Speaker 1 (00:00):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one WayV. Erica from Kate May Courthouse is looking for
a second date update with a guy named Dennis.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Erica, how you doing good?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
I'm good?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
How are you doing well? Thank you?
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Just curious about your date? So please tell us about
Dennis and your first date.
Speaker 4 (00:21):
It was great, good vibe. He seemed like a really
nice guy. It's the regular normal first date. Nothing crazy.
I mean, we didn't have a kids at the end,
but that's okay, you know, respectful, right, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Just getting to know each other. I liked that you
said it was good vibes.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah, but you're obviously you're calling us, so you must
not have heard back from Dennis.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
I haven't heard anything. I'm no response to texts, phone
calls like pay what's going on here?
Speaker 5 (00:54):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (00:55):
So frustrating?
Speaker 1 (00:56):
All right, we are swooping in like superheroes. Second date
update superheroes to help you. What we're gonna do, Erica
is put you on hold, play a song, and try
to get Dennis on the phone. Next on ninety five
point one WayV. Ninety five point one WayV, It's Mike
and Diane's second date update. A few minutes ago, Erica
(01:16):
told us about her first date with Dennis. Just a
normal first date, good vibes, and you enjoyed yourself.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Right Erica.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
Yeah, that's a great time.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
But unfortunately Erica has heard nothing back from Dennis. So
let's get right to it. I waste time, try to
get Dennis on the phone. At least get some answers.
Here we go. Hello, Hi, is this Dennis?
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:45):
This is he.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Hi Dennis.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
It's radio people calling Mike and Diane from ninety five
point one WayV.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
I'm Diane. There's Mike.
Speaker 6 (01:53):
How's it going?
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:56):
I know a little strange.
Speaker 5 (01:57):
What what do I the pleasure too?
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Glad? She said, pleasure.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
We got a call from one of our radio family
members by the name of Erica, and Erica was telling
us she went.
Speaker 5 (02:13):
On a date with you. I remember you wrote.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Oh good, that's the first step. She just doesn't know
why you're not getting back in touch with her. She
said she really enjoyed the date, had some good vibes,
and just hasn't heard anything so on her behalf.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
So she's not hanging. Could you give us some answers please?
Speaker 5 (02:29):
Yeah, Well, we had a good date. We had a
good time. It was a good place. We ate and
we're sitting at the restaurant and she gets up and says, oh,
I have to go to the bathroom for a few minutes.
She was gone for like twenty to twenty five minutes,
sitting there, and she comes back and she says, I,
(02:54):
I just had to pump because I have a six
month old.
Speaker 6 (02:58):
Oh oh, I.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Had no idea. She didn't tell me on the hinge profile.
She didn't do you know that none of the kids
stuff ever came up until I had to sit there
and wait for her to pump. And I don't know.
I just thought it was awkward to have to tell
her that that was the reason, and that's why I
didn't get back to her.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
I guess that could be awkward, and especially not not
knowing that she didn't You had no idea that she
is six month old.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
I like that you just sat there for twenty five minutes, like,
why is she gone?
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Where is yeah? Upset stuff?
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Perhaps? Yeah, well that is that is what I thought.
Maybe something happened with the food. I wanted to be
respectful and patient, you know, Yeah, I'm not a monster.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
Okay, I don't know why you said it like that.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
But okay, I can see where that would be a shock.
I'm putting myself in your shoes and that would be
a shock to not know. But let's check in with
the source, because we have to let you know Dennis
that Erica has been listening in Erica, did you think
that might have been an important part when you're getting
to know each other before the first date, to let
him know?
Speaker 4 (04:07):
I wow, I thought I did. I guess. I'm sorry, I.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
Meant I guess Eric is here? Yes, she is.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
She's been listening in.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
Yeah, okay, great, I should have known.
Speaker 6 (04:22):
We never promised that.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Not normal people, so you kind of just forgot to
tell them. To me, that is probably number one thing.
It seems important to me.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
Well, you know, I got the baby brain thing going on,
so I'm pretty forgetful these days. But uh yeah, but
even so, like, I mean, what am I supposed to do?
This is what it is?
Speaker 6 (04:45):
Yeah, yeah, I get your side of it. You're not
having a baby. Doesn't mean that you're locked in your
house and you can't meet somebody. Of course, maybe lead
with it. I think maybe I'm leading with it. But like,
if you're going to leave a table for twenty five minutes.
I understand. My wife used to have to pump in
(05:06):
the school closet, like I get it, but she also
had to announce like, hey, I will be gone for
twenty minutes, right, Um, maybe just let the guy know.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
I don't he would be worried, get worried about.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
It, especially if you're going to just tell him on
the other end of it, you know what I'm saying, Like,
I almost get it more if you didn't tell him.
