(00:00):
Today we're going to be taking alook at how the immigration crisis is affecting
Democrat voters and what Joe Biden plansto do about it. Some hillbillies in
Central Florida have kidnapped Godzilla and staytuned until the end of the show to
hear about a great way to killtwo hours. Let's jump right in.
In a world that's constantly buzzing withupdates, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by
(00:21):
the sheer volume of headlines and information. That's why I'm here to help you
navigate the endless waves of day today updates. I'm Ethan Buchanan and this
is Newswave. Alrighty, good afternoon, morning and evening. Welcome back into
news Wave. I just want togive you a quick update about this situation
(00:42):
in New Mexico. Of course, that was our topic on Monday, and
now we have an update as ofyesterday. I'm sorry, not yesterday.
It actually was on Monday that thishappened. The Bernolio County Sheriff did make
the statement that he was not goingto be enforcing this band of the carrying
of firearms. Here's a quick clipof that from him in reference to conceal
(01:04):
carry an open carry. The BurlioCounty Sheriff's Office will not enforce this segment
of the order. Will I understandthe urgency the temporary band challenges the foundations
of her constitution, but most importantly, it is unconstitutional. My ol was
to protect the constitution, and thatis what I will do, all right,
(01:29):
And that's just great stuff all around. That's from a press conference on
Monday that happened just after our showaired. I also did just to confirm.
I called the sheriff's office myself ofthat county and said, hey,
what's going on with this? Wheredo y'all stand on this? Of course,
the lady to answer the phone wassuper nice. She pointed me to
the press conferences, and she didconfirm that the sheriff was not going to
be enforcing this band out of BernoluloCounty, which is huge news and incredibly
(01:53):
important. This demonstrates the necessity ofpaying attention to your local election. It
is very important to make sure thatat every single level you have somebody in
office that understands the constitution and understandswhat their role is, because if this
had been something somebody else, thenthis could be looking a whole lot different,
(02:14):
but thanks to the fact that thereis a common sense man in the
sheriff's office in Bernolilo County, thatwill not be enforced by the sheriff.
Of course, there's still the statepolice that may or may not be enforcing
it. I'm not sure. Idon't know how kind of the chain of
commander. I don't know if there'ssomebody under the governor that can nix that
order or order the police not toenforce it. The state police that is
(02:36):
in New Mexico, I just Idon't know how their system works. But
the good news is the sheriff therewill not be enforcing that, So that's
a huge win. This sheriff definitelydeserves a pat on the back for that
and definitely deserves support for that greatdecision. Yeah, this is just a
really good reminder for all of thehubbub and whatnot that goes around for big
(02:58):
national elections like the presidential election andeven gubernatorial races. Those really do not
matter as much to you as alocal citizen as things like who is your
mayor, who is your kind countysheriff, who is on your city's city
council. That stuff is really thestuff that has the most effect on you,
and it doesn't get the press coveragethat it deserves. So definitely keep
(03:22):
an eye on that. Watch yourlocal channels, listen to your local radio
stations, and keep an eye onyour local elections. Because this local sheriff
just saved a bunch of people fromhaving their constitutional rights violated, So big
shout out to him. All Right, now, I want to kind of
jump into what I meant to talkabout Monday before all of this ended up
happening. So by now we're allkind of familiar with the immigration situation.
(03:44):
It's no secret to anybody out therethat illegal immigration is absolutely out of control.
It has been since Joe Biden hastaken office. It has only gotten
worse now. Of course, itdoes comes in waves, so it's time
where there's times where it's a littlebit lower, and then there's times where
it's a little bit higher, andJoe and we'll go flaunt those lower times
as look at what a great jobwe're doing when he's actually not really doing
anything at all. But it's justit's seasonal. Like everything else. When
(04:06):
it's super hot, a bunch ofpeople don't want to go and try to
cross the border, and then whenit cools off a little bit, it'll
spike way back up again because it'snot a thousand degrees outside in the Texas
Mexico border. So as we startto kind of cool off, I predict
that we will start to see alot more a big fluctuation of illegal immigration.
