a better teaching job. He's at Buckeye Valley now, so
he starts tomorrow and then Elgin starts Thursday. And I
think a lot of schools start on Thursday.

Football is getting moved up to football's next week.

holidays too. Spring break's gone for a lot of schools now.

No spring break got added to at least a couple
of high schools I know of, I never had a

we also got out earlier.

biggest change was when I was over Danville, they took

and you know, seeing how their coaching scheme is, and

was one game away, you know, from a state playing

Working long hours still mostly just because we got a
lot of stupid projects going on at work, So getting
up early and then coaching football until five thirty, six thirty.
I think tomorrow will be done about five thirty. So yeah,
one week away to week one. I'm thoroughly excited. Defensive

line is definitely personally is not going to be the
strong suit of our team this year like it was
last year, but it's it's got to be a key asset,
is my final takeaway before we go into Upper on Thursday.
But I will say are the biggest thing is going
to carry us this year is how much seniority it's spent.
Like the seniority guys, Like the senior guys that have

played and got a bunch of playing time, they're going
to carry us this year thoroughly. I think if leadership
steps up, we could have a the at if not
close to or better than the season we had last year.
Other than that, I'm excited. We open up with an

away game and oh what is it? The Oh Report
is actually coming down to our area the week after
and doing the Ridgeio game. So that's gonna be pretty
big awesome. I mean that's they're pretty big in Crawford.

County and the like they've been getting there.

Starting County is what we were told they are started
because our coach, Zach Winslow, he went over to their
studio and did a recording or did a live show
with them, and he said that they're going to start
hopefully coming and doing more games this way if there's

Yes, I'm usually watching football, watching the other team we're
about to play. I try to Okay, let me give
you an insight of how my weeks go, since you
want to talk about high school football.

So we had our Monday practice week we play on
Thursday this week, which we've had this last year. We
played on a Thursday week ten, so we had our
Monday intro, so we kind of intro the team in Hey,
I did scouting for two or three hours on Sunday
on upper on a set of film that we got,
wrote out a quick description of their offense. Since I'm

a defensive coach, and said, hey, this is what I
think is going to hurt us. This is what's going
to be good. This is the best lineman, this is
the best, this is the worst lineman. Blah blah blah.
So so today it was an actual padded practice, which
is defensive heavy. Tomorrow is going to be a huge
tune up, so offensive defensive tune up, and then Thursday
we're right into it.

Now we're still scrimmage based, but we'll play our scrimmage Friday.
I think we'll have film after school Saturday. We actually
have off now go to week one, So, like I said,
I'm gonna go watch Cartington on Friday because that's their
preview we start with Cartington, so I'll watch Cartington take notes.
I won't have to watch film because I already have

my notes, so I'll write out my game plan from there,
and then Monday we'll intro. Tuesday's usually defensive day. Wednesdays
are heavy offensive day and defense and offensive tuneupe, Thursday's
walk through, Friday game. Yeah, Saturday, I'm usually at good
at the complex. Let's see we get back from an

away game Cartington. That's not that far. It's about a
thirty minute drive, so done by what nine thirty ten o'clock.

get home about twelve thirty one in the morning. I'm

go over film with players, do recovery session, JV games

But I want to stick on our high school conversation because, gentlemen,
there's been a little bit of stuff going on in
the news about high school football and it is not
good things about what was going down with this situation.

So two Alabama high school football coaches have resigned, have
been given multiple different actions upon from the school board
and parents and such from their actions from practice.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Oh okay, I can see where this is going.

Hoover High School in Alabama had two high school football
coaches resign for what is deemed as inappropriate behavior, which
once we talk about it, I think inappropriate behavior is
very minor of what happened. To the conversation, and they
have video because I think they might have had a
drone or something watching their practice that they put on

to see how their practices were going, and somebody, somebody
got the video and posted it.

So I've kind of heard some speculation about it.

Yes, two coaches, yes, head coach and defensive coordinator. Oh
so head coaches Drew Gilmour Gilmer and Adam Helms, which
is the defensive coordinator.

I have not seen any charges filed or anything along
those lines. I'm a little behind on it. But the
biggest thing is they were removed and let go from positions,
and I think parents are trying to go after them
even more.

So what I've heard is they've assaulted kids at.

dude's face mask.

It was very weird because multiple coaches had come up.
I think a coach had kind of came what I've.

Seen on social media since I've started looking into it,
drug his nuts across high schooler's face mask, humped the helmet,
blah blah blah.

Well, and then he tea bagged the one kid when
he was getting he was trying to get up, another
coach had kind of come up to like check on him,
it seemed like, and make sure that he was good.
And then the other coach had just kind of like
stepped up and like freaking tea bagged right up onto
his head. And I'm like, Okay, that's that's just nasty.
You're a grown man doing that to a child.

First of that's not coaching. That's it's called a fucking
power trip.

authority and now you can do whatever you want to

I'm pissed off that people like there's been questions on

I'm guessing so one of them was a head coach
with the head humping or whatever tea bagging. The other
I believe went t bagging, went up and grabbed him
by the face mask and ripped his helmet off. Oh yeah, no,
that's the kids fell over when he ripped the helmet off.

looked like the film was taken like the school seems wealthy.
They have a drone. This all looked like drone footage.
I would love to have a drone to watch over
my defensive line of practice. That'd be great.

So I that in all honesty. That is not coaching.
And if you ever put yourself in a position as
an adult with that, you deserve everything that's coming to you.
I mean, it's straightforward. There was coaching. There is no

you could have a down year, you could have a
great year. But that no, and especially Alabama is where