I don't know. I'm so back and forth right now.
Because you shouldn't be locked in your house. You should
be able to meet somebody. But you probably should have
told him prior to the date.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Yeah, that is something important.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
I think. I think we're forgetting the elephant on the
airwaves here. There's a baby, a six month baby in Erica.
Unless there was some sort of immaculate conception, that means
that there's probably another dude in the picture somewhere.
Speaker 6 (05:56):
M yeah, Oh, the plot thicking.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Not to mention a baby takes up a lot of
your attention and a lot of your time. And I'm
trying to meet somebody. I'm not trying to Oh god,
see this is why I didn't call back. I don't
want to sound like a jerk. Yeah, but like I want,
I want somebody, I want your time, you know what,
(06:23):
at least at least now, maybe someday down the road.
I want to start a family with somebody. But yeah,
you know.
Speaker 6 (06:29):
What's you know what's bad? You know what. I totally
get what he's saying because what he said sounded bad.
But we have to remember he's not met the baby.
They went on one date. Like, I understand what he's saying, right,
it just doesn't sound good coming out.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
He didn't even know she had a baby. Maybe you
would have been okay if she was up front about it.
I think I think that's the part that hurt.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yeah, well.
Speaker 4 (06:53):
I thought I told you. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
What do you want me to do?
Speaker 4 (06:56):
I mean, that's my private life. I'm not going to
explain everything on our first date.
Speaker 6 (07:01):
Well, to be fair, if you're going on a date,
you're kind of letting them into your private life.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Yeah, that is true. Well, I have to ask the question.
I feel I know how this is going to go.
But Erica, since you called us, would you want a
second date with Dennis? It would be on us and
maybe you could bring the baby next time.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
I mean, now, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
It doesn't sound like he's going to be cool with it,
and like, you know, my baby's obviously going to come first,
or a stranger.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Right right, Dennis, what would you what would you say?
He said, yeah, yeah, I just I don't think that
was the answer.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
The lie, I mean, the lack of honesty, the dishonesty
by omission is a bit of a red flag for me.
You know, I think in the future you might want
to tell people your situation. I feel like it's almost
akin to like a pronoun or gender, Like you don't
(08:00):
want you don't want somebody to find out that that
they got different stuff going on down there.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Oh well, how do we get to that?
Speaker 6 (08:08):
God, we didn't just make a left, we did, all right?
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Three sixty all right, Dennis, let's keep that as Hey, no,
thank you so much. Yeah, all right, Well, we wish
you both the best of lock in and give that
little baby a hug from us.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Eric.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
Unfortunately this is a pump and dump.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
OK, we gotta go, all right, Lenny had taken down
the Christmas lights. It's Mike and Diana on ninety five
point one.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
W a y V.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
We still have ours up. I'm thinking next week. But
we were late last year, really late.
Speaker 6 (08:45):
Yeah. Yeah, I was so late taking down the lights
last year that I put up the new ones while
I was taking down the old ones. They were up
all year. They were up the entire year.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Wow, that's really late.
Speaker 6 (08:57):
Yeah, I would think. So it was a little ridiculous.
And they went straight in the garbage. Yeah, and then
I've already gotten the new ones down, like I just
I didn't put them up to the places that I
couldn't reach, so I just grabbed them. Get come on down.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
Yeah, that's what my hobby does. He doesn't go every year,
gets a little bit lower.
Speaker 6 (09:16):
Yeah, I mean it's the new house. Honestly, the roof
is so steep that I don't feel safe about it.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
But it's yeah, it is a safety thing.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yeah, but here are the top Signs's time to take
your Christmas lights down.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
People were commenting on social media.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
They say, even Santas giving you dirty looks, time to
take them down.
Speaker 6 (09:33):
Yeah, we're doing a lot.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
How about your electric bill is higher than your mortgage? Ah,
that could be possible these days.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
Actually, I'm actually terrified. I today is a bills day
for me, and I'm terrified to go look at the
electricity and gas like terrified and water because the in
laws were here and they wouldn't stop taking showers. They
just took showers NonStop, all forty five of them. They
were all living with me, and they just used all my.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Wone on purpose.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
How about the dancing Santa looks like he broke his hip. Yeah,
we had that with our Rudolph. He looks like he's
a broken hip. Top signs is time to take your
Christmas lights down. Everyone in your neighborhood calls you, Clark Griswald.
Speaker 6 (10:14):
I think I'm gonna go full wet bandits next time
I visit the in loss and stuff a drain and
pull the water tab open. But if you're wondering that,
and I stopped listening, I'm just thinking about all the
bad stuff I can do with my in laws now.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Now they're listening on the free, new and Improved iHeartRadio app.
