just like stop saying hook up,
you went on some you had a chat.

Speaker 1 (01:49:06):
I'm not sure front this guy, This poor guy, his
nightmare has come full circle. He's in a nightmare situation.

Speaker 3 (01:49:16):
Stop stop it.

Speaker 2 (01:49:17):
It is awkward, So let it go. Okay, we've got
two votes for let it go again. I'm just in
the back of my mind. I'm just a little worried
that it's going to come up at some point and
that she's going to feel like the two of them lie, why.

Speaker 3 (01:49:28):
Is it gonna come up? It's not gonna come up.

Speaker 2 (01:49:31):
You never know.

Speaker 3 (01:49:32):
If it comes up.

Speaker 1 (01:49:33):
Somebody's a bad friend, either a bad boyfriend or a
bad friend. Why would you tell them this?

Speaker 2 (01:49:39):
Uh, well, you're hiding it from her, But why are you.

Speaker 3 (01:49:42):
Gonna tell them? Yeah, in what world is that an
important piece of information?

Speaker 2 (01:49:47):
Okay, that's why we're trying to help her out.

Speaker 3 (01:49:49):
I'm horrible that I'm terrible at this, but this feels
very obvious to me. I'm also an avoid person. I
avoid all conflicts.

Speaker 2 (01:49:58):
So we've got to let it go.

Speaker 5 (01:50:00):
I'm going to place my vote for she should mention it.
She should just rip off the band aids.

Speaker 3 (01:50:05):
Say to mention. You don't just mention this at coffee.

Speaker 2 (01:50:08):
Say it wasn't it wasn't anything big.

Speaker 5 (01:50:11):
You know, hooked up a couple of times, and you know,
he maybe he didn't even recognize.

Speaker 2 (01:50:16):
Me because she comes up.

Speaker 3 (01:50:17):
I ever let him. Hey, wait at the apartment for me.
I just got to run to the store.

Speaker 1 (01:50:21):
That will never happen after you have that conversation, and
now life has gotten way harder.

Speaker 2 (01:50:26):
All right, Well, now she knows, So there you go.
I think maybe we helped out a little bit. What
do you think, Abby, Yeah, I mean I don't know.

Speaker 12 (01:50:37):
I I kind of I still think it's easier just
just presently that's never happened.

Speaker 9 (01:50:42):
But you know, it's true.

Speaker 23 (01:50:43):
Honesty.

Speaker 12 (01:50:44):
Honesty is always a good policy.

Speaker 2 (01:50:46):
So oh, maybe if it's only one year least two,
we can get through that one year. Maybe she should
let me go.

Speaker 1 (01:50:52):
Yeah, hopefully they move in together. Be like after you're
be like, you guys are doing great. I'm gonna move
out so he can move in.

Speaker 2 (01:51:00):
Invite me to the wedding.

Speaker 1 (01:51:01):
No, don't, I don't need I don't need to be
at a wedding where I almost I you almost had
the best clip ever. I almost just said I don't
need to be at a wedding where I slept with
the groom. And now that's my voice and I said
it anyway, and now that's recorded.

Speaker 2 (01:51:15):
There you go, all right, thank you, Thanks Abby.

Speaker 3 (01:51:19):
Not my first room. It is ninety five point one
w A y V. Good morning.

Speaker 1 (01:51:25):
It's the Mike and Diane Show. I don't know why
I started thinking about this, but everybody seems to have it.
That dream retirement job. Do you have a dream retirement job?

Speaker 2 (01:51:38):
Yes? I do.

Speaker 1 (01:51:39):
What are you going to do when you retire for
that minimum wage that we all tend to like fight for.

Speaker 5 (01:51:45):
I talk about this all the time with my husband
and friends. I am going to work at the Hallmark store.
That is my dream retirement job.

Speaker 3 (01:51:54):
So we're going in retail.

Speaker 2 (01:51:55):
Work no now, no, no, just the Hallmark store.

Speaker 3 (01:51:58):
That's it fair, Okay, yeah, no, the other.

Speaker 2 (01:52:00):
Store will do. Just Hallmark, thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:52:02):
I'm shooting a little higher. I don't know why I thought, Hey.

Speaker 2 (01:52:05):
You can't get any higher than Hallmark Store.

Speaker 3 (01:52:07):
I want to drive. I want to drive the boats
at Disney.

Speaker 2 (01:52:11):
Okay, that's cool.

Speaker 3 (01:52:12):
I would love to do that.

Speaker 1 (01:52:13):
I'm not I don't drive boats, but if I did,
I want to do it for Disney, driving people from
the hotels over to Magic Kingdom.

Speaker 2 (01:52:21):
That sounds like fun. Maybe that's a little more of
the minimum wage, is it.

