Oh, Mike loves his mother, doesn't He have like a
few of them.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
He has a few smokers, and he's really good at cooking. However,
we get to the house, here comes three o'clock and
I'm like, well, the ribs are not ready. He said,
maybe about another hour. I said, okay, And note that
we didn't eat anything because we were excited about eating
his ribs.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
My sister Cindy was.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
Christy, what time.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Do you think the ribs were done?

Speaker 5 (04:23):
They were supposed to be done at three.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
We were supposed to be done at three o'clock. This was
supposed to be lunch seven o'clock. No, the ribs were
done at ten pm. No, at ten pm. We didn't
even eat. By this time, we're upset and Mike was like, well,
next time, you guys should have brought something to eat.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Don't ever invite somebody to the house for dinner and
tell them what you should have brought something.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
To eat exactly. And it wasn't even dinner. We were
supposed to be going for lunch.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
How long does it take to smoke ribs?

Speaker 4 (04:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Mike was smoking. He was smoking ribs. He was smoking.
That's why I did Todya go on line as a
whole situation. Forget cooking ribs.

our lady of a parricidia.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Okay, basically this.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Priest Okay, this priest got caught hiding a woman underneath
his bathroom sink.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
Uh oh is right.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
It wasn't just any woman hiding in the priest's house
under the sink.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
It was the fiance of one.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Of his parishioners who he was supposed to officiate the wedding.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Oh that is so shady.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
That is crazy.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
The priest and your fiance and then you're gonna have
her hide underneath a sink. So the husband knocks on
the door with his boys. Yeah, and the priest opens
up the door and they bust in. And then that's
when they caught her underneath the sink. The priest is
just wearing shorts, talk about she was just here to
take a shower.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Stop bad.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
Are you kidding me right now?

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 4 (07:09):
So shady?

Speaker 7 (07:10):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (07:11):
I just pulled up the video. The poor girl is
crying because she got caught. Oh yeah, gives a whole
new meaning.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
To forgive me, father because I have sinned, Yes you have.
Oh I carrest me father, for I have sin. Stop it.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Oh that is all bad.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Good Morning Drive with Christy Lye on Classic Kids one
oh three point seven. It's time for the Great Debate.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Oh, it is on and popping.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
This debate is a little heavy, and I've been thinking
about it and I could really use some advice, Oh Christie, Yes, indeed,
so for those of you who don't know, a few
years ago I was hit.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
By a car. Literally, I was walking out of a.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Club in Oakland and a car made an illegal U
turn and drove onto the sidewalk and ran my leg over. Thankfully,
the only thing that got hurt was my ankle and foot.
I could have lost my life, so I'm blessed in
that sense, but it does hurt me every single day.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
So, through the investigation, we found out who the car
belonged to. Turns out I actually know this woman, and
although I don't know if she was driving, it was
her car and she didn't report her car stolen, so
she knows who was driving, so in my eyes, she's
still responsible. So coming up in about a month, there
is a community event. I do a lot of community

(08:38):
work with the LGBTQ plus community, and yesterday I got
the run of show for an event and I looked
down to see who was speaking, and her name is
on the list.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
The person that you think.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
No, I don't think, you know, I know it was
their car. They were arrested.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
They said they were drunk and there was no eyewitness,
so they had to let her go, right, but it
was her car, and she knows who did it.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
If she wasn't.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Driving, So in my eyes, she's still responsible for almost
killing me. You're right, and now she's going to be
at this event, and I don't know if I should
go to the event. I have not seen this person
since since my accident, but I will see this person.
And I was running all these scenarios in my mind, like, Ooh,
what am I going to say?

Speaker 5 (09:19):
How you hit anybody recently?

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Oh, I just want to be I just want to
be so oh or should I just not go? But
then I want to support the community. It's a pretty
big community event. What do you think I should do?
Is the question for this morning's great moral debate.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
I think you should go.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
M h.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
And if it's a conversation that you eventually want to
have later, maybe tell that person like, Hey, do you
think I could talk to you later about something.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
About you almost killing me that part or at least
knowing whoever quote unquote drove your car. Yeah, because this
person stands for anti violence exactly.

Speaker 5 (09:59):
This is what the speak about all day long. This
is their job.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Meanwhile, you're running people down in the streets of Oakland.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
So clearly I'm still in my feelings. There's some trauma.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
I have not dealt with, and I don't want to
do it in the middle of this community event, and
I don't know if I can go.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
And not be shady.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
I think that you should still go, and you shouldn't
allow somebody to affect your emotions so much that you
don't want to go and support this big event, because
I think the event means a lot to you too.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
So I would go if I were you. Oh my opinion,
What do you think I should do? One eight sixty
six nine hundred one oh three seven. Could really use
your help on this one. For this morning's great debate
on Classic Hits three point seven Hits going to slash
their tires? No, I'm just kidding.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Bath to a great debate Classic Kids one oh three
point seven.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
This debate is personal. Do a new one every Monday, Wednesday,
and Friday. A few years ago, I got run over
by a car in Oakland and turns out the person
who owned the car I know them, and now I
have to do a community event with them coming up
next month, and I'm wondering should I go, should I
not go? Should I confront them? So could definitely use

(11:14):
of advice this morning. Joey, what do you think.

