Speaker 1 (00:03):
It's okay. You have to have CTE kicked in from
the last time.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
What happened to the dojo stays and asana? But then
yet it's still leaked to the internet self burnt. Those
are rare.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
This is a family friendly podcast ship.
Speaker 2 (00:17):

Get up, you cocksuckers.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
That's time for the intro.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Welcoming in for the traveling circus leading the way. It's
everybody's fan favorite chairman.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Alang bye, old man.
Speaker 4 (01:10):
The shirt goes great with your hat. You just everybody
took my word for it.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
I just realized you were wearing your ACE shirt. Yes,
I still have a post of that video.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Yes, your A's shirt.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
From your bachelor party. Yes, a Rainbow Warriors hat.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
Absolute. This is what I was told to wear.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
You were told to wear that.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
I was told to wear that.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
I think in a specific chat to this was all
you had left at your house because it's laundry day.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
It was laundry.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Ye, Come on to mismatched socks man. Come on, It's londerday.
Every day in my world.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Kylie had one day off this week and she said,
I've got to spend it doing laundry and I'm like,
it's so mad.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Well, that's you know what. I'll on that one. Because
she does cheers with the cheer glass. Someone had to
become my bum because of that.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yeah, she she started back this week. She is not happy,
not a happy camper.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Adulting stuff. Will not recommend it does.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, Elgin starts Thursday, which why would you start on
the Thursday.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
It's so weird. But I don't know that something with
the scheduling. She doesn't have kids this week. I don't
think she has kids for another week.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Our head coach he got a better he's he got
a better teaching job. He's at Buckeye Valley now, so
he starts tomorrow and then Elgin starts Thursday. And I
think a lot of schools start on Thursday.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Rever Valley someone was telling Member Valley started today.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Football is getting moved up to football's next week.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Dude. The next thing you know, they're gonna like they're
gonna be starting like the I would say closer to
the in between the first to the eighth if I
keep moved up this far.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah, but I don't know. I think. Also the other hand,
I don't know. It's very weird because they're taking away
holidays too. Spring break's gone for a lot of schools now.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
No spring break got added to at least a couple
of high schools I know of, I never had a
I was.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
Gonna say, I won't be surprised with them starting early
if they tie in that like a day or two
from winter.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
When I was in high school around here, I never
had spring break. Every other school did. We didn't, but
we also got out earlier.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
You guys also had a break. Did you guys get
a day for hunting season though?
Speaker 2 (03:31):
M so it was written in our in our handbook that.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
You guys could take a day off. See now. The
biggest change was when I was over Danville, they took
a day. They took the first day of hunting season.
They genuinely took the first day hunting season because so many.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Kids got out of Danville last Friday have fun over there. No,
they came to Triad. Oh, yeah, they are definitely gonna
make a run.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Dude. They had a hell of a run last year
they had they were Yeah, they tied a multiple round.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Yeah, I was gonna they came back.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yeah, and there D seven or D six seven, they're seven.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
They're pretty small, man. No, they are not small. God,
they're they're.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Not in size. I'm talking numbers.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
No, not that either.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
You haven't been in that school, brother.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
You haven't seen Okay, then the football team must be
half of the fucking school. It is probably Okay, that
makes sense, that makes sense. Those kids are very you know,
I will say that's a team that that's very passionate,
and you know, seeing how their coaching scheme is, and
you know, I would be pissed off too if I
was one game away, you know, from a state playing
(04:37):
for a state title.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
So oh yeah, go on to camp.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
But I I think there's gonna there could be a
high opportunity for them to be back. Oh absolutely absolutely.
They play with a lot of intensity.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
They've got a good group right now with the class
and it's just a good class.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
I got first hand watch it, so it's good class. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yes, But what's on the mind, sir, Oh boy? And
then we're coming back to high school conversation because that's
going to be the next piece too.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Working long hours still mostly just because we got a
lot of stupid projects going on at work, So getting
up early and then coaching football until five thirty, six thirty.
I think tomorrow will be done about five thirty. So yeah,
one week away to week one. I'm thoroughly excited. Defensive
(05:32):
line is definitely personally is not going to be the
strong suit of our team this year like it was
last year, but it's it's got to be a key asset,
is my final takeaway before we go into Upper on Thursday.
But I will say are the biggest thing is going
to carry us this year is how much seniority it's spent.
Like the seniority guys, Like the senior guys that have
(05:55):
played and got a bunch of playing time, they're going
to carry us this year thoroughly. I think if leadership
steps up, we could have a the at if not
close to or better than the season we had last year.
Other than that, I'm excited. We open up with an
(06:15):
away game and oh what is it? The Oh Report
is actually coming down to our area the week after
and doing the Ridgeio game. So that's gonna be pretty
big awesome. I mean that's they're pretty big in Crawford.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
County and the like they've been getting there.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Starting County is what we were told they are started
because our coach, Zach Winslow, he went over to their
studio and did a recording or did a live show
with them, and he said that they're going to start
hopefully coming and doing more games this way if there's
more marketing. And I saw absolutely there's marketing. So yeah,
(06:58):
because yeah, shit and drinking beer. Still, that's about it.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
That way to be, Chris. What's on the mind?
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Oh well, the kind of lightened it up.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
And it's it's football season week one of high school
starts next week, NFL preseasons underway.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
College football twelve days away.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Exactly, So yeah, so this time is gonna be busy.
It probably won't see me much. I'll be watching a
lot of football. That the gal understands that. But her
and I kind of did a little date night last week.
We went and got dinner and we went to a
mont Hen's game. We watched Toledo play Jacksonville and watching
(07:37):
them take the jumbo Shrimp to extra dings and then
get the walk off.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
So it wasn't a bad night.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
Good night with mut My other nature is cooperating and
I'm not complaining because it was a nice, cool night,
especially for baseball, and I'm like, I wish it was
this weather every freaking night, every day, every night.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
But it's gonna get again. I know, the spoiler again.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
I know, I know, I know, I know. Please don't spoil.
I already know it's coming.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
But anyway, football seasons.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Around the corner.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
Olympics are done, USA as always dominated with the metal count.
We took care of business, which I'm sure we'll chat
a bit more onto, but other than that, it.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Just living it up.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
So chairman, thank you for taking a break from your
traveling circus to come chat with us what's on the mind.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
But you're traveling circus absolutely.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
For my next trick, I will be balancing a ball
on my nose.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Oo.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Let's see it, just like you see bringing me here.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
This penny has been here since.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
You're gonna need it soon. But to start a football, yeah,
flip a corner. So, oh gosh, I don't even know.
Seventeen days, we're seventeen days from the wedding. It's getting
crunch time.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Yeah, just got the email saying my suit or tucks
should be will be in next week, should be in
next week.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
Yeah, your tucks is on the way, is what I
got that too.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Yeah, I'll look now.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
And after you saying that I forgot I was supposed
to send out a mass mask text everyone about the suit.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
We got an email. We don't need a mask. I
got it. I know how, I know how the wife
is though.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
It's fine, No, not about that, about after the wedding and.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
How we're bring your box with you to the hotel.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Here's what I'm telling you. You get it in the mail,
you try it on, make sure it fits it, don't
take care of it, get it sent back, do whatever,
or see if somebody else fits it. Then put it
right back in the box and until the day and
then day of put on back in the box before
you leave Saturday, and you can either leave it with
us or you can put it in the in the mail.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Yeah, you already checked it off of me. I'm leaving
it with you. If you're giving me that before, you
are giving me the but for me to not take
any more responsibility than I already have.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Absolutely, the best part of it all is it's not
even gonna be my responsibility. That said I will take
care of it, and I'm.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Like, oh yeah, So since you didn't. Yeah, exactly. I
hope you listen. You never showed up, you asked exactly.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
It's all right. He's joining our fantasy football league this
year too.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
It sounds like so.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
It's uh, it's gonna be fun. Yeah, and then we
got to figure out fantasy football. I'm ready for that.
Hopefully I get another one. That'll be uh, that'll be
my two championships in this league. I'm ready to hoist
that motherfucker high right above my head. I'm ready. You're
defending this year.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Aren't you. I am defending.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
You and me are the only to the champs. You
know this for three years. This is three year three,
So Clay won it. No, I want it won the
first year.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
You won, the second year, I won the third.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
So this is your four year four.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yeah, and we're trying to schedule a fucking eight am draft.
