Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh man, what are the crazier stories of the weekend?
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Right?
Speaker 1 (00:04):
He couldn't believe what I was seeing, the balls fluttering
in the air, things like every ball is taking two
or three seconds to land, but yet he's finding ways
complete passes. You know, it kind of felt like the knuckleballer,
you know that you get could come up to the
lineup for the first time, and you know, for a
while it just looked like they want prepped for how
different he would be at the passer. And so, you know,
(00:26):
Seattle let them hang around a lot, a lot closer
than they probably should have, and found a way to
get it get it out at the end. But I
certainly did not expect that game to be as close
as it was.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Nobody did, which is and I got to tell you,
I mean I felt good a month ago after the
loss to the Rams, when even though Sam Darnold threw
four interceptions, you had a chance to win it on
a sixty one yard walk off field goal, And yesterday
I don't feel good about this win.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
How do you not get in the end zone one time.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Versus a team who gave up thirty seven points recently
to Jacksonville.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yeah, offense definitely is a huge question mark. I think
that a lot of the problems that have been ailing them,
you know, showed up. You haven't been able to run
the ball, whether it's Kenneth, whether it's that, it just
has been a one dimensional offense. And I think through
that you've seen teams kind of show some cracks in
Sam Darnold, and so I get the concern, especially as
you get closer to playoff time, of you know, do
(01:22):
we have enough offensively to get it done? I think
that would be my big question mark. So you know,
they've got a Thursday, get right opportunity on the short
week at home against the Rams team that may may
not have Davante Adams out there. They got to show
it now because yeah, you don't want to get worried about, Hey,
it's just a one done team in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, that's a great point. And you know what, Cameron,
why can't this team run the ball? Kenneth Walker yesterday
only had seventeen yards on nine care I mean, what
if you can't run the ball. There's two things that
you have to do in football, and you don't need
to be Bill Belichick or the late great Bill Walsh
to know, you gotta be able to run the ball
and stop the run. Well, we know the Seahawks can
(02:04):
stop the run, but they got to be able to
run the ball.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, for sure, you know, I think the old line certainly,
you got to put a lot of that on them.
I think Kenneth and Zach are talent at rushers. I'm
sure they've missed them some holes, but it just seems
like there's there's rarely anything there. There's a lot of
you know, you start to look at stacks and what
are your preferred contact stats, and there before contact numbers
are pretty low. They're just not getting much push and
(02:28):
so it discourages you to want to even keep running
the ball. And that's what that one dimensional element that
we were talking about. And you can't just JS in
your way all the way through the playoffs. You're gonna
eventually have a second or third weapon. So that's definitely
my still my biggest concern with the Seattle Seahawks, Like
when it comes down to it, do they have somebody
else that can beat you other than jasn and and
(02:49):
can you score enough? You know, can you score twenty
twenty four points to keep up? You know, on a
good Defensive.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Day, Cameron Wall, NFL Network, joining us here on MJ
in the midday Sports Radio ninety three to three k RFM, Seattle.
So with all that being said, I mean, you know, listen,
a team can look like crap one week and look
like Roses the following week. Now, this is a short
week setting up what could be the NFC West Championship
(03:16):
game Thursday night. How do you see the Hawks going
into that game being able to establish the run against
a very tough Rams defense.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah, that part is going to be difficult. I don't
know if you all of a sudden can turn around
and established to run against that team. But I will say,
you know, you get them at the right time, if
there is a right time, you get them on a
road game on a short week, coming to a place
where it sounds like they're not going to have their
their best red zone weapon, and Devonte Adams, you know,
(03:48):
they're coming off of a you know, emotional victory the
other day. So I think this is actually setting up
to me if Seattle can play good defense to win
an ugly game at home on Birthday, but uh, I
figure out a way to slow down that that passing
attack of Matthew Stafford and that Russian attack they have
(04:08):
on the other end, there's a duo to some Kiren
and Korum and run the ball really well. He low scoring.
You know, maybe there's but I certainly Seattle's got them
at the right time. If they if they can knock
them off.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
You know, Cameron, the Seahawks have never beaten Matthew Stafford
when he's been playing for the Rams. Now, they did
win a game last year, but remember McVeigh sat all
his starters, including Stafford, because they didn't need to play.
