(26:25):
Mayhem Radio Podcast. I am yourhost, Johnny Rizzo, and I am
flying solo. Here tonight we arethe show about the motorcycle lifestyle. You
know, it doesn't matter what youride. It could be a Holly Davison,
an Indian, a Honda, kalisakaSuzuki whatever it might be. The
(26:45):
new Royal Infields are absolutely awesome nonalif anyone has ever seen a Royal Infield
out there, But those bikes arereally cool. They're really cheap as well.
You can get one probably for onthe four grand brand new. The
gas mileage is awesome on it,and the Great stole the bikes. I
mean, they are really cool bikes. If you live out in Nassau County,
(27:08):
you can check out Royal Infield ofNassau County. They're in the same
building with Holly Davidson of Nassau Countyand Triumph of Nassau County. But those
well, it feels a really nicelooking bike store, I gotta tell you.
Yeah. They have a couple ofdifferent styles and I love I wouldn't
mind getting one for myself. Iknow I might look a little funny on
it because I am about two hundredand eighty pounds, so people might say,
(27:33):
hey, Johnny, you have amotorcycle going out of your ass.
So I don't know if that canbe true, and I don't know,
but anyway, I am Johnny Zoneand we talk about the motorcycle lifestyle.
I'm not gonna build you a motorcycle. I can't build you a motorcycle.
I'm not gonna make believe I canbuild you a motorcycle. I will not
(27:53):
build you a motorcycle. But theone thing I've done is I've been to
a lot of events all over thisgreat Three of Ours, you know,
and a lot of smaller events toothat they have in Texas and all count
a lot of the culture. Theyhave a lot of small ones so and
there's a lot of local stuff too. So I am from Long Island down
here. We live in New York, So New York Long Island is congested,
(28:18):
I gotta tell you that much. It's not the greatest place to go
running a motorcycle. And if youcan go anywhere else in this country,
I would suggest to do so.But Long Island is tough to ride.
So if you can ride here, you can pretty much ride anywhere. But
there are a lot of events thatgo on every weekend here and we pretty
much keep track of keep you postedon what's going on with these events.
(28:41):
So there was a lot of stuffgoing on over the weekend. I should
say Nathan's ride happened up at theBlack Dawn Resort. That was an awesome
ride. From what I hear, they had a great turn out and it
was a great cause. So mif you go on our website more its
like omahem radio dot com. Youcan see all of our social pages down
(29:04):
social networking pages and you can alsosee um with radio stations that we are
live on during a week as well. So but yeah, so I vide
myself. I have a two thousanseventeen Holiday Vison road Glide Special which is
an awesome bike. And I usedto have a fat Boy. The fat
(29:26):
Boy was a great bike. Iwill say, um, two thousand and
seven. It was my first streetbike, I should say. I mean
I've had dirt bikes over the yearsand stuff like that, but my first
street bike was a two thousand andseven Holidays and fat Boy and I loved
it. Man, I made thatbike. That bike was woud man.
(29:48):
I remember we used to go bypeople walking their dogs giving a little womb
and the dog actually do a flip. It was. It was a lot
of fun that bike. Well, what happened was I went to Texas one
time. It was called the TexasIron Rally, So I went down there
to check it out and there wasa holy Davison deal that set up in
the woods. There's not the dealnothing. They had a tent and they
(30:11):
sold T shirts and stuff like that. So you know, of course I
want to get a Texas you know, T shirt, So I bought.
I bought a couple of shirts.I bought them home, and when I
took them out of the bag,I realized that they still had their security
tags on them, and I waslike, that's not good. What do
I do about these security tags?So I bought the shirts over with me
(30:36):
to holidayson of Natsa County and I'mlike, hey, hey, do guys
I have a little problem here.Maybe can help me out with Like what
is it? I got these Tshirts that have the uh the tag on
it still security? What do yousuggest I do? They didn't have the
same machine that they had in Texas, so they were trying all kinds of
(31:00):
tricks to get it off and finallyI found the place that would take it
off of me. But while Iwas there, I see these two seventeen
Rogualized sitting there and I'm like,oh my god, that bike is the
bike for me. That bike isa beautiful bike. I gotta take advantage
of this and check it out now. When I met the crew over there
at Hollidavison of National County, theytreated me like family from day one.