Speaker 3 (01:52:25):
Yeah, you need to be a captain. Ah, yeah, I'm
not that. I'm not that at all. Okay, maybe monorail driver.

Speaker 2 (01:52:31):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (01:52:32):
No, I want to be on the boats. I want
to whip that thing around. That's what I want to do.

Speaker 2 (01:52:36):
Well, start start practicing now, I guess, and get your
captain's license.

Speaker 3 (01:52:41):
Yeah, no, I got I got jobs.

Speaker 2 (01:52:43):
He'll end up on below deck, I know.

Speaker 1 (01:52:45):
Like I don't want to get do all that work
and then end up at like you know, Universal, Like
that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:52:51):
I think everybody has that dream job, though my neighbor
has the same one with the Hallmark store. Just anywhere
that's fun and light and none seems to be non stressful.

Speaker 3 (01:53:01):
Yeah, yeah, that's true. What is yours?

Speaker 1 (01:53:03):
Four eight four w A WAYYV is our number or
hit us up on talkback right on the app. It
is ninety five point one way V, Mike and NN
waking up with you in the morning. We're talking retirement
jobs because apparently all of us are looking ahead to
the future and going, I don't want to do what
I'm doing now.

Speaker 2 (01:53:19):
And we want less stress and we want less although
we're not stressed right now, but you know, you get it.
We get up early.

Speaker 3 (01:53:25):
Yeah. I guarantee some people's dream job is what we're doing. Amanda.
Amanda's on the line, she has a retirement job for us.

Speaker 9 (01:53:32):
What you got, Hi, So I would.

Speaker 21 (01:53:36):
Love to just sit and like paint and do pottery
or like one work like jewelry making. Even that would
be so relaxing and fun.

Speaker 3 (01:53:46):
But then how are you going to sell it? Then
you have to sit there and sell it.

Speaker 18 (01:53:50):
I get yeah.

Speaker 21 (01:53:51):
I guess I could sell it at like local farmers'
markets or like local just local markets.

Speaker 3 (01:53:56):
Yeah, yeah, okay, I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (01:53:58):
I like it. It does sound relaxing.

Speaker 5 (01:54:01):
You can put some of them online, although then that's
causing you work to do that kind of fulfillment. I
like the farmer's market type vibe instead of selling online.

Speaker 9 (01:54:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think that would be good.

Speaker 3 (01:54:15):
Well, little community thing, I get you.

Speaker 5 (01:54:16):
Yeah, I think we'll buy some of your pieces, Amanda
when you retire, well, I'll.

Speaker 3 (01:54:21):
Right you guys know when that happens, we do thank
you Amanda.

Speaker 5 (01:54:25):
Oh you know what, bring Amanda stuff into the Hallmark
store where I'll be working, and maybe we can sell
them there.

Speaker 3 (01:54:31):
And I can ship it to you on my boat.

Speaker 2 (01:54:33):
Exactly. This is working out perfectly.

Speaker 1 (01:54:36):
It's ninety five point one WayV Mike and Diane waking
up with you and Diane. I think we're gonna have
to say goodbye to something that's been with us the
entire length of our relationship of doing this show together.

Speaker 2 (01:54:50):
Would that be the old rotary phone over there in
the corner?

Speaker 1 (01:54:53):
No, that stays Oh okay. The best part is that
doesn't even have our station on it. It has a
different station, so I don't know where, and it's it's
not even a station that we own.

Speaker 2 (01:55:01):
I would just miss that phone. But okay, so we
need to get rid of something else.

Speaker 3 (01:55:06):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:55:06):
Have you noticed the fact that I'm sitting chest height
to the desk. The seat broke?

Speaker 2 (01:55:13):
Oh look small over there?

Speaker 1 (01:55:15):
Yeah, I look like I am like when you put
your kid at the desk at your desk and they're
just so little and their arms are. My elbows are
up to my shoulders right now. Like I, it's a
whole different perspective. Have you ever stood on a chair
and been like, oh, this is what tall people say. Yes,
so I'm doing that, and I'm like, oh, this is

(01:55:36):
what tiny people say.

Speaker 2 (01:55:37):
Maybe that's a nice perspective. This is what's low.

Speaker 1 (01:55:41):
I don't like looking up at things like I've spent
what eleven years now looking down at this board and
the screens. Now I'm looking up on it. It's a
whole different perspective, and I kind of hate it.

Speaker 3 (01:55:51):
So to your comfort zone, rest in peace. To this chair.

Speaker 2 (01:55:54):
We need a new chair. You can if you want to.

Speaker 1 (01:55:58):
I might go just switch it with the guys across
the Oh, okay, I just let that chaos happen.

Speaker 2 (01:56:05):
That's a good idea.