So they are six and oh against the Seahawks in
the Stafford era.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Right if it's if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen
now though, right right, this seems like this you know,
if everyone's gonna say you haven't been able to do it,
that's knock on. Yet this is the moment, you know,
this is the moment to me, and I think it
almost maybe helps as a little bit of a wake
up call that they played as Letharge Colts and cap
(05:05):
forty four year old in it to the end to
where maybe you get you know, the version of Seattle
in this moment, because like you said, you haven't done
it six to No, if you're the team you're supposed
to be, this is the game you go in there
and win at home.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Yeah, And you know what to Cameron, you go back
to the last three games versus the Vikings, Falcons and Colts,
and you know, you look at that, you're like, Okay,
I mean the Vikings game, you had thirteen points in
the first half, not a lot, but you were able
to cruise to a twenty six nothing victory. But then
last week against Atlanta six points in the first half,
(05:43):
this week against the Colts, six points in the first
half on a field goal at the buzzer at halftime.
I just wonder what do you think it could be
on why Clint Kubiak's offense continues to get off to
such slow starts.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yeah, I just think that there hasn't been a the
chemistry that we saw earlier in the year, like when
they were off to a role It seemed like the
first month of the year where they were running the ball.
The past game was the night in and it seems
like something that has worn off. And I don't know
if the defense is catching up a bit of sam
I'm putting them in some situations that he hasn't or
(06:21):
if it's the question that we all had, you know,
as to get towards the playoff months, can Sam Donald
continue to be that play I think you've got to
start with your quarterback of what that chemistry is and flow,
because your confidence your offense flows to that. So I
just haven't seen the same Sam over the last month
month and a half that I did in the first
months and a half the season, and I think that's
(06:41):
a big reason for the incasist.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
Do you?
Speaker 2 (06:46):
And I asked all my guests this recently. We had
Charles Davis from CBS on Thursday. Might might have been Wednesday, No,
it was Thursday, and I asked him, how much do
you trust Sam Donald in January to win big player games,
not any big playoff games, enough to get through divisional
playoff round and and hopefully the NFC Championship to get
(07:07):
back to Santa Clara and playing in Super Bowl sixteen.
He said, five, Cameron, what how much do you trust
Sam Darnold to win big playoff games in January?
Speaker 3 (07:17):
And why.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
I'm probably at the same route, if not a little lower.
You know, you got to look at the NFC and
I know, I don't know that he's gonna be last,
but I'm certain he's probably gonna be in the bottom
four of quarterbacks in the NFC that you know, you
you trust. When they put those cats up there, you know,
you're gonna look at You're gonna look at Matthew Stafford.
(07:41):
You're gonna look at even jenks Hurts through his struggles.
He's won won a Super Bowl. You you're gonna look
at what they what they've got going on there in
Green Bay. Jordan needs one from playoffs.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
You know.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
You know, even Caleb Williams, I think, you know, he's
shown his sparks. It's gonna be hard to find a
team where I feel comfortable picking this level of Sam
Donald over over them. So that's why I said that
there has to be somewhere to get this run game
going and take some prush off them, because we're seeing
some of these awards when there's too much on the shoulders.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Yeah, no, it's it's true. I you know, here's the
thing too. You gotta slay the Blue Dragon and the
Blue Dragon or the Rams and and the Red Sox.
Had to do it with the Yankees twenty one years ago,
and they did it. So where do you see if
you had to going into Thursday night home field advantage,
(08:36):
give us a prediction and let us out on I'll
let you out on that one.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Yeah, I see the game. I kind of alluded to it.
You know, I'm not super confident about where they are often.
I think that's still a huge question mark. But I
do think that the Deacon always gives them a shot,
and I do think they get the Rams offense at
the time we're on the road with de Bonte Adams,
they may not be. So I's twenty to seventeen Seahawks
(09:03):
victory where they get just enough defensively and from Sam
Donald that running the pat mop off the lands.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
All right, man, well appreciate it. To have fun with
the Dolphin Steelers game tonight. Cameron Wolf here on MJ
in the midday. Yeah, I think a low scoring game
certainly favors the Hawks on Thursday night. We've got so
much to talk about, I mean, before we start getting
to there. Even though it's only three days away. I'm
(09:32):
still beside myself on yesterday's game because and you know what,
here's the one thing I can understand, and like I said,
I believe if Daniel Jones was healthy, Seahawks would have
covered thirteen and a half.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
I believe they would have.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
But but that being said, I think there was a
false sense of security when it was announced that they
were bringing Philip Rivers out of retirement.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
I think at that point it was.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
It was just something that you know, human nature, like
I think the guy like, yeah, man, whatever, and I'm like,
why is this still a game? Why are they winning?