(31:23):
Great people, great service, greatsales team, great everything I can always
dreamed of as a perfect Hollidavison dealer. So I said, all right,
I have a fat boy. Iwant to train and I didn't want to
trade this bike in. I lovethis biking like wouldn't it wouldn't believe.
So I end up training it inand every really upset about that. And
(31:47):
I got the twenty seventeen Rogaland andI knew it was something special because I
got on the bike. And thenthe same day I don't know if if
anyone out there lives on Long Islandand knows Long Island and how long it
is, and you know, allthe way out to Montalk, I wrote,
the bike almost all the way outto Montalk, turned around and rode
all the way almost of the Queensand I can't stop running it. I
(32:09):
did not want to stop riding thismotorcycle. It was the best ride I've
ever experienced on a bike. Itwas incredible and I loved it. And
from that day on, I'm like, I'll never trade this bike in Now
I have the most awesome mist motorcyclewhich is a rogue glide. And if
(32:31):
anyone out there has a roguelide,I'm sure you'll agree with me. Other
people that don't, they won't agreewith me, I'm sure, but if
you never rode a rogue line, right, and you'll find out for yourself.
So yeah, So that's how Igot my bike. I went into
Holidays in of Nassau County and theytook me up and I love it and
(32:52):
I love it. I love it, and ever since then the bike has
been with me to walk on toevents and awesome sponsors that I have out
there for the show that put meup with Stereo who hit me up with
lights and shocks and all kinds ofgreat stuff like that. So I'm gonna
be happy with my bike. Anduh, I don't know you guys right
(33:13):
out there, but if you dowrite something that you would like to talk
about, or if you know anevent or even a place to go,
writing like a great road, letus know over here. Give us are

they love to go to new events. And since I started doing this show,
I learned about a lot of newevents I've never heard of before.
And I think a lot of peopleout there to be interested in these new
events you know themselves, you know, because I mean, there's so many
out there, guys, There's somany events out there, and definitely do
(34:45):
different kinds of events, all differentkinds of styles, all monorcycle events that
you love. But anyway, myname is Johnny Bizzo and you are listening

(36:24):
everybody? I am back. Iam Johnny Rizzo And you're listening to Motorcycle
Mayhem Radio on our Heart podcast orwherever you get your podcast from. So
I'm just chilling out in the studiotonight, you know, um gab being
(36:45):
along with you. And you knowwhat's so funny? Um here I am,
and it is Sunday night, okayright now. And I don't know
when you're listening to the podcast, but you know, there's so much stuff
going on in the monocyte community rightnow that a lot of stuff is overlooked.
(37:05):
Now, there's one guy out there. I want to just give him
a shout out. They call himthe Road Warrior, a k A.
Odd Dub. This guy has beenhitting every Holi dealer he can possibly get
to. I think it's up tolike one hundred and twenty five by now.
He's a retired fireman, so he'son the road and he's trying to
(37:30):
get to Milwaukee for the one hundredand twentieth anniversary party. So when honor
that he's hitting all kinds of HollyDavison deal is all over the culture,
which is pretty cool. I mean, that's one cool thing about being a
biker and riding Halliday even Indian whateverbike you have. I mean, I
know Hally's big on it. Thatyou know, you gotta stop it every
(37:51):
dealer that you see and get aT shirt. I collected shocklasses. Actually,
I got a ton of shock glassesthat I won't accept any shocklass from
somebody they're trying to Oh. Iwent to well, you know Daytona.
I brought you're back a shocklass fromthe deal. I don't want it.
I t shots one thing, theshocklass I have to get for myself.
And I think I'm well over ahundred shocklasses myself right now because I've been
(38:14):
a holidal is all over the countrythat I you know, it's it's a
mandatory thing you gotta do. Youknow, you're passing by a holidealer and
it's one off the exit. Youdon't have to stop and grab something.
So usually I grab like a Tshirt, a shocklass, the tall ones.
