you shipmate or airmen or Marine Corps person, I don't
know what they call each other.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
And then.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Christy, Happy Veterans Day, and thank you for your service.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Thank you very much, and thank you to everyone offering
free food today. And there are plenty of places if
you served in the military or if you're kind of
shady because sometimes they don't check. Most of the time,
they don't check your status when you go get your freebee.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Just a heads up. The list is long.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Applebee's Free Lunch, Chili's Free Lunch, Buffalo Wild Wings, ten
free wings, Dunkin Donuts, you can get a donut, Starbucks.
You can get free coffee, which I already did this morning,
started early. I Hoop, free stack of pancakes, Firehouse Subs,
you get a sub like Combo, California Pizza Kitchen free lunch,
(01:10):
Denny's free breakfast, Little Caesar's free pizza.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
Olive Garden free lunch.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah, that's good, Red Robin, and then Wendy's if you
want to start early, they're doing a free breakfast combo.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Christy, what is your plan of attack? Because I know
you normally write everything out.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Applebee's free lunch, Chili's free lunch, Buffalo Wild Wings, free Wings.
Do I need to go through the whole list again? No,
this list is the plan of attack. If you go
and you served, you deserve to get something free today,
and just you know what, it's not even about.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
The free food, but I do love free food.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
It is kind of cool when you go to all
of the different places and you see all of the
veterans wearing their hats and shirts and you hear about, oh,
where were you stationed or when did you serve?
Speaker 4 (01:55):
So it's also kind of like, you know, as my
mom says, it's.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
The fellow ship. It's not just for the food. It's
for the fellowship as well. So to know people's stories,
which is great. It is kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
And you know, if you're gonna be shady and just
try and get some free food, can't knock the hustle,
but just know at least you know tip.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Well, yeah, there you go, and then we're out the door.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
But that list of places, you know, because some places
are offering veterans free food, but you got to buy
something first, yeah, or half off, you know, but these
are the places that are giving you just straight.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Up free food. Fair and square.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Walk in, get your lunch, walk out, but like you know,
don't be a jerk.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Tip that's always nice.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
And I'll throw the list on our socials at Classic
Hits one oh three seven FM, so that way you
can plan your day as well.
Speaker 3 (02:49):

Speaker 5 (03:20):
I gotta go to this one place link the delivery
and just down the road is a Applebee's that I
go to.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yes, stop by the Applebee's. They have a full Veterans
Day menu for free food and they're giving you a
five dollars gift card that you can use when you
come back too, So definitely go stop by and thank
you so much for calling this morning.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Yo, I just said, Well, I gotta say hi to
Christy because it gets served even though it was in
the water.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Without us, Without us in the navy, the Marines would
just be what walking or rowing boats across the water
to get to their duty.
Speaker 6 (03:59):
So well, you guys have to actually do your work
on the boats and do laundry and cleaning up and everything.
You know, it's so funny, you know what, no matter
what branch we were in, we always have fun messing
with each other.
Speaker 7 (04:12):
We always respect each other and that's the thing that counts.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
And it was a fun being a member of the military,
get to know a lot of people, getting to travel
around the world seeing things, and we respect each other inside.
So that's a you know, want to say thank you
for your service, Glad you served, and glad you're still
here around.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
I appreciate you, mccratey, and thank you so much for
your service, and no matter what branch of service you
were in, and family members included too, because you guys
are right there right alongside of us when we're changing
duty stations or having to go out on a Westpac
or you know, on a ship or underway or something
like that. So thank you for the call, mccratey, Thank
(04:52):

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Eighty minutes of commercial free music.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
I cann't get that started at seven twenty just a
reminder before we hop aboard the Crazy Train. And today
we are rolling out to Miami where Alexander Rodriguez is
sitting behind bars after he got into a little bit
of an argument with his brother.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Alex was just trying.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
To cook his food and his brother just kept yep yep,
yep yep in all over his food, and so he decided, okay,
enough is enough and stabbed his brother in the neck.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Now own you get into arguments with your siblings all
the time.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yes, and you might think about doing something crazy like this,
but actually doing it is insane. His brother is still
alive and when the police finally found him, he was
hiding in a tree, which is also crazy.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Oh wow. And they said why did you why did
you do that to your brother?
Speaker 2 (06:13):
He said, Man, he just kept talking over my food,
you know, and it was annoying.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Yeah, with siblings, Christy, you have a brother, Yeah, so
you know sometimes they just you know, cut on your nerves.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
And in the military, you can't just be reaching over
people's food or talking over people's food.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
That was a no goot. Say that's rude. You know,
if you're trying to cook and someone's.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Talking over your food and little bits of spit or
coming out of your mouth while you're trying to cook, Yeah,
I could. You know, that doesn't make it right. But
I'm just saying, yeah, that is your dainly crazy news story.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
People.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Just breathe count to ten. You can ride the crazy
train every weekday at seven, ten and nine forty and always.

