that so much better? Yeah, the Voice of New York. She gotta

(00:25):
kind of go down with like NewYork. Voice of New York. There
you go. So but she said, ask you she sound like this.
Harry is Johnny Rizzo and listening tow O seven ten, am the horrible
Voice of New York. Voice ofVoice History New York. That's what it
should say, My Kate. Youknow what, maybe you might have the

(00:49):
voice of a mind. I gota voice for a voice of a mine,
the voice of a you have thevoice of a mind. Okay,
interesting, the voice of a sheep. I don't know, noh no,
that was what? Where did thatcome from? What was that? I

(01:11):
guess I'm going through the barnyard. So I'm sitting here with Kate Fox,
and uh, Kate, man,you just got back from an awesome vacation.
It looked like I did. Indeed, And where did you go?
I went to Minnesota, Key inFlorida. The Gulf Coast. That's on
the west coast up now. TheKey is like a little island off the

(01:33):
mainland, Yes, off the mainland, ahore mate, that gots mistakes,
going down, swooping down, lookingfor danger all over, some mistakes.
You see any trouble. I seetrouble everywhere, Johnny, everywhere. But
what happens when you see it?Sometimes I run, sometimes I fight.

(01:55):
It depends on my mood. I'ma woman, you know. There you
go, I might sound like you. I'm telling like you telling me now
you're malcolmy. I don't like it. I'll tell you. So, Okay,
you you went to uh on vacationand the motorcycle rider or three or

(02:17):
three? Yeah, you're hooked.I am hooked. I have to say.
I you know, it's the personor the moment never presented itself up
here. You know. The peoplethat I trust, that I would trust
to ride with are my close friendsand brothers. However, they have wives

(02:37):
or significant others that wouldn't necessarily appreciate. And that's the world. Yeah,
and I know, yeah, Soit's just it's so no, not up
here. But I had a frienddown in Florida. You know, I've
been going to the same time sharefor a million years, and I've known
his family forever. I've known himfor a long long time. And he

(02:58):
took his ninety year old mother fora ride. Really, and I mean,
I mean, she's great, she'sgreat. She's got seven kids,
a lot of them retired military, you know, God bless him. And
I was like, you know what, I want to ride one of those
so bad, and he just said, I'll take you. And it was
just fantastic. That's awesome, though, So you got to spish funny mostly

(03:22):
do you do you know this?I mean I do? Do you even
those a certain kind of smell whenyou're going to flower, like a sweet
kind of smell. I always realizethat I got to flow the palm trees
or whatever it is due you knowwhat. I think it's we're more out.
It feels more out in the open. If it's it's a little you
know, you got the sea,you got the ocean everywhere. You know,

(03:44):
it's just it changes a little.I love the smell of Florida,
I really, do you know, maybe it's the palm trees that's fell nice.
I don't know. Maybe you knowwhat next time you go down to
Florida. You know what I wantyou to do. You gotta walk up,
give it a big fat hug andgo, Yes, that's where the
is. You smell so good, baby, you are amazing. I can

(04:04):
fly to the top of it.Or mistakes and fly to the top of
the palm tree. I was justmice arrests out of them up there.
Hey, you know only the onesthat I leave up there, all right.
Sometimes I gotta get rid of myfriends. You gotta, and I
put them up there for safe keeping. There you go. You gotta do
what you gotta do. Mistakes, that's right. Now. When you drop

(04:26):
off a lot on top of apalm tree, do you drop them down
and say I'm shot? I'm shot? No, I say your shot shot.
So you went for a ride there, What did you experience when you
were down there? Experience like,um, you hear things they don't want
to hear me, the call, you smell things want to smell, and
oh everything, and you know, and you're also a hyper aware like I

(04:48):
didn't have to be hyper vigilant, right because I was not driving. My
driver was hyper vigilant, right, you know. I he was looking at
everything constantly, constantly, constantly.I was hyper aware of what was going
on, looking to the left, looking to the right, looking up at
the sky, you know, andit's it's different, and you know,

(05:12):
more than smells, because I didhit smells in different things. Or you
know, we're driving by the thethe beach and I can just look down,
you know, and there's the water. But what I really really noticed
was the one day when we wereriding and it I had come out of
a major thunderstorm in Sarasota, tonsof rain, and when I got oh

