Fans of stand up star Sebastian Manuscalco are really enjoying Bookie,
now in its second season on HBO. Max Sebastian plays
a veteran bookie named Danny. Omar J. Dorsey is terrific
as a former pro footballer named Ray who partners up
with Danny, providing some of that quote unquote muscle. The
shtick here is that Danny and Ray, although talking tough,
don't seem able to reel in the big money that's

owed to them. Several guest stars, some of them like
Charlie Sheen playing himself, make this half hour sitcom laugh
out loud, funny, a little rough around the edges and raunchy,
but the one line zingers are terrific, and watching Danny
and Ray getting themselves in trouble and just trying to
survive is a lot of fun. Season two of Bookie,