Your wife is so embarrassed. No, this wouldn't happen. Actually,
your your wife is so embarrassed. She moved in with
her mother. You've got her mother usually staying with you. No,
she comes and lives with me, yes, so that doesn't apply.
And finally the top sign it's time to take your
Christmas lights down.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Even your kids think this has gone on long enough?
Speaker 6 (10:51):
Yeah, been there, it.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Might be time. Good luck, good luck to my hobby
because he's got to get the lights down.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
It's the Mike and Diane Show on ninety five point
one WayV talking about bucket list travel the most popular destinations.
Find out if yours is on the list because a
team from the bucket List Company, which I didn't know
existed but sounds like fun, specializes in off the beaten
path group travel and they analyze Google search data to
(11:20):
find the most popular destinations of adventurers.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
So this is going to be interesting.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
We're going to find out where people want to travel
the most worldwide, the top five bucket list destination see
if they are on your list. Coming up next to
ninety five point one WayV. Mike and Diane's bucket List
travel on ninety five point one WayV.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Jack from May's Landing, Where do you want to go?
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Oh, Machu Pichu.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Number one on the survey?
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Absolutely that, I mean just the pictures that I've seen
other than having to walk up that mountain, which might
be physically impossible. I think it would be a miracle
just to see its Wow.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
I had to actually, since it was number one on
the top five bucket List destinations worldwide, I had to
look it up. And I had always heard about it,
but when I saw the images. Have you ever looked
it up? Mike Machi Picho?
Speaker 6 (12:12):
I know, mach Yeah, listen at night instead of like
reading a book. Now, my eight year old wants to
go on this game called Geo Guesser, okay, where it
puts you in a random place Google Earth, Google Maps,
random place and you have to figure out where it is.
And we love so We've learned a lot about the
world that way. Wow, Machu Pichu is something that comes
(12:33):
up rarely, but it comes.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Up set high in the Andes Mountains. Do you do
you feel that you will you know what I'm going
to say. Do you feel you will make it there someday?
Speaker 2 (12:42):
Jack?
Speaker 3 (12:44):
As in my dying breath, I will absolutely make that happen.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Well, I hope you don't wait till then, but well I.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
Gotta wait till I retire, which at this point might
never happen. Yeah, we feel like you're waiting to get
some vacation time.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Sounds good.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
At number two on the list is the taj Ma
Hall in India. No, thank you, we well, we had
the taj in Atlantic City.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
That was enough.
Speaker 6 (13:05):
Trap I saw, I saw that. That's close enough.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
And number three Lapland Sweden.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
I've never heard of that la right now, l A
L A N D Lapland Sweden Laplan and then Sweden
and then well, are.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
You sure is it Lapland that dance club down from
the taj Ma Hall.
Speaker 6 (13:27):
I think it's on the fourth.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Tell my secrets? Is this is my list? Wrong?
Speaker 5 (13:32):
No?
Speaker 6 (13:32):
No, you're right. There's a Lapland Sweden, and there's a
Laplan feeling.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Oh okay, Well.
Speaker 6 (13:37):
Sweden made the top five so famous for the it's
the Arctic, so prepare for that. But it's northern lights.
That's that's It's apparently one of the best place to
see the northern lights according to Wikipedia. People.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
I believe it.
Speaker 6 (13:50):
I am reading somebody else's work. Okay.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
The Grand Canyon at number four, okay, that makes sense.
Speaker 6 (13:58):
I have not been there. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
And at number five Yellowstone National Park. Have you guys
been there?
Speaker 6 (14:05):
No? I want to buy a Yellowstone style, but not
the park park. I would like a farm.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
And the park is, if you didn't know, scattered across
three states, mainly in Wyoming, more than ninety five percent,
three percent in Montana, and a fraction of the park.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Is situated in Idaho. Well there's your bucket list, travel Jack.
Best of luck. You're gonna get there, Machu peach you.
We'll meet you there.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
I can't wait.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Good morning, Where.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Mike and Diana on ninety five point one WayV and
the Breaking Bad House could be yours for four million dollars.
It's in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and it was used as
the external filming location for Walter White's Home.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Did you watch Breaking Bed?
Speaker 5 (14:47):
Oh? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Oh good? Oh that's right, because you were watching Better
Call Soul.
Speaker 6 (14:50):
Also, yeah, Well.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
The current owner of the home says she's fed up
with the attention her family home is still getting. It's
been over a decade since the show ended, but really
it never ended because because people are still binging it
on Netflix.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
So let me get this straight. She's sick and tired
of the attention her house is getting, so she puts
it on the market for twenty x what it's probably worth.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Four million dollars.
Speaker 6 (15:13):
Four million dollars. The house was three bedroom ranch in Albuquerque.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Real estate is expensive these days.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
Not an Albuquerque.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
She says, she gets three hundred cars a day coming by,
I mean the one hundred.