(05:34):
yeah, and when we when wegot close to the resort, my son
and I because we had gone tothe Sarasota Jungle Gardens, which we love.
I've been going since I'm a kid, and you know, we get
down there, there's no rain andI was like, oh, did it
rain? And they said, oh, for a second. Well, while
we were out, we went througha couple of different patches where you saw

(05:56):
it rain, it had rained,or we ran through some rain, and
the temperature drop and just that andthe feel of the rain that's staying.
Oh yeah, we weren't going thatfast at that point. I'm a baseball
with you and you kind of loweredyou oh, I didn't think of that.
Well, I had the helmet on, but not you know, any
kind. It's like BB's hite sometimes. Yeah. I was like, oh,

(06:17):
and I said that to him.He was like, oh, you
should feel it at seventy miles anhour. Yeah, it really does.
Yeah, we've hitching the face man. Look it hit a little rock feels
good too, but when it getwet and shins get wet and it's horrible.
We were lucky, not not badat all. That's good. So
you can check it out, guys. I am Johnny Video. I ain't

(06:39):
with Kate Fox. Check out ourwebsite that mott. We'll be right back.

and I am with k Fox andyou all listen to more Thing a video
on WR seven ten am the Voiceof New York. So okay, So
I'm glad you had a good tripand also you had a real vacation.
You bonded with your son I did, which is awesome. What did you

(08:43):
guys do together? We did youknow, We did beach, We did
pool, We walked a lot likedown to the circle. K Yeah,
and we tried you know, Idon't cook a lot more more down there,
we have a kitchen. It's anapartment. Oh yeah, nothing,
you know, but we would walkto the restaurants too, so we would
all to We just walked. Wewalked a lot. Um. We went

(09:03):
to the Mote Marine Aquarium, whichwe go to every time we're down there.
It's a small one actually, butit's in three pieces. They have
the main aquarium where they have thefish exhibit shark exhibits, but then they
also have a bird sanctuary which isattached to it where they you know,
they have birds that they're rehabilitating thatyou know, either they'll never leave or

(09:28):
they'll be there until they get better. And then they also have um it
used it's a turtle rehab facility. They used to have dolphins. They don't
have dolphins there anymore, but theyhave sea otters and they have some little
baby animals and it's it's just realcute. So it's it's those are the
two touristy things we did my son. But my son's also he loves to

(09:50):
eat, and he loves to eatvery very well. Oh yeah, oh
he does. Indeed. You know, it's we're getting near the end of
the week, and I did notreally say no to him. I wanted
him to have the best vacation. And we sit down and we look at
menus and it's for lunch and it'slike, oh, I think I'll have

(10:13):
the crab I'll have the crab legs. And I'm like okay, and they're
like chitching and bring his kid backevery day, oh chit ching. And
but it's so funny he pulled itout and that thing was it was did
you eat it? Like it wasgone? Oh my god? Yeahs the
growing boy. Yeah, you know, And it's an important that you have

(10:35):
trips like that, you know whatyour son's going up. Like I was
saying in another show that we've done, I did a bike week with my
son Michael, and you know,it was his first one and it was
the first time to meet him ina long time. Just meeting him going
away together with the motorcycles to abike week and from new experience, the
first time going down the main street, seeing on the bars you want the

(10:56):
bike sing, you know what wasgoing on it, which is an awesome
thing, you know. And andthere's so much said Daytona offers down there.
I always talking about Daytona. It'sone of my favorites. You know
they got Route one, you gotyou got A one A, you got
main Street, you got the racetrack, you know what. You got
a lot of places down there tojust you know, the campgrounds, you
got cabins patch. You know theygot women uh cole slow wrestling down there.

(11:22):
But it's disgusting. But all theoil they putting theirs is what.
It's a fun thing to do.You will watch them, but you know
what, they don't show anything though. That's I was gonna say, is
it appealing? Not really? Okay, not really, I would say no.
But it's fun to watch, youknow what I mean. It's fun

(11:43):
to join in and you know, cheer on and stuff like that. And
you know it took a bike week. People have a good time. Anything
goes, anything goes on bike week. What happened to bike stole my line
down? I'm sorry that mistake? What is that noise? Is that mistakes
coming? Who's that? What's that? Everybody? Mistakes? I just landed.