Speaker 1 (01:56:06):
Let's see what happened, because I don't think they saw
that this is broken yet, so I might just let
it fly.

Speaker 5 (01:56:11):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one w A YV. Ryan is looking for second date
update with a woman named Tiffany Ryan.

Speaker 3 (01:56:20):
How are you today, Hey, what's up?

Speaker 23 (01:56:25):
Well?

Speaker 19 (01:56:25):
I'm doing okay, I guess right, sounds.

Speaker 2 (01:56:27):
Like you need our help big time.

Speaker 5 (01:56:29):
So I can hear it in your voice, Ryan, So
please tell us about Tiffany and your first date.

Speaker 7 (01:56:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 19 (01:56:36):
So Tiffany and I went out last week and.

Speaker 7 (01:56:40):
I thought it was great.

Speaker 19 (01:56:41):
I mean, we had a great time. We picked her up,
we went to dinner, and I just had a good
conversation and just thought she was really beautiful and it
seems like the vibe was really mutual, and you know,
and then I just drove her home and dropped her off.
And I don't really understand why should not calling it back?

Speaker 2 (01:57:01):
H No red flags. In the moment, everything seemed okay.

Speaker 19 (01:57:07):
No, I mean, like really really smooth across the board.

Speaker 2 (01:57:12):
Wow, I'm curious. How about you, Mike, No, I got nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:57:16):
There's nothing going on in between my ears right now.

Speaker 2 (01:57:18):
We need to we need more to work with. I
have no idea.

Speaker 5 (01:57:21):
So what we'll do, Ryan is put you on hold,
play a song, try to get Tiffany on the phone,
and get some answers for you, because I'm sure it's
driving you crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:57:29):
And that is coming up next.

Speaker 5 (01:57:31):
Ninety five point one w A y V ninety five
point one way V. It's Mike and Diane's second date update.
A few minutes ago, Ryan told us about his first
day with Tiffany that everything went well.

Speaker 3 (01:57:44):
They always say that, Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 2 (01:57:46):
Didn't see any red flags, So we need to get
right to it. Ryan. We're giving Tiffany a call here
and try to help you out.

Speaker 19 (01:58:01):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (01:58:02):
Hi, is this Tiffany?

Speaker 11 (01:58:04):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:58:04):
Who is this?

Speaker 5 (01:58:05):
Heay, it's Mike and Diane from ninety five point one
WayV Radio from a morning show.

Speaker 2 (01:58:11):
There's my co host me, Mike. I know a little strange,
but yeah, we were just wondering high there.

Speaker 5 (01:58:19):
We're just wondering if you had a few minutes we
got a call from our radio family member Ryan.

Speaker 2 (01:58:25):
Sounds familiar, right, yep? Yeah, okay, good.

Speaker 5 (01:58:31):
And Ryan was telling us he went on a date
with you. He enjoyed the date, obviously because he wouldn't
be calling us if not.

Speaker 2 (01:58:39):
And he's just wondering why he hasn't heard anything from you.

Speaker 5 (01:58:42):
He really can't figure anything out, so on his behalf,
we're just trying to get some answers.

Speaker 2 (01:58:46):
So would you mind telling us please?

Speaker 14 (01:58:50):
Yeah, thank thank you?

Speaker 24 (01:58:53):
Yes.

Speaker 21 (01:58:54):
So we Yeah, we did go out. He insisted on
picking me up, which initially I felt kind of weird
about because I was like, well, I'd rather drop myself,
especially in the first day you never know, like cards
of strangers and stuff. But I thought it was sweet,
So what the heck I and I.

Speaker 1 (01:59:13):
Go ahead, Sorry, that's me jump. You're like, oh, I'm
really nervous to get in a car with somebody. But
it was sweet too, who cares, let's go.

Speaker 2 (01:59:20):
I know.

Speaker 21 (01:59:21):
Yeah, But I was like, you know, I'm open minded too.
I was like, let's you know, he seemed really nice,
so like, okay, I say a prayer, Well we'll be
get So I get in the car and there's this
podcast on and like he doesn't really say anything to me,
and I'm like listening to this podcast and it's on

(01:59:42):
conspiracy theories, which like it wasn't even like the big
conspiracy theories, like anything interesting that I'd be like, oh,
maybe I guess this is what we're going to listen to.
It was like this random little family in Iowa.

Speaker 9 (01:59:54):
I don't even know it like lost me.

Speaker 21 (01:59:57):
But he didn't say anything to me the entire ride,
like didn't ask how I was doing or like there
was a zero conversation. He was just like zoned in
listening and just driving and I was like, oh my gosh, where,
like where are we going?

Speaker 9 (02:00:12):
I was kind of like I wish I d.