That's not going to work.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Then let's do he said, twelve thirty eight.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Some of us have to do football shit. We'll figure
it out.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
It's a Saturday.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
We do shit on saturdays past noon.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Twelve thirty.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yes, I'm usually watching football, watching the other team we're
about to play. I try to Okay, let me give
you an insight of how my weeks go, since you
want to talk about high school football.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Football.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
So we had our Monday practice week we play on
Thursday this week, which we've had this last year. We
played on a Thursday week ten, so we had our
Monday intro, so we kind of intro the team in Hey,
I did scouting for two or three hours on Sunday
on upper on a set of film that we got,
wrote out a quick description of their offense. Since I'm
(11:48):
a defensive coach, and said, hey, this is what I
think is going to hurt us. This is what's going
to be good. This is the best lineman, this is
the best, this is the worst lineman. Blah blah blah.
So so today it was an actual padded practice, which
is defensive heavy. Tomorrow is going to be a huge
tune up, so offensive defensive tune up, and then Thursday
we're right into it.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Now we're still scrimmage based, but we'll play our scrimmage Friday.
I think we'll have film after school Saturday. We actually
have off now go to week one, So, like I said,
I'm gonna go watch Cartington on Friday because that's their
preview we start with Cartington, so I'll watch Cartington take notes.
I won't have to watch film because I already have
(12:29):
my notes, so I'll write out my game plan from there,
and then Monday we'll intro. Tuesday's usually defensive day. Wednesdays
are heavy offensive day and defense and offensive tuneupe, Thursday's
walk through, Friday game. Yeah, Saturday, I'm usually at good
at the complex. Let's see we get back from an
(12:50):
away game Cartington. That's not that far. It's about a
thirty minute drive, so done by what nine thirty ten o'clock.
Because you guys here at the are you still are
you doing the shows here? Okay? So yeah, so I'll
be able to listen to you guys. You guys will
be doing the show while we're heading back. I'll usually
get home about twelve thirty one in the morning. I'm
(13:10):
back up at about seven in the morning and back
to the complex after we watched film, the after the game,
go over film with players, do recovery session, JV games
at home, watch some of that, go right back in.
I'm probably out of the complex by.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
One, so like a two or three would be a
good a better idea.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Yeah, Okay, Actually if you want me to, I could
if I have good signal, I can draft in there,
but there's no good signal there.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Yeah, it's we're kind.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Of gypped on the Wi fi, like how they dish
out Wi Fi to us. Now we get kind of
jypped on that, which to me is bullshit. But that's
a whole another topic.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
So well, we will figure out the time for that.
But real quick.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
Hipped?
Speaker 4 (14:04):
You know what will make you feel better from being jipped?
Speaker 3 (14:07):
I guess of this mystery pizza that is sitting.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
In front of me that they already told you the topics. No,
I'm just no, I'm actually not kidding. They screwed up
on us.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
That's okay, because.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
That is a heavy fucking pizza. Here we go, all right?
What is that a little bit of different today? Uh?
I've never smelled that before. I don't know, so Chris
accidentally got told what it is. Dude. It's weird. No,
(14:43):
shut up, dude, I've never smelled that come out of
that a pizza box like that. We've been doing this
for a while.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Weird, But I think I know what it could be.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Are you okay you're gonna guess? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (14:55):
I was gonna say, I hold your guesses.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
I got a huge smell of ramen.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
So what do you toppings is it?
Speaker 3 (15:08):
It's a specialty pizza.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
It's a specialty. So how are we supposed to guess this?
Speaker 3 (15:13):
I have a good guess what that Just take a
while guess.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
I'm getting kind of specialty.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
I'm gonna say, I know what the specialty is. I'm
just saying specialty.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
I'm excited for this one because what I'm just gonna say,
what kind of I feel like that's a dessert specialty.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
I feel like that's a dessert specialty. I can't tell
you what it is. It's very sweet, sweet, just to
dessert some sort ofores.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I don't know, all right.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
I think it's chizza.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
Wait a minute, wait a minute.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
If that's chicken and waffles, I'm about to go ape Ship.
Why you know what?
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Don't and give me my give me my thumb nail,
give me my thumbnail.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
Yeah, by the way, get that true Blues and Blues Fast,
August seventeen. Go check it out from eight shout out
of the Oka Cafe pushing it Go ape Ship because
it is a chicken and waffles flat.
Speaker 3 (16:20):

slipping the medium requick.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
So shout out of the Oka Cafe for the chicken
waffles flat bread pizza.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
We're definitely big fans of it here.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
And also big shout out.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
Not only did they do pizza, they hooked us up
with some most ups.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Go get one, check them out.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
We got the Marry location.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Now we're in Caledonia, you guys, Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
And you know what's that, dude?
Speaker 2 (16:59):
None of this Thames is what it's not.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
We bound our bumba the week.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
It's got it. It's gotta be it.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Yeah, that's my phone.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Yeah, that's the phone.
Speaker 5 (17:22):
Well here going on, Yeah, no, we'll just do it
not here. Well, just I gotta I gotta plan. Yeah,
we got it on the podcast.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
All right, so you guys heard it on the podcast.
We're just gonna we're gonna take a real quick pause
and we're gonna do an announcement for this. But you
guys heard it first. Chicken and waffles, flatbread. Go get
you some Marry Okay cafe is it available? Okay, Caledonia too.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
I know the location has it, but still go check
out the Okay.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Check it out, and we will be right back.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
We're back. A little bit of technical difficulties and everything
along those lines, but we we got it taken care of.
We did have the video. It was just hiding thankfully. Yes,
so we are good to go.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
It's probably not going to match the sound, but that's fine.
Not just kidding called magic.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
But I want to stick on our high school conversation because, gentlemen,
there's been a little bit of stuff going on in
the news about high school football and it is not
good things about what was going down with this situation.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Oh what happened now?
Speaker 1 (18:30):
So two Alabama high school football coaches have resigned, have
been given multiple different actions upon from the school board
and parents and such from their actions from practice.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Oh okay, I can see where this is going.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Hoover High School in Alabama had two high school football
coaches resign for what is deemed as inappropriate behavior, which
once we talk about it, I think inappropriate behavior is
very minor of what happened. To the conversation, and they
have video because I think they might have had a
drone or something watching their practice that they put on
(19:12):
to see how their practices were going, and somebody, somebody
got the video and posted it.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
So I've kind of heard some speculation about it.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Yes, two coaches, yes, head coach and defensive coordinator. Oh
so head coaches Drew Gilmour Gilmer and Adam Helms, which
is the defensive coordinator.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Charge charges.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
I have not seen any charges filed or anything along
those lines. I'm a little behind on it. But the
biggest thing is they were removed and let go from positions,
and I think parents are trying to go after them
even more.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Oh so this probably isn't the first time.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
So what I've heard is they've assaulted kids at.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Practice, yes, and it was just kind of the demeanor
of it as well, so derogatory nature. Yeah, because one coach.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
And I don't know, unquote drug his nuts across another
dude's face mask.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
It was very weird because multiple coaches had come up.
I think a coach had kind of came what I've.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Seen on social media since I've started looking into it,
drug his nuts across high schooler's face mask, humped the helmet,
blah blah blah.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Well, and then he tea bagged the one kid when
he was getting he was trying to get up, another
coach had kind of come up to like check on him,
it seemed like, and make sure that he was good.
And then the other coach had just kind of like
stepped up and like freaking tea bagged right up onto
his head. And I'm like, Okay, that's that's just nasty.
You're a grown man doing that to a child.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
First of that's not coaching. That's it's called a fucking
power trip.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
It's called bullying.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Yeah, that's called you think you have some sort of
authority and now you can do whatever you want to
those kids.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
That is not coaching, inappropriate and all.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
Now, don't get me wrong, I will be the first
one on this podcast to say I have a very
colorful mouth. I do. I can spit shit out when
I'm pissed off that people like there's been questions on
the sidelines last year specifically, there are ad heard us.
I mean, it's nothing new, you know, And he came
(21:34):
in and talked to us about it and we straightened up.
You know, sometimes you just need that little reel in
that is way too fucking far.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
No, Like, first off, from the one video, I saw
because you know, I have social media. I get bored
at work. The one video I saw where they shove
the kid down and it's like they just like mimic,
like just beat Like in my eyes, they were mimicked,
like just pouncing the kid and then the whole nut
(22:07):
dragger helmet hump, whatever the fuck you want to call it.