And it stayed close throughout till to the very end.
I mean, it was a tight game and you needed
to pull it out at the end on a fifty
six yard walk off, And I guess maybe I understand it.
(10:38):
But please don't tell me that this was not a
look ahead to the Rams. Do not tell me that
at all, because it certainly was, and for me, I
will not look at this in any other way. It
was a clear look ahead by the team. And I
don't think it was a look at for Mike McDonald.
I don't or Clint Kubiak, but I think you can
(11:00):
only you know what, do they always say you can
lead the horses to water, you can't make them drink,
And I think they were just like, eh, whatever, I
just don't respect you know, I'm they're not going to
do anything. We can kind of put this one on
cruise control yesterday, and they clearly did all game long,
but still the defense showed up. He only had one
(11:21):
hundred and twenty seven yards passing, they only had two
hundred and seventy seventeen yards of total offense. But you
only got to them four times. You know, you only
hit him four times all game long, but two hundred
and fifteen total yards.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
I give up.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Now here was the part. And this is one of
the things that I do like what I have seen
from this Seahawks team in the second half. Like you
go back to last week against Atlanta, that was a
six to sixth game at halftime, Seahawks come out and
score seventeen in the third quarter, thirty one in the
(11:59):
second half. Falcons only got a field goal in the
second half. So something at halftime, there's there's obviously a
switch in adjustments that are made. And in the third
quarter yesterday the Hawks out gained the Colts one hundred
and twenty five to twenty three yards in that quarter.
(12:22):
But you've got to do better than that. I mean,
it's just overall that can't be that team yesterday. Cannot
show up on Thursday night. They just can't, because if
they do, then Matthew Stafford and Sean McVeigh will continue
to own this team. I mean, I mean, I'm not,
(12:45):
you know, going on any limbs saying that. I mean,
that's just what it is. And you know, I will
tell you right now, Vegas, Vegas feels the same way.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Oh yeah, right now.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
The LA Rams are a one and a half point
favorite on Thursday night versus the Seattle Seahawks. So I
like that value. And the Seahawks I won't even take
the points. I take them on the money line. I
won't even need the points. Why even bother You're gonna
get better value on the money line anyway. But that's
(13:24):
right now. And I remember, if I recall, the Seahawks
were a three point underdog in LA a month ago
against the Rams. So now they're a one and a
half point dog at home. But I believe that was
the case. I believe that like a month ago. I'm
gonna check that out here, that they were in that
(13:48):
game against the Rams, that they were a let me see,
I think that was week eleven. I'm looking that up
oh yeah, they were three and a half. There are
three and a half point underdog, and now that was
on the road and now they're a one and a
half point underdog at home.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
It's not disrespect. That's how Vegas views it. That's how
Vegas views that.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
In order to get equal action on both sides of
the favorite and the underdog. They believe that the common
and sometimes Vegas gets the line wrong.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
They do.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
I hope it goes up quite frankly, because if it
goes up to three, I don't think it will. But
if it goes up to three, then you really need
to jump all over Seattle, all over them. By the way,
I also want to say this too, Happy Hanukkah to
everybody out there throughout the PNW. Happy hanukut, each and
(14:44):
every one of you. And a really sad note which
happened and I got news last night at the end
of the Vikings Cowboys game, is that Oscar Award winning
director Bob Reiner and his wife were murdered in their
own home. And Rob Reiner's son has been arrested for
(15:10):
the murder of his parents. So that's a that's a
really really tough one to take. So thoughts, prayers, condolences
to the family and close friends of Rob Reiner. I
not a loss for words on that one. That really
(15:31):
was like, how do you bring someone into this world
and then they're the ones who are the reason for
you dying and they take your life? I don't get it.