(12:13):
Now you feel I feel all right? I feel all right. I'm
a little shot, yeah, butI'm alright, alright. I'm glad to

poll started a lawnmower engine and itwas yellow, and I you know,
it was a lot of fun.Kate. Yeah, she sees that in

(31:06):
action, and it's not just maybedown Well we do already know Johnny's gonna
go there. Well, higher expectationsfor you, not what I'm in this
company, Okay, I've been outthe best of Kate. So wow,
So you you've been at it fora couple of years. Yeah, a
few years, and you know someyears I stopped picking my twenties and I

(31:26):
got back on in my early thirtiesor mid thirties and when I became an
actor. I was a musician formany years and I started doing acting.
I paid for Danny a Yellow andhe kind of influenced than I was going
to try and stick that in there. He influenced me to become an actor
and I did. And then itwent from like I was teaching guitar lessons.
That was like one of my mainbusinesses. So going from guitar lessons

(31:48):
to a call time at a play, you know, And I had like
forty minutes to get there from downtownBrooklyn to whatever this theater was in Manhattan
and parking. I was like, man, I gotta get back on a
motorcycle. So I bought a scooter. Yeah I know, I know,
Judge Way. And I remember rollingthat scooter off the sidewalk seeing myself in
the reflection of the window. Ilooked like a freaking circus bear. I

(32:10):
can I look like a circus bearon a tricycle. And I was so
embarrassed. We'll wait a minute,weeks because they're listening. Yeah, you're
six foot three, I'm six footpounds. I'm lying through my teeth.
That's okay, we'll go. We'rejust pointing out the height because I mean,
you're I'm a tall guy. You'rea tall guy. So you're riding

(32:30):
on a little scooter. Yeah,I look like on a tricycle. And
that's what made you say I gotto get a back. I saw myself
in that reflection. It was ridiculous. Wow, that's got to be embarrased.
I said, Wow, what achick mag and I it was actually
floating across the side. Let's mefloating across the asphalt like that. What
do you say that? When Ithink my road test for a moment,

(32:53):
I went to the class. Itwas all in the freeport. But a
boat, mam, you don't talkabout good. And the girl, the
guru, she uh give me aI think it was a cat's fifty.
I look like I had a motorcyclegoing out of my ass. That that
was the MSF course. Yeah, yeah, I teach it. I'm also
an MSF coach. So I gofrom teaching absolute beginners, which is giving

(33:15):
me a tumor in my brain, and then then I go from teaching beginner
you know people at the track,so it's a big difference, but you
know, you know, it isgood. It's good. Look at training.
That's so I'm gonna say, ifyou ride a motorcycle, do not
do it off the cuff. Donot just get on a bike and figure
it out. That's ridiculous. Nowdo you do you also ride the haul

(33:37):
of dregs? I don't, butI enjoy all that stuff. Here of
course has to be the loudest ship. But have you guys seen the King
of the Baggers, So Kyle Wymanand these guys, this is amazing.
They're doing the stuff on what wedo on race bikes, like you know,
the sport bikes, they're doing iton baggers and they're getting a knee

(33:59):
down check out check out King ofthe Baggers. And it's bringing so much
attention to motorcycle racing here in theStates. It's great and they love it
in Europe they really really. Yougotta see, like these dudes are like
the bike sideways. It's amazing.Wow. And I've seen these bikes up
close. They know they're done upof course, but amazing, pretty cool
stuff. Wild. Yeah, lookat like rogue. I think bag I

(34:19):
don't know you know that part.I don't know, Yeah, but you
just check it out. It's amazing. Yeah, definitely can't get the baggars,
so we gotta check that stuff out. If you want to do something
good, uh baggar racing. Yeahright, so cool stuff. So anyway,
I am Johnny Rizzo, I amwith Kate Fox and we'll sitting here

(35:52):
from WR seven n AM The Voiceof New York, The Voice of New
York, the Voice of New York. I was sitting here with Kate Fox
and James Pava sell us it's inchinginto it. See I'm not saying I'm

(36:14):
testing Kate to see. Yeah,I said a great old day, she
says in her sleep. Literally shesays it in a moaning sound. That
went south. So I was sittinghere with James and he's talking about how
he started riding, and uh,he coaches the motorcycles and coach to people
on the motorbikes, on the motorbikes, from everything from the MSF course,

