Speaker 1 (00:00):
Trump calls a dictator a dictator. The mainstream media still
has not learned its lesson, and Democrats get some advice
they're going to find pretty hard to follow. Will anything
ever change? Listen to our Did they really just say that?
Moments to find out? I'm neat two shack, I'm Ben Parker.
This is newspite.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
A dictator without elections. Zelensky better move faster. He's not
going to have a country left. Gotta move, gotta move fast.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Why doesn't the press band together? Why don't they boycott
press availabilities and really stick it to this White House
and show them that the freedom of the press matters.
And this is a fight that this White House would
want to heat the press as opponents rather than the
neutral observers that we are and that we're supposed to be.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
I've got a lot of friends with Democrats, and they
have one to ask me for advice. But if I did,
I'd tell them, look, you just gotta try harder not
to saw my life story.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
That is Louisiana, his own Senator John Kennedy. I adore
that man. That man is the most colorful guy in Congress.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
How sandsunn is I can't remember but I think he
said something not terribly long ago that I said, boy,
I have to start saying that. And here's another one
for the.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
He is full of gems. He is fully We'll hear
it from the whole thing. Cut number twenty two.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
In terms of the Democrats, I've got, I've got. I've
got a lot of friends with Democrats, and they haven't
asked me for advice. But if I did, I tell them, Look,
you just got to try harder not to suck. I mean,
think about it. Over the past four years, the Democrats
mismanaged Congress, they mismanaged COVID, they mismanaged the economy, they
(01:46):
mismanaged inflation, they mismanaged the national debt, they mismanaged Afghanistan.
More recently, in their opposition to President Trump and mister Musk,
the Democrats have chosen to support work, the bureaucrash, and
the spending porn over the American taxpayer.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
They should really heed his advice whatever. I think he's
right on the money there.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
Whatever you do, and you could be a baseball player,
you could be the president of a bank, or you
could be a politician. In this particular case, try not
to suck. Yeah, I mean that's like great advice. I
should have that on a T shirt and another T
shirt idea.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
You come up with them all the time, I have
to say, and John Kennedy, I mean, but honest to God,
the Democrats have made some really really poor decisions and
statements lately. For instance, just to give you another example,
this is La Mayor Karen Bass. Now we all know
what happened with Mayor Karen Bass. She was in Africa
(02:46):
when her city was burning down because of the wildfires,
and she reached had a lot of criticism when she
came back, going, you went on vacation, you knew there
were fires, and you left anyway. And even if the
fires hadn't started until you got there, you didn't come
home right away. You wanted to finish your vacation. So
what the bleep? Well you know what her response to
that is. She is now investigating why she was allowed
(03:08):
to go to Africa, cut twenty four.
Speaker 6 (03:11):
From the city from the county. That level of preparation
really didn't happen. So it didn't reach that level to
me to say, something terrible could happen and maybe you
shouldn't have gone on the trip. But to me, I
don't know. I mean I think that that's one of
the things we need to look at. So two investigations
are taking place. One internal to the city and that's
(03:32):
the Fire Commission because that's mandated by the city charter.
So the commission will hire an outside entity to examine everything,
the pre deployment, you know, why we're staffs, why were
firefighters sent home, you know, all of that that should
have taken place that didn't. And then also the governor
has contracted with the Fire Safety Research Institute, which is
(03:54):
a national institute that investigated what happened in the fires
in Maui. So everything that happened, including that needs to
be examined. But I will tell you that I felt
absolutely terrible not being here for my city.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Yeah you should be. So she's investigating why they let
her go, why she was let go a.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
Couple of things. You could have always come back, you know,
if you did go and then you went, oh crap.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Can you imagine if you told her before you need
to ask permission to leave. You've got to be kidding me.
She's the mayor of the city. Nobody lets her do anything.
She's the decision maker. The buck stops with her, so
she chose to go to Africa's so now she's investigating
why they let her go.