Allegedly allegedly, but he has been arrested, is the only suspect,
and it's yeah, it's right now. It's a very very
(15:55):
sad story. So rest in peace to Rob Reiner and
his wife. He was an amazing director. I loved I
loved him as an actor. I loved him in Wolf
of Wall Street. He played Leonardo DiCaprio's father, Jordan Belfrey's
Bellefort's father, and Wolf of All Street. I thought he
was he was great and everything he did, Princess Bride, Billy, Crystal,
(16:18):
Andre the Giant, and just a very, very very sad story.
So I wanted to say that because there's really no
I mean, when you see a story like that, it
just kind of makes you have pause. But like, just
thankful all of us today, even having to deal with
the minor inconvenience of going a half mile and thirty
(16:38):
five minutes from Dash Point Road onto Pack Highway.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Yeah, I'm alive.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Get to be here with kid every day and talk
to each and every one of you, so you know,
any day above ground is a blessing. And it's true,
but very sad, very sad news. And I don't know
what to say on that note. But coming up next,
I liked the fact that the Huskies did what they
(17:08):
did and what this means.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
But but that being said, is it time now.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
That we do away with what I refer to as
the nip bowl games, the not in playoff bowl games?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Because here's the thing. For the Huskies.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
I love how they ended the season on a winning
note Boise State blowout. I love that they didn't even
get to get fifteen practices. I don't even know if
they got five practices. They you know, like they found
out they were going to that bowl game last weekend,
and well they get three or four practices in before
that game on Saturday night. So is it time for
(17:53):
us to finally say goodbye, so long, farewell well to
the bowl games? Why are we playing them?
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Kid?
Speaker 2 (18:06):
I have a question for you for the teams like
the Raiders, Titans, Browns, Saints. Is there a tournament? Is
there anything. When the NFL playoffs begin. For the teams
who don't make the playoffs, are they playing in any
type of tournament?
Speaker 3 (18:23):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
So why would you why play the Bowl games if
you're not playing a game for the opportunity for you
to possibly win.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
The national championship?
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Participation, right, I mean, really, that's what we're talking about.
It's that's what we're doing here. That's what we're doing,
all right. We'll get to that coming up next because
I think we have kind of I have a friend
who went to the University of Texas and we were
on the phone with Lee Sterling. Lee and him have
(19:03):
known each other for over forty years and he's a
good buddy of mine named Gary. And Lee asked Gary
last Sunday night on the phone, Hey Gary, Hey, you guys.
You know you guys are gonna play Michigan and the
Bowl Game, And Gary just said, who cares. And there's
a guy who went to the University of Texas. Like,
if you cut his skin open and he bleed burnt orange,
(19:27):
he is Texas through and through. I mean, this guy
goes on trips and goes on trips to follow the
Texas volley Women's volleyball team. He's as Texas as it gets.
And he said, quote two words. Who cares?
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Now?
Speaker 2 (19:45):
I want to talk about that coming up next. And
I think it was great that the Huskies won, but
being the bucked up LA Bowl champions in twenty three
cents will more than likely not get you a refill
at your favorite a refill at your favorite restaurant. It
just doesn't matter. The only thing that matters are the
(20:08):
to quote the great Jim Morris Senior playoffs, playoffs, that's
all that matters. If you're not playing, and that's even
Texas Michigan.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
Who freaking cares? Does anyone care?
Speaker 2 (20:23):
I mean, and if you're not gambling on the game,
And yeah, I'd watch it because I want to see
Bryce Underwood versus Arch Manning. But really, most of those
guys that are going to the league, why would they
even risk getting injured playing in a game that doesn't count.
It doesn't matter. We'll get to that next coming up next.
Don't forget hot take Monday your chance to win a
(20:46):
platter of boards, said Sandwiches. Go to the free iHeartRadio app,
leave a rant. You want to talk Huskies, Seahawks, rams, whatever,
Leave a rant about yesterday's game.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
If you want, I certainly gave you mind.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
At the beginning of the show, and you have a
chance to win a platter of board, said Sandwiches. We
will also open up the phone lines coming up at
noon at two o six two eight six ninety five
ninety five. Should they do away with the bowl games forever?