(36:37):
which is the two day course, which I personally think and I hope the
MSF here's this, it should bea longer course. Can you give somebody
license or yeah, we give awaiver so at the end of two days.
And I strongly, strongly, stronglysuggest if you're think about getting your
motorcycle license, if you've never beenon a bike before, and you call
any of these schools, please takeprivates or one on one first, do

(36:57):
not try to jump in from zeroexperience to thinking you're going to be proficient
in two days to get a licenseand go on things like what the b
QWE, the l IE Northern StateFDR drive. Please get yourself some real
training. You have to you haveto know how to ride a bite the
buttons always because yeah, does zeroroom for any kind of mistakes. And

(37:17):
let's put this way, since everythinghas happened in the world in the last
bit of crazy years. I'm onthe b QWE and I write a highway
and traffic, and I see itmust have happened at night. Donuts see
a time on a highway? Iowe you that, yep. And what
that means is somebody's nutty enough tostop a car and do donuts on a
highway. What they do is theythe car in front of him will stop

(37:40):
and go sideways well behind him actually, and block traffic and block traffic and
he does just donuts and then hetakes off. Really, oh yeah,
you should a lot lately on thestreet. Nuts all over the place.
She don't wocks all over the place. And what does that tell you about
like people's you know, concern forother drivers and the motorcycles. There's a
little concern as it is, butI mean there's there's accidents. There's crashes

(38:00):
every stinking day everywhere. Now,so my point is this course, especially
now, they have to rethink it. Make it at least two weekends.
Make it for you. Yeah, why not? I teach the court,
I teach the techniques. We dofourteen exercises in two days. That's not
sticking with you. Wow, right, you should have like four days and

(38:21):
divvy it up whatever for exercises aday or whatever, and then we'll give
you the test. It just givespeople a fighting chance, man, because
it's crazy. It's crazy. Sonow, besides that, so you got
start out. How long you've beenteaching for I started, I'm saying the
MSF. I've been teaching about ayear now. I needed the money,
Hey, I needed the moneyed classesfunction any ones anyway. And a buddy

(38:45):
of mine who's a director in LAwill you realize that, Yeah? These
literally course two dollars. Yeah right, that tells you how much say pay,
So you know work was get I'man actor, so I'm also a
professional actor and a writer. Right. The assholes guys everyday live in Amazon
blah blah blah blah, and um, you know, things have slowed down
for us in the acting world. And my buddies now mysef coach out in

(39:07):
California, except they work. Theycould work seven days a week because the
weather the weather, and also theyhave their own places like we're doing it
at Kingsbrooke Community College, so duringthe weekdays they don't really have the room.
So, um, I've been doingthat for a year. I've been
teaching coaching. I've been back atthe racetrack last two or three years now.
I took a few years off becauseit does get pricey, you know,

(39:29):
and as a coach, you don'tpay for the day, but I
still gotta pay for tires and gas. Tires are not cheap, no,
especially in race slicks. I canimagine. I remember, like, what
was it last year? My sonwas looking for a tyre, but I
can't find it. Decides you neededto really yeah for Harley, Yeah,
yeah, it was probably like atwo hundred least. Yeah, it was.
It was rough to get that time. But so now you've been teaching

(39:51):
it for a couple of years now. You started out ride them in doing
nine yeah, ye eight, nineyears old. Yeah, so you're an
actor. What kind of movies you'vebeen in? I have done? Let's
see, I've been on The Deuce. You could James Pravis Hills. I'm
gonna say this for Johnny p rA v A s I l I S.
Really think that helped me? No, Prava Sillus if you google,

(40:13):
if you google me so pretentious, but you'll you'll see my IMDb I've been
Yeah, yeah, I am ana hole. So I've been on Ray
Donovan, The Deuce, Blacklist,Billions, Um, I was in UM
for a Hot Second. Um,what's it called? I Know this much
is true? Mark Ruffalo's film thatwas on HBO, which was amazing,
amazing series. Derek san France isa brilliant, brilliant writer director. And

(40:37):
what else was it? Oh?I was in a Trials Chicago seven,
except they cut my scene down toyou just see my arm throw an egg
at Sasha parent Cohen. It wasreally she's flashing me over there. And
also also what I'm part of thisthing called i FT Independent Film Theater dot
Com And what that is is we'recreating a sort of a streaming service for
all the independent films from shorts toeven features or whatever, because after they

(41:00):
do their festival run there's nothing left. It sits on a hard drive.
So it's partly a streaming service forall the independent films and short films.
It's really great. It's like sixbucks a month, So go to I
ft uh was it ift network dotcom? I wish this short independent theater.
I can only do so much foryou to I can't read up manful.

