if you take away Cats, youknow, his six files and his
you know, four turnovers, justyou know, ten dumb mistakes there,
if you take those away, itwould have been a pretty flawless game.

Seriously, for the most part,I really like what Kat did tonight.
You know, he only played thirtyminutes, which is a lot less than
he usually plays. We see KyleAnderson with twenty five minutes tonight, it's
a lot a lot more. Butbut no, Kat, me and Nordo
talked about it this morning on nineto noon. We said, I gotta
I We kind of argued. Hesaid he wants to see Kat's first shot
be at three, and I said, I want to see him get to

the rim. And that's what hedid. He got to the rim,
you know, got an early scoreat the bucket, and you know,
he goes nine at thirteen. Night, Like, if we can get Karl
the Towns to go nine to thirteen, I think, you know, we
have a lot of really good stuffgoing for us. He goes four or
five from three, shot the ballreally well, just a couple of dumb
little mistakes you know four. Youknow, I say ten mistakes, but
actually, you know, a coupleof those turnovers were offensive files. So

he take away that, you know, Kat was a plus fifteen and I
only played thirty minutes, but butplus fifteen impacted the game at a really
high level. And then you know, I want to give a second shout
out. This guy's hit a zeroplus minus. But I thought Kyle Anderson
was great tonight defensively, played twentyfive minutes, only took three shots,
made one of them. But youknow, the Wolves did a lot of
different stuff defensively tonight. We sawearly we saw Ant was guarding Luca,

and then we saw Jada McDaniels onKyrie and that that worked early. You
know, Kyrie with with kind ofa downer game, sixteen points, eighteen
shots. You know, obviously Lucasstill kind of did his thing twenty eight
points, but took them twenty oneshots to do it. So those two
combined and they shoot thirty nine shotsand they only score, you know,
forty four points, Like you're gonnatake that every day of the week.
That's a that's a winning formula forthe Timberwolves. Absolutely, this is the

looks like the Timberwolves that got themselvesto the Western Conference Finals. You mentioned
it. They did some different stuffdefensively. You highlighted it very early on.
We were watching the game down atthe mall. Shot out everybody that
came out away. That was aton of fun down in the road,

away. You called out the Wolvesplaying a two to three zone, and
you said that that's a big reasonwhy that they were so much better defensively
tonight than the past game. Justa huge switch. You know, they
obviously need to switch something up anytimeyou're down three to zero. And Chris
Finchman in this post game, youknow, you got to you gotta throw
different things, you gotta throw differentbodies, you gotta throw different defensive looks.
And we saw the two three zoneearly in the first half, and

then and then we saw it kindof come back for a little bit there
in the second half as well.And I love the way they kind of
did it too. They didn't,you know, force and go to it
the whole game and and they youknow, they went away from it for
a little bit, they came backto it. Like that's how you keep
kind of those offenses under their toes. Like you know, Luke if he
if he's comfortable out there. Youknow, you even saw it tonight he
was, he was awesome. Butyou know he he ends up with twenty

eight, fifteen and ten. Youknow, Tennis, he's gonna he's twenty
one. Though. Yeah, Imean that's what That's what it is right
there, that that's what that's whathelps you. But but I'm talking about
you know, if your defense,if you're switching up different stuff, you
know, it makes him, youknow, question what passes he's going to
do. And obviously he's still goingto make some of them. But yeah,
we just did a lot of reallygood different stuff tonight. I think
the Wolves obviously came out with allthe energy. But but I give us

a credit on the defensive end.We only we hold Dallas to one hundred
points. You know, Dallas isa team that that wants to get that
score up there. They want Kyrieand Lou could have thirty apiece and they
want PJ and Daniel Gafford and Jones, dat chip In their ten and that
just wasn't the case tonight. Sogive credit to the Wolves defense. I
think they did a little, youknow, a little bit of everything,
some really good stuff. And youknow, also credit to a guy like

Kyle Anderson coming off the bench playingtwenty five minutes and just kind of being
that that defensive glue for the TimbervilSenate. Yeah, they needed it.
They needed every single bucket from everysingle guy. They have won two,
three, four, five different guysin double digits. All of the starters
reached double digits. Even Rudy Gobert, I thought, had some really key
buckets at the free throw line downlate in that fourth quarter, and it

seemed like he was involved a lotmore in the offense tonight than he had
been in the past. Even obviouslyhe doesn't. You didn't put up crazy
numbers. He had thirteen points,but it definitely felt like Rudy it was
an intentional thing to get Rudy goinga little bit. Yeah. I mean,
this is a stat line that Ithink is just is Rudy esque.
You play forty minutes and then yougo four or five, so you're not
forcing getting shots up, and youscore thirteen points and have you know,

ten rebounds. I like to seethose rebound numbers up a little higher.
I think. You know, Dallasobviously, you know they crashed the offensive
glass super hard tonight. They outrebounded us on the offensive glass ten to
six, but we out rebounded themon the game forty to thirty eight.
But no, we gotta find waystoo for Rudy just to continue to continue
to be an impact. Obviously defensively. You know, he's the DPOY Defensive

tonight he was. He was prettygood offensively. There's a little stretch there
where I actually tweeted out. Iwas like, stop giving the ball to
Rudy and then ensuing possession Rudy eurosand lays and then right around yeah,

I thought Rudy was great tonight.He handled some some little drama there.

was feisty out there. Man.We have never seen that kind of fire

and attitude from Rudy Gobert. He'stalking smack to Derek Jones Junior. He's
talking smack to Luca don Jit stoodover a Mohammad Ali esque at one point.

