Speaker 1 (00:00):
Resounding when over the Falcons is now thirteen and two
on the road as the Seahawks head coach since he
took over last year.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
What can you say about Mike McDonald.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Man, He's incredible, And I think what's what I think
what people forget about coaching sometimes, like through the the
raw ross stuff, is ultimately it comes down to how
well you can teach people. And I kind of feel
information into uh, you know, bites that people can understand
and then go utilize themselves on the field. So I

(00:35):
think when you go back to Baltimore, like, what was
really interesting at first when Mike got to Baltimore was
that even was terrible because I don't remember if you
guys remember the Dolphins went up there and Tua had
a six touchdown game. And I'm been depleted now, but
I said at the time that was like the worst

(00:55):
six touchdown game I've ever seen.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
But I remember that now, Yes, I do remember. And
by the way, at the time, hey, at the time,
everybody thought Mike McDaniel was this great deity as coach, right, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Yeah, And it's what prays me is like there's like
a little positive dissonance right where you can be sitting
there watching the game. And I remember in that game
there were multiple plays where like Kyle Hamilton and Marlon
Humphrey would be covering the same guy and then Tyreek
Hill is wide open by himself sixty yards down the field.
Hey man, anyone can make that brow right, anyone wants

(01:34):
to do that. But the point is that defense from
that point to the point where they didn't know, like
who who's going to guard Tyreek Hill at the peak
of the parish, we have no answer to that, but
we don't know like whose responsibility that is. And by
the end of that season they were really good. And
then the following season they had the defense that was
basically all time good and that so short and the

(01:57):
Ace and Kyle game to Kansas City that Yeartimore. So
you go from there to Seattle and it's the same
thing happens, not to the same degree. But earlier last
year Seattle's defense it was a little rocky. But basically
since like like mid season last year, you've been you've
been a Saltmart And I think that that goes to
show that like through different organizations, different people, different personnel groupings,

(02:21):
because like there's Baltimore, the Baltimore defense that he had
versus Seattle defense he had and that has now it's
way different players though there's no ropew On Smith, but
you have other pieces that are stronger. So I just
think it's really impressive that he's he's able to teach
guys all different stouts defense, and I think sometimes that's
why it takes takes a little bit to get going,

(02:42):
you know, because they do so much and you might
have some stopping plays like at the start of the
year or if you're at the start of the regime
and guys don't know the defense and they're not comfortable
with the rules yet. But ultimately like those periods have
never lasted longer than which I think goes to show
like he is directly in past, like how much those
guys know and where it's supposed to be. And then

(03:03):
when you add in, oh, yeah, all these guys are
super talented. You might have the best front seventi of
TGT on they all in there.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Four verts Charles McDonald from Yahoo Sports joining us right
here on MJ and the middaycle Sports Leader ninety three
to three KJRFM Seahawks. After yesterday's game, they went into
it leading the NFL and points differential, Charles, they continue
to lead it with a plus one sixty one. Only
three teams an entire season have a higher point differential.
One of them was the Super Bowl champions in twenty thirteen.

(03:31):
They had a plus one eighty six, the team that
went to the Super Bowl and five with the great
Mike Comgrin at plus one eighty one, and then the
team right before the year they won it had a
plus one sixty seven. Do you know the thing I
was most impressed with, Charles about Mike McDonald's more than anything.
It was in a loss. It was it was a
few weeks ago against the Rams.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
They go up.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
There and Sam Donald turned, you know, he turns into
just like Josh Rosen. He throws four interceptions, and Mike
McDonald's defense is so sick and is so elite that
this Seahawks team, Charles, at the end of that game,
Now it was like a sixty one yarder, but they
had a chance to walk off that field at Sofi

(04:17):
Stadium in LA with a win, despite the fact that
their own quarterback Sam Donald handicapped them with four interceptions.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah, I mean, that's how good they are. And what's
also pool about that game. And again I'm about to
say something that sounds ridiculous. If you pull out those
four picks, pull up the four picks, yep, you can
play forty passes in that game. And like they they
it's like Sam had I covered Sam in New York