It's like, dude, that No, that's like immediate fire, like
that's there should be no hesitation.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
Well, and then they had another video of and I'm
guessing this was probably either well it was the other coach.
I'm guessing so one of them was a head coach
with the head humping or whatever tea bagging. The other
I believe went t bagging, went up and grabbed him
by the face mask and ripped his helmet off. Oh yeah, no,
that's the kids fell over when he ripped the helmet off.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Yeah, it's just no just and this. Yeah, and it
looked like the film was taken like the school seems wealthy.
They have a drone. This all looked like drone footage.
I would love to have a drone to watch over
my defensive line of practice. That'd be great.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Mm hm.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
So I that in all honesty. That is not coaching.
And if you ever put yourself in a position as
an adult with that, you deserve everything that's coming to you.
I mean, it's straightforward. There was coaching. There is no
gray area. It's black and white. Yes, you want to
stay out of well, you want to stay out of
(23:21):
either area. You deem which one's better. But you know,
you could have a down year, you could have a
great year. But that no, and especially Alabama is where
it happened. Yes, that's the wrong fucking state to fuck around.
I tell you what damn said.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Hell no, yeah, so I just thought to bring that up.
I knew that would be kind of a quick topic.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
No, honestly, it's yeah, the hammer on the head.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
They should have got fired, Like, yeah, they resigned, but
they should have got fired for it.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
That's not coaching.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
That's just that's just derogatory.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
It's just that like not only did they get fired,
but no one's gonna hire them never to be a.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
So and like my fucking kids, Like, trust me, I've
I've had those kids where I've I'll say to this day,
I've a motherfucked a kid before because he specifically was
literally screwing the entire drill and if you like, if
I'm gonna call a spade a spade, but if you
do it multiple times, it's gonna make me mad. Like
(24:30):
I didn't do it because I hated the kid. I
did it because personally his intent was intentional, Like, don't
do that, but like that's worse than motherfucking a kid.
Don't don't physically assault kids, and like no, just because
they're worrying pads doesn't mean that you can do that shit.
(24:50):
Absolutely no.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
Yeah, it's just it's scary, That's what really is. That's
kind of just negative and scary.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
It's just dumb, Like why it's scary that guys like
that I know are probably out there and they're not
getting caught. Yeah, I've dealt with shit like this before.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
It takes a drone camera to catch you.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Well yeah, and I hope it wasn't your drone camera
that you were filling practice with because that's just dumb. Absolutely,
Like you set yourself up for failure on that one. Yeah,
And you can't just walk into the ad and superintendent's
office who signed your paycheck and go oh, I was
just having a bad day, brother, That's not a bad day.
That's legit, like ruining a kid.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
In a fireable offense and a legal issue.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Oh yeah, parents, I mean depending on the age. Yeah,
I hope the kids are in eighteen. I if I
was that kid, well, I played slightly in a different time,
like I was still in the age of a coach
touched me, I might fight them. So, like, if a
coach did that to me, I'd probably yeah, you were there,
(26:02):
I wasn't that saying because I was there, probably get
kicked out of the fucking school. I'd probably beat him
within an inch of his fucking life and probably smashed
my home.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
Yeah, we had a head coach just go off and
then one of our former players just they legit person
went face to like they were about face to face,
just so loud.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
And yelling at one another.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I'll sell myself out here. Now. Granted it was years ago,
so nobody can do shiit to me now. It was
actually ten years ago. It's been ten years since my
senior year. My senior fall, we were playing Fredericktown at
home and we had yeah, we had uh, we had
a bench clearing brawl camp. On the top of my head,
my buddies might be better describing what happened. All I
(26:47):
remember is someone got thrown over. Fight broke out around
like the fifty yard line, on the opposite side of
the fifties. So like if you're if you're familiar with
elegenist towards the scoreboard, and I remember I ran over.
I shoved the Fredericktown kid off, shoved another Frederick Town
kid off, and a coach grabbed me and tried to
(27:08):
throw me out, one of their coaches. So I grabbed
him by his shoulders and slammed my face mask into
his face and busted his nose, like I'll sell myself
out on that, Like I did that years ago, and
thankfully the film was cut. But that's the only thing
(27:29):
that kind of saved me.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
Absolutely, yeah, But I mean I was eighteen at the time,
so I could get tried as an adult, which was shitty,
and you know, I was a young, dumb kid. I couldn't.
I didn't really think much back then. Yeah. Yeah, though
on the opposite end of the spectrum, Yeah no if no, no, no, zero, absolutely,
we can't do that.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
That's just even then. That was a no go there, cowboy.
But brother, let's keep talking football.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Yeah, Chris had to step up for a second. He's
got some stuff going on.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
No big deal at all. The NFL's back.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Man, Dude, the Browns did not look that good in preseason.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
They stunk it up preseason.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
I'm gonna I mean, what is it last year? They
went one for however many for the preseason and the
next thing you know, they're in the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
Well, and this was the biggest conversation I took away
talking to the old Man this weekend, because we met
up for breakfast on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
What the old Man has to say?
Speaker 1 (28:34):
The biggest conversation piece that we both said is it's preseason. Yeah,
if you win the preseason, you're usually destined to have
a horrible regular season. I think I've heard him say
that before, because, be honest, think about all of the
Browns good preseasons. One of we had good preseasons.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
Defeated preseason. Our sixteen year, sixteen year, fifteen year year
we had I think we had a one lost preseason game. Yes, yeah,
I'd say, if we're holding out our starters and we loseer, well,
I don't like the Green Bay Packers. I mean, it
(29:14):
just kind of just rubs me wrong with that. I
got a best friend from college that loves the Green
Bay Packers for some reason. But he definitely took it
to rub my nose in it, and I had to
text them back. It's a preseason game, wait till the
actual whistle blows.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Our starter didn't even play. No, man, we didn't start
any of our starters. Love had to drive.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Love had to drive. Yeah, I watched that drive. It
was a good drive. Solid I think. I think Green
Bay is stacked to have a good team this year.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
Yeah, they have a good opportunity to go that five hundred,
maybe a step over.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
The playoff wild card, possible wildcard if they can get
through some teams.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
Yeah, because it's based on it's based on how the line.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
If we're continuing on other topic, Minnesota just lost their
potential starting quarterback.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
JJ McCarthy's out with a with a meniscus surgery. Yes,
I really hate to see that because I had high
hopes in the kid. But at the same time, I
kind of want to see how he would play in
a NFL setting, and from media it looked like he
was doing really good.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
The craziest thing of it all is that team has
everything he needed. He was the missing piece on that team.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Yeah. Now, now what are they gonna do?
Speaker 1 (30:36):
They're gonna go with? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Who's there? Who's their backup quarterback?
Speaker 1 (30:40):
Sam Donald?
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Ship Oh man, I feel bad if you're a Vikings fan.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Let me double check and make sure on that. But
I saw Sam Donald look at the depth.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
I think you are right.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
Sam Donald is the starter. Oh man, it goes Sam Donald, McCarthy, Mullins, Jarenhall.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
So Sam Donald question mark possible comeback player of the year.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
He's with Joe Flacco two point up, with a lineup
of Aaron Jones, Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, t J. Hockinson,
who is out at actively right now?
Speaker 2 (31:21):
I think he's on some sort of injury. What's to say?
Does it not say?
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Let me look all open him up? Isn't likely to
be ready week one, could miss anywhere from three to
seven rigular season weeks.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
That's okay, you take.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
So he's out for half the season, Well.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
You t take five of those games. If you win
at least four of those games, you're still in playoff contention.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
Well, and you gotta lose all seven, you have to
win all ten.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
What do their schedule here? Really quick? Who's there first seven.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
Well, and they might have a bye week in that
seven week. Week six, they have a bye.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Week, okay, so he could make it earlier at New
York Giants.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
That's week one. Week two is San Francisco at home loss,
Houston at home lost, then at green Bay loss, Jets
come to them, win bye. Week Week seven's Detroit loss.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Yeah, no, they're only winning two games.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
Yeah, their back end actually doesn't look too bad, so
week yeah. Week eight is RAMS nine's Indy at home
at Jacksonville is tough. At Tennessee wouldn't be too bad
because they've lost, They've sent out a.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
Lot of Tennessee is a version of Houston last year.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
It's a tough it's a tough play at home though.