Speaker 5 (04:37):
By the way, I have agreed if she wanted a
good excuse, I was thinking about this. You know the
song in Africa by Toto, I'd bless the rains down
in Africa. Yeah, it was a big hit back in
the eighties. She could have used that as the the
as her reason. Listen, I had to go to Africa
so I could bless the rains down in Africa and
get them back to my city.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
That was that could have been a doesn't think as
quickly as you though. She did not come up with
that one. You know, it's a great song. She's not
the only you know, democrat that's out there saying stupid things.
This is in the spirit of the road that was
not taken. This is a former Vice president Kamala Harris
(05:17):
speaking to a cast of a Broadway play. And I
just want to remind everybody this is what could have
been in the White House cut nine A.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
When we think about like these moments where we see
things that are being taken, but also let's see it
as you know, nature pours a vacuum, So where's some
where there's a vacancy, then let's.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Fill it.
Speaker 5 (05:38):
Right, right?
Speaker 1 (05:40):
What the hell? First of all, nature doesn't pour anything.
Nature abhours a vacuum. And what the hell is she
talking about where there's a vacancy. I mean, it's it's
word salad.
Speaker 5 (05:53):
Do you run in a hotel where there's a vacancy?
Let us fill vacancy.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
That's the road not take. And that vice president that
could have been President Harris and then we'd be treated
to four years of that. But no, no, she was
just at a Broadway play.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
And by the way, not for nothing. But and I
get it right, even when you're out of office, no
matter who you are, the press still wants to hear
from you. People still want to hear from you. People.
Of course, everybody's got a phone now so you can
record everybody. But I'm just thinking to myself, she's out
of office, she lost the presidency, she's going to see
a play. Who cares what she's got to say? No offense.
(06:30):
I mean, if she said something brilliant, I suppose I.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Get into nature in a vacuum, I have no idea, right,
So it's just like just stop talking. And actually that's
the advice from James Carvell on msnb's telling dems just
let it go, don't do anything cut eleven.
Speaker 8 (06:47):
What I say is something organic coming up from around
the country. I don't think that there was a lot
of organization. If you remember in twenty seventeen, you had
like a million women on them all. This is happening
all around the country. So the question is how should
democratic politicians respond to this, And what I think they
(07:08):
should do is what we call in role America, play possible.
Just let it go, don't get in the way of it,
or as we'd like to say, don't just stand there,
do nothing, let it let this germinate. We don't need
to be we don't need to get in front of it.
This freight train is moving. Let's just get out of
(07:29):
the way and then we're going to have time. In
the mortal words of Dalton and Roadhouse, be nice until
it's time not to be nice, and try not to suck.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
And try not to suck. In the words of John Kennedy.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
By the way, the one thing that I think about
here is and look there's you learn nothing right. If
you put your hand on a hot stove, you go, hey, crap.
I shouldn't do that again. Is so they didn't even
learn anything from just this previous election. Right, here's here.
You guys sucked, so and whether you like or hate
Donald Trump doesn't matter. The rest of the country said, yeah, yeah,
(08:05):
that sucks. Over there, we're gonna go over here. So again,
really try not to suck and stop learn your lesson.
I don't listen. I don't learn. I don't necessarily want
the Democrats to win any more offices. Some are good.
I mean, I've voted for Democrats in my life. But
but the thing is, if you keep doing the same
stupid things that are the reason you didn't win the
(08:26):
last time around, then you're just setting the table to
not win the next time around, and the next time
around and the next time around. I don't know who's
running there behind closed doors Democratic Committee meetings, but they
gotta get something like who they need. They did, like
what's his name, Tony Robbins. Yeah, right, just come in
and tell it like it is, because they're all back
there going, let's keep doing the same thing. We should
(08:47):
keep doing what we were doing because that works so well,
No it didn't. I shouldn't be giving advice to them.
But it's like come on, just and I think Carville's
right on, which is kind of what I'm getting down. Nothing.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Doing nothing is sometimes the hardest thing to do, but
the most appropriate.