So the question on my mind andon a bunch of other people's minds,
(04:27):
is what's actually being done about this. We've had in Arizona, they've
built a wall themselves out of shippingcontainers, and of course Joe Biden ordered
it be taken down via lawsuits inthe court and whatnot. And here in
Texas we've got our floating border wallthat has been ordered by a judge to
be taken down, and then itwas appealed by Greg Gabbott and now they've
said, in the meantime, whilethis plays out in court, we can
(04:49):
leave it up. So as ofright now, we still have our floating
border wall in the Mexico or inthe Rio Grand River on the US Mexico
border. But of course, everythinggo so far. You know, we're
doing everything we can do, butwhen you have the federal government actively working
against us and every time we dosomething to kind of put a damper on
this, it immediately gets struck downby some obscure federal court. There's only
(05:12):
so much you can do. Anddespite the efforts of Governor Greg Abbott and
Operation Loan Star and the kind ofcadre of GOP governors that have actually been
trying to do the federal government's jobin defending the security of our nation,
we have still got this massive surgeof illegal immigrants, and that begs the
question, what do we do withthese people? Well, the answer,
of course is, as always theloving and generous Democratic Party that has gone
(05:38):
so far out of their way tocreate all these sanctuary cities across the country,
for us to send these migrants to. Right, That's what they wanted,
that's what they voted for, sanctuarycity policies. You send your migrants
here. The migrants come here,we will not deport them. We will
do all of our best to makethem feel absolutely at home. Right.
So, of course Greg Abbott, out of his generosity, pays for the
(06:00):
gas and everything to bust those illegalimmigrants there. And now we've seen illegal
immigrants sent to Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Martha's vineyard, the
whole nine yards. But this crisishas reached such a point now that even
massive cities like Chicago are starting torun out of infrastructure to support this.
And what do you do. Youhave to start sending them to the suburbs.
(06:21):
You can't start sending them away becausethen that lets everybody know that you
are actually just lying and virtue signalingthe entire time, and you actually don't
care about these migrants. Do Youjust care about making yourself look like the
nice people, and you care aboutmaking the Republicans look like the mean people
who won't let the dreamers into thecountry. That's not what's going on here.
We don't have the infrastructure for allthis. And it turns out even
(06:44):
these sanctuary cities don't have the infrastructurefor all this, And so they start
sending into the suburbs. And asthe Democrat voters in the suburbs of these
Democrats cities start seeing the consequences ofhow they cast their ballot, they're not
happy about it. So here's aclip from I don't know what the news
sources, but it was posted onTwitter by end wokeness, and this,
I think perfectly examples what's going onright now. In these big sectuary cities
(07:08):
like Chicago, it's important is thatwe really established that this is a humanitarian
crisis and we're here. Seuth ShoreResidence responded with resounding rejection. While this
crisis may constitute an emergency for thecity of Chicago, it does not constitute
(07:29):
an emergency for the South Shore community. Incoming migrants have overwhelmed district police stations
by the hundreds, and it's myturn, it's my turn. Hello.
But city leaders could barely eke outa word of the details about a proposed
respite center at the former south ShoreHigh School. When it comes to the
total number of people at south Shoreat any given point in time, it
(07:53):
is fluid. We'd start with twofifty five hundred. How could you do
that without consulting. I am concernedwith safety in the area. I don't
know why y'all are so upset.I really don't. This is what you
voted for. This, once again, just goes to perfectly demonstrate how important
local elections are. These people votedfor a mayor and for a city council
(08:16):
and for these Democrat operatives that we'regoing to go and make this city a
sanctuary city that was on their platform. It's been on Democrat platforms for years,
in local elections for years, andthese people voted for it. And
now they're upset because it's time toput their money where their mouth is.
And so now we've seen over thelast couple of years, as they start
housing immigrants in fancy hotels in NewYork, there's a little bit of outrage,
(08:41):
and then people forget about it.And now we're starting to see them
get to the point where they're puttingthem in schools, in school gymnasiums and
whatnot. And now people are actuallygetting really upset about it and they're speaking
out. But honestly, Crimere River, Crimeer River, I want to feel
bad for you, but we herein Texas have been dealing at this for
a long time. So first ofall, welcome to the party, pal,
(09:03):
We've been here all right. Andsecond of all, this is what
you voted for. Well, Ididn't vote for him to stay in the
school gymnasium, but you voted forhim to stay in the city, and
they got to stay somewhere. Wheredid you think they were gonna go?