(04:50):
for two three years.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I'm sorry, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
But what I used to tell people like Sam would
have practices where he looked like Patrick mahomes Man, like
that is death. He really isn't as gifted as any
quarterback in the league. But you know, it's just not
not not as assistent. You don't, you don't not so okay,
the way I described standings, you hear you hear people
say like when a quarterback does an interceptions, you know,
just forget about it, get off the next one. But

(05:15):
like Sam does forget about it to like actually forgets
everything about it, you know, like he's gonna make the
same mistake again some times. But he's But they still
have the infrastructure to just mow people down on offense.
So even just avoid the turnovers. If you look at
the players that weren't turnovers, they move the ball us
pretty well against the Rams in that game, then the defense,

(05:38):
I thought, given where they were put, that's about maybe
the most impressive performance of the season because when you're
starting against that offense and your field position is like
near midfield being Natthew Stafford, Kuka Nakula, Von Say Adams
just spot in like thirty yards of field position based
off these turnovers, and they still really can't get anything gone.
Like that's that's when you know, like, uh, it's some

(05:58):
of a really you know, Super Bowl champion level defense.
And you know, I'm a Falcons fan, so I got
I pulled out of the season when Tennecks got hurt.
They got like no first round pick, Drake London's hurt,
they don't have any catch stayfa. I don't know what
I'm hoping for because they can't do anything next year.
But I did, like see it was like six y

(06:19):
six at as, I was like, that doesn't make any sense,
like what's going on here? And then you blake and
it's thirty work four thirty seven. But but like that
and I say, like I say, with respect, I rooted
for you know, Falcons that Kyle Shanahan obviously very similar
styles of offense that is like the best front runners offense,

(06:42):
like if you can just get going with a touchdown
or two and you can start really breaking out the
playoffs and stuff, because in the second half of that game,
that's where like James Sam start getting open when they
just started leaning on them, and then then then you
have a lead with that defense and it just time
of becomes to get overwhelming. And the only time, the
only place that you really see that style often struggling.

(07:02):
It's like when they get down, uh, when they get
down early, Like I remember when the Falcons that season
they went to Philly for a game and they got
down early and they didn't quite have the drop back
game to get back into it. Or you've seen games
where like the forty nine ers have had games where
they get down early and now you're like, all right,
you got to you got to figure out how to
drop back and throw without like all this misdirection stuff
because the defense is gonna be fall for it. But

(07:25):
you still have the run game and defense that should
like keep you up in those games where Sam Duck
after be teams like this, this team is better than
I thought they were gonna, be honest, because I thought
the defense because but the offense being this good and
James fam I'm taking a step speed the best receiver
in the league this season, man like they have a
lot of five power man like that that that rams
game to need that that you lost, you should still

(07:47):
feel pretty good about them. Just base on that performance.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
No, absolutely, Charles McDonald four verts from Yahoo Sports showing
us you know, Charles, you look at the teams right
now who lead the league in turnovers at turnovers given away?
Number six Commanders not in the playoffs, Number five as
of today, Baltimore not in the playoffs. Number four, Cincinnati

(08:11):
with twenty not in the playoffs. Number three, the Saints
with twenty not in the playoffs. Number one the Minnesota
Vikings twenty six averaging to a game, definitely not in
the playoffs. And number two on that list, the Seattle
Seahawks are leading the league in turnovers with twenty three.

(08:31):
Could you imagine if that was cut in half, this
team would be undefeated.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Yeah, it'd be one of the bee one of the
best teams in like the history. League got back right,
because the base performance is so strong and sometimes sometimes
it is helpful, just like to look at Dana, let
you just pull out all the turnovers, so you can
just see like how are we moving, Like when we're
out shoot ourselves with the foot, they're still lunch at
the top of the league in those pats. You just

(08:57):
got to think like you can just kind of cut
down on the turnovers and and even like like you
got to do you have to be you have like
kind of look at it too from the standpoint of, well,
you're not going to be facing Brian Floyd's in the playoffs,
so you know, you don't have to worry about that one.
Because man, that was that was a rough rience for Sam.
Oh yeah, Max Rosmer, you know, they just they just