Speaker 5 (09:06):
Right Just just sit there. And by the way, there's
almost a full four years left of Donald Trump's presidency.
It's not like the elections next week or next month
or even next year. So sit there, breathe, do some yoga, meditate, whatever,
and then figure out how do we not suck? As
John Kennedy would.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Say, now, the interesting thing is to use your vernacular.
It's not just the dumbs that didn't learn anything from
the election. The mainstream media also appears to have no
clue as to why they are no longer trusted, why
they are held in low esteem. And I want you
(09:43):
to hear this is this is funny. This is a
Jeff Bennett on PBS. He says that President Trump wants
to paint the press you heard this in the open
as opponents rather than the neutral observers that they are
cut ten.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
If you were to ask the question, why isn't the
press band together, why don't they boycott press availabilities and
really stick it to this White House and show them
that the freedom of the press.
Speaker 9 (10:06):
Matters, and maybe that could still happen, but right now,
if the if the press corps were to do that,
the White House would say, thank you very much. We
have people from Mike Lindell's network and from OAN and
from other sort of web media social media influencers. We've
got ten thousand people who want in fill the oval,
(10:27):
and then the questions being asked will not be the
tough questions that the American people deserve.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
And this is a fight that this White House would
want the press as opponents rather than the neutral observers
that we are and that we're supposed to be.
Speaker 9 (10:40):
They want this fight and they want the chilling effect
that it could have on the press corps broadly.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Okay, I just need to ask this question. Does anyone
listening to this actually view the mainstream media as neutral
at this point? I mean, does anybody think they're neutral?
I'm going to give you, and this is just within
the past forty eight hours, some examples of the non
neutral mainstream media. Here we have Karen Finney on CNN
who says that doge doje is going to cause deaths.
(11:07):
Cut five A.
Speaker 10 (11:08):
I actually think it's okay if they run into a
stumble here or there because the project is so massive,
the need to cut is so massive, the government is
so massive, it is it's inconceivable that you wouldn't make
a mistake here or there. But I think that's acceptable
if the greater goal is achieved, which is a smaller government,
more efficient government.
Speaker 11 (11:27):
Someone even if someone is someone dies, or even if someone.
Speaker 10 (11:30):
Because someone has died from I don't we don't know.
Speaker 11 (11:34):
I'm talking about when the rubber meets the road. I'm
talking about for example, Kansas City, thirty thousand government employees
might be laid off. It will destroy the economy of
Kansas City. That's okay.
Speaker 5 (11:45):
Why why I say that?
Speaker 11 (11:47):
Because I'm reading what the individuals from Kansas City have
been saying that they're very good.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
What do you think they're going to say when they're
going to get wet?
Speaker 11 (11:52):
Of course they're going to say that. But my point is,
do we think that's smart?
Speaker 8 (11:57):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (11:57):
My god, does she sound like she's neutras.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
Where's the objective part of the year?
Speaker 1 (12:01):
How about this is Chris Matthews on MSNBC asking who's
going to stand up and who's going to take a
shot back at Donald Trump? Cut twelve A.
Speaker 12 (12:10):
When you've got to shoot back in all directions at
the same time. Nobody in the Democratic Party can say
Schumwer can't do it. He's a good leader, you know,
PELUSI was a fabulous leader. But the ability to take
on all his shots at once, now that's interesting. You know,
Peter Baker can do it in the New York Times.
You know, he's one of the few people can actually
lead a news story and talk about everything that's going
(12:33):
on and attack back. Why can't a Democratic leader stand
up and say when I just said what I just said,
this guy's taking down the Congress, He's taking down the
rights of the American people. He's the big boss overseas
and back here, the big boss. Listen to him do
what he says. Nobody's saying that. Chris Murphy's trying I
(12:53):
keep winning.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
Who's going to stand up?
Speaker 12 (12:56):
Who's going to take a shot back at this guy?
Why isn't Corey Booker doing He's got all the time
in the world. I'm a big Corey Booker.
Speaker 5 (13:02):
Finn do it? Corey do it?
