family has a little bit more than the average family.

Karina's Family Drama. My dog Benita was almost a goner.

Is a Chihuahua, a real dog, though.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
She's a Chihuaha terrier, and she's a family dog. But
the other day, my cousin and my dad were pulling
in the garbage cans from the side of the house.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Uh huh.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
I heard them, didn't think anything of it. An hour later,
I come downstairs and I'm like, hmm, that's weird that
Benita doesn't come and say hi to me.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Uh huh.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
So I'm looking for a Bonnie and I go in
my backyard calling Bonnie, calling Bonnie. No one's seen Bonnie.
Oh wow, it's been an hour. I'm like, where is Bonnie.
So it turns out when they were opening the side gate,
she ran out and we don't have a collar on her.
We don't have her chip, so we're all running out

the house. My mom was already blaming my dad. We're
getting houses. Why did you leave the gate open or
the door open? She ran out?
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Huh.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
My cousin goes up the hill to try to look
for her because we have coyotes in the area.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Oh man.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
But when my cousin went up the street to go
look for her on the dirt road when he was
coming back down, he got broke so bad trying to
look for my dog that both of his hands were
scraped up and bloody.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Oh no, Why are you laughing at him? And he
was just trying to help you.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
I'm sorry, It's funny to me. He was trying to
help me find the dog, and so was my dad.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
So did you find her?
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Why did I find my dog? Like three blocks down
the street, just chilling in somebody's front yard? Really, Like,
this is the third time that my dad almost lost Monny.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Didn't he leave her tied up to like a bakery
in Benicia and forgot about her because he was trying
to get a bag yet.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yes, and he gave her a steak that she wasn't
able to chew and was choking on it. So my
poor dog.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
One let Bonita bolt and now he's the one in
the dog house. Will he be grounded like a bad
boy with fleas or will he be left begging for forgiveness?