(09:17):
don't really have any worry about town here, so it
wasn't too much of a problem. Uh the crystalk thing, Uh,
he has like two data points on maybe not being
struggle for Sam, but I think he stress the people
that Vikings the Viking slash last year. It was again
it's it's funny to laugh at Sam because he is

(09:37):
prone to those mistake games. But that was mostly about
the offensive line that's all getting hurt in the final
month of the season. And then you go into that
Rams game and you have you're on like O T four. Uh, guys,
who are playing in preseason against that rams se sense
and then it's Sam, Like then that's going to exacerbate
the word from Sam, but ten facts, like anytime he
sees like nine or ten sacks, that's like a whole

(09:59):
offense problem. That's not jets like on any one person.
So you have to imagine that that won't happen again.
I don't think you're gonna throw four picks again. Like
if you just throw two picks in that game, you
you probably win, you know, fairly comfortably, because the problem
was it was the constant field position. But like you
held him at these fast like four yards to drop back,

(10:19):
and you know, barely fifty percent passing even with the
advoctated situation. So man, like they're they're they're they're good, man,
they're really really good. They just got to cut down
them on the turnovers and and hope that you can
stay in like positive game script so that Sam doesn't
really have to do anything so he can do what
he does best, turns back to the defense, and a
Rick can play action shots because that's when he like
really really is good at I think I don't know

(10:42):
more so than any other person player in the league.
But like his physical skill set, it's all lined up
like you can just eat down explosive like con seem
this year.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Charles McDonald breaking it down four verts from Yahoo Sports. Charles,
and you know, while we were talking, I wanted to
check some things. So we're talking about teams, and I
mentioned the Seahawks are second worst in the league in
turnovers behind Minnesota. They've got twenty three. The Rams only
have eleven, and they have the same record. That tells

(11:14):
me all I need to know is how elite Even
if I needed any more type of you know, empirically
quantifiable data, Charles, that's how great this cause you like,
think about that, Like I said, if you just divided
that in half and cut down from twenty three to

(11:36):
what the Rams have turned over this year eleven right
then and there, Charles, you're this team probably right now,
and they're not too shabby as it is. They're probably
twelve and one, maybe thirteen and er.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yeah. Yeah, so seriously, And it's interesting because I feel like,
like the fact they have his main turnovers still, you know,
you only you're almost doing really, I don'tways really consider
it when I'm talking about like Super Bowl, but yet
to turn the ball over, but they could turn the
ball over, but to still give up zero points. You know,

(12:11):
like that's that's that's where where it's a little bit
different for them. And and there's also that there's gonna
be a regression on some of this stuff. Man, Like
you see you see it with the Rams where Goffer
he went on that that insane streak. I don't remember
how many touchdowns he threw without their interceptions, but like
the efficiency was really out of this world. And then

(12:31):
you know, you get to Carolina and they start showing
up in bunches because because what the people really where
people know at their hearts, but what they don't want
to admit in real time is that there's a lot
of luck involve the turnovers being in the right place
for the right time, actually holding onto the ball when
you're not a player who hold them to both deepen
the players, or like a fumble bounce the wrong way,
which is something that is incredibly random, uh, just based

(12:54):
on the shape of the ball. But those things do
tend to ease out over seasons. So you've seen the
Rams kind of like pile up and turn over still
win these games, except the Carolina one and I do
think you're probably gonna see a decrease from Seattle because
it's just like outlier stuff to be turning the ball
over that many times without you know, like taking them

(13:14):
or it's just an outline forts just to turn the
ball over that many times. Good teams will figure it out.
Seattle is a good team, uh, their Super Bowl contenders,
and their offense is so much better than I thought
it was going to be. Like I thought it looked
a little bit congested based on like the personnel they
had the spring. But when Jason and Jayson turns out
to be the best receiver in the league, that alleviates

(13:35):
a lot of stuff. And and what's cool about where
Seattle is on offenses like you obviously you can just
look at the personnel and though you still get a
lot better here at certain spots, like you can upgrade
your wide receiver team, you can still make people fund
of the offensive line, it's still used to add like
other spots. It's exciting times exciting time. I got to
I gotta say I'm a little jealous with Seahawks fans