What did you think was gonna happen? There's only so many homeless shelters in
the city of Chicago, and they'refull of American homeless Chicago citizens. There's
(09:26):
only so many hotel rooms in thecity of New York, and they're filled
again with homeless people with veterans. There's already programs that are filling up these
spaces with American citizens, and soyou're bringing in all these outside people,
and you're surprised now that these spacesare being taken up by illegal immigrants.
You voted for them to stay inyour city. They were going to stay
(09:50):
somewhere the entire time. So honestly, crimea River, I want to feel
bad for you, but I don't, And if I'm being honest with myself,
I really don't want to feel badfor you. There's that little cynical
part of me that's like, youknow what, good, I'm glad you're
realizing that we were right the entiretime, and now that you realize there's
a problem, maybe you'll vote tofix it. But what's probably going to
(10:11):
happen, because we've already seen thishappen in places like New York and Los
Angeles, is people will just leavethe city and they'll come to Republican areas
where we're not dealing with this becausewe don't have the patience for it,
and we're not going to tolerate it, and we're not going to pretend that
we want this just so we canvirtue signal and then throw a fit when
we actually have to deal with it. But of course, the predictable outcome
(10:31):
of all this is the Democratic Partyis starting to realize that this might end
up costing them votes. They're startingto realize that saying where a sanctuary city
is popular, being a sanctuary cityis not popular. And now we've come
to the point where you now haveto be a sanctuary city, not just
talk about it, but fear notlocal Democrats. Grandpa Joe is swooping into
(10:52):
save you not by closing the border, because the say you're a sanctuary city
because people like it concepts still applies. So Joe Biden can't shut the border.
What he can do is take stepsto make sure that the Democrat voters
who are voting for these open borderpolicies and sanctuary city policies never actually have
to end up dealing with the consequencesof their vote. How does he intend
(11:13):
to do that? According to brightBart. He's just going to make them
all stay in Texas. So DonaldTrump had to remain in Mexico policy.
Now Joe Biden has a remain inTexas policy. So all the Republicans and
the people in Texas can just continueto deal with this problem and be overwhelmed
by it, and it can continueto crush our small cities like El Paso
and Brownsville, beautiful towns that I'vehad the pleasure to visit that are being
(11:37):
destroyed by these open border policies. And what are we gonna do. We're
going to prevent the ability of thelocal governors there to mitigate that. We're
just going to make them all stayright there, and you can't send them
anywhere else. According to Brightbart News, President Joe Biden is reportedly considering a
plan to require illegal aliens with dubiousasylum claims to remain in Texas, a
(11:58):
move that would see the lone starstate absorbed ends of thousands of illegal aliens
every week. This is insane.Texas does not have the infrastructure for this.
Texas has bigger and more important thingsto be doing. It is not
our job to be taking care ofevery single person in the planet. We
have Texans that need Texas' attention. That's where our energy should be, That's
(12:22):
where our budget surplus should be going. It should be going to improving the
lives of Texans. And if youwant to become a Texan, I am
all about it. Texas has along and proud history of people immigrating to
Texas and becoming Texans, starting inthe eighteen twenties and even farther. But
you have to come across the borderlegally. You have to come into Texas
(12:43):
legally. You have to go throughthe proper channels, and we will welcome
you with open arms, as wehave been doing for coming up on two
hundred and fifty years. If Isound fired up, it's because I am
sick of Texans and our kind ofallied sister states doing all the brunt work
and really doing Joe Biden's job here, really doing the federal government's job in
(13:07):
protecting our borders. They're supposed tobe benefits to being a state inside of
the United States. That's why Texasconsented to being annexed all the way back
in eighteen forty six. There weresupposed to be upsides to this, and
right now we have not seen verymany as of late. It's just been
a whole lot of us doing thefederal government's job, and I am just
(13:30):
about sick of it. I amjust about sick of it all right.