Drive with Christie Live, Classic Kids one oh three point seven.
It's time for the great deba.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Happy birthday to you.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Happy birthday, Shut up, nobody cares about your stupid birthday.
Speaker 4 (07:13):
Like, could you imagine somebody saying.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
That I've seen it before in the midst of your
happy birthday celebration.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
I've seen it. That is not okay, not okay, Chrissy.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
You know, some people think that birthdays are overrated, and
I think those people probably hate puppies and babies too.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
I could be wrong. I don't want to.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Judge, but I'm just saying so. Over the weekend, I
got into a debate with a friend of mine. You know,
your birthday is coming up, producer Karina. Yeah, I'm super
excited about the birthday celebration, planning things. Is it a
big birthday? Well, every birthday is a big birthday. Uh
huh No, every birthday isn't a big birthday. People make
a big deal out of birthdays and blah blah blah,
(07:52):
And I was like, really people think that?
Speaker 3 (07:54):
So they were completely anti birthday celebrations and period.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
So I wanted to ask because maybe they weren't alone.
Do you think that birthdays are overrated? That is the
question for this morning's Great Debate. I say, no, you're
turning another year. This is your life. You get to
celebrate celebrate birthdays.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
But I do have friends that refuse to celebrate any
sort of birthdays. They just don't like it. That's crazy
to me. They don't like the attention.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
I don't like to tell my age, but I'm definitely
always here for a party. What do you think? One
eight sixty six nine hundred and one three seven. Tap
the red microphone if you happen to be listening on
our free iHeartRadio app, and you can always jump in
for the Great debate. Our birthdays and birthday celebrations overrated?
(08:49):
Love to hear your thoughts about this one.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Next back to the Great Debate Classic Kids one oh
three point seven.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Our birthday celebrations overrated? That's the question this morning, Darren,
Thanks for calling.
Speaker 7 (09:05):
No, birthdays are not overrated. Even if you don't know
somebody and you find out it's their birthday, just by happenstance,
always with that person a happy birthday. That's something that
we can always use to make people feel good. Definitely
not overrated.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
I like that any opportunity we get to put a
smile on someone's face. Or spread a little positivity in
the world. Nothing wrong with that. Thank you so much
for the call, Darren. Good morning, Zach. Our birthday's overrated.
Speaker 7 (09:31):
I guess it depends how old you are and how
good the gift is.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Okay, I guess that's one way to look at it.
Speaker 6 (09:37):
My last birthday, you know, I wasn't really that old,
and I wasn't that young, and I didn't get good
enough gifts, so.
Speaker 7 (09:43):
Yeah, it kind of stopped.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Okay, So I guess it can be overrated depending on
the age and the gift count.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
Thanks for the call.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
All right, have a good one.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
Good morning tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Thank you so much for calling in for this morning's
great debate. Do you think birthday celebrations are overrated?
Speaker 8 (10:07):
No, I think you should celebrate the hell out of them.
In fact, you should celebrate the whole month of your birthday.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
You know.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
That's how virgos get down. We do that.
Speaker 8 (10:15):
So, you know what, with all the negative stuff out
in the world, you need to celebrate something good. Might
as well be your birthday.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Okay, I'm here for that.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Tomorrow, how don't your vote.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Have a great day you too, And if you want
to jump in and join the fun.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Do you think birthdays are overrated?
Speaker 2 (10:33):
You can always tap the red microphone if you're listening
on our free iHeartRadio app and send a talk back message.
It's like an old school walkie talkie. You hit the
button and record a message. Or you could just go
old school. Pick up the phone and give me a
call to jump in on this morning's Great Debate. I
always love to hear from you.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Back to the Great Nip Bait Classic Kids one oh
three point seven.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
The question this morning. We do the Great Debate every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday. Our Birthday's over rated, Jennifer.
Speaker 9 (11:10):
I have a six year old and an eight year old,
and I love it every year to celebrate their birthday.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
That is so sweet and bro dold.
Speaker 9 (11:18):
Once you get past your forties, I think it's a
great reason to go and maybe take a week ad vacation,
you know, just to remind yourself to chill out, relax
and enjoy.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
I like that. All right, cool, Thank you so much.
Speaker 9 (11:33):
And I want to stay happy. Veteran say to you, ma'am,
I appreciate your service.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Thank you very much for that, and thanks for jumping
in to join the fun.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
This morning, Jennifer, take care, Mike, what do you think
our birthday's overrated?
Speaker 9 (11:46):
No, you made it.
Speaker 7 (11:47):
You made one more revolution, one more trip around the sun,
and with everythuse been and thanks I've done. That's an accomplishment.
If you're going to celebrate your birthday, hey, you made it.
Keep it going.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Okay here, so many many more on top of that too.
Appreciate you jumping in for this morning's great debate.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Got time for this talk back.
Speaker 10 (12:12):
Good morning, Christy and Karina. This is keep from Blayo.
Birthdays are not overrated. Heck, no birthday, that's your own
individual holidays, the one day of the year that people
should be acknowledging you if they don't already do it.
It's a beautiful, joyous day. So birthdays are not overrated
at all. Have a great day, ladies. Happy Veterans Day,
Christy and all the veterans out there. Thank you for
your service.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
All good.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
Thank you so much, Keith.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Lots of love for the vets today and lots of
love for the birthday celebrations.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Indeed, producer Karina, Yeah, everyone said birthdays are not overrated. Woooo.