(41:27):
And also there's like production services andstuff like that. We have a
writing room right for independent writers. We helped them out with that. I
just now my own coffin. AndI'm a busy guy, busy with a
lot of well, you're busy involvedwith a lot of stuff. He's involved
in the most out community. Yes, he's involved in the theater. He's

(41:49):
involved in the movies. And howabout TV shows? Like, yeah,
that was I did? Like helisted them? Actually, were you paying
attention? He was doing the nails? What was it doing the black List?
I played a swat team commander Idid. Now you should pay for
those things? Oh yeah, gets, I got my twenty five cents.
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,I'm all together. You get like a
coffee. Why do you think hecan't get the new glass. You got

(42:12):
tell him the glass has one arm. I broke one of the arms on
it. Hey, as long asI put it on my face and I
could see stuff, I'm good.Yeah, exactly. It's you're golden with
that. It's it's bachelor guy mentality. That's what what made you write this
book. So um, during theheight of the plan, I mean the
pandemic, um, I was Daniegirl. We're hanging out and dating a

(42:36):
girl. I know she's still alivetoo. She was breathing, but so
tofinitely excited Johnny and all these peoplewriting books on Amazon doing their self publishing
thing right. And I started complainingbecause I'm like, well, this asshole,
look at this jerk writing a book. Who that was? And she
finally said to me, because Iwas just being a bitch, like I
was basically jealous, and Ione's writinga book and doing something and you were

(42:59):
sitting home on your hands. Yes, keep my hands warm. So um,
she said, well, why don'tyou shut the f up and write
your own book? I swear toGod, the title popped in my head
like divine intervention. Oh yeah,it was a little better in key,
but yeah, mine was bad.You made it worse. Yeah, and

(43:20):
I really I said to the universe. I was like, really, that's
the book you want me to write. So there you go, and here
we are. It's just two weeksI started writing it and it's our poor
anatomy, no pun intended. Sohow did you get involved with getting on
Amazon and stuff like that? Um? I hired a place called Manhattan Book
Group, Mindster Publishing. They arehybrid publishing, right, so you pay
them some money upfront, you keepall the back end money. Um.

(43:45):
They definitely got the better deal outof this so far. But you know,
they did a lot of marketing. They help with the end. Take
a breath to see what I'm doinghere, and so it's on mind Start
Publishing, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, The Assholes Guide to Everyday Living,
The Assholes Guide to Every Day List. So if I'm walking through bas and
As, I can see that onthe show. Yeah, you have to

(44:05):
order it. You think they're gonnastock that. I was gonna say,
oh no, oh no, it'san expertise. It's an expertise because if
you want, we're out of TheAssholes Guide Aisle five by the Prevactilla's Cream
still. Oh yeah, as Iam. Well, it takes a long
time time, you know. Butcheck it out. Guys, I am

I drove all the way from moreOunds to Baltimore, Melands, we
got some tears, and then fromBland all the way the New HIV,
Connecticut. Then I came home aboutthe Long Islands. And then I drove
down to North Califorina and had agood time, a good time drinking beers

(46:51):
or something. And then I wentto Tennessee. I got home three thirters
this morning and ate a lot ofcookies and food. How did you do
eat those cookies? I got pictureand ribs and well, I worked all
day. I worked all day,Kate, Yes, I would joining the

(47:14):
music. Actually, then I camehere. I made a pizza for everybody.
Did you made a Jimmy's actually madetoo. We forget that he made
a phone call. He made aphone call. Pizza thank you was delicious.
So that was my weekend. Areyou done crying? I'm done?
Wow, I want to I wantto adopt you. Now he's not.

