Untold history, a story not very often talked about, the
focus of a four part mini series on Netflix called
Death by Lightning. It's the true story of the assassination
of President James A. Garfield by Charles Guiteaux, who's an
obsessed fan of Garfield, at first believing he's owed a
government position for helping to elect Garfield in the first place.

A terrific cast including Michael Shannon as Garfield, Betty Gilben
as the first Lady, Nick Offerman is Chester A Arthur
who assumed office just a few months after Garfield was shot,
and a terrific performance by Matthew McFadden as Charles Gutteaux,
who slowly comes apart mentally until he snaps and kills
the president. My main gripe was that the dialogue was

modernized a bit, but for the most part, this was