Speaker 21 (02:00:17):
Exactly not to self, always drive yourself. But we get
to the to the restaurant and and then it was
like a switch, like everything was fine. That's when he
started talking and then he's actually like a really cool guy.
We we did have a good time, but in the
back of my mind, I was just like, what was that.
I didn't didn't think anything of it and asked about

(02:00:38):
it because I thought maybe he's okay, We're good.

Speaker 14 (02:00:41):
We get back in the car to drive.

Speaker 21 (02:00:43):
Me home and he puts it back on and then
again he's just zoned in and listening to it. He
didn't say anything else to me, like, didn't.

Speaker 22 (02:00:53):
Say I had a good time.

Speaker 21 (02:00:54):
It was just like like a zombie. It was really
kind of creepy. So I, yeah, I was weirded out.

Speaker 5 (02:01:01):
That yeah, that I think I would be weirded out.
And it sounds like definitely two awkward rides there. But
I think we just need to go right to the
source of this. Ryan has been listening in I hope
he's been.

Speaker 2 (02:01:14):
Ryan. Are you listening, Are you still listening or are
you back on the podcast.

Speaker 19 (02:01:19):
Okay, I'm listening.

Speaker 2 (02:01:22):
Oh good.

Speaker 19 (02:01:23):
I thought we were both enjoying the podcast.

Speaker 9 (02:01:26):
Never.

Speaker 19 (02:01:26):
I thought it's something that we were both enjoying.

Speaker 3 (02:01:28):
Never once, Oh, it's just a yeah.

Speaker 21 (02:01:32):
You didn't even You didn't even like talk to me
about really the podcast, Like you just stayed quiet, and
I thought awkward. So I didn't want to talk. So
I'm like, wow, I'm going to disturb something here. He's
really into this, so I just shunted down.

Speaker 19 (02:01:50):
I thought the episode was really interesting that we were
both like really into it.

Speaker 3 (02:01:54):
Never is it me?

Speaker 2 (02:01:57):
Or is the first date? Even the car ride over?

Speaker 3 (02:01:59):
Is it?

Speaker 5 (02:02:00):
Is it a chance to get to know somebody and
to actually have a conversation. It's not like you've been
together for years and years and just have your quiet time.

Speaker 2 (02:02:10):
But I don't know, is it me? I haven't been
on the first date in a while.

Speaker 3 (02:02:13):
That's you? I made.

Speaker 21 (02:02:16):
I just thought we would at least have like some
small talk about things and life on each other.

Speaker 12 (02:02:24):
And it wasn't that.

Speaker 8 (02:02:27):
Huh, Well, you.

Speaker 19 (02:02:28):
Could have asked, you could have said something.

Speaker 22 (02:02:31):
I think I just misread the situation.

Speaker 3 (02:02:34):
I don't like the you.

Speaker 5 (02:02:37):
It sounds like whatever you were listening to was more
important than getting to know her.

Speaker 2 (02:02:41):
That's what it sounds like to me. You must have
really been into that, Ryan, and that's how Yeah, it's
a great podcast.

Speaker 19 (02:02:49):
Everyone should listen to it. It's called Conspiracy Theory.

Speaker 2 (02:02:53):
Conspiracy Theories.

Speaker 3 (02:02:55):
All right.

Speaker 2 (02:02:58):
On that alone, I would to give them a second date.

Speaker 11 (02:03:01):
Let's go.

Speaker 3 (02:03:01):
Let's go to the question.

Speaker 5 (02:03:02):
Ryan, you're the one who called us, if maybe you
can get to know her a little bit better, if
she would agree to a second date, would you be into.

Speaker 2 (02:03:10):
That the date would be on us? Definitely, Yes, definitely,
all right, Tiffany, what do you.

Speaker 12 (02:03:16):
Think I'm not I'm not into I'm not into it.

Speaker 21 (02:03:22):
Yeah, I'm it's not it's not going to be my thing,
not for me.

Speaker 2 (02:03:26):
You don't want to hear conspiracy theories on the second
you did say it was really nice, like he wasn't listening.

Speaker 3 (02:03:32):
Just don't never mind, Okay, I was. I was too
late to try and it.

Speaker 2 (02:03:38):
Was a Mike and Diane ps A.

Speaker 18 (02:03:39):
P s A.

Speaker 2 (02:03:40):
Always drive yourself, especially to the first date.

Speaker 1 (02:03:43):
I really think at this point I could nail a
first date if I needed to, Like, at least I've
heard all the bad parts yeah, like I'm never going
to go on one again.

Speaker 2 (02:03:52):
But all right, well, thank you for at least letting
us know your side, and we wish you both the
best of luck.

Speaker 21 (02:04:01):
Burning skys yep appreciate it.