Then they're at Chicago. Arizona comes to them, Atlantic come
to them, Chicago comes to them at Seattle, Green Bay
comes to them at Detroit.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
I can see five hundred, Yeah, I could see it.
You agree with Sam with Sam Donald?
Speaker 1 (33:13):
Starting with Sam Donald. Yeah, at this point, throw it
up to either Addison or Jay Jetta and you're good.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
I made the stupid comment. Now that you're back of uh,
Sam Donald making comeback Player of the Year.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Hey, all I gotta say is what was the old
saying in the moment?
Speaker 2 (33:38):
Super Bowl?
Speaker 1 (33:39):
Well, what was the old sayings for the last five
to six years? Fuck it, he's down there somewhere, He's.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
Down there somewhere. That was Joe Burrow for a minute.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
Yeah that was Joe. That was Joe, and he had
all three Yeah that was freaking insane. But now it's
the Vikings.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
What else?
Speaker 1 (33:58):
Well, and he's got Aaron Jones coming to the backfield too, yep.
And when Howkinson's healthy again? Jalen Naylor?
Speaker 2 (34:06):
I forgot Howkinson went there? Yeah? Oh you know, Okay,
maybe I'm not giving Minnesota as much credit as needed.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
They've in their defense. Defense isn't bad?
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Uh yeah, that's all right. What else has been?
Speaker 4 (34:23):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (34:24):
Yeah, we could talk about one that's close to home.
Mike Hall Jr. Yeah, getting arrested for domestic violence. Yeah
that hurts. Not a good look, that hurts. Yeah, like
it is? Is the Browns starting to lose a little
(34:47):
bit of their office take on the fact that they
did play with a backup quarterback in the playoffs last year? Yeah,
like what do we like? What what did they think
they've earned? Nothing? Trust me? I the Browns have one
of the toughest schedules quoted by the NFL standards. I
(35:11):
believe it. Uh, you open with Cowboys and it's Tom
Brady's first game, you know calling it that's that's it's
a it's gonna be a pretty great it's gonna be
a great atmosphere, and it's going to be a challenging atmosphere,
yes for a first game. But dude, your second round
pick from the Ohio State University and you go out
(35:37):
and fuck around and find out like that not a
good move. That is not a smart move. That is
an immediate way for them to cut you and not
pay you.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
Yeah, very much.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Also the iuke thing, Yeah fell through that.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
The Steelers, I guess are supposedly picking him up. They
Pittsburgh is in more than talks, they are talking trades.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
Well, and you know the reason I you didn't want
to why it wasn't that.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
Wants to come to Cleveland? Right now, name name one
good player that wants to come to Cleveland. Why would
he want to leave the Niners after the run they
had last year?
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Like, like, why would you want to he request after
what last year?
Speaker 2 (36:28):
It's and it comes back to this listening to a
lot of the Busting with the Boys podcast with Taylor
Lawan and Will Compton. At the end of the day,
the NFL is a business. Okay, San Fran and Kansas City.
Maybe last year San Fran came this close but still lost.
Guess what still business?
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Sloop.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
So if money's due or money's due and you got
to get rid of it, they don't want to pay you,
they won't pay you. They'll say no, we're going to
fish your options out. And if there was any hinting
that I guarantee I Yuke wanted to jump. I mean,
it's a survivor die thing because every person or every
(37:09):
player in the NFL. I learned this. You have to
last five years, then you get all the retirement benefits.
You have to last five years in the league, and
you have to be on an active roster for a
certain amount of time. Wow to get any retirement benefits
(37:30):
from a nonprofit organization. Dude, it's a business. So like, yeah,
we have die hard, hardcore fans. I will always be
a die hard Browns fan. You always be a die
hard Carolina fan. You will always be a die hard
Browns fan. Yes, but at the end of the day,
the reason why we're the not your average sports fans
is because we know it's a business. Yes, we've watched
(37:55):
the transactions, we've grown, We've were like, why did they
do this? Oh, they did that because our cap was
almost out. Yeah, which I uk I think would push
us to a cap. But let him go to the Steelers.
The Steelers are having a two way battle right now
to figure out who's gonna suck at quarterback. Yes, now,
don't get I love Fields. I love Fields, but don't
(38:17):
get me wrong. No, I think they're gonna give it
to Wilson and then Wilson's gonna suck again like he
did in Denver and Tomlin ain't gonna take it.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Here's the other thing, though, where did Tomlin make his
best and he's still gonna go five hundred. It's just
the rule.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
It's a Steelers rule. If you're not from around here
or an AFC North fan of some sort, the Steelers
have a bottom of five hundred.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
What is the biggest thing that you notice about that
offense and how well it did with pieces that were
in it. What did those offenses always have consistently that
made them so good.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
They're very sporadic.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
Incorrect. They had Ben Roethlisberger.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
Oh, I didn't know you were talking about the past.
I thought you were talking about last year.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
No, I'm just talking consistently over history the time that
we've watched the kid from Finlay, the kid from Finlay.
What does that man not have mobility?
Speaker 2 (39:22):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
What are both of the quarterbacks that are fighting for
a spot in Pittsburgh right now.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Fields put up running numbers in Chicago.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
That's my point.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
Wilson is more of the the old guy that he
still has better feet than Ben Roethlisberger. Ever, Okay, okay, okay,
I get where you guys are going.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
And they had Mike Vick as a backup at the
tail end of his career. He didn't play much. But
the thing is that offense is designed I get you.
But that offense is designed for a pocket passer. He's
gonna have to completely redo that offense because Kenny Pego.
Speaker 2 (40:14):
Was a mobile Oh no, Kenny, Kenny too small.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
They're introducing a whole new offense that they've never seen
anywhere in that in there. No, they're redoing the entire offense. Gentlemen,
that is something you have to look at That's the point.
As I said, we are gonna see something very huge,
and we might not see a five hundred Pittsburgh Steelers
(40:40):
team this year. We might not because they're so scrambled
right now with this offense.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
And as a as as I tell, as I tell
a couple of Steelers fans I've talked to, you can't
I mean, defense wins championships, but you gotta score points. Yeah, absolutely,
you can't win because you have t J. Watt. All right, cool,
how many points did you score?
Speaker 1 (41:04):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, held.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
Cam Hayward on his fifth fourteenth year, fifteenth year.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
Yeah, you held the Browns to ten. But what did
you put up? Six?
Speaker 2 (41:17):
Yeah, exactly, yeah, corner.
Speaker 4 (41:20):
Yeah, you can walk down the top receiver, but you're
still giving up the points.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
You gotta score points.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
Ope, there you go.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
Now he makes I'm sorry, No, you're.
Speaker 3 (41:33):
No, it's I one hundred percent get it.
Speaker 4 (41:35):
It's a whole new environment for Mike Tomlin and the
Steelers this year, so it's gonna be interesting to see.
Speaker 3 (41:39):
But yeah, knowing old Tomlin, he'll still fine. Way to
get him.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
No lower than them, no, nothing below five hundred.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
Hundred I'm with it.
Speaker 4 (41:48):
He could get them eight and one and that's still
a good season for him. Your Steelers will say fire
him now, dude, I would one percent take a head
coach whose worst record is five hundred.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
So what did you take away from preseason weekend? Anything
you saw that really kind of stuck out to you?
If not, I completely understand. It's the first week of
preseason foot I watched.
Speaker 4 (42:11):
A bit of the Hall of Fame game. They called
the game to the Lightning, which understandable.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Yeah, I caught a few games.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
But Steelers and Texans I watched, and I caught the
highlights of it. CJ is still CJ Houston. I think
is gonna look spectacular, which we kind of talk predictions
and we were all within the same boat. The Steelers
do have some questions, but I'm sure they'll Philip Nauja
Harris is still going to run the rock like he
normally does, So Steelers are still going to have a
(42:41):
solid run game.
Speaker 3 (42:44):
Who else?
Speaker 4 (42:45):
Denver with bow Knicks bo Nix didn't look too shabby.
I know I had to take a phone call, but unfortunately,
but I know you guys were chatting about J. J.
McCarthy and him being out for a bit, but let
him rest up. Young rookie, he's gonna be the future
of Minnesota. I think Darnold'll still do a solid for him.