Timberwolves team that looked like their backsare against the wall and then that they're
desperate, And you're right, andI think the whole team that that way.
Obviously we highlighted Rudy right there.But Anthony Edwards starts off this game

with nine really quick points. Youknow, me and you have talked about
it. I've people are probably sickof me hearing it. But I just
love when Anthony Edwards gets to therim. And there was a couple of
times a night where I thought heshould have gotten some more foul calls and
he did. He ends up shootingeight free throws. But you know the
free throws thing too. It wasreally good for the Wolves. We got
to the line twenty five times,but we only made sixteen of them.

Sixty four percent. Not great.Fortunately pull out the win in with that
tonight. But no, I justI just love the mindset. I talked
about it this morning and nine tonoon, we're gonna we're gonna see what
kind of Timberls team this is.Like it's so easy fold it in and

on a vacation. But the Wolvesdidn't didn't seem like they wanted that tonight.

some really good stuff in the offensebend, still not super clean, but

now that Dallas lost one, youknow, Dallas is gonna come back punching,

was a huge, huge help forthe Timberwolves that he was out tonight.

fire now. The Timberwolves and watchwhat happens, and that momentum will carry

in every single one of these games, but just haven't been able to close
out, haven't been able to execute, Parker. What was different in their

and one. And I get partof it is that Kyrie and Luca just
didn't have it the same way thatthey had it before. But part of
that has got to be our defense, right, Yeah, I mean it

the maturity of each other and obviouslyKyrie's been in the league for a while
and he's a very mature player.But Luka Dancis is kind of coming along

stretch, you know, oftentimes,you know, it leads to you get

in wins with the mature squad.But tonight we saw we saw a mature
Wolves team. There was stuff throughoutthe game that was a little immature,
some of the turnovers and some ofthe you know, just missed assignments,
but down the stretch, we sawhim just do the right stuff. You

which which helped. And you know, anytime you're getting big three as

it helps. Anthony Edwards, youknow, gets a really nice pull up
and after that one went in,I knew it was game. But no,
I think this Wolves team is justthey knew their back was up against
the wall. They knew they neededto, you know, make the right
plays on the stretch, and ifthey didn't, then they would have lost
and gone home and it would havebeen all over. So credit to those
guys for realizing what it takes andhopefully, you know, they see it

of faith as Wolves fans, andit's something that we can be excited about

like at halftime he was going tohave another one of those games. I

not like this. And then hegets red hot and the second half ends
up finishing the game nine of thirteen, four for five from three after going
zero for eight in the last game. Just a gigantic bounce back game for

Wolves really needed it as a team, and obviously that's that was the missing
piece. Clearly is that that's themissing piece that the Wolves needed. Everybody

to play more minutes than he usuallydoes, but he's a guy that's ready,
man. And it's like, youknow, if we're able to get
on past this series and we playa Boston team, then you know it
might not be a Kyle Anderson series. Who knows, but like right now,

Denver, but that's been invaluable tothe Wolves success he has. And
that's it, and that's the besttrade about it. Guys. If you
can find a way to put yourego in pride aside it and you know,

town and sometimes obviously he's played somebad games. He's not the offensive juggernaut
or anything like that. But KyleAnderson provid He provides so many He's the
Swiss Army Knife of this team.He provides so many different things defensively,

offensively. He's been invaluable to thisteam success in this series. Shout out
to Kyle Anderson. We got anothertext on the text line saying any theories
as to why the free throw shootinghas been so bad. I mean that
just happens sometimes when you're when you'rehooping right, there's no there's no real
like breakdown of why people are missing. It just happens. Right. It's
one of the funniest things to me. And I don't mean to, you

know, have any offense to thelike the Texter, because he could be
genuinely curious curious, but sometimes youjust missed the shot, like you know,
and yeah, we you know,at our level and at my level
and and everything when you play atyour bos to make it and we're trying

Rudy Gobert is seven three, Likeit's hard as a seven three got to
shoot free throws, so it's likeI think he missed three or four of

I wouldn't read too far into that. And you know the other thing is
too when you play on different courts, there's different depth, perceptions and all
that kind of stuff. So it'slike I wouldn't read too far into it.
I'm more excited that we got theretwenty five times the night. I
think we can continue to get theremore. I hope Anthony Edwards sees that

he got there early tonight and andthat's a priority that he makes for for
game five and then yeah, butI wouldn't read too far into the free
throw thing. I think it's justit's just sometimes you make it, sometimes
you don't. But that's just thenature of the game. Sometimes it happens.
But you just talked about Anthony Edwards. It felt like, I mean,
yeah, Anthony Edwards had a bigbounce back game last game, but

it felt that felt like more likevolume shooting, kind of forcing it.

It felt like his natural game.He felt like he had his speedback,
his energy back. It felt likethat was the Anthony Edwards that we've been

just like an energy kind of thing. I mean, everybody wants to be

like, oh, Anthony Ambers's gotto force in, get in the lane
and do this, and that.Everybody's got their opinions on what Aunt should
do. But at the end ofthe day, Aunt just has to play
Ant's game. Like if he's inthere trying to force it that that's not

there blocking everything. So it's nota deal where he needs to come out
and try to force things. Hejust needs to play his game. He

needs to get to his spots,continue to you know, get to the
rim early, set the pace atthe rim, set the tone, try
to get a couple of fouls,get to the free throw line. You
know, he loves his you know, shots off the glass, operate in
the mid range, you know,get to those easy buckets, and then
expand your game, especially in thepick and roll offense if they're going to
go under you or if you're gonnabe able to create separation off of the