Next MJ in the midday, Christopher Kidd, don't go anywhere,
all right? That was Clay Travis from OutKick Coverage. He
(21:22):
makes a lot of interesting points there. I'm just gonna
go ahead and read you these off and tell me
how much this excites you. Troy versus Jacksonville State, Salute
to Veterans Bowl, Old Dominion versus South Florida. The Cure Bowl,
not named after the great former alternative ban from the eighties.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
It's just the Cure Bowl, okay.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
Louisiana versus Delaware, the sixty eight Ventures Bowl, Missouri State
versus Arkansas State. The Xbox Bowl. Well, at least that
that sounds cool. I'm okay with that. At least it
has a cool Xbox Bowl. Actually sounds per cool, and
I probably you know that's a that's actually cool one.
But you get what I'm saying Myrtle Beach Bowl Tennesas
(22:07):
State versus Western Michigan. I mean, it's just the Boca
Ratone Bowl Toledo versus Louisville. The New Orleans Bowl, Western
Kentucky versus Southern miss The Frisco Bowl UNLV versus Ohio.
The Hawaii Bowl Cal in Hawaii, the Game Above Sports
(22:32):
Bowl Central Michigan and Northwestern, The Rate Bowl r Ate,
New Mexico and Minnesota. Oh, here's a good one. The
First Responder Bowl FIU and UTSA. The Pinstripe Bowl Penn
(22:52):
State and Clemson. The Fenway Bowl Yukon and Army, The
Arizona Bowl, the Other Miami of Ohio the Real Ones
in the playoffs on Saturday versus Texas A and M.
I might add the Other Miami of Ohio versus Fresno State,
the New Mexico Bowl North Texas versus San Diego State,
(23:16):
The Birmingham Bowl Georgia Southern versus Appalachian State. The Independence
Bowl Coastal Carolina versus Louisiana Tech. And last, but not least,
And I shouldn't make fun of this too much because unfortunately,
the guy who would end up being the number one
pick in this April's NFL Draft, after we blew a
(23:37):
twenty one point lead to Syracuse. Last year, the Miami
Hurricanes were in the Pop Tards Bowl versus Iowa State.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
But did you hear what Clay said?
Speaker 2 (23:47):
Iowa State they don't want any part of doing yet
Notre Dame. I think that was more than being sore losers.
But did any of those games excite you that I
just named?
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Oh? Come on, come.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
On, you're not getting aroused, and you're not getting aroused
by the UH sixty eight ventures Ball between Louisiana and Delaware,
the Myrtle Beach Bowl between Kennesau State and Michigan, and
Western Michigan.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Excuse me, not Michigan.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
I mean this is the game above Sports Bowl between
Central Michigan and Northwestern, the First Responderbowl. These aren't you're
telling me this isn't like looking at Scarlett Johanson naked
to you?
Speaker 3 (24:36):
Really?
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Yeah, it's a shocker. That's a major shock. It's just
it's time. It's time that we probably do away with
the bowl games. I mean, if you want to have them, fine,
but other than Notre Dame looking like a bunch of
cry baby sore losers.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
There's a part of me.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
That understands why they didn't go because they feel like, hey,
we're Notre Dame. Going to a bowl game is beneath us,
just like two years ago in basketball when North Carolina
Hubert Davis in his tar heels missed the tournament and
they said, we're not going to the nit. So eventually,
(25:21):
why are we doing these things if they don't mean anything.
Oh by the way, though, MJ and The Midday next
Monday with Christopher Kid, It's only going to be an
hour show, And I'm actually thankful because we have a
lot of Washington State Cougar's fans here and we are
going to give way to the famous Idaho Bowl next Monday.
(25:49):
I believe we're only gonna be on the air for
an hour from ten am to eleven am next Monday
because Washington State, Utah State or the Idaho Potato Bowl. Yes,
so that's coming up next Monday at eleven am, and
we have a lot of Cougar's fans, So I would
understand that, you know, wanting to hear that. But if
(26:13):
Washington State wasn't in that game, would you really care
if it was Utah State? Versus Wyoming. Would you want
to see that? Would you want? Nobody does? And that's
the thing about it, So there has to come a point.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Now.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Conference championships is an interesting thing. It's very interesting. They
mentioned on the Conference Championships. It didn't hurt Alabama losing
this year. It didn't hurt SMU losing in the ACC
Championship last year to Clemson. But BYU hurt them when
(26:49):
they got that ass kicked by Texas Tech hurt them.