(43:06):
But JJ didn't look too shabby. Jane Daniels didn't look
too shabby. Uh, everyone is on the hype train for
Caleb Williams. I'm still lenian on that he's got the
weapons around him, which, honestly, in my book, if they
kept justin fields and put those weapons around fields, I
think he did the same thing as Caleb Williams.
Speaker 3 (43:25):
But that's just my intake. We don't have my intake
with Caleb biz.
Speaker 4 (43:29):
I hoisted it very nicely, but uh, Carolina, South Carolina.
Speaker 3 (43:35):
We'll just leave it there.
Speaker 4 (43:38):
But I caught a few games didn't look too bad.
And uh yeah the kickoff, no, watch the lineup and everything.
I can't get behind it. It's definitely what they took
from the XFL.
Speaker 2 (43:54):
But it's.
Speaker 4 (43:56):
Just with how the original kickoff is. I thought it
was perfect. I get it safety and all this other
fun do Hickey bullshit.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
But I have to say, you were seeing a lot.
Speaker 4 (44:06):
Of Yeah, you're seeing because they're they You gotta put
it in the landing zone. If not, they're starting at
their thirty five as you're kicking off at your thirty.
Speaker 3 (44:18):
I don't know thirty thirty.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
Five, like I said, but I think it'll grow on.
Speaker 3 (44:21):
It's like a pitch clock's right now. No, but there's
still plenty of football. We still got time for it.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
Now, I'm kind of curious.
Speaker 4 (44:31):
As to well, you got in the NFL or are
they going to try to push it with college and
all this other stuff, like are we going to see
kickoff totally different?
Speaker 2 (44:41):
But I will get I could not make it to college.
That is atrocious. I understand the safety of the players
thing I do. I'm I'm always the an advocate, but
I think they took that to a little bit of
an extreme.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
I think it promotes more kickoffs. I think it's a
good piece in some way shape or form kickoff returns.
I mean, oh returns, yeah, kickoff returns.
Speaker 2 (45:09):
Sorry.
Speaker 1 (45:09):
I think it promotes more kickoff returns because you're.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
Not getting ridge. I mean this is just preseason. The
average I guess across the board has only been twenty
twenty to twenty six yard carry. Yeah, okay, when the
old style the average was like forty yards carry because
of all the big breakouts that you'd have.
Speaker 1 (45:29):
Well, is that counting?
Speaker 2 (45:31):
It's gonna make it more challenge.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
Does that count the yards in the end zone?
Speaker 5 (45:33):
Though?
Speaker 2 (45:35):
No, that just counts overall total average in yards gained
after catch. I get you. I think the average was
around thirty eight. So are we helping or like? Are
we helping? Stats? Are we like hurting?
Speaker 3 (45:48):
Like?
Speaker 2 (45:49):
What's the judge here? Like?
Speaker 4 (45:51):
Right, again, it's preseason. We'll probably get more with the
stats and everything else. Regular seasons in full swing and
we see.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
It personally, Well, I like the old I mean, I'll
be the boomer. I don't know why they screwed with it,
and they announced it so late.
Speaker 4 (46:06):
That was the one that really, that's what ticks me
off is because of how late they announced it.
Speaker 3 (46:12):
Oh why are you waiting until now.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
Two weeks before preseason? Yeah, we're gonna change how we
do kickoff? Huh.
Speaker 4 (46:19):
Now you want to do an on side kick, Well
you got to announce it and you gotta be losing.
Speaker 1 (46:26):
Yeah, yeah, I don't like that.
Speaker 2 (46:27):
I don't like that.
Speaker 3 (46:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:29):
No, I you know what, I shouldn't be able to
surprise you with a squib if I want to now
for squib.
Speaker 3 (46:36):
I think that's fine. It's just fall on on side.
Speaker 2 (46:39):
That's what we're gonna see more of. We're gonna see.
Speaker 3 (46:40):
You'll see squib.
Speaker 2 (46:42):
So how does it work now? So it used to
be possession of a squib used to be you had
to let the ball travel ten yards yep. Okay, those
guys are like twenty yards in front of you, like
fifteen yards in front of you. How does that work?
You can't just turn around and catch the ball.
Speaker 4 (47:01):
You chest kick it. Help it rolls closer to your teammates.
They see that the ball is there. And if you're
the kicker, you chest hope you don't.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Exactly which head coach tries to play with the rules.
I'm interested to see which one is going to do
it first, and I have a great feeling it's gonna
be Jim Harball himself. Yeah, is going to play with
the rules on that.
Speaker 4 (47:27):
I'm between one of three and he's one of them
because the guy did. Here's the thing, and I'm going
on the wild stretch with this. I will not be
surprised if Sean Payton try something. Why because that motherfucker
did it at the started in the Super Bowl and
wait and do an on side kicking.
Speaker 3 (47:45):
No, no, no, no, no. One of those two.
Speaker 1 (47:48):
You want to know who's number one that's gonna mess
with it.
Speaker 2 (47:50):
It's Jim Harball.
Speaker 3 (47:56):
Yeah, he's got a good one. Oh the man himself.
He was my third one, went after two.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
You know what crazy in the playoffs?
Speaker 3 (48:11):
Come on, now, he's gonna figure out he walked because
he went too far.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
He was a hell of a special teamer. Yeah he was.
He was a hell before he became a hell of
a linebacker. He blew that playoff.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
He blew that playoff. Was trying to catch him off.
Speaker 4 (48:26):
Car back up, back up, usually a third train. But
he played a lot of special teams.
Speaker 1 (48:31):
But he is up on that rule. You know he
has he's ready to go. He's got something right.
Speaker 3 (48:36):
Those were the three guys I think would test it and.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
Do all right. I have to go Jim Harba in
him absolutely.
Speaker 1 (48:44):
I think Jim's number two. I like your Sean Payton though.
Speaker 4 (48:49):
That's why he said if any wants a dark horse,
Sean Payton's probably the dark horse.
Speaker 3 (48:53):
But it's gonna be between those streets.
Speaker 2 (48:55):
Do anything.
Speaker 1 (48:58):
Yeah, we can't even get to run with the running
back with the running back.
Speaker 3 (49:02):
We're probably gonna fire week three.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
Yeah, your head coach, your six dollars tickets?
Speaker 3 (49:09):
Hey, you think my six dollar tickets alone?
Speaker 1 (49:11):
Is it crazy that your seats are more expensive than
your hot dogs?
Speaker 2 (49:16):
Your hot dogs are more expensive than your seats.
Speaker 4 (49:18):
That's why I was trying to say, you mean our
hot dogs are more expensive than our seats?
Speaker 1 (49:22):
Did I say your seats are more expensive than your
hot dogs?
Speaker 2 (49:24):
That's usually how it goes.
Speaker 1 (49:25):
Yeah, that's that's how it's supposed to be. Your hot
dogs are more expensive than you You know, it's.
Speaker 2 (49:29):
Really expensive though. To see is that preseason poll for
CF well College.
Speaker 3 (49:35):
Oh yeah, the first AP top twenty five that dropped.
Speaker 2 (49:41):
Dude. The top four are the top four that I
picked to be in the playoffs. I got three of
the four, Georgia by the law state, Oregon, Texas, I
got Texas, Forton. I got Texas in it because I
think Texas.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
I think Texas could be a four. But I think somehow,
some way.
Speaker 2 (50:00):
Which I still my pick coms yet I still got
to go back and do that.
Speaker 4 (50:04):
Oh for your schedules, Yeah, so you can fill it
out right there, and let's just take a picture of it.
Speaker 1 (50:09):
Georgia US.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
Is this right?
Speaker 1 (50:12):
Am I getting this right? The Georgia US, Oregon, Texas, Bama,
miss Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan at nine, Florida State
at ten, YEP at your top ten.
Speaker 3 (50:23):
Wow, that's the top ten.
Speaker 1 (50:25):
The craziest part is Missouri at eleven. You taught twelve,
LSU thirteen, clumps in fourteen, Tennessee fifteen, Oklahoma at sixteen,
Okie State at seventeen, Kansas State at eighteen, the U
at nineteen, Texas A and M twenty, Arizona twenty one,
Kansas twenty two, USC with the big drop off at
(50:46):
twenty three, NC State twenty four, Iowa rounding it out
at twenty five. Iowa loves the twenty five spot. It's
like us in the top four.
Speaker 3 (50:54):
Yeah, well you.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
Can't leave when you go to the Big ten championship
all the time. I know you can't leave.
