Health Hack: Just Do Everything Faster

Not into working out? You might be off the hook—kind of. A new study in Circulation says that rushing through daily chores might give you some of the same health perks as actual exercise.

Researchers followed 24,000 people who didn’t regularly work out. The ones who did things like speed-vacuuming, briskly taking out the trash, or power-walking to the mailbox had dramatically better heart health. Some even cut their risk of heart attack or stroke in HALF.

And get this: even five minutes of “fast living” a day made a difference. So if your life already feels like a chaotic sprint, congrats—you’re basically training for a marathon.

TikTok’s Latest Snack Trend: Frosting, No Cake Required

TikTok is out here ruining dinner again, and this time it’s with straight-up frosting. It all started when creator Audrey Rose posted a video eating Funfetti frosting out of the tub, calling it “like yogurt, but unhealthy.” Boom—11 million views and a nationwide Funfetti shortage later, we have a trend.

Experts say a spoonful is fine...just maybe don’t demolish a whole tub in one sitting. But if you’re looking to spice up your next grocery trip, that neon-blue frosting is now officially snack food.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's what's trending.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
If you don't have time to work out today, don't
worry about it. Just do everything that you do faster.
What this is a new health hack that's now going viral,
which is don't exercise, just do your chores fast. Take
the trash out fast, make sure that you're walking briskly
down the hall.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Whatever it is.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
The idea is that even five minutes of rushing per
day can make a difference on your health, just to
get your blood pumping, so you don't have to get
your heart pumping from lifting. You can get your heart
pumping from vacuumine. Which actually the days that I do
like heavy cleaning and do all of the things that's cardio,
Like if you're getting into all the cracks, that's really cardio.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
You can also do the opposite and just do it
really slow and focused and flex.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Every single muscle while you're doing it.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
So while you're sweeping, just oh yeah, wherever you're working
on that day, I guess when you're cleaning, if it's
a cardio or if you want to try to you know,
get some gains.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Bro, that's actually a really good idea. You could yeah,
That's what.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
I do sometimes when I clean, just to mess around,
I just pretend on my like a ninja.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Like isometric contractions while you're sweeping.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Yeah, robot. Yeah, it's more of a game for me.
But it's fun.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
But sometimes I get sore, like my forems will be
sore because I'm like grabbing out of things all hard.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Why not.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Grip strength is important, Victoria, especially when you're a ninja
or a samurai or a samurai robot just cleaning the house.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
And you're clearly a samurai robot, so that makes perfect sense.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
I robots need to clean the house too.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
I feel like that just means.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
If you go into Jebbel's house, there's like holes everywhere
because he's kicking the walls and trying to think he's
gonna be like Mark or and stuff. And yeah, it's
really funny because I have conversations with my friends, right
and they'll be like, I'm cleaning and I'm in a
music video, and then there's Jubil, I'm a samurai. Everybody's
got their thing cleaning up my dojo. TikTok's got a
new trend. This is very opposite of what we were

(01:46):
just talking about, and the trend is to eat frosting
out of the tub. You guys, have we not been
eating frosting out of the tub forever?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Oh, you mean like the tub the frosting comes in. Yeah,
I was thinking bathtub, so was I.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
It's like the top. I'm sorry, Do I need to
say the container that the frosting for me?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah, it was very confused.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Well, apparently the blue funfetti frosting has been making its
rounds because it's like eating yogurt but unhealthy.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
I don't even know why. I just wanted to talk about.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
It because it's so ridiculous that this has now become
a thing that people are making videos just to get
views eating frosting out the top, which is delicious.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Actually, I don't why that's entertaining though. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
We're shocking exactly like that stuff out of the containers
that come in forever, right?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I mean, Will said, what did you tell us the
other day that you had like a whole jar of
peanut butter going through T s A, which is basically
the same thing you're just eating out of the jar.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Very different.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I don't want to know why. Normal to me, I
don't do it but it feels normal, I guess because
it's stuple. And then Happy Gilmore. Happy Gilmore is making
it's debut to the street. Well, okay, Happy Gilmore too
is making its debut to the streaming services. But in
honor of that, the original Happy Gilmore is going to

(03:09):
be returning to theaters on April twenty seven.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Cool in April thirtieth.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Now, you know how we have all those kind of
viral videos coming out after people see the Minecraft movie, Like,
I know it's chicken and stuff, but I don't think
we've had a movie where Adam Sandler is on the
big screen in a while. That's a perfect opportunity for
people to do ridiculous things. What do you mean in
the theaters?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Do ridiculous like crazy things in the theaters? Yeah, what
are we doing in theaters?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Is that doing about Adam Sandler? It's just craziness, It's
just absolute insanity. Well to all, we.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Were just talking about chickens in the theater for Minecraft
and the popcorn and all that stuff, And that's all
those viral.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Videos that people were like chanting cops had to be
called I remember that, and in the because of chicken Jockey.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, Craft thing.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I'm just doing a prediction saying that with this in
the theaters, the theaters is the info.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
My prediction is that I'm really glad.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I'm excited Happy Gilmore too, that it's gonna be so good.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah, I mean, I'll watch it.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
I'm so excited for this.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Just another movie for guys to religious.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
I really am. I know it's so excited, but like,
I just don't want to mess it up. I'm a
little nervous. Yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Don't think they'll mess it up. Let's just help, you know,
vile until then. You imagine when Happy Gilmore was made.
I guarantee you nowhere anybody thought in the future of
someone to be saying like, I hope they don't mess
this movie.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
They do this movie justice.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
There's so many quotable things from me, I love you.
That's what's trending.