Speaker 6 (15:30):
I get it. It makes sense the plot. The question
I have is did she own the house when it
was being filmed or did she buy it knowing it
was the house that was being filmed or was she
in the dark about all of it? And then also,
what made you say I'm gonna sell this for four
million dollars when it's realistically I'll inflate the market a
(15:52):
little bit. Call it a four hundred thousand dollars house.
Oh really, I think it's less than that. But I'm
gonna go Onzilo.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
You keep talking, Okay, Well, she suggested making it into
a short.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Term rental like Airbnb or a museum. She has so
many people. But I remember driving.
Speaker 6 (16:09):
You make it into an Airbnb, you own the house?
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Yeah? Really? Like she's sick of it, She says, I
remember driving by the full house house in San Francisco.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
That was pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Yeah, And then I drove by the house in Philly
that I think of what was called Real World.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Real World was filmed that.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
It was an old bank that was converted into a
house and they filmed there. I happen to be in
the area, but I've never been to the Jersey shorehouse.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
That one I've never got im.
Speaker 6 (16:35):
Yeah you know what I Sabrina the Teenage Witch. You
remember that show.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Yeah, I would drive by that house.
Speaker 6 (16:41):
I realized that's in my town. Ah, that is where
I lived.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
I thought it was in Salem.
Speaker 6 (16:47):
No, it's in Central Jersey.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
I did not know that.
Speaker 6 (16:51):
Okay, I didn't know that either. The amount of times
I drove by that house and saw that house before
somebody was like, that's the outer that's the house from uh, Sabrinaitage.
And that was a true job drop moment for me.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
It was like, wow, what, I might take a ride.
I love that show.
Speaker 6 (17:06):
It was so good. It is five minutes from me.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
What cool.
Speaker 6 (17:12):
By the way, Albuquerque, New Mexico. That house is probably
worth two and fifty thousand dollars. What that's what I'm
getting at.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
What I'm looking for moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Then
you didn't get a decent sized house there.
Speaker 6 (17:25):
I'm going two hundred and fifty three hundred thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
All right, all right, sold four million. Well, we will
keep you updated. We'll let you know what the sale
price is. Maybe just to get attention, that was the
price tag. But I'm sure, like you said, nobody's going
to pay.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
That kind of money.
Speaker 6 (17:41):
One of these is not like the other.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
In the meantime, I'm going to the Sabrina the Teenage
Witch House to day.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
Yeah free on New Jersey.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Okay, thank you.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
It's Mike and Diane on ninety five point one WayV
and on the new and improved Free iHeartRadio app. And
we've got the best diets for twenty twenty five revealed.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
We usually run down the list for you every year.
And is that one of your twenty twenty five goals?
To lose weight? Let me answer that question.
Speaker 6 (18:06):
Duh yeah, yeah, I mean it's not a not it's
I'm done calling it a resolution. I just oh goal,
I'm done calling it any of that. Just stop and
do it. Yeah, like when you make it a goal,
it's failable, just like it's an ongoing life thing.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Yeah it is. And these makes sense that the top
diets revealed if you follow them.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
But I didn't do it last year, US News and
World Report released their annual list of the best diets,
is ranked by health experts and nutrition professionals. For the
eighth year in a row, the Mediterranean diet has been
named the healthiest, healthiest way to eat.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
That makes sense?
Speaker 6 (18:45):
Is it? Is it expensive?
Speaker 1 (18:47):
It's fruits, vegetables, whole grains.
Speaker 6 (18:50):
So second mortgage is.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
Cheaper than spaghettios. But I guess you can handle fruit.
I think limited dairy, limited red meat.
Speaker 6 (18:59):
No, I'm out lean protein.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
I mean, it's just common sense. It's I'm out good stuff.
Speaker 6 (19:04):
I'm out.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
I need my Number three at McDonald's. Okay, Number two
on the list of the best diets overall, the Dash diet.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
I did hear about this.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
I think it has to do with salt because it's
designed to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of
heart disease and stroke. Number three the Flexitarian diet. That
one I didn't recognize. Yeah, I mean, it's my flexibility
is throwing some tater tots. If you know what the
flexitarian diet, I'm curious. Just leave us a talk back
on the free iHeart radio app. And then the Easiest
(19:39):
Diets to follow pretty much the same three, but The
last two are Mixed.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Mediterranean diet at number one.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
That's pretty much number one, overall flexitarian which I don't
know what it is.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
Number two and number three is the Dash diet. And also, oh,
while you're on talkback on the free iHeart radio app,
just tap that red microphone let us know.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Did any of these plans work for you? Or are
you're looking forward to well, we're all looking forward to
a healthy twenty twenty five. Tap that red microphone and
leave us a message, and good luck to you. If
you're making healthy changes, let's do it.