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Does that sound neutral to you? Also, by the way,
maybe because he's achieving something, maybe nobody's gone after him
because he's actually doing something. This is Frank Figliuci on
MSNBC says, if you voted for Trump, you're not an
American cut thirteen A.
Speaker 13 (13:20):
You know, with regard to this statement, which again we
shall not believe write's previous. What he says, don't worry
that someone who saves his country cannot.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
Violate a law.
Speaker 13 (13:31):
Okay, it's been attributed by some historians who aren't certain
to Napoleon, but I'll tell you where it's definitely been
used far more recently, and that's with a white supremacist,
far right extremist named Anders Bryvick in Norway who killed
seventy seven people in Norway, the worst modern mass murder
(13:52):
in Norwegian history, including a mass murder two separate incidents
by him on the same day, including a mass murder
at kids camp in Norway. And he's the one who
describes himself as a neo Nazi, who's used that statement
more recently in history, and now our president is quoting
that white supremacist, neo Nazi murderer. If you voted for that,
(14:16):
you really need to question whether you're American anymore.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
And in case you're wondering if this is just Cable
Networks Championship. Here's Margaret Brennan on CBS basically comparing Donald
Trump's administration to the Nazis. Cut thirteen.
Speaker 14 (14:30):
Well, he was standing in a country where free speech
was weaponized to kentuct a genocide, and he met with
the head of a political party that has far right
views and some historic ties to extreme groups. The context
of that was changing the tone of it. And you
(14:54):
know that that the censorship disagree with you specifically about
the right.
Speaker 15 (14:57):
Now I have to disagree with you. The free speech
was not used to conduct the genocide. The genocide was
conducted by an authoritarian Nazi regime that happened to also
be genocidal because they hated Jews, and they hated minorities,
and they hated those that they had a list of
people they hated, but primarily the Jews. There was no
free speech in Nazi Germany.
Speaker 5 (15:15):
There was none.
Speaker 15 (15:16):
There was also no opposition in Nazi Germany. They were
a sole and only party that governed that country. So
that's not an accurate reflection of history.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
See, by the way, was secretary of that's the I'm sorry,
I'm just went blank on Foreign Service. That was Secretary
Mark or Rubio responding to her right there, so the
Secretary of State. So I mean this is this is
the quote neutral press, but it's being they learned nothing
(15:46):
from attacking to your point earlier. They learned nothing from
attacking and casting the slanderous lies about people they don't
agree with. They learn nothing from it whatsoever, and they
are still doing it today.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
By the way, I didn't mention it because we moved
moved along and along and along with other cuts. But
that Chris Matthews when he taught poor choice of words
to a shot at the president, shot at the and
he said it several times, Yes he did, and as
the president shot at twice.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Yes, that was a Republican talking there. That's a dog whistle.
That's a dog whistle calling for people to shoot the president.
That's what that was.
Speaker 5 (16:19):
I don't want to imply that Chris Matthews wants someone
to shoot the president, but it's just a poor choice
of words. And whether he chose those words intentionally or accidentally,
he just shouldn't have chosen the word. So I just
thought it was bizarre at best that that he would
choose to use Look, take a shot, Hey, why don't
we take a shot at Trump? Take it a shot
at Trump, shoot at Trump, tromp trump Trump shot shot tuh.
(16:39):
I mean so yeah, that bad word choice, whether on
purpose or not either way, So.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Well, this administration has made it known that they're not
going to sit, you know, quietly by, like they may
have a little bit in the last time around and
in twenty sixteen, and they're basically going to They're going
to call you out if and they're they're currently doing
this is Caroline love It. She's the current Press secretary,
the youngest Press secretary ever, and she's calling out fake
news reporters for fear mongering with people cut six.