(13:56):
right now because my team we all got nothing.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Well I mean not for not listen you guys, and
and I heard different reasons why you're you're a Falcons.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Fan, right you said yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
But here's what I heard, Like Arthur blank Man, you
guys could have hired Belichick instead, you hired Raheem Morris
and now you're paying for it. And you could have
hired the good Belichick, not the one that's been completely
brainwashed by his twenty four year old gold digger girlfriend,
but the one, the one that finished in last place
in the ACC with North Camp, but the one that

(14:30):
was coming off six Super Bowls. So I think it
changed needs to be made. Let me ask you this,
not in terms of belief, Okay, go ahead.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
I was going to say, hey, I watched way too
much football that you and t team got a lot
better as the season little on I'm fortunately did just
weren't comperent enough to win. But like the one that
we saw get blood out was one that finished the
season totally different teams. I think Bill said out a
little bit and they got twenty recruit classes year watch out.
I buy them, Bill Belchie stops.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Well, by the way, Charles, they couldn't be any worse, man,
they could. I mean when you're when you're losing to
Wake Forest in Duke, Well, then again, Duke just won
the title, but you're losing to teams like that and TC.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
I know. They literally put the ball in the kicker's
hand to win the game. Literally, who was expecting that.
I didn't give him too much traps for that, because
that's praised that many das that he actually even attempt
at that.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
So, oh, by the way, I will know. I'm a hurricane.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
I know all about Manny Diaz, trust me all about
Charles McDonald four verts. I got to ask you this
and and I want to get because you're objective as
possible and being on the outside looking in you you
know you don't have a horse in the race here.
Not belief, but trust. On a scale of one to ten,
you can do decimal points two ten being the most

(15:54):
that you trust. How much do you trust Sam Darnold
to win a divisional playoff off game and maybe the
NFC Championship?

Speaker 2 (16:03):
How much do you trust him?

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Mm hmmm, I guess uh. I mean just just Sam
like a five, okay four or five A right? Yeah,
but within as a piece of everything around him, like
it would affect my confidence not at all, because that's

(16:25):
like how that's how much like I like the infrastructure,
Like you guys have like probably the best defense to
play callers in the league, one of the best offensive
play callers, Jason had like that that this ridiculous season
where you know, yesterday he's making a j Terrella crazy
in the second half, Like the pieces around him are

(16:46):
so good that it's like you you can limit his
impact on the game. And like I said, man, like
even that Rams game that you lost outside the four,
you're really moving the ball well uh and they're moving
they were moving the ball better than the Rams. You
just can't shoot yourself from the foot like Sam sam
By himself though you know we'll see because he still

(17:10):
is Sam Darnold at times. But man, like you're really
insulated well here at to kids all the run and
and and it's it's he didn't have the defense, would
be a little a little worried. But like we've watched
games where they turn the ball over and they survived
because Loton didn't playoff on the other side.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
So you're gonna be all right, all right, five, I
don't but I see where you're coming from. And you
know what I have to tell you. Yeah, he improved
in the second half. He threw three touchdown pass He
was great. I had about six and a half last week.
I'm down to a five and a half today. So
I'm right there with you. I there's a part of
me now I just and it's like yesterday, like, oh, well,

(17:47):
you know what, No it was. There's there's been a
bunch of them that weren't his fault. We can't continue
to say well that, no, he's where you're second in
the league in turnovers. Imagine how much better this right
exactly speaking.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
My language, and we we we caught all these quarterbacks
a little bit too much, right. And the thing is
like when you when you talk to them, they know
when they've messed up, Like they don't need to be
like kind of baby like that. I think. I think
it's the way we talk about guys is so weird
and different like instance that that that need our protection. No, Sam,
I know Sam. Sam will come out and say I
messed up. I did that, and I'm going to try