If you're gonna get me a shocklassfrom a holidealer, I would say,
give me a short one. Thatmeans I wasn't there. But I
don't want anything actually unless I goget it myself. So I get the
(38:37):
tall shock glasses for myself. AndI usually get a coin, not a
coin, a poker chip, maybea sticker for the trailer. Definitely a
T shirt. Depends on a Tshirt because there's some Holi dealers that you
know, they use the same frontsbut different backs, and I'm like,
I got that one already, oryou know, I don't see it.
Then that's really thrilling to me.So I don't pass on the T shirt
(39:00):
sometimes, but for me, it'sthe shock last that I like to get.
And it's funny because a lot ofpeople have all different stuff that they
collect and all these holidealers, youknow, whether it's stickies and or shocklays
or chip or something cool like that. But I wonder if it's like that
with all the deals as far aslike, do you if you are the
(39:21):
Honda, do you try to stopat every Honda dealership you see? I
don't see them having all the swagthat Holly has. Maybe Indians I could
see them doing it, but I'mnot sure about about any other motorcycle company
that would do something like that.I think it's a really cool thing that
you know, you get. Itry to collect things from Holly deal Is
(39:42):
or like you like when I goto Daytona Bike Week. There's a jewelry
store down there, and every timeI go there for either Bike Tooba Fast
or Bike Week, I grab allcoin. It's a it's a silver coin.
It's a real silver coin. Ithink it's up to like fifty seven
dollars now sixty two. I can'tremember the time my head doing and it
has like um that year's Biketoberfesional BikeWeek and on a back it has a
(40:06):
different design, you know, goingtowards the Monorstart community and the bike I've
had that's going on, which isreally cool. I don't know about any
other places out there, Like I'msure there has to be a place that
stowages does it end? You know, the coins, because it's a really
cool collect his item, and I'dlike to know when you guys collect out
there. So if you listen tothe show and you've got stuff that you
(40:28):
collect. I don't care if it'sfrom like you wet a Honda, he's
Suzuki. I don't know what theyhave in those stores. They never really
go on those stores too much. But if they have the shot glasses or
the T shirts like that, Idon't know. So you know, leave
me an email, go to aMotorcycle Mayhem radio show at gmail dot com,
all right, or give us acall right at six seven. I
(40:50):
can't remember my number eight seven sevennine one seven five two sixty. What
a short? What a short?Um? You know? Message to us?
I definitely want to know you knowwhat you guys got going on out
there with really cool stuff. Butit's got to be something cool though,
I guess see Holly Davidson being theonly company Morriside Covering that does something like
this. I'm I'm sure you knowthere's a lot of stuff out there like
(41:14):
that's going on like that, butHolly is um the biggest I would think,
you know. And it's funny howHoliday is an Indian or always a
neck and neck you gotta you goto Daytona. And for a couple of
years it was like one year HollyDavison was a sponsor of it. The
next year it was Indian, thenit was Holly. It was Indian and
they shared the same showroom. It'slike, you know, Hollywood Dad last
(41:36):
year, this year's Indian, nextyear's Holly again. But anyway, but
that's what the road Warrior is doing, man, the mod Wire aka Odd
Dub is hitting it every Holidaler hepossibly can. I'd love to see if
I can find his map out there, if I can find his map that
he just did a big run.Um here we go. Well, I
could see he went from New Yorkdown the keywords back up out Well,
(42:01):
I mean he went all the wayup, I mean to Canada, all
the way up into Canada, andhe's gonna come back down and he's gonna
hit the Holly Dealer over there inwist Coontin. That's gonna be a big
party. One hundred and twenty years, one hundred and twenty years of Holidavison,
which is freaking awesome, man.And I'm proud to say I have
(42:23):
one, you know, and it'swide's great and I would love to have
the time to do something like that. I really which I had the time
to go on the road and hitas many holo dealers. As I possibly
begin, I mean, you're notthinking about the money he must spend because
you know he's getting something at everydealer. You know, even the gas,
(42:44):
I mean gas on the bike. That was a lot different in your
car. Over the last summer,I wrote to Wisconsin and back from New
York. From Wyll to Wisconsin, went around Lake Michigan and back. I
spent under two hundred dollars in gason the bike. And that's awesome.
