Championship Saturday. Next weekend, you've got NFL Week thirteen to
shape up the playoff picture. You've got college basketball with
all the holiday tournaments, battle for Atlantis, Maui Invitational, Vegas.

it all going on all at once. Don't you just love?
Thanksgiving weekend?

The best, absolute best, And it's always getting towards the
fantasy playoffs. I know we talk about positioning for NFL playoffs, right,
this is fantasy playoff time when all the teams are
getting geared up to try and make their squad. So
this is the best day, man, Thanksgiving Day for football
is the best, but the weekend overall is incredible.

I'm in a half PPR league. Should I start Lamar
Jackson versus Cincinnati or Jalen Hurts on Friday versus the Bears.

Wow? Okay, so in a PPR league normally doesn't matter
for the quarterback, but I'm running back in the receivers.
But I appreciate that extra info. We have Hurts rank
number three overall this week with a good game at
twenty eight points, and we have Lamar right behind him
at twenty six and a half. I agree with you, MJS.
I think that Cincy Baltimore game is going to play
over that total of fifty one and a half. I'm
gonna be the highest scoring game on the board.

meat this week, I'm going with Lamar Jackson in a shootout.

Hurts that high. I have just say, you know, because
most Philly fans want him. He was a Super Bowl MVP.
They want to get rid of him.

Yeah, you know, I think they're really going to attack
in through the air. I mean the Bears are the
twenty eighth. They're actually moved up a little bit. They're
twenty first against the past, twenty eighth against the run.
You know, I'm a little bit afraid that that game
might get a little sideways. I know people like the
Bears in that game, but as an underdog, But I
don't know. It's a dicey one, especially with Survivor this weekend.
By the way, Oh right, Survivor eighteen million dollars in

the line, and you have to pick one of those
three games, and you had to have saved somebody. So
a lot of people save Philadelphia in the eighteen million
dollars Circus Survivor, only to have them lose last week
and the Bears be a first place team, so it's
it's gonna shake them things up.

Oh wow, how many people are left in this Circus Survivor.

Nine hundred and change out of eighteen thousand, we have
one team left. We saved We saved Kansas City, we
saved the Ravens, and we saved Philadelphia. And I hate
the fact that Burrow's coming back because we rolled with
the Ravens this week and Survivor so we're we need
to just wring into advance. Yeah. So actually Thursday is
its own week in Circus Survivor, and then Sunday is

a whole other week. It's called thirteen week B. So
you have to pick a game from the Thursday Friday,
and then you got to pick another game on Sunday
to advance.

after what he did last week, and they're in a

it's difficult. I would start Emmanuel Wilson, but I feel

good starting Walker as well.

pretty good about that. Texans Colts has a forty six
and a half total. Actually he's down to forty five
and a half now, but I would go with Tyler
Warren in that game.

both just coming back from the first game bang out.
I would probably truss Dart a little more at this point,
just to be honest, only because his wasn't a foot injury.

the Bills have a horrible rush defense, but their pass

feel like Taysom Hill might sneak in there and grab one.
So we pretty much have them equal. Having them equal

makes me lean toward David Montgomery.

then in the background the fan I was gonna send
it to kid and ESPN didn't bleep it. They were
chanting F the Huskies, but they would but they did
it and ESPN didn't bleep it. They played. You could
hear what they were saying. They F word and they
were saying F on him like wow, they ate.

Well, well they that's I think now just because and
I think is a durfy. The d lineman for Washington
said kind of the you know, the bigger rivals is
Oregon now because it's you know, the stakes are bigger.

I mean it's yeah, you're not in the same conference now,
you know, like there's a lot of people on the
Wazoo side that don't think the game should be played
Oregon State. I'm not really sure what the I get
the feeling that there's some that feel the same way
about Oregon. It's a little different minds. It's different there though, too.

Campus is in eastern Washington, it's five hours away, Oregon
and Oregon State are like forty minutes away from each other.

So it's a little bit different there. But I never
thought when I was there, I never thought that the

Oregon Oregon State rivalry was a great rivalry. I never

standpoint coming from a Wazoo background and also working in
Salt Lake where Utah Buyu is to me maybe the
most underrated and quite possibly one of the best, if
not the best rivalries in the country because it has

to do more with it's not just football's religion, which
is the also ironic twist is that ninety percent of
the people that are coaching and playing at Utah are
also Mormon. But that's fine. It's they call it the
Holy War. They I think they tried not to anymore,
but that rivalries through the roof. I came from there
to Portland, and also, being a Koog, knew what the
Apple Cup was about.

Portland, I'm like, there's just not a lot of juice
for Oregon Oregon State and so but yeah, it's it's
a huge game this Saturday. Man, it is a massive game.

then wait and see what happens. Oregon would be under
a little bit of stress at that point what happens.

Campus is in eastern Washington, it's five hours away, Oregon
and Oregon State are like forty minutes away from each other.
They're both south of Portland corvellde. You go down I
five and you take a right, go to Gorvalis, keep
going straight you get to Eugene. So they're very close proximity.
So it's a little bit different there. But I never
thought when I was there, I never thought that the

Oregon Oregon State rivalry was a great rivalry. I never
felt that. Yeah, and now I say that from the
standpoint coming from a Wazoo background and also working in
Salt Lake where Utah Buyu is to me maybe the
most underrated and quite possibly one of the best, if
not the best rivalries in the country because it has

to do more with it's not just football's religion, which
is the also ironic twist is that ninety percent of
the people that are coaching and playing at Utah are
also Mormon. But that's fine. It's they call it the
Holy War. They I think they tried not to anymore,
but that rivalries through the roof. I came from there
to Portland, and also, being a Koog, knew what the
Apple Cup was about.

Portland, I'm like, there's just not a lot of juice
for Oregon Oregon State and so but yeah, it's it's
a huge game this Saturday. Man, it is a massive game.
I mean Jed Fish and the Huskies. You want to do, no, like,
like your biggest dream would be knock them off and
then wait and see what happens. Oregon would be under
a little bit of stress at that point what happens.

I think they're comfortable enough to get in though. I
here's the problem. What if Michigan beats Ohio State, Well.

Then all bets are off. Then they're done. All bets
are off. And by the way, my yeah, Keynes will
be going to the out Back Bowl. In Tampa. Yeah,
I mean that's what it is like. Teams like Miami
and BYU and Utah are rooting for Auburn and Ohio State.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
Yes, yes, yes. You can't have Michigan win and Oregon
can't have Michigan win. No, no, no, Washington. If if
Ohio State wins and Ole miss wins, Oregon can probably
afford a loss.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
Do you know a lot of people now are picking
Mississippi State. Well, the whole distraction with Lane, right, I
think he's gone just say you're staying.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
If you're gonna stay, well, he's gonna do it after
the Egg Bowl, Yeah, I would.

I think he's gone. Here's the thing. But you know
what someone said, it could be the perfect thing. You
get all this attention about you LSU Florida and he
could just say I'm staying. That's Alane. He would do that.

Now, Yeah, if he's smart, what he would do is
he would tell them right before they go on the field,
you know, like.

Oh yeah, like and then after the game going I
changed my mind, I'm going or tell them or honestly
or tell them before the game like before like before,
like like on the meeting, on like the meeting on
on Thursday, like your team meeting on Thursday. If I'm
if you're staying, you're in that meeting, because those teams
will have their meeting on Thursday in the hotel and
just tell the team, Hey, like all these distractions, you know,

kind of the premier high school sports writer in the