Speaker 3 (51:00):
In Uscah twenty three, I was like, wait, they're ranked.
Speaker 2 (51:04):
I didn't even think.
Speaker 1 (51:07):
Is wild?
Speaker 2 (51:08):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (51:12):
So so now since you mentioned the top ten, which
you guys, which I just shared on our Facebook page too,
you guys want to hear a little fun fact runner.
So here it is This was supposed to a day ago.
If you all saw it.
Speaker 3 (51:24):
Sweet, this was college football on ESPN because they dropped.
Speaker 4 (51:27):
They said today's college football preseason A people versus the
very first a.
Speaker 3 (51:32):
People in nineteen thirty six. Okay, so I'm gonna read
run our ten that you should say.
Speaker 4 (51:37):
Number one is Georgia Hilo State at two, oregonist three,
Texas is four, Alabami five, the fighting Lane Kiffins of
Ole miss Or at six, Yes, Notre Dame. Seven, Penn
State eight, Michigan is nine, Florida State is ten.
Speaker 3 (51:51):
Yes, I'm gonna go and revert.
Speaker 1 (51:54):
So you're gonna do ten for the original.
Speaker 3 (51:56):
I'm gonna go from ten to one for the original.
Speaker 1 (51:59):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
Number ten was Yale.
Speaker 2 (52:03):
Wow, times have changed.
Speaker 4 (52:07):
Number nine was Pittsburgh spelled pitt Panthers. Number eight is Washington.
Number seven is the same as what it is this year.
Number seven was Notre Dame.
Speaker 1 (52:16):
Not surprised.
Speaker 3 (52:17):
Usc was number six.
Speaker 1 (52:19):
Not surprised.
Speaker 4 (52:20):
Now here gets the fun part, because I'm waiting for
his cap to flyoff. Number five is a big ten team.
You'll have a nightmare with this because there's a train
whistle blowing. Number five was perdue number four.
Speaker 3 (52:35):
There's more. Number four was Northwestern? Number three as the
boys in West Point Army.
Speaker 2 (52:48):
Black Knights very much.
Speaker 4 (52:51):
Number two, oh boy, is the Duke Blue Devils?
Speaker 1 (52:55):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (52:57):
Number one?
Speaker 4 (52:58):
I want you guys to guess. Speak is this one
where you'll flip your cap? Year nineteen thirty six? Okay,
here's a few hints. Big ten School. If we saw
had our divisions, they were west the West division.
Speaker 1 (53:15):
Oh so they're still a team.
Speaker 2 (53:16):
Yeah, no, it's still it's still a Big ten team.
This is nineteen thirty If we had the divisions, they're
still in the West. Yep.
Speaker 1 (53:26):
Oh ship was that old Big ten? New Big Ten?
Speaker 3 (53:29):
Was that they've been legend long as the Big it's
east and West.
Speaker 4 (53:35):
So when twenty fourteen they were in the when Big
ten had leaders and legends, leaders and the leaders, they
were leaders. I believe they were leaders in the west.
Was you want their team colors for a hint?
Speaker 2 (53:50):
No, it's probably giveaway, probably gonna give it away very fast. Okay,
so it has to be of course west of Ohio. Yep,
(54:11):
this sucks. All right, I'm just gonna start ripping it
all right, give your first three guesses, you go.
Speaker 1 (54:17):
Guest one, I'll go guess two.
Speaker 3 (54:20):
Well, yeah, yeah, you guess.
Speaker 2 (54:21):
I guess leaders oldest, oldest team in the Big Ten.
That's the they were.
Speaker 1 (54:28):
They've been in the Big Ten for.
Speaker 3 (54:29):
One, in the Big Ten for the long for the
hot minute. Okay, even when we were eleven teams.
Speaker 2 (54:34):
That's going to surprise me.
Speaker 4 (54:35):
All right, Yeah, it's going to surprise you too, because
I saw it and then actually didn't surprise me because
they were a good school.
Speaker 2 (54:41):
Then Michigan State, No.
Speaker 1 (54:44):
Minnesota, it was Minnesota, Minnesota.
Speaker 4 (54:48):
That was my first oneing Gophers were number one in
nineteen thirty six?
Speaker 2 (54:53):
Was it? Michigan State? And the leaders were they legends?
Speaker 1 (54:56):
They were with us?
Speaker 3 (54:57):
Yeah. They were in the same division as US.
Speaker 1 (54:59):
Mission was the only way I remember is because that
was the good division, that was the competitive division.
Speaker 3 (55:06):
Yeah, because Michigan, Michigan State in Wisconsin.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
Yees, yeah, it was unbound soda. So you said nineteen
thirty six, I thought you were going really far back
to when Chicago University was still in the Big Ten,
because Chicago University was in the Big ten.
Speaker 2 (55:26):
Yeah, that was.
Speaker 4 (55:29):
It was it was, Yeah, University of Chicago was still
Big ten at that time. Saw because I think it
was this year. I think it was that year. The
year after was when they dropped out Big ten.
Speaker 1 (55:39):
Yeah, I can't remember when they were post yes.
Speaker 4 (55:41):
But yeah, think about it. So now including twenty twenty
four with Big ten. So you got Washington, you got Purdue,
you got Northwestern, you got Minnesota. That's four Big ten
teams now that we're in the top ten in nineteen
thirty six. Fun fact, since you know Stack.
Speaker 2 (56:00):
Yes, I think it was Sewanee, Tennessee has the best
record ever in college football.
Speaker 3 (56:17):
History that I think does sound right?
Speaker 2 (56:23):
Uh? History? Yeah? Is it? History saysor Division three?
Speaker 3 (56:34):
Their Division three?
Speaker 4 (56:35):
Now history Chicago is Division three.
Speaker 3 (56:40):
I don't know they still got a football program or not.
Speaker 2 (56:42):
Uh conference history, conference championships. That's a lot of conference
college football.
Speaker 4 (56:58):
And if you haven't, we recorded it two weeks ago,
our latest episode where we previewed some of the schedules
and we chatted how teams will do.
Speaker 3 (57:10):
So go check it out.
Speaker 1 (57:12):
We're all excited for it, absolutely, So college football getting
around the corner, Guys, are you excited for the season
coming around or what? Because I'm ready to go.
Speaker 4 (57:24):
I've been ready since baseball hit All Star breaks and
I can watch baseball.
Speaker 2 (57:27):
Since Naive came out.
Speaker 3 (57:32):
And how's that going for you?
Speaker 2 (57:34):
I still haven't got it yet.
Speaker 1 (57:35):
You haven't got a PS five yet?
Speaker 2 (57:38):
No, not yet. I promise I will get one during
football season though, understanding that I will make that promise.
It'll happen during football season. Now, whether that's bullseason or
regular season, we'll see.
Speaker 4 (57:53):
It's sorry because I was waiting for I was waiting
for her to drop on Xbox games, Epic games and
on one PC.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
I want to I want to switch, so I want
to just switch back to Xbox. It is so more expense.
I'd rather just buy PS five, so everything transfers over.
PS five is way cheaper than a new Xbox. Yeah.
Oh yeah, and if I can have everything from my
PS four switch over, come on. Yeah, I think it's
it's a no brainer. College football, I am Week zero
(58:29):
with what is it? Florida State and Georgia Tech. Yes,
playing in Dublin. Yeah, I'm just ready.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
And that game is at noon on ESPN.
Speaker 2 (58:40):
What pisses me off? Though? They should treat Week zero
with a little bit more respect and put some like
more football games up, Like, yeah, the Dublin game is great,
but let's see a decent FBS school playing FCS school.
Speaker 3 (59:01):
New Mexico, Montana State. He's just at VSFCS and I
had ale up.
Speaker 2 (59:05):
That's not bad, all right, Well Montana should do dirty
things to them.
Speaker 4 (59:11):
Well, according to the Vegas spread, h Montana State's favored
by eight.
Speaker 2 (59:19):
It should stay there.
Speaker 4 (59:21):
And then you got s So your's for the week zero.
So we got Florida, say George Tech, we got Montana State,
New Mexico. We have SMU at Nevada, and we have
what chairman will call the game of the week, Delaware
State and Hawaii.
Speaker 3 (59:36):
Because why he always starts the week zero?
Speaker 1 (59:38):
The Rainbow Warriors.
Speaker 4 (59:41):
Kickoffs at eleven fifty nine pm.