(18:20):
to be better next time. And that's all you really
need as a teammate, you know, I know you're gonna
tell your best you. You might mess up, I might
mess up, but we're still going to keep pushing. Uh
and no one, no one needs to be out here
babing each other. Man. Just you be a professional. Treat
them like professionals. I agree.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
I so, hey, listen, man, even in college, these guys
get graded and you know, spending time in Miami. I mean, listen,
I could tell you fifteen years ago to Corey Harris
was being slammed more than the Dolphins starting quarterback. I
mean that's when you're in there. I remember that, yes, right,
you when you get to that level, man, listen. And
now these guys are legally getting paid legally. So yeah,

(18:58):
it is an older que year old.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no no.
Zion Williamson was that duke for one year.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
He was no kid.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
He was a man child.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Okay, don't tell me these guys that Cameron Boozer is No,
it's no absolute, He's not a kid. That dude is
an absolute, unbelievable player. So Charles, hey, man, it was
great to talk to you, and I'm with you hopefully
the next time I talked to you, whether before or
right when the playoffs are starting we'd love to get
you on sooner than later. Maybe you're whatever, maybe your

(19:27):
trust factor and Sam Donald will go up a little
bit from a five.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
I'm hoping because I'm with you, man, am I at
a five and a half right now?

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Sam, Sam, Sam Sam are really Sam's school. He's real
coool like that. It's just funny like watching them watching
him play, because I think ultimately he's I think he's
like a slightly of average side so do above average quarterbacks.
But it's different than like other players who like produced
that who's level. Sometimes where the best of Sam Donald

(19:58):
will convince you should we give them a five year,
fifty million dollars per year deal, the worst will say,
oh my god, I don't know if I want to
come back to work tomorrow. And it's just kind of
funny like how that know. It fluctuates like that. But ultimately,
especially since you got to Minnesota, you're just getting way
more high. So I still think there's a chance that
he could be there for a while. He's still a

(20:20):
young guy, barely twenty one when he got drafted, so
you can still just be at the part of your
journey here and ultimately, like like I said, can he
can still get a lot better. This team can get
a lot better. And if Sam can ever get to
a point where like just the the non play action
drop that game where you're just dropping back and reading
the defense, if that improved to like like E level stuff,

(20:45):
I mean that that's a that's a franchise quarterback. So
i'm i'm i'm, I'm very happy for him that he
got to the situation. I'm happy to be wrong about
you know, their idea to flip Geno Smith for Sam Darnold,
because I was a credit to that. That was obviously,
you know, a roundtick by means. But now it's a
lot of fun to watch this offense. And I find

(21:05):
myself getting excited and rooting for the mini games because
they just play. They played football, house spends, they play man,
We're gonna run the ball, We're gonna beat you up.
I love it.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Charles McDonald four vertz follow me out, who sports one
of the best in the business. We'll talk to you soon,

So Terry, he actually called in.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
That's right, we'll open up the phones too, he called in,

I went five and two on picking the locks Friday night.
Light work, just light work. Lee Sterling and I we're

(23:46):
just we're just been on fire recently. I mean there's
you know it is where it is? Let me see here,
all right, So tonight the Eagles and the Chargers. Well,
I think tonight if Jim Harbaugh finds a way. I
don't trust Jalen Hurts throwing the ball. I mean, I

(24:09):
know he's got throw nineteen touchdowns to two interceptions this year.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
So Kid, I'm gonna ask you a question. Would you trust.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Jalen Hurts throwing for more than one and a half
touchdown passes or would you just trust him with rushing
for one touchdown Russia?

Speaker 5 (24:28):
I would trust him for one and a half touchdowns throwing,
you would, just because all right, he's proving it now.
He's nineteen and two on ear. I mean that's you know.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
I mean, granted it's could be a little bit more
on the left, but guy could In Seattle, we could
only be so lucky if our quarterback only through two interceptions.
I mean, that would be that would be amazing. It's
Monday night, the lights are bright in LA. There's gonna
be more Eagles fan I'm gonna go with Kid on
this one. I think let's do this together. Jalen Hurts