And because if I was at mypickup truck, that would probably caused me
(43:04):
close to a thousand, if notmore. And if I'm pulling my trailer,
forget about it, you know,it just it's just crazy. Because
we speaking about pulling the trailer. We did a soldier's journey home over North
Carolina and that was a great eventthat people from all over the country got
together and they built a house fora soldier that an ampitude an every teeth
(43:25):
leg or an arm or something likethat. And it was amazing to watch
these people come together as a teamand put this together for this guy.
I talked about a house that hadnothing. There was nothing there. It
was woods. They built the street, they cleared the woods. They built
the house. It's awesome, youknow, and you know we were part
(43:49):
of that. Motorcycle Man Radio lastyear we raised over seven thousand dollars has
been now with us. This yearwe had a lates jump on the bike
nights that we had, we didn'traise as much as we liked to.
I mean, if you want tohelp, you know we're still raising money
for him. You want to bepart of it, you can just send
us an email Motorcycle Man Radio Showat gmail dot com and we can tell
you where to send the money to. But definitely get on board with test
(44:10):
Man and be a hero yourself.I mean, you got people coming all
over the country, not asking fora time, not doing it for themselves
or that they'll stand out and frontof anybody else. They're doing it to
help somebody. They're doing it tohelp one of our vets. Because without
all vets, we wouldn't have nothing. I wouldn't be doing this show right
now. So you know remember that, you know, this guy want the
(44:32):
wolf for us and they lost alimb and because of that they're building a
house. And you've reever you appreciatedin our world in a motorcycle community,
it's huge, you know, it'sa huge out down. So I want
to get more involved with that. What for you guys to also, I
think it would be great everybody lookedout for our vets. That's what we
need for everybody to look out forour vets, take care of them and
(44:57):
close the border. That's why that'smy personal opinion on that. But anyway,

little bit and it was a tease. Actually what I did. The Blue
Ridge Parkway, jeez, I believeit goes from Virginia all the way to
Tennessee and it is a beautiful, beautiful road. I had to pull them
over when I was there, andthe mountains in the background were just on
(50:49):
the hoard of guys, amazing stuff. So if you ever get a chance
to get out in the Blue RidgeParkway, get out on the Blue Ridge
Parkway and go for a ride.I mean, so many things I want
to do out there in this greatdream. I gotta do the Dragon.
I mean, I was planning ondoing the Dragon when I was in North
Carolina. Of course, when we'regoing to North Carolina, we're also going
(51:09):
to Tennessee, and the dragons outthere and it was just it was it
was just a little bit too farfrom where we were staying. I was
hoping that we'd be closer to lettingthem work out. So and I also
want to hear about you know whatwhat I want to know what your favorite
road is. Guys. I wantyou to call the show and leave me
a message at eight seven seventy nineone seven five two six three or send

(52:37):
so many out there, and somany other ones that we never even heard
of. Like Texas Iron was awesome. You know, you got to smoke
out rally, which is awesome. The Big Mountain Run was really awesome.
That was so small and it wasall it was done. That was small.
It was um at the end atthe end of the week, everyone
(52:58):
knew each other. And there's oneguy I wrote Everyone's motorcycle. That was
his goal to what everybody's bike duringthis event, and he did it.
And it was all some day.But there was a kind of event where
I could be sitting down drinking abeer and somebody sit down next to me.
Incredible nbas And at the end ofthe at the end of the night,
you guys are good friends, andthese friendships last. That's when it
(53:20):
is in the biker world, becauseenough friends did their brotherhood or their sisterhood.

to Melon just to get a crampcake, right, and he'll ride all
the way up the Boston just toget some beans. That's what we do.
That's the beautiful partner about being abiker. And you're never chew old
to be one. Yeah, wehave to go on three wheels sometimes,
(54:22):
but you know what, you neverchew old to be a biker and go
on these awesome rides and enjoy it. I did a bunch of wines myself,
and I said, I just rodearound the Linking Michigan twice. I
did it last year and I didthis year. Well, resting the year
before, I should say, youknow, I rode down to Key West.
I did. I did a lotof ride to myself. I mean,
I didn't do nothing compared to likethe people that are out there,
(54:44):
A lot of people that are outthere doing their rides like odd doub that