Now for a little bit of goodnews. I've gone on long enough about
this. If I keep talking aboutit, I'm gonna just get mad,
or I guess more mad, becauseI'm pretty worked up about it as it
is. But now for a littlebit of rare good news coming out of
Congress, coming out of Washington,DC. Take it away, Speaker McCarthy,
I am directing our House Committee toopen a formal impeachment inquiry into President
(13:54):
Joe Biden. This logical next stepwill give our commits is the full power
to gather all the facts and answersfor the American public. It's exactly what
we want to know, the answers. I believe the President would want to
answer these questions and allegations as well. This effort will be led by Chairman
(14:16):
James Comer at the Committee on Oversight, in coordination with Chairman Jim Jordan for
Judiciary Committee and Chairman Jason Smith onWays and Means. Yeah, baby,
that's what I'm going for now, what does this mean essentially as of right
now, really nothing. This isnot a formal impeachment. This is an
(14:37):
impeachment inquiry. They're just looking tosee is there evidence that would warrant an
impeachment. They're not impeaching, they'reinvestigating the possibility of impeachment. But nevertheless,
regardless, it is a step. It's a small step, but it
is a step, and it's onethat we kind of saw the precursor to
a couple of weeks ago, ora couple of days ago. Actually,
(14:58):
forgive me, we talked about thisa little. I believe it was the
Friday Show. Joe Biden obviously sawthis coming. He was preparing for it.
He's been staffing up impeachment personnel inhis White House, and now here
we have the formal impeachment inquiry.Where this will go, I don't know.
I am still ever cynical about this. I feel like when it really
comes down to the wire, theRepublican needs are gonna buckle and this will
(15:20):
become another nothing burger. But crossyour fingers, pray hope, so all
hope we may actually get some resultsout of this, at the very least
we'll get more information out of thisand maybe we can sway the twenty twenty
four election in a positive direction. After the nation as a whole sees the
fact that Joe Biden is plainly andclearly as corrupt as the day is long
(15:43):
already, that is going to doit for the news today. So with
that out of the way, let'sgo ahead and jump straight into stuff that
I saw online. Alrighty, stuffI saw online today. If any of
you were wondering if there's a goodreason to move to Florida, I have
found an article that will confirm toyou that there is not. There is
just no good reason for any living, breathing parson who values their life in
(16:06):
safety to be living in the stateof Florida. And here's why. Florida
is, without a doubt one hundredpercent the Australia of the United States.
And what do I mean by that? What is in Australia disgusting and horrifying,
monstrous creatures, bugs that you havenever even seen, the likes of
bugs that you couldn't have imagined, stuff straight out of a Stephen King novel.
(16:27):
And Florida has got almost the samething, except they've just got really
big, stupid, massive, frickingalligators. Man, these alligators are huge.
Here's a article from twelve newsnow dotcom. I believe that's a local
station, local ABC station out ofFlorida. Quote he was a giant.
(16:48):
Hunters catch massive nine hundred twenty poundalligator in central Florida. That's Godzilla.
Hunters caught Godzilla in Florida. Okay. According to Captain Kevin Brots, it's
rare to come across a gator thisbig, rare. What do you mean
rare? That should never happen. It shouldn't be a this is rare thing.
(17:10):
It should be all, oh mygod, we have changed the world
with this discovery. That's what hisreaction should be. He says. His
second biggest came out just a coupleof inches smaller, Just a couple of
inches, not a big deal. It's just a few inches smaller than this
almost a thousand pound alligator. Whileliving in Florida, it's almost a given
that people will run into alligators hereand there. But have you ever seen
(17:33):
a nine hundred and twenty pound alligator? Yes, you read that correctly.
Hunters in central Florida, close tothe Orlando area can confirm they know what
a nine hundred and twenty pound, thirteen feet three and a half inches long
gator looks like? Does anyone knowabout like nuclear testing in central Florida that
like nobody told us about. Hasthe media just completely missed like a nine
(17:56):
mile island or three mile island incentral Floria? What's going on over there
in Orlando? What's Disney World beenup too lately? Captain Kevin Brought's,
founder of Florida Gator Hunting, explainedto ten Tampa Bay it started out as
just a normal day of hunting forhim and his two friends when they came
across a large scale critter they wouldend up capturing hours later. Brod said
(18:17):
he made it clear that he wasn'tgoing to harvest a gator unless it was
really big twelve or thirteen foot one, and he thought it wasn't going to
happen. After harvesting close to athousand gators in his life between personal hunts
and trips with clients, Brod saidhe knew catching a big one was quote
an absolute needle in a haystack. After two hours of hunting, the hunters
(18:37):
came across the large gator, butdidn't end up catching him. Then Brod
said, they saw the gator, tried to catch it, couldn't get close
enough, and ended up having toleave it. Why would you go back
for that? How what has tosnap in a man's mind for him to
disregard death so much, and sucha horrible death as that would have been
to say, you know what,We've got a third teen foot long,
(19:00):
thousand pound gator and I'm gonna gotouch it. I'm gonna go poke it
with a stick. Only in Florida, man, only in Florida. These
people are a different breed. Theydon't fear death, they don't fear monsters,
they don't fear disease or famine. They fear only living a boring life,
(19:21):
and they will do whatever it takesto avoid that fate, even if
that involves going up and trying torastle a thousand pound creature of death.