(47:37):
But what I did is I wentdown to UM two of us right to
do a um A charuted called asoldier Johney home where they build a household.
That's beautiful. So the guy hadan empty the leg that we did
that that we people would thank youpeople? Yes, people, what do

(47:58):
you speak English? Do I speak? Steaking ease? All right? His
leg had been amputated, Yes,his legs at all. We're laughing it
vacuum and the lack of educational grammarwe have Chris Peckinson, now, yeah,

(48:20):
you're looking at me the shaking hishead, Chris. So we went
down now hey, thank you.Well, but you know what they're thinking
because you have brought attention to thisamazing cause and what they all do down
there. Motorcycle Mayhem Radio has raisedmoney to support this. We wagh seven

(48:43):
thousand dollars last year, right, and we're raising more this year. This
year we didn't come even close tothat, but what you know, well
we're still working on it. That'swhy I'm saying we're raising more than Yeah,
we had some problems, but we'regonna get it done and then uh
next year the year, yeah kicks. So that's why people are thanking you.
Plus you're down there. You madethe effort at least to go down
there to support them, even thoughyou can't physically do it. You know,

(49:06):
with your heart and your and yourmouth and your appetite that well I
did eat in that order, Soin that order. But you know what,
we went down there. We haveto tickle now. So I went
down there and there and uh,it was a really interesting watching these guys
built the house because it happened todo how long this takes twelve the house

(49:30):
twelve days? How many people, how many people at once? How to
be about obviously forty to sixty peoplevolunteer and all over the country. And
it was the own trade they call. They come everybody concrete and no one
complains, and the signs up sayingit's not about you and it's not about
them, It's about what they're doingbefore, which is incredible, beautiful.

(49:52):
They knocked the house that it's agorgeous house. By the end of the
whole thing right, it's a greatjourney. He really is to watch these
games and this this veteran gets thehouse for free. Obviously he gets the
house for free. Wow. Lastyear it was a it was a different
kind of build because the veterman thatlived in this house, his house got

(50:12):
hit by the eight two years ago. Remember the donators in Kentucky and maybe
made sure sure. So that wasthat Me and Way went down. They
couldn't believe the damage that we saw. Unbelievable. It's scary. You couldn't
recognize these building was torn down.So a soldier journey home rebuilt a house
for a soldier. You know.It was beautiful, good things. So

(50:34):
they're they're all over the country.I think they did nine averybody, this
might have been the ninth build.Wow, and they all the place,
so we keep it away, Ithink. So I went for Kate to
tap dancwer me. Yeah, butthat is beautiful. Nine houses, you
know, please nine thousand more HomeDepot was that big sponsor that that's good,
that's right, the moment of stufflike that, and so okay,

(50:57):
so what what you did that?I don't even know what the hell.
Let's say you're can't focusing on you. Man, You're you're crashing out,
you're choking up. So you sawa really good thing. Yes, you
did the Blue Ridge Parkway too, didn't you? I did part maybe fifteen

(51:19):
miles maybe. Did you take anyvideo? Uh? Took show video?
And you have video where we haveWe're gonna show a motorcycle mayhem next week.
Video of the house and stuff.Yeah, I'm not allowed to show
it now. So they giving himthe house on Saturday and then we'll play
it on here. It's really abeautiful house. So do you know they
get the house right? Yeah,it's theirs that's paid for. Did they

(51:42):
have to? I guess it's alow tax area that kind of. I
don't know how attaches work with it, but you might think. I turned
about it, sells it the nextday. Thank you. Put on the
market accustom. It sounds like adream home. It's no, no,
I'm talking to huge. I mean, it's a one story house, but

(52:02):
it's not got a three bedrooms inthe back, a masked up bedroom here.
How big is the land they putit on you? That's pretty cool?
Yeah? And big stuff, greatstuff. That's nice. Yeah,
it's great to be part of somethinglike that, and uh, it's a
the fireman of a big part ofit. That's great. Yeah, the
fire minute from Ohio came in andthey took it for the last couple of

(52:24):
years. All the cooking, nicebreakfasts, great, they do all that
stuff. So it really is cool. What's the foundation called Soldier's Journey Home?
Nice? I believe it's part ofa tunnel to towel tunnels tunnels to
my buddy does it. My buddy'sa fireman and he does that. There's
still a family. Yes, goodstuff, good stuff, good stuff.

(52:46):
Goto went I did indeed, howwas that? Oh my god? I
loved it. Yeah, I lovedit. I haven't been on the back
of a bike in wow, alot of years since I was a teenager,
actually ten years ago. See whatI did there. That's very kind
