rooting on the Vegas Golden Knights against our Seattle packs,

had a great time last night and it was fun,
and we had a great time yesterday just being here

just everything. It's almost like I said, I got to
pinch myself and realize that that we are here, and
it's like, you know, I mean, it's just it's unbelievable.

say that, uh, Circa has been one of the best
places that I've done a remote show, like remotely broadcasting.

Atlanta Christian Academy straight out of high school. He had braces.
He was such a young, skinny Kennedy morphed into this
herculean like Greek god. I mean, if you ever, if
there's any guy that you ever wanted to trade upper
bodies with or bodies with, period, it would be Dwight Howard.
Like Dwight Howard still to this day, dudes got like

less than one point three percent body fat. He is
chiseled like granted well Shack has always been hard on
Dwight his entire career, and well, let's just say that
it's all coming to an end.

guys to the final four last week, and they brought
him out during the games, and Carmelo was there, Sylvia
Fowls was there, and Dwight Howard was there.

Still I met him when I covered the Magic when
they made a run to the finals and nine and uh,
the thing that I remember the most about that series.
First of all, they were a massive underdog in the
Eastern Conference Finals against Lebron James. Lebron James and Cleveland
Cavaliers that year I think won like sixty five or
sixty six games.

And the nation was rooting for the Cavs, no doubt.

And I watched Dwhite Howard, Hido, Turklu Rapah Auston, Jamiir Nelson,
j J Reddick was on that team and they took
down Cleveland in six and it was like wow. And
I remember going in that series and even back then
on first take and with Skip Bayless, he was the

main guy, not Stephen A. Smith, it was Skip Bayless
just show. Back then, hey, they said who would you
rather start an NBA team with Dwight Howard or Lebron James,
And people back then were saying Dwight Howard. Now, he
never achieved a level after that run against the Lakers,
And I will never forget after it was the start
of Game four, it was two three, and I remember

Tiger Woods and Ewan Nordigrin were sitting in front of me.

So this was way, this was you're dating yourself.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
No, no, but this was five months before she took
a nine iron to his Cadillac. Well whatever, before the
whole thing went down and the world found out that
Tiger was what is exactly the husband of the year,
but no whatever, regardless, But and that whole time, it
was it was like he could never quite get back

to that level. But Dwight Howard was him for a while,
and Shaq bullied him for most of his career. And
and I thought, Dwight Howard, who stuck up for himself,
And I thought for Dwight Howard to want Shackton to
walk him out with Kevin Garnett and Kreem Abdul Jabbar.
I said, you know what, that's a that's an unbelievable
gesture by Dwight Howard because she was the one who

looks like the bigger person, the better person, not Shaq.
Shack's been bitter and he's been a bully. And to
Dwight how a lot of people, I love Shack but
at times he can be a bully.

I think that that is an ultimate sign of respect
from both sides. Yes that Dwight Howard said, yep, I
want him to walk me out, and Shacka said, yep,
I'll do it like that.

awesome for that award, and uh it was. It was
just this reminds me of that where.

I know shaq'son Entertainer Listen, Shaq is people don't realize it.
Two things about guys that people look at and they
have this perception of Shaq and Gronk. You have no idea.
How freaking smart and a shrewd of a businessman Shaquille

there's a plethora of them. He gets four paychecks, one
for talent fee. He owns the production company that does