Speaker 8 (11:16):
She's the one who should be nervous. You should go
and confront it. Don't be afraid to be in her space,
and maybe even give her a look. She's the one
that's hiding something or keeping something back from you, so
any uncomfortable feeling would be on her cart. You should
just go as business as usual, go for.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
It all right? Thank you. I appreciate that, Joey.

Speaker 8 (11:35):
I remember that would not happen. I felt so bad
for you. I just want some full recompensation to happen.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
Thank you me too. Yeah, I'll let you know how
it goes.

Speaker 7 (11:48):
I'd appreciate it.

Speaker 8 (11:48):
I'll be listening.

Speaker 9 (11:49):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Thanks by bye, Loopy, thank you so much for jumping
into this morning's great debate. Person who ran me over
with a car a couple of years ago is going
to be at an event that I'm doing soon.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Should I go to the event? Should I confront them?
What do you think I should do? Or should I cancel?

Speaker 10 (12:09):
I think you should go because it's an important event
for you, and like she said, don't let anybody muddle
up your emotions. It's keeping you from something that you
want to do. Maybe she'll even come up to you
and say you see you're sorry or something.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Oh, just thinking about it just makes my stomach drop.

Speaker 10 (12:25):
I know, I know. But don't let your emotions get
to get a hold of you, because it's very easy.
Hold your head up high and say I'm going anywhere.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
The writer what all right?

Speaker 7 (12:32):
Our note?

Speaker 5 (12:32):
R Vogue? Good morning, Denise. What do you think?

Speaker 11 (12:35):
Definitely attend? Okay, so this is the kind of an
event that you and body and embraced with love. If
you cheer, you approacher with peace, love in your heart.
But just let her definitely knows, like, Hey, let's connect
some time.

Speaker 12 (12:47):
I need to speak with you about something.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Oh God, Normally I am rainbows and sunshine, but ooh,
she makes me feel not that.

Speaker 12 (12:55):
No, I understand your frustration. We'll sit with you forever
if you don't. If you don't, like, make an appearance
and just like put the peace. We addressed her in
a civil way.

Speaker 5 (13:05):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
And I can feel the goodness in your heart when
you're saying it, so it's rubbing off of me.

Speaker 5 (13:11):
Thank you, Denise, You're welcome.

Speaker 12 (13:13):
Have great Hey, ladies, you.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Too, Where do you stand on this morning's great debate?
Someone hit me with a car. A couple of years ago,
and now I have to do an event with them
coming up. Should I cancel? Should I go? Should I
confront them?

Speaker 5 (13:30):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (13:30):
One eight sixty six nine hundred and one three seven,
or tap the red microphone on our free iHeartRadio app
so you can leave your thoughts.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
It's greatly appreciated. It's classic Kids, Classic Kids.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
One oh three point seven. The great debate continues.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Thanks for the advice, everyone. I got hit by a
car a couple of years ago coming out of a
club in Oakland. In turns out I actually know the driver,
haven't spoken to them, haven't seen them. But now we're
supposed to do an event together for the community next month,
and I'm wondering should I go.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
I don't want to go. I don't want to go,
or should I go and say something like who Christy?

Speaker 3 (14:11):
I just want to say that you weren't just hit
by a car, like your leg was completely run over
and that was very traumatic, It was very dramatic and
yeah it sucked.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Yeah, oh yeah, tell me about I mean, sorry, it
don't like every day I feel.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
But you know, Tim, what do you.

Speaker 7 (14:25):
Think I remember that?

Speaker 5 (14:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (14:27):
Christy, I've known you for a while. You a bigger
person than that. You weren't the one who hit them
with a vehicle. They hit you. Who gives the crud
what they think? You Go do your thing, Take a
deep breath, be yourself. You there for the people. Man.
Don't bring yourself down by someone who won't even admit something.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
So hang it right?

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Yeah, okay, thank you so much, Mike.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
What do you think.

Speaker 7 (14:50):
Calls person out in public brand to light?

Speaker 8 (14:53):
If she don't, this person ain't never going to learn
a lesson.

Speaker 7 (14:56):
She deserves an apology at the minimum.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Yeah, you do, at least an apology, thank you. But
an apology would be admitting to a felony. Well, so,
I don't think I'm gonna get that.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
There's that part, Linda. What should Christy do.

Speaker 9 (15:10):
The idiot driver in the car didn't ever reach out
or ever try and make amends for it. No, I
definitely would go to the function, and the person that
probably won't show up was going to be the person
that did the hitting because they should feel so bad
about it, and Christy doesn't have anything to worry about.

(15:32):
That person doesn't want to make amends, then that's on them.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Okay, I believe that, And karma is Yeah, yeah, I
feel it, Christy.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
I think everyone pretty much said, you need to go
to this event. Okay, it means a lot to you.
You'll probably see the person there or you may not.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
Okay, but go, Okay, I.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Just need to you first check Amazon for boxing gloves.
Oh see what my size is? No, I'm just kidding.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
No, identified my life. I don't even know what I
would do. I'd be like, I'm sorry, please, No, let's
just talk about this.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
But no, what you need to go there, show face
because the event means a lot to you.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Yeah, okay, all right, Well, Karina's choking to death over here,
so we're gonna let her get some water and get.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Back thirty seconds. I was trying to hold it in
Nice Try.
