Health Hack: Just Do Everything Faster
Not into working out? You might be off the hook—kind of. A new study in Circulation says that rushing through daily chores might give you some of the same health perks as actual exercise.
Researchers followed 24,000 people who didn’t regularly work out. The ones who did things like speed-vacuuming, briskly taking out the trash, or power-walking to the mailbox had dramatically better heart health. Some even cut their risk of heart attack or stroke in HALF.
And get this: even five minutes of “fast living” a day made a difference. So if your life already feels like a chaotic sprint, congrats—you’re basically training for a marathon.