Speaker 2 (59:43):
Gee, he's gonna watch it.
Speaker 1 (59:46):
I will be up at eleven fifty nine pm.
Speaker 2 (59:49):
Guess when he's gonna be in bed?
Speaker 1 (59:51):
At twelve twelve o five pm one, Hawaii is down
fourteen twelve oh.
Speaker 3 (59:56):
One A and passed out on the couch for kickoff.
You know what the best gigker is I can watch
that game or I.
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
Lost so.
Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
Chance? Why he's favorite to win.
Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
All pressures but all pressure.
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
Hey, if you fly out right now, you can pay
thirteen bucks to watch that game.
Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
I'm going, how about how about now?
Speaker 3 (01:00:23):
So anyway, that's a week zero.
Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
I don't really think there's anything camps going.
Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
We're still a couple of weeks out. Gentlemen. The next
episode will be the real tell, because that'll be that'll
be August twenty seventh. Yep, that'll be right before week one.
Speaker 3 (01:00:40):
Yeah, that'll be the start of week one, and justle.
Speaker 4 (01:00:43):
Week one that's wedding it's here, yeses, and two.
Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
Weeks of high school football in two yes, sir.
Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
So, I know before we kind of get to our
closing pieces, I know you you wanted to talk about
the Olympics.
Speaker 2 (01:00:57):
A little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:00:58):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (01:00:59):
So i'll chest highlight fuck it up.
Speaker 2 (01:01:04):
If there's a win.
Speaker 3 (01:01:06):
Oh so us. Yeah, I was waiting for more of
a chant from me in the USA. US souh, So
i'll high like the US and China tied with forty golds.
Speaker 4 (01:01:19):
Japan has twenty gold, Austria had eighteen, and France had
sixteen gold. But out of the total count, we have
one hundred and twenty six medals. We finished with forty gold,
forty four silver, and forty two bronze, and both the
basketball games against France were fantastic. I actually watched them,
(01:01:39):
and I watched both the I caught the tailing of
the men's and I watched the women's for one hundred
meter relay and track. And let me tell you, the
women's made sure they didn't give it up, and props
to Ireland. They were legit and second, but they had
Peppin's step for both the Netherlands and Great Britain, and
Great Britain literally took bronze by a step. So total
(01:02:02):
medals USA with one hundred and twenty six, China with
ninety one, Great Britain with sixty five, France with sixty four,
Austria with fifty three, Japan with forty five, Italy with forty,
Netherlands with thirty four, Germany with thirty three, and Korea
to round out the top ten with thirty two. And
you could check it out online for the pairs twenty
(01:02:23):
twenty four Olympics Olympics dot comments right there, NBC four
and Peecaw carried it he could so watch some of
the stuff there and rewatch some of the events they
got and Snoopdalk kicked it off with a little show
to say, hey, LA's.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
Got twenty twenty eight Olympics.
Speaker 4 (01:02:37):
Yes, sir, so she catched to all the athletes I
competed in the Olympics.
Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
And thank you for it, because it was a great
time watching the Olympics. Nice even balance from the US
salad showing as always.
Speaker 2 (01:02:50):
First year Summer Olympics. I've never I never watched any
of it. Really just was too busy. I was right,
too busy. I was catching highlights like a you know,
women's rugby was really big.
Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
Ping pong was not big for the US, but it
was really good.
Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
The Turkish dude that took silver with the shooting like
all the Chinese. Oh yeah, sons of bitches are wearing
like all the little flappy flat things and like the all.
Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
The different glasses and gas out here just one arm
in it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
Yeah, it was the Tom Cruise thing. That was pretty cool.
Watch that.
Speaker 4 (01:03:27):
And the US for the four hundred relay, we had
a young athlete compete sixteen years old, got gold, and
then he came out with the post he said, man,
I really got school in two weeks showing.
Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
His gold medal. And then what was it? USA women's
basketball winning by one point against France because the the chicken.
Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
Yabby Williams but.
Speaker 2 (01:03:51):
Stepped on the line.
Speaker 4 (01:03:52):
I was watching that game the entire time, and of
course the cut a little helping with basketball and stuff.
The little assistant volunteer coaching me was the only because
I'm like, oh, you want to call fouls on them
for us breathing on them, but they could literally put
our player.
Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
On the ground and you won't call it literally. Other
than that, it sucks that they have to pay taxes
on those medals. Yeah, that's that's bullshit. That's bullshit.
Speaker 1 (01:04:23):
So gentlemen, we'll take our quick break, our uh do
our final pieces and get out of here.
Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
Yeah, I gotta take a leak, all right, we'll.
Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
Back now the moment you've been waiting for the fans
weekly AFB's.
Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
And a FEWS. This is what I get.
Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
I was unprepared for all this. I asked to do
all these things at once, and now my intro is bad.
To AFB's, A views vs. AEWs is always just gotta
roll it. Dulton's on the mind.
Speaker 2 (01:05:02):
A FB is your phone?
Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
Thanks, I think I agree.
Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
Your if my FB is your phone. We recorded two
tiktoks today and camera man, it's fine, you're good.
Speaker 1 (01:05:17):
We got one.
Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
We got one out of the three. Yeah, So my
a f B is definitely your phone.
Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
Not a fan of this thing, not a fan of
this thing technology.
Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
My AFB would probably be you picking the expensive Natty white.
That's my honorable mention.
Speaker 4 (01:05:36):
Uh, Chris, what you got well be prepaired because he
might throw you as the honorable mention because he pointed
blanked on me. He's like, oh, I guaranteed Dalton's got
this right.
Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
Bullshit.
Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
So anyway, Uh, I'm.
Speaker 4 (01:05:50):
Gonna piggyback with the ears a little bit, but I'm
gonna go a little further. My a f B is
actually the Metaverse's not just like phone and stuff like Facebook,
TikTok all this stuff, Like all the updates that we
just got with the recording and stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
I'm now getting the alerts for it.
Speaker 4 (01:06:04):
I'm getting on to try and share stuff, and they're like, oh,
you gotta accept this and everything. And then I had
a couple of buddies actually got their Facebook hacked and
they're trying to get their pages back and it's like
this is legit me and Facebook's like, yeah, no, it's not.
You well report the page because they're acting like me, well,
we can't report.
Speaker 3 (01:06:21):
We can't do anything with the.
Speaker 4 (01:06:22):
Page because they haven't did anything against community standards. I've
been fighting with the page reporting it for almost our
page got hacked, not our page out friend of mine,
oh but actually a friend of ours, his personal Facebook
got hacked.
Speaker 2 (01:06:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:06:36):
So Mark Zuckerberg, if you're listening, go fuck yourself.
Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
Uh of the week has to be haul for doing that.
Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Yeah, that was gonna be. Yeah, that was my number
one until your phone fucked up. Dumb.
Speaker 1 (01:06:52):
So hey, if you absolutely units who you got.
Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
The fact that college football is twelve days away, I
respect that in a high school football game for legit
counting season is next Friday.
Speaker 1 (01:07:06):
Yes, so Chris.
Speaker 2 (01:07:09):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:07:10):
Big honorable mention is Team USA competing in the Olympics
eleven of twenty five gold and track events, which I
thought wasn't too shabby. Basketball for both men's and women's
good wins over France.
Speaker 3 (01:07:25):
Solid honorable mention.
Speaker 4 (01:07:27):
But my big af you is actually I'm gonna go
a little local with Triple A action the Toledo mud
Hens with their spectacular walk off win that is to
walk off wins in a row. That when I've been
there and uh a little love for Spike because they
have little jumbo tron mid race thing that they do.
Spike won his second race over the mud Hens mascots.
(01:07:50):
So Spike's two and though so hit somebody in repeat.
I'm ready for hockey season there too, so but yeah,
all in all, add on to it the aa F
you s mud Hens excellent game Saturday night and uh
ten points for gryffindor.
Speaker 1 (01:08:05):
Absolutely uh, guys in my unit of the week. First
thing is just the guards this evening. In general, the
first thing I won two to one hosting the Cubs
in Cleveland Big Christmas is a four hundred and thirty
footing Bam bombs bam in Cleveland on in August evening,
which that's probably the reason it went four thirty. That's
(01:08:29):
clean for the help with the two to one win.
And then MGK threw out the first pitch and he
threw out He threw it out in the crowd on purpose.
Hell yeah, so proud of him. Good move, absolutely, man
of the people. That's all it is. Are you ready
(01:08:50):
for DB's three.