(24:58):
over one and a ha half touchdown passes tonight, bet
it now, wait for it, wait for it, thank.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Us later, I said, thank hold on, let's do that again. Ready,
hold on, let's let's do it together. Bet it now,
wait for wait for it, thank us later. There you go, kid.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Jalen Hurts over one and a half touchdown passes. I
love it, I love it, I love it some more.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
There we go.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Bro, all right, you're welcome, You're welcome. It'll be it'll
be a cover, easy cover. Don't worry about it. I'm
gonna be headed over to Muckleshoot after the show today,
literally going over there.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
I'm gonna do that.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Oh by the way, kid, all right, kill this because
this music gets me psyched, and I gotta give you
a bad beat worse than JSN.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
You ready for this, kid?

Speaker 3 (25:53):
What do you got? All Right?

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Kill that music because I because this. It hurts me
because I love that music, and this hurts me to
say this. So yesterday I'm at Muchel's shoot and I
did some parlays. Okay, I lost on the JSN. I
had I'd a Sam Darnold slash JSN parlay, So kid
yesterday Joe Burrow over two fifty one and a half

(26:15):
passing yards. Jack Matthew Stafford over two and a half
total passing touchdowns. Jeck he did he went nuts in
the third quarter one leg left win five hundred dollars.
Patrick Mahomes over two hundred and thirty eight and a
half passing yards. He throws three effing interceptions. Killed me, couse.

(26:42):
I mean I didn't bet five hundred. I bet seventy
eight dollars and twenty five cents, but I would have
won five hundred dollars.

Speaker 5 (26:46):
I mean, how many dropped the receivers have?

Speaker 2 (26:48):
Oh I no, oh no, I don't oh oh, Rice
Kelsey take a pig one.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Hey, I'm glad you brought that up because I can
say this on equivocally and controvertibly. I'm not trying to
be loudmouthed, blowhard on the air and trying to be
hyperbolic by any stretch of the imagination. Julian saying the
Heisman Trophy candidate quarterback at Ohio State they lost on Saturday.

(27:14):
By the way, I had Indiana Hoosiers under team total
seventeen and a half. You're welcome on that one too.
Five and two in the weekend Julian saying, right now
has better wide receivers to throw to than Patrick Mahomes does.
He has Brandon Innis, Carnell Tate, Carnal's going to be
a first rounder and the best player in college football

(27:35):
who won't win the Heisman, but he's the best player
in college football. Would be the number one pick in
aprils draft. He can't go out because he's only been
out of high school two years removed, and he'll be
the number one pick and the twenty twenty seven NFL Draft.
Jeremiah was a bulldog. Smith Ohio State has better receivers

(27:56):
than the Kansas City Chiefs, and the KANSAA Chiefs went
to three straight Super Bowls.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
I'm dead serious. I'm dead serious. Jeremiah Smith, Carnell Tate,
and Brandon Innis are better than the trash that Patrick
Mahomes has to throw to with the you and you're right, kid,
if there weren't that many drops, Kareem Hunt two you
see that one of Kareem Hunt.

Speaker 5 (28:21):
No, that's all I'm saying. If if they catch the football,
you probably get that bet. Yeah, I would bet because
I didn't mean to say that twice. But my point
is Travis Kelsey, he dropped the deep ball they intercepted
that was probably like twenty plus yards.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Easy, you add up all those yards that. By the way,
did you know kid last night listen to this? Did
you see the statistic they threw up last night on NBC?

Speaker 3 (28:42):
What you got?

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Patrick Mahomes had a career worst nine straight incompletions and
by the way, I will guarantee you seven or eight
of them were not his fault. Seven or eight of them,
nine straight incompletions, Patrick Mahomes, of all nights, I bet
on you, I rely on you, I need you.

