Speaker 1 (00:00):
Please listening Morning Drive with Christie Live on demand. Welcome
to your Wednesday. It's May twenty first, and some big news.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Oh we got yes, okay, what's going on Chrissie news.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I'm excited to have her know. I have been living
in a hotel for the past two weeks. Yes you
have drum roll please? Oh I am no longer living
in a hotel. I am on a couch. I am
au couch surfing. Are you CouchSurfing?

Speaker 3 (00:34):
And for those that are wondering why is Christy living
in a hotel, it is because Christy decided I'm gonna
sell my condo and it's sold pretty quickly, which is great.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
But you didn't think no place to live. Nope. I
escaped the evil hoa and that was enough for me.
I was like, I will figure it out, but it's
taking me longer to figure it out. So I am
out of the hotel and I am on my friend
Paul's couch. Okay. So it's a comfortable couch, it's a
love seat. So you know, I'm five ten, not not
as big as me, but you know, sprunted up and

(01:07):
I'm super happy to be on the couch. Okay, he
didn't give up the bed for you.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
He has an air mattress, so we're both wait a minute, wait,
how long has he been living in that place? That's
besides the fact that's.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Like four years. What what you know? Dudes do things differently,
so you do. But Christy's just happy to be couch
surfing on a couch, all right. So I'm moving on
up like George and Weezy moving up. But you know, hey,
I got a roof over my head and for that
I am blessed and thankful, and I'm thankful to be

(01:44):

phone call from his niece, Hey, do you want to
go to a party with us in Santa Rosa.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
He's straight ditched us. Oh that's all bad. He's still
in Santa Rosa. No he's not jes he is. No,
he's not still in Dona Rosa. My mom is living.
What do you mean one, it's still in Santa Rosa.
He left the house on Saturday.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Yeah, he went to a party and then they were like, Okay,
we'll stay at night.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Then that turned into we're gonna stay another night.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
My dad has not come home, and my mom checked
the bank account. She's like, I could tell a thoroughly nettle.
He's spending all the money. I guess he's having a
good time. But my mom was like, oh no, your
dad's gonna get it when he comes back home. She's
not taking his call. She's upset and checking the bank

(03:20):
account at that.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Well, if you start to see charges from the Pink
Pony clubs and you know said, I don't even want
to be a part of this.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Let me know when you get home, Dak, because I
do not want to be here when you get home
and Mommy's home.

Classic Kids one three points Crazy with Christie Live in
morning Drums.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Well, so how aboard the crazy train? Just want to
remind you. At seven twenty you can grab free tickets
to the San Mateo County Fair and a parking pass
which is always nice. You know, yeah, parking's expensive. Save
your money. Buy some funnel cakes and a doll whip
and turkey leg and fried oreos and fried twinkies and
a corn dog. Hungry all right? Today, the crazy train

(04:51):
is heading on over to China. There is nothing like
a girlfriend who was upset trying to get revenge. And
that's exactly what one woman did. Her boyfriend of a
year broke up with her, so a woman in China
decided to give him a special delivery. This woman had
a ton of onions delivered to this man's house. And

(05:17):
when I say a ton, I'm talking about like a
ton of onions, like pounds, hundreds and hundreds of pounds
of onions. It took the delivery driver four hours to
get all of these onions off the car and drop
them at his front door. Wait, why why onions? Because
she said, I've been crying for the last three days,

(05:40):
and I want you to cry as much as I've
been crying. So this woman's been her hard earned money
to have hundreds of pounds of onions delivered to this
man's house. That's crazy. And the picture is going viral
because he's just standing there like, what am.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I gonna do?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
All these all these onions four hours for that poor
delivery guy? Exactly? Heck no, that is your daily crazy
news story. What happened to just king someone's car? Christy?
I mean nor windows, not key the car? Oh my man? Okay, okay,
how she was peeling better after that?

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Get it?

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Like?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yeah, yeah, that's crazy news. Ride the Crazy Train every
weekday around seven, ten and nine forty. And of course
you can always catch these crazy stories on demand. Just
go to Classic Hits one O three seven dot com.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
It's one of three point seven. It's time for the Great.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Debate graduation season. But sometimes that spells drama for families
like Justine. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday always have a
new hot debate and it's always cool when you bring
one to the table. Justine, what's going on?

Speaker 5 (06:51):
So? I'm hosting my niece a graduation party. And when
she was eleven years old, her mom abandoned her and
she really hasn't talked to her mom a lot since,
And recently her mom has reached out to me on
Facebook and asked if she can join in on the
celebrations of her graduation. She wants to come to the
graduation party. And this is a big deal and it's

(07:13):
going to be a big day for my niece. And
I just think that even though she would be happy
to see her mom, it usually comes with drama and
I'm trying to protect her from that for her big day.
But I don't know if that's the right thing to do.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Man, that is a tough situation. But I appreciate you
bringing it to the table. Definitely throw it out there
for you. Thank you all. Good, Thank you, Justine. So
what do you think her mom wants to be in
the picture now graduation? When she say eleven? Yeah, her
mom abandoned her at eleven? Oh, okay, I should have
asked if she's graduating in high school. I'm assuming high
school right now.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
I think it doesn't matter that she should ask her niece,
oh what she wants.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
That's a good idea, Doctor Phil over here, Christie, what
do you say? I'm not sure? Actually really I'm not sure.
But what do you think? Is the question for this
morning's great debate? One eight sixty six nine hundred one
three seven Tap the red microphone on our free iHeartRadio app.