Speaker 2 (01:08:59):
Road rad Yes, we're back a minute, we back, well,
Doug's back, but we back yeah, traditional style.
Speaker 3 (01:09:09):
I was gonna say we did not the DBS three.
Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
No, yes, we did not DBS three last time.
Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
Yes, DBS three. Taking that football aspect, your top three
college football atmosphere is that you would love to be
a part of one day. Who wants to start it?
Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
You got an idea over there, mister, you've uh this
I think is a bigger topic to you of what
you like to experience.
Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
Just short, sweet to the point.
Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
Yeah, I'm literally just gonna say I'm not gonna rank
because it's gonna be just the three in general, because
it's all a night Rocky Top game at Rocky Top
Tennessee has to be. Honestly, I would love it to
be Kentucky versus Tennessee because of that rivalry because I
(01:10:04):
want to watch Kentucky play football.
Speaker 3 (01:10:07):
But I know how it's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (01:10:10):
So that'll be.
Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
That's one of the three. Like I said, I'm not
ranking them another one.
Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
You're not ranking them a Stevie's three. So where's it at? Actually?
Speaker 3 (01:10:18):
Yeah, that will be three?
Speaker 2 (01:10:20):
There we go so two.
Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
Two will be the Red River, Texas, Oklahoma.
Speaker 4 (01:10:26):
I always want to go there. I want to get
check out the state there. I want to watching them
play football. So yep, I hadn't lost it. It's coming
back though.
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Local sec big big, I mean big twelve.
Speaker 3 (01:10:48):
I was gonna say, I'm sticking with the Power five,
but I got a good group of five one oh.
Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
As you're one.
Speaker 4 (01:10:56):
Okay, actually it features a group of five. It's going
to be They haven't played in a while, but I
would love them to play because it's pretty much among
their backyard. It's just away and it's going to be
a state over. I want we are Marshall in West Virginia.
Speaker 2 (01:11:14):
West Virginia, the original backyard, braw the.
Speaker 4 (01:11:18):
Pre Bachelor, the money, the state, Yeah, the state. There's
they got a good name for it to supposedly honorable mention.
Speaker 3 (01:11:27):
Yeah, an honorable.
Speaker 4 (01:11:29):
Mention Ohio and Marshall because that was a rivalry. They
talked about renewing it and they haven't yet. But the
Aha Bobcats and Marshall Thundering had a small that too.
Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
Yeah, and it was a trophy there was, Yes.
Speaker 3 (01:11:41):
They talked about it. They bring the game back. They're
going to bring dust off the old trophy chair.
Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
You're free number three. I swear to God if one
of them doesn't consist with Hawaii.
Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
I was getting ready to say I want to go
to Honolulu and I want to go to Quarance TC
Athletic Sports Complex. That'd be awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
Manchoos Hawaii's rival Boise. Yeah, okay, so I'm gonna guess
that game.
Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
Yeah, I would go with the team.
Speaker 4 (01:12:10):
The TC Sports Complex won't be there very long because
why is in the process of getting their new stadium.
Speaker 3 (01:12:15):
It is supposed to be new Aloha.
Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
It's beautiful because the original is. Yeah, but that's number three.
Number two. I want to go see the Red River
showdown in the Cotton Bowl.
Speaker 2 (01:12:29):
Okay, so you both have two.
Speaker 1 (01:12:32):
Number one. I want to go see Husky Stadium, man.
Speaker 3 (01:12:38):
Yeah, that's something about Husky Stadium.
Speaker 1 (01:12:40):
It's right off the ocean. Have you ever have you
ever watched a game just on TV and when they
do the PM.
Speaker 2 (01:12:49):
Remember when Oregon beat Ohio State and then Michigan played
at Washington.
Speaker 3 (01:12:54):
Yeah, Michigan was home that year, No Wash what Washington
was in the Big House? I remember that.
Speaker 2 (01:13:03):
I think it was the other way around, because I
swore they did either way. Yeah, I've seen Washington had
a college game day there and.
Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
I watch beautiful. It's you enjoy football, but you're also
kind of getting a zen vibe from just the feel vibe.
Speaker 4 (01:13:20):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
Imagine that in the middle of November, you're freezing your
balls off.
Speaker 2 (01:13:25):
Dude.
Speaker 4 (01:13:25):
They have the Apple Cup and they purposely bumped it
up to a four thirty kickoff. Here, it was four
thirty kickoff. Of course it's three hours there, but the
sun sets early by the start of the fourth quarter,
and it was both the years, like one year at
wall Zoom and then the year at Husky. Oh my lord,
(01:13:46):
the freaking sunset hit the mountain in that view, chiss right,
and I'm like, who cares about the game at this moment,
I'm gonna enjoy that sunset. Okay, back to football.
Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
Yeah, Well, now that I've had time to decipher which
ones I have, my honorable mention would have to be
a Penn State whiteout game.
Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
That's another one.
Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
Uh, that would be my honorable mention. Yes, Chris and
I will share the same number three. I would definitely
really want to go see a Rocky Top night game.
I've always wanted to go down to Knoxville. I've heard
great things. It's a straight up college town. That's probably
one of my favoritees that I personally always want to
(01:14:30):
go to the other one.
Speaker 4 (01:14:32):
I was going to say, like, are you just Rocky
Top in general or do you want to be like
Rocky like Tennessee place.
Speaker 2 (01:14:40):
It has to be Tennessee Alabama. That's another go to
be Tennessee Alabama.
Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Although they've been doing three thirty scheduling might change it anyways.
Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
Night game wise, oh god, if I could pick another
SEC team, do you think they do like Florida at night?
They probably did Florida. I think Florida Tennessee Florida.
Speaker 4 (01:15:01):
Like I said when I stayed in mine in said Kentucky.
It's because of they've been rivals for so long and
it's usually a night game, whether it's at Kroger Field
or at Naymar or Naylan Stadium.
Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
Number two would probably have to be the Backyard Brawl
in Uh fuck, I just forgot the town, West Virginia, Morgantown.
Thank you. I would like to go to Morgantown to
watch the backyard Brawl.
Speaker 3 (01:15:34):
Morgantown's right on the state board.
Speaker 2 (01:15:36):
Yeah, small ish game, but I think that would be
pretty cool For how close it is. This one might
catch some people off guard. I want to go up
to Madison, Wisconsin. My Number one is Madison, Wisconsin to
do the jump around. I've heard that as a hell
of an atmosphere. Oh, absolutely, that's my number one. I've
(01:15:56):
never been to the I've never been to the game.
I've always wanted to do that. But that's kind of
like every Ohio State, like if you grew up, you
grew up. That's like, I want to go up to
an Ohio State Wisconsin game day or night and jump around.
That's like a goal of mine. Shout out to one
(01:16:17):
of my old coaches is up there at Pat Lambert.
I think he's the recruiting coordinator. So yeah, I would
love to go up and see him again. That'd be great.
Uh if I if I were to give another honorable mention,
I had it and then I lost it when I
was out in Kansas. Oh, Kansas, Kansas State. That ship
they take that ship the heart. Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (01:16:40):
There was a small documentary I can't remember what, but.
Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
I was watching shuts down.
Speaker 3 (01:16:47):
It does, and it's not just football, but.
Speaker 2 (01:16:50):
The whole state shuts like.
Speaker 3 (01:16:52):
They wanted to stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:16:54):
They wanted to do it at the Chief Stadium one year,
and the Chief said no because there'd be too many
alcohol violations.
Speaker 3 (01:17:01):
Wow, but they had Kansas Missouri out of Arrowhead.
Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
Bullshit.
Speaker 3 (01:17:08):
I'm glad to be there. I got another stadium too,
they could play it, say it.
Speaker 2 (01:17:13):
I can't remember the.
Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
Stadium name though, I'm like, there's another stadium by.
Speaker 2 (01:17:17):
The uh I've touchdown Jesus. That'd be my other one
touchdown Jesus specific game for that would probably be.
Speaker 1 (01:17:26):
Notre Dame UOC understand.
Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
Damn. Maybe I should have did a draft on this one.
Actually a lot of them are rolling in my head now.
Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
I got it pretty separate. You guys had the same three,
I had the same two. So yeah, I think the
draft wouldn't have been bad. We'll remember it next time.
How about that? That's fair because you already talked about
in the.
Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
Next one, so we'll talk about all right.
Speaker 1 (01:17:49):