Speaker 5 (29:01):
That reminds me of one of my friend. He took
a Steph Curry bet to make I think it was
like two and a half threes. He was like, Oh,
I'll fo right for a couple hundred bucks on that.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
He made one.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
Oh when I tell you my friend was so upset.
He texted me and was like, what world does Steph
Curry and not make two threes? So what are you
talking about? Look at the stats? I said, Oh, he
went one of whatever. It's like, yeah, I bet on
that game. I thought he was going to have a
good night because he had been in a slump which
would make sense over two and a half.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Yeah, yeah, only made one.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Well, there was there was a there was a beat
that actually a bad beat that happened this weekend. It's
now people wanted to be investigated. I'll get to that
coming up next. And don't forget Hot Take Monday. Kid

Casino today. Literally, Uh, I gotta stop somewhere and get
some coolant for the car. And after that, I'm the

(30:15):
head of a Muckle Shoot. I'm gonna place a bet
for me and you on Jalen Hurts over one and
a half touchdown passes at Muckle Shoot tonight.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
If I win, I'm gonna text you the ticket. You
and missus Kidd are gonna get half the winnings. You
don't have to put up anything. I'm gonna I'm gonna
do it. Okay, so you you will end up giving
you something. No no no no no no no no
no no no no no no no no no no no.
I won't take it. It's a win win, no lose
for you, no loss for you, because you convinced me.

(30:46):
I'm with you. I think one and a half touchdown.
AJ Brown's balling now and got heart like listen these
guys like you know, I know Devonte got hurt a
little bit. Like listen, one and a half touchdown passes tonight.
I'm feeling I'm feeling good.

Speaker 1 (31:01):

people right now are thinking that the refs could have
been in on it. We'll get to that next and
hot take Monday, your chance to win a plattered board
said sandwiches coming up at noon. Don't forget kid, Let's

this show.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
And I didn't. There are no bullets left in the
verbal machine gun. They're empty, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Yeah, at that point, I'm like Tony Montana coming out
with the with the bazukoh and he goes say hello
to my little friend, and that was Notre Dame, and
all the bullets are out on you. So I highly
implore you, wherever you can find podcasts MJ in the midday,
Notre Dame Rant ten minutes of your life.

I you know, when you can incorporate degeneration X the Rock, Scarface, Kodak, Black,
Rick Ross, Rudy Uh, girls on South Beach as opposed

(33:14):
to South South.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Bend and you could put that all in a in
a blender. Oh, it's just oh, it's just unbelievable. I mean,
it's like, just just go and just listen to it.
Notre Dame Rant, it's up ohen, it is sick.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
It is elite.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
All right.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
I'm sorry yesterday for you gamblers out there, because I
know I got killed last night on mahomes and I
don't blame Patrick. I blame his freaking receivers. These guys
couldn't catch a cold even in Kansas City when it's
ten below last night, these guys sucked Kelsey.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
By the way, Kelsey, retire, retire, so I don't have to.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
See you and your annoying, effing fiance on TV in
the in the UH suite anymore.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
I don't want to see it. You're done, you have
no more time left on your contract. You were washed.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
Having been in New England, in Boston media market for
the last three years of Tom Brady era, you gotta remember, man,
there was a time Bill and Tom, after winning their
first three Super Bowls.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Went a decade without winning their next three.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
Well, in Kansas City, they've got to get to the
next Bye, by Kelsey, it's time to get The only
players to me that I'm keeping are, obviously, you know, fifteen,
Chris Jones, h M, Trent McDuffie, you double them. I'm
not keeping many people. There's a lot of people that
I am not keeping. They need to move around. But

(34:48):
for those of you yesterday I feel for you, including
Dave Portnoy, even though you don't. I don't care how
much money he loses because he's worth so much money.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Anyway.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
If you had the Denverkos minus eight and a half,
I feel sorry for you because at the end of
the game, the Raiders were driving down and there was
a pass that was caught and the refs made some
BS penalty because the Broncos player kept the Raiders player

(35:21):
down too long and they gave him an extra fifteen
yards and it set up a Daniel Carlson field goal.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
And guess what that did. If you had the Broncos,
it killed the spread. And if you had the under
it went over on that field goal. And a lot
of people are saying they want that investigator. If you
watched it, it looked like the refs were in on it.
It looked really, really bad, really bad. So it was

(35:50):
the worst beat ever. So I feel for you, guys.
I feel for you guys.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
All right, coming up next, we'll open up the phone
lines at two oho six two eight six ninety five
ninety five.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