Speaker 16 (17:08):
If you just watched that video, but shut your eyes
and listen to the words from those Democrat politicians, you
would think you are listening to President Trump, Elon Musk,
and our entire administration, who are saying the exact same
things that Democrat politicians promise the American people they would
do for decades. President Trump is just the first president
in our lifetimes to actually do it. And now you
(17:31):
see Democrat Party in the mainstream media spiraling out of
control about a very simple promise rooting out waste fraud
and abuse from our federal bureaucracy. This is a promise
President Trump campaigned on. He is now delivering on it.
And I've been fighting fake news reporters all day long
here in the Washington, DC swamp who are trying to
(17:52):
fear monger the American people into believing that this administration
is going after their hard earned tax dollars and their
hard earned Social Security checks.
Speaker 5 (18:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Yeah, they're saying that they want to stop social Security checks.
Speaker 5 (18:04):
If the last week or the week before, I can't
remember when that everything's a blur. I should try not
to suck more. The thing the thing about what Donald
Trump is doing, and you can hate it if you want.
There were plenty of people who didn't vote for Donald Trump,
but he said I'm going to do this, and he's
doing it, and they're pissed. It's not like he's he's
not going back on his word. He's going forward on
(18:26):
his work. You can hate the fact that.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
He's doing it, but right he ran on this and
people voted for him because a lot of people voted
for him, So there's you know, this isn't duplicitous for
sneaky he is I'm going to do this. Now he's
doing it.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
I'm not saying he or anybody whose administration is perfect either,
they're not. But when you say I promise I'm going
to do this and then you do it, why are
you mad at them? I mean, I get it. Remember
the Bush no new taxes, read my lips, and then
there were taxes.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
And people they did not do it. They said they
were right, and like President Biden said he would be
the most transparent and honest president in history. Oh my god,
not even close, not even like in the top twenty.
Speaker 5 (19:03):
So be mad for whatever reason you want to be
mad at whoever you want to be mad at. But
when someone says I'm going to do this and then
they do it, at least they're not a liar. I
don't even hear anybody say, well, at least they's not lyings.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
No, they just want to call them a Nazi and
a hitler. You know that's And.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Listen, most people in the country, I think if you
pull them straight from their heart a year ago, two
years ago, five years ago, I think most people would say, yeah,
there's too much waste in government. We got to get
rid of it. Remember remember the whole twenty thousand dollars
hammer thing, and everybody was outrage.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Ashtra.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
Now there's some work being done to limit or lower
government waste, and everybody's not everybody, A lot of people
are insensitive, but oh my god, what he's cutting jobs? Well,
how do you think you get rid of waste? I mean, really, look,
there's too many people on the payroll period. I feel
sorry for you. If you're on the payroll and get cut.
(20:01):
Not having a job sucks. I've been there, but try
not to suck. I just don't get it that people
think there's waste in government. Almost everybody does, but when
they try to get rid of the waste, Oh my god,
I can't believe he's trying to get rid of waste.
What the hell is he doing? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (20:16):
To people are going to die? That was That was
people are going to die because you're getting rid of waste.
That's basically's going to happen.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
Everybody's going to die.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
Yeah. So the Trump administration has made it pretty clear
that they're not going to stand for this bad behavior,
either from the Democrats or from mainstream media, or, to
be honest with you, from anybody else. And nowhere is
that more apparent than in the Russia Ukraine peace negotiations
(20:44):
President Zolensky Ukraine. President Zelenski is trying to set the
terms for this negotiation like he thinks he's in some
major bargaining position. Cut number seven. Let me ask you.
Speaker 17 (20:55):
About something that President Trump said this week. He did
not say yes when he was asked if he sees
Ukraine as an equal member in the peace process. He
did say later that Ukraine would have a seat at
the table. Have you been given any assurances that Ukraine
will have an equal seat at the negotiating table.
Speaker 18 (21:18):
So I will never accept any decisions between the United
States and Russia about Ukraine. Never and our people, never
an our adults and children and everybody it can be.
So this is the war in Ukraine against us and
our human losses. We're thankful for all the support, unity
between USA in USA around Ukraine, support by patisan unity,
(21:44):
by patisan support.
Speaker 17 (21:45):
We're thankful for all of this, But there.