(08:17):
You can always jump in by leaving a talk back.
Justine's niece was abandoned at eleven and now her mom
wants to come back in the picture for her graduation.
But that could mean drama? Yeah, is it worth it?
Can't wait to hear what you have to say about
this morning's great debate. Next on Classic Kid.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
That to the Great Debate Classic Kids one oh three
point seven.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Justine called her niece was abandon when she was eleven
by her mom. But now she's getting ready to graduate
and her mom wants to be back in the picture.
She thinks it might be drama. But what do you
think should she be able to step back in? That's
the question this morning, Anthony, thanks for calling.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
You know, I think the ant has to run up
by the daughter. I mean, I think you don't have
to let the mom know that you're in a buyer,
but really ask her does she want her there? And
if she does, then even if she's a hot mess,
she kind of gotta gotta suck it up because it's
her day.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
That's kind of what pretty Sacarina was saying.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
And you know, and she could go either way, and
it's up to her because you know, if the aunt
makes that decision and the daughter finds out, then that
could cause a rift between her and her aunt. And
if they've already got a good relationship, why why waste
it over someone who hasn't been around all right?

Speaker 1 (09:35):
I will note that boat I appreciate you jumping in, Anthony,
take care, Good morning, Rita. What do you think?

Speaker 7 (09:41):
It is a mess, And I honestly feel that the
mother should not be allowed to go to the party
because you know, embarrassing her is just not what needs
to be done. They can have a reunion maybe the day,
the next day or the day after that, but the
actually event, I think you should just let the mother
just sit that one out, and you know, not make
such a big it's it's just not healthy, all.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Right, no drama. I like that vote. What do you think?
One eight sixty six nine hundred and one three seven.
Justine's niece was basically abandoned by her mom at eleven
and now the mom wants to come back for the graduation,
but it could mean drama. Is it worth it? That's
the question for this morning's Great Debate. You can also

(10:25):
leave a talk back with your thoughts. Tap the red
microphone on our free iHeartRadio apps in tod In Here
from you next on Classic Kid Back.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
To the Great Debate, Classic Kids one oh three point seven.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Thank you so much for bringing great debates to the
table every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Have a new question
and Justine this morning called and said her niece was
abandoned when she was eleven, and now the mom wants
to come back for the graduation party and the big
graduation celebrations. But is it too little, too late? Is
that okay? Is the question, Millie.

Speaker 8 (11:00):
It is tricky. Obviously she ought to consult the daughter.
But also what I've seen is sometimes when people take
care of other people's children, they become territorial.

Speaker 9 (11:14):
And make sure she's doing.

Speaker 8 (11:16):
This with a pureness of heart and not out of
some self interest.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
This is so true. I've seen that happen so many times.

Speaker 8 (11:24):
People have done it to my kids. She still doesn't
speak to me and has all these opinions, and the
people that were leading her, actually their lives aren't going
so well.

Speaker 9 (11:32):
So you know.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
And it's like, if you're helping someone, especially a young person,
you got to look out for their best interest and
put your feelings aside. Thank you so much for jumping
in this morning, Millie. Call anytime, okay, thanks, I got
to talk back from our app anytime you want to
join the fund. Just hit that red microphone on the
free app and sent a message. I'm still looking my

(11:54):
wounds because I was cool at sixteen and the cash
Creek price.

Speaker 6 (11:59):
So generous of mood.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
I would not be welcoming this mother with open arms
at all.

Speaker 9 (12:05):
You got to ask the girl what she wants.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
And I guess to go with that.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
All right, You please call us, because you always leave
talk backs. Please give us call. We'd love to talk
to you. And thank you so much for always jumping
in to the great debates. Marguerite, what do you think?

Speaker 9 (12:26):
Yeah, my ex husband and I we divorced when my
son was a little guy, and he did nothing for
my son. But that was okay because I stepped up
to the plate when it came around to him graduating
from high school. You know, I had no problem with
him showing up. But this is to show you how
karma is. For the first time in several several years,

(12:48):
graduation at Woodside here in Redwood City, it rained, and
they usually have it out on the field. That year
they had it inside the auditorium, So you know, I'm
in there with my friends and all fas, family and
everything for my son's graduation. His father couldn't get in
because it was packed.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Oh I, well, there it is, you know. Hey, good
for you, Marguerite, for stepping up. Christy.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Your mom is a single mom, so you know that's
a lot of work to play both roles.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
It is, So what do you think? Thank you so
much to everyone who jumped in for this morning's great debate.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Pretty Much everyone says, Justine, talk to your niece first,
ask her what she wants, and go from there.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
I think that's best. Yeah, that's what producer Kreena aka
Doctor Phil Alicia said. If it's the crazy well never mind,
there you go. All right. Debate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Back to the music in thirty second Classic.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
