Apple TV is now presenting Spike Lee's latest Highest to Lowest,
a remake of a classic by Akira Kurosawa in nineteen
sixty three.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
In this updated version of the story, a powerful businessman,
a music mogul played by Denzel Washington, is about to
purchase controlling ownership in his own company when his son
is kidnapped. He's ready to pay ransom until it's revealed
that the kidnapper took the wrong boy, the son of
Denzel's childhood friend and employee, Paul, played by Jeffrey Wright,
an ex Cohn.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Things ultimately get hashed out with Denzel, who carries a
movie so well encouraging positive values in the hope that
the kidnapper will atone a beautifully shot film throughout New
York City and the musical track is terrific.