Speaker 18 (21:48):
Is no any leader in the world who can really
make a deal with putting without us.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
About us in other words, that bleep you to the
US and to Russia. And in basic he wants more money,
even though he has said they have no idea where
all the money went. I'm pretty sure it went into
that nice daka that he just bought. The He's saying,
you always more money. You need to give us more money.
Speaker 19 (22:12):
Cut number eight, like good money, good give us two
hundred fifty two hundreds fift civilians which are here in
Europe frozen Russian asses.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
No answer, Yeah, no answer, because it's going to be no,
They're not going to give it to you. President Trump
was asked by a by reporter, do you have any
message for the Ukrainians? Cut number one?
Speaker 20 (22:38):
If you have any message for Ukrainians who, after three
years of fighting, might feel betrayed or disappointed at not
having a seat at these initial talks in Saudi Arabia.
Speaker 21 (22:46):
Well, I think I'm really disappointed in what's happened. I've
been watching this for three years. It's a war that
would have never happened if I was president, And I've
been watching these these you know, people being killed at
levels that you've rarely seen, not even close since the
Second World War. And I'm very disappointed.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Yeah, And I don't blame him. And he was asked
also whether they Russia wants to force Ukraine to have
an election in other words, get rid of Zelinsky before
there's a peace deal. Cut number two.
Speaker 16 (23:19):
We're hearing that Russia wants to force Ukraine to hold
new elections in order to sign any kind of a
peace deal.
Speaker 22 (23:25):
Is that something that the US would ever support.
Speaker 21 (23:29):
Well, we have a situation where we haven't had elections
in Ukraine. Well, we have martial law, essentially martial law
in Ukraine. Where the leader in Ukraine, I mean, I
hate to say it, but he's down at four percent
approval rating. You have leadership, and I like him personally,
it's fine, but I don't care about personally. I care
(23:52):
about getting the job done. You have leadership now that's
allowed a war to go on that should have never
even happened, even without the United States.
Speaker 5 (24:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
And then then came the quote that is now apparently
incensed both Zolensky and anybody on the left to, like
we said, have not learned about not attacking Donald Trump.
This would be cut number four.
Speaker 5 (24:14):
A a dictator without elections.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
Zelensky better move fast or he's not going to have
a country left. Got to move got to move fast,
because that war is going in the wrong direct.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
So he's calling Zelensky a dictator. And of course you
have the mainstream media here and the Democrats here calling
Trump a dictator. Then think about it. Who do you
think is a bigger dictator? Is it Donald Trump? Who
is you know, cutting out a waste in the government,
not putting it in his own pocket, he's just cutting
it out. Or Zelensky who has pocketed billions of dollars
(24:46):
from the United States that could have gone to the
aid of the Ukrainean people, but hasn't.
Speaker 5 (24:51):
I kind of laugh at this because it's well, it's
more of a head scratcher than funny. But if you remember,
and I'm sure you do, the only thing we or
one of the big things we heard over the last
several years is democracy and how important it is to
vote in this democracy and democracy and we have democracy,
and we have democracy. And then of course they pulled
the old end around and put Kamala Harris in, but
(25:12):
then still said, oh, we got to have a fair democracy.
And yet people are screaming at Trump when there hasn't
been an election in Ukraine in what seven years? Six years?
And just imagine, just imagine if it was even suggested
forget being done, suggested, hey, we're in a war. Imagine,
(25:33):
imagine George W. Bush when we're in the war in
Iraq and stuff. If he had come out and said, listen,
we're in a war. Puff times, we're gonna suspend elections.
Holy hell on wheels, I get it. It's in their constitution.
They are, they are in a war, and they're actually
being attacked in their country. But nobody's saying a peep
about not being an election there when, of course they're
(25:55):
screaming and yelling for years of the whole four years
Biden was in office. Democracy, We've got to say democracy,
vote is important. Democracy, democracy delancracy? What about democracy in Ukraine? Maascod?