That actually helped the you and got us in the playoffs.
So I don't know how they're gonna do that. All
I'm saying is this, if you're in the NIP the
not in playoff bowl games, and if it's not your
school and you're not gambling on it, do you care?
(27:11):
Do you really care? And it's a rhetorical question because
we all know the answer to it. Of course you don't.
Nobody cares and.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
Why would you care? Why would anyone care?
Speaker 2 (27:25):
We're getting to the point now where it's like, you know,
I'm glad the NFL Playoffs don't have a tournament for
teams who don't make it. Although you know, what would
be an interesting idea, kid think of I would like this.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
This would be cool, just to thought. What if the
NFL did this, took the top.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Five worst teams Raiders, Giants, Saints, Browns and put them
all together, right, all of them. Cardinals are almost on
that verge there too, the worst team gotta buy, and
(28:11):
then two teams played each other, okay, and the team
who won got the.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Number one pick.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
It would incentivize the team who wins to get the
number one pick. It would be interesting something to think
instead of just tanking tanking, MJ. I feel you on
coming up dash point way. I live off of tenth.
Next time, jump on first Avenue and head south to
three hundred and twentieth and head over to I five. Nah, noah,
(28:39):
I'm good. I'm good on that. I like pop tarts
for nostalgia, but no interest in the pop tart bowel.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
The Xbox Bowl would be interesting if they got players
together and they had an Xbox pick a video game tournament.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
Well, they probably do. They probably do.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
MJ just gives us more to gamble on, and as
the Wazoo grad who doesn't have a chance ever to
make the playoffs, it gives an extra game. Don't watch
them if you don't like them. Yeah, that's true. You're right, MJ.
Dashpoint and Pacific Highway my oldhood from the eighties and nineties,
great times. Well I think I know why it was
(29:18):
like that. It was due to the flooding and everybody
coming on over. But when you it shouldn't take thirty
five to forty minutes to go half a mile from
dash Point Road north onto Pack Highway, and yet it
it has, and it is, and it.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
Was like that.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
Tomorrow, your boy MJ.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Might be making an audible from the line of scrimmage.

Seahawks have started a monster. They've created a monster. We'll
get to that next. And don't forget hot Take Monday

a monster. We'll get to that next, but that was
Did you watch that kid? Did you see any of it?
Speaker 4 (30:22):
I didn't, but I saw the reaction. I saw the moment.
I saw how I went down. So now he wants
to get back to it and set up. You know,
he even said on Pat McAfee's show on Friday, if
you're talking about me in January when I'm retired, that's
a problem. I want to set up the next And
so he did this thing where you know, his whole
(30:43):
thing was never give up. Don't you know his soul
that that was his mantra, hustle, loyalty, respect, and he
gave up. He tapped out to Gunther on Saturday Night's
main event.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
It just was, it was a bad match.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
It it just left a lot to be desired. I'll
leave it at that. But but credit to John Cena.
He's a class act and he's different. He's not gonna
be like Rick Flair and retire eight hundred different times.
He's literally gone. He's gone. So that's it, and kudos
(31:16):
to him, good luck to him. He is now in Hollywood. Well,
the Seattle Seahawks have started a monster and that monster's
name Pepaw Stein. Shane Steichen has announced that Philip Rivers
will be starting Monday Night football next week against the
(31:38):
San Francisco forty nine Ers at home. So with the
fact that we hate the Niners, I've always hated the
Burgundy and Gold Frisco.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
Go, Pea Paw.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
Just do what you did yesterday and do it next
Monday Night against the forty nine.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
You see what the Seahawks have. I said that to you, kid,
I go.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
The worst part would be if he's actually somewhat good
and he was decent and he didn't you know, we
threw the pick in the end of Kobe Bryant, but
other than that, he didn't make a lot of mistakes.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
It went through for one hundred and twenty seven yards.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
But Philip Rivers on behalf of all Seahawk Nation and
the twelves. We'll be rooting for you next Monday Night
at home against Frisco the Niners.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
How about that?
Speaker 2 (32:27):
The rep and now people are gonna be like, oh man,
now Cam Newton might be getting calls. Don't worry about Cam.