And this is just a kind offunny fun story that I came across,
and it blew my mind that there'seven such thing as a gator that big,
And then it blew my mind thatsomeone would go try and touch it.
(19:41):
And then of course it was somebodyin Florida. But Yeah, there's
a there's a video to go alongwith it. Go look at the pictures
and whatnot. It's it's definitely something. It's a big old alligator. This
this thing is way way huge.Like I can't describe to you enough how
massive this alligator is. But yeah, just go type in the headline thousand
pounds thirteen foot gator, look forthe article. It'll it'll pop up.
(20:04):
It's an interesting read, and it'sit's a neat looking gator. I'll give
you that. The pictures he postedthere, they're neat pictures. This guy's
gonna have some pretty neat bragging rights. He will have the ultimate bar story
from now until the end of time. So definitely go check it out.
And now with that, let's goahead and segue straight into random recommendations.
(20:26):
All right, Today, on randomrecommendations, I want to harken back to
Oliver Anthony. He's the guy whodid Richmond. North of Richmond. He
sents released a couple more songs. They're both really good. I'm starting to
become more and more of a fanof this guy. He seems like a
really genuine dude just he really justcares about the music and the art.
And putting out something positive and Ireally respect that a lot. There's there's
(20:47):
not enough of that in the worldthese days. But he did a podcast
episode with Jordan B. Peterson.I'm a huge fan of Jordan Peterson.
I have been for a while, especially now that he's kind of teamed up
with Daily Wire. I'm a bigDaily Wire fan. But yeah, Jordan
Peterson did a really good just kindof deep dive with Oliver Anthony about everything.
They talked a lot about just kindof who he wants to be as
(21:11):
an artist and whatnot. I thoughtthat was he said a lot of really
good stuff, and then Jordan Petersonwas just kind of sitting there just offering
him really positive advice and whatnot howto kind of be that star, be
that that superstar music artist, butnot do that at the expense of his
authenticity and at the expense of whathis vision is for his art. It
(21:33):
was just a really super interesting podcast. It's it's the longest podcast I've ever
sat through. Normally, I don'thave patience for more than about an hour
of a podcast at most, whichis why I make this one so short.
Because I know people's attentions. Bandsare small and I'm no exception,
but in this one he did areally good job of just sucking me into
it, and I ended up sittingthrough all two hours of this podcast episode.
(21:56):
I just really enjoyed watching these twopeople talk. Oliver Anthony is an
incredibly smart person and Jordan Peterson isalso an incredibly smart person. And when
two incredibly smart people sit down togetherand have a chat, interesting thing has
happened. So definitely go sit throughthis podcast. I know it's two hours
long, and that's a long timefor a lot of people, but find
yourself the time. You don't haveto listen to it all at once,
(22:17):
cut it up, just fit itinto your schedule. Highly recommend it.
It was a really good episode ofJordan's podcast, and I cannot recommend it
to you enough. Just get onYouTube and search up Olliver Anthony Jordan Peterson.
It'll be the first option up there. Alrighty, that is going to
do it for today's episode of newsWave. Once again, thank you all
very much for listening. As always, check us out on Spotify, Apple
(22:37):
Podcasts, and the iHeartRadio app.Give us a review, give us a
follow on all of those platforms.Definitely helps out the show. And I
would appreciate it very very much, and of course stay tuned for the Friday
edition of the show. I'm goingto be keeping an eye over the next
couple of days on the past andimpeachment trial and this situation in New Mexico
with the governor banning concealed and opencarry of guns in Albuquerque, and I'll
(23:00):
be bringing you the latest need toknow updates on those stories coming up on
Friday. Once again, thank youall very much for listening. I anything