Who cares? So it's yeah, it's a headscratcher because it's
again it's you're playing both sides of the street. You're
(26:16):
what's good for you, eh, not good for you?
Speaker 1 (26:19):
It goes even worse you. Now, to go back to
what we started this segment with in regard to mainstream
media not learning and just gratuitously attacking Trump, Jake Tapper
over CNN ripped President Trump for what he thought was insult,
calling Vladimir Zelensky a dictator. Cut eighteen this.
Speaker 23 (26:37):
Morning, President Trump sending shock waves throughout Europe when he
called Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky a quote dictator, heroting Russian
talking points. This comes on the heels of President Trump
falsely accusing Ukraine of starting the war and invasion of
Ukraine and excluding Ukraine from the peace talks held in
(26:58):
Saudi Arabia earlier this week between Russia in the United States.
This is more than just upending the normal way of
doing things. This is more than him just breaking with tradition.
He's breaking with facts, he's breaking with truth, and in
some ways he's breaking with basic decency. Just as we
saw the President look at these images from January six
(27:18):
and decide ultimately that the people beating up the cops
are patriots, and the FBI agents and prosecutors who went
after the cop beaters where they were the bad guys.
The President is once again falsely casting Ukraine, the victim
of an aggressive and bloody territorial seizure, as the aggressor.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Now, first of all, you know, notice what he does.
He has turned everything to January six, because that's that's
the biggest cudgel they have to try to hurt Donald
Trump with his January six. First of all. Secondly, Donald
Trump didn't say Ukraine was a problem. He said Dolensky
was a problem. And the fact that Jake Tapper can't
separate the two and Dolensky, who is basically corrupt and
(28:00):
has taken billions of dollars in the US, who he
can't tell us where it went, that's okay, But Donald
Trump trying to end the war with Russia is not okay.
That's not decent to call. To call Olenski. This is
the portrait of somebody who learned nothing from the last one.
Speaker 5 (28:20):
I think there is a they're scared and I say
they meaning whoever they are, but that Trump will end
the war because anything that happens that's a good thing.
And ending the war is a good thing. I don't
care who's it war, and I don't care who's the
president who negotiates it. It's a good thing when you
end the war. And I think in their heart of hearts,
(28:41):
despite what they say, I don't think they want Trump
to end the war because if he ends the war,
he looks good. And if he looks good, well that's
bad for them. So if they can make it so
that he doesn't end the war, or or make it
an ugly train wreck. Then that's that's kudos to them.
So I just think that there's a fear that good
things going to happen, just as you know, when we've
(29:02):
heard people before when when Trump was president the first
time around, movie stars and comedians and stuff were all
coming up. I hope there's a recession. Why why would
you hope there's a recession because you hate Trump that much? Well, well,
we don't want Trump to end a war That would
be terrible for who for you and your political you
know friends, not for the world. I mean a war
(29:24):
ending whoever ends it.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
The people who are out of completely out of touch
with reality, and who have no idea what everyday people,
what the rest of us go through. If we're not
living in a in a goldfish bowl, that's you know,
gilded basically.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
I mean we're in the same boat too in the
Middle East. Will not the same boat, but a similar
boat where you've got people saying, well, they got to
stop attacking the Hamas and the the Palaestadians and blah
blah blah blah blah, Israel is a bad person. Israel
got attacked. I mean, look, nobody in their right mind
would have said after September eleventh, the Uys should just
(30:00):
back in their armchair and relax. They like wars when
they're good for them. They don't like them when they're not.
They don't want people to get peace if it makes
him look good, them look good. I mean, the worst thing.
I think, the worst thing that could happen to people
who hate Donald Trump is he ends the war in
Ukraine and they move on and their friends or whatever
(30:20):
happens to whatever happens, and then he ends the war
in the Middle East in Gaza and there's a peace
deal and it holds, and everything's hunky dory, which it
won't be forever, but for a while, because if he
imagine him ending two wars, how bad that would look
for the people who hate Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Yeah, I can imagine. I can imagine.
Speaker 5 (30:37):
What do I know that?
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Me too, Me too, Benjamin. So we like to since
we can no longer do Bidenism, since President Biden has
not come out of his house in a while, we do.
We've been doing Trump Patrol. And in this particular case,
President Trump was on with Elon Musk on Fox doing
an interview, and it was very interesting. They had an
interesting theory as to why the astronauts are still stuck
(31:00):
up at the space station that have been up there
for like a year cut number twenty.
Speaker 20 (31:03):
We are accelerating the return of the astionnauts, which was
postponed kind of to a ridiculous degree.
Speaker 21 (31:10):
They had left in space.
Speaker 14 (31:11):
They've been there.
Speaker 22 (31:12):
There was supposed to be there eight days that there
are almost three hundred.
Speaker 5 (31:15):
Biden they were.
Speaker 20 (31:16):
Yes, they're left up there for political reasons, which is
not good.
Speaker 22 (31:19):
Okay, it's not good.
Speaker 8 (31:21):
Now.
Speaker 22 (31:23):
If I had the weight of the pressure of doing
that successfully on my shoulders, I think i'd be you know.
But when we spoke before we do this interview, you
are very confident. You think this will be a successful mission.
Speaker 20 (31:37):
Well, we don't want to be complacent, but we have
brought astionaluts back from the space station many times before
and always with success. So as long as we're not complacent.
Speaker 16 (31:47):
When are you going to launch?
Speaker 20 (31:49):
I think it's about about four weeks to bring them back.
Speaker 22 (31:52):
About four weeks.
Speaker 20 (31:53):
Yeah, and we're bringing extremely courtious.
Speaker 5 (31:56):
You now have the go ahead? Yes, well thanks to you.
They didn't have the go ahead with Biden. Well, so
he was gonna leave.
Speaker 21 (32:02):
Him in space.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
I'm not sure what that's about. I mean, seriously, that
Joe Biden's left astronauts in space for a year for giggles.
I mean I find that I have no idea why
President Trump is doing this, So I don't know is
it the truth or is he just trolling President Biden.
I tend to think he's trolling President Biden too, But
that's that's just me. I mean I like to know
(32:24):
what everybody else thinks.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
Also, not to be a flippant, but I always am. Look,
Biden didn't leave them in space on purpose. I mean
they had to get them home. I mean, there's there's
a lot of work that goes into getting into space period, Right,
we got to go up, so it takes time. But
the only way I would believe that that Biden intentionally
left them in space was if he had a rocket
(32:47):
ship in his yard. He just and he just wasn't
using it. Screw them, I'm not going to get that
with my rocket ship.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
But he's gonna park next to his jagguer in the
garage and next to the documents, right next to the documents.
Speaker 5 (32:59):
Yeah, if Biden was like, yeah, I just don't want
to use the rocket ship for this, that's no. Then
I then would be like, okay, Biden did on purpose.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
But so I mean, this is to me is like
the world the world's best troller. Nobody comes, there's no
even second place. Elon Musk is right in there with
him on this one. So I just I think it's troll.
I'd like to know what you think. Do you think
it's Do you think it's truth or a troll? Ben
and I both think it's it's trolling. But you know,
every week there's something new from this guy.
Speaker 5 (33:26):
Part of the reason, part of the reason people love
him and part of the reason people hate him are
almost the same thing. I imagine if he could. He can't,
but if he could, in theory everything he said, he
would just sit there with his middle finger up while
he was talking, kind of like that's what we're gonna do,
and you got to you know, or or you know
how people like rub their nose with their middle.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Finger after four years of what do you went through?
Speaker 5 (33:50):
I can't plan fix your glasses with your middle fingers,
scratch your nose with your middle finger. I just did envision.
And that's again that's partly why people love him. Yeah,
and partly why people hate him. The ones who do
hate true enough. Yeah, just sit there with your with
your middle finger up going up yours.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
Well, you can let Ben and I know whether you
think it's truth or or a troll with with the
astronauts being left in space for political reasons. You can
